Hello all, i have a more another message on the crap thats been going on.
If you missed it last time fellow deviantart user jon-lombardi broke up with me over facebook chat because he thought i was going to break up with him. without saying a word i showed our friends the conversation and they feel like they can't be friends with someone who would be so mean. it was their choice, i did nothing to influence them.
I could say a lot about how he treated me, I'm not here to rant about him though. I'm gonna take the high road and refuse to badmouth him over the internet. because its between me and him.
This is all pointless, and should have fizzled out into nothing. the sad thing is we all could have been friends again if bad choices weren't made.
he's tried to blame this all on me, but the relationship not working was both of our faults. It's true he's hurt me badly, but i'm going to continue to enjoy life and he can't take that away from me.

I know i know... its been a while hasn't it? but look i'm still alive! *crickets chirp* ...
Wellp, We just moved yet again, the new place is smaller but nice. classes are over for Christmas break, so that means unpacking, video games, christmas shopping, and drawing! next semester i'm moving on campus, for a lot of reasons i'm happy about that, but there are some things i'm nervous about. i hope all goes well.

more art to come since i'm currently free from the prison that is college. I also have some school projects to submit so i'll be back to submitting regularly for the time being. Merry Christmas everyone!

also notice anything different about my journal? thats right! jonathan dumped me because he knew i was gonna dump him. he broke up with me over im no less! ah well, i'm not gonna lose any sleep over it. he don't know what he's missing. i'm actually kinda relieved... he can't hurt me anymore.

Hai guyz! welcome to Saber's Journal of mild hardcore pwnsomeness.
First order of bizness: school is going fine. you know it is because i haven't updated which means i'm busy passing all my classes. spanish is a struggle, painting sucks, and i'm not motivated in kinesiology, but i didn't get any of those little warnings on the school website telling me i'm failing so all is well. but sadly i'm running out of money and art classes are expensive... ah, life.
also my social life has taken off lately and has been a mild distraction. but a good distraction. probably a distraction i needed. :3
anyways, i had a question for you boys and girls. do you think i should submit some pictures from photography class that i've taken? i don't know how well it would mix with my other art so i was wondering what your opinions are. talk amongst yourselves, and please give me some input.
also let me take a poll: i haven't had much time to do any drawing, so when i do have time i don't know what to draw. you guys have any requests? not saying i'll do them, but some suggestions would be cool XD

Small update: college is going well. so far all my classes are manageable. spanish is going to take some hardcore studying to get through but i'm optimistic. i know i haven't updated in forever, i'm sorry.... since i have a long weekend i'll try to get something new up.

So, back to college i go. i start classes on the 19th, it's bitter sweet. getting up early... woo hoo. not to mention i have more hours this semester than i've ever had, and some classes i'm kinda worried about... but i think i can handle it! and i think i'm ready to go back to being super busy again.

as for DA stuff i wanted to change my icon but alas, my old icon maker sight decided i'm not good enough for it. i tried a new one and then DA was picky about icon size and bleh, i give up. you'll have to live with the old icons for right now.

Also i very rarely sign out. but lately Da has been signing me out constantly. It could be my computer not saving the password, or i'm being hacked. however, nothing on my site has changed yet. If i am being hacked, i have no idea how to stop it. i'd hate to start a new page after 11,000+ pageprieviews...

Anyway despite this i've been doing pretty well lately. God is good. ^_^

I had a good birthday! despite my specific instructions my parents still got me a few gift cards, chinese food, and the MOTHER OF ALL ICE CREAM CAKES. they're going through one of those rebellious stages, it's just a phase. but this cake was chocolate cake, carmel in between, and half banana split and half chuncky chocolate ice cream. (ooooooh sweet mystery of life at last i found you....) it was fantastic, i can't wait to have another piece today. and my friends were nice enough to wish me happy birthday ^_^ thanks everyone

also i was able to find a co-signer for my loan with spotless credit. yes! now i can take out another loan for school! my family won't have to go hungry so i can go to college ^_^
now i just have to think about getting books and a meal plan.

Demanded!! we'll see if they comply -_- probably. we hardly have the money to buy food. (yay ramen!!)
anyway so that's that. who needs to celebrate birthdays after you turn 18 anyway? XD it's all downhill from there. and why celebrate another year of STILL being single? XD
so this is all fine with me. my parents have always wanted to throw me a big party ever since i was a teenager but i never wanted one. i hate being the center of attention. i really do! its so embaressing! (cough i'm just going to miss the presents cough) is that selfish? probably. i'm such a child XD
if you want to know how old i am i will tell you: i am an ooooooold lady! i was born in 1987, if you really want to know figure it out. lol

Also i'm toiling over my commission. almost done! once i'm done i'll have a little spending money. yay! its been so hard because i have to paint outside and the weather is always so hot! >_< tell you what, i love the south (fried chicken, sweet tea, and whatnot) but not in the summer!

Also i feel much better about chief's death. at least i can look at his picture without crying now ^_^;;
a while back we brought home his ashes and they're in a lovely box on the mantel. our younger dog, Molly, smelled his collar and got SO excited, she thought he was coming home.... sniff.

ahem.. sorry to end on a sad note. my life really isn't this tragic most of the time XD

http://Saber28.deviantart.com/journal/25627835/ Mon, 29 Jun 2009 11:41:40 PDT We'll we've recently moved into a new house. yay no more mold that slowly kills me in my sleep! so i've been trying to get my room and upstairs living room all situated and pretty. almost done with that.

the day we were moving in mom took my 12 year old doggy, Chief, to the vet because he's been under the weather. he had a huge tumor in his throat that was nearly suffocating him. so they put him under and tried some medicine on him to get rid of it but his poor old heart couldn't take it. it was either that let the tumor slowly and painfully take his life. i'm glad that since he had to go, that it was peacefully in his sleep. he was the best dog in the world. he never bit anyone his whole life and was always so sweet and gentle. i still cry whenever it hits me that he's really gone. whenever i don't hear his bark at the doorbell and don't feel him under the table waiting for scraps of food. but most of all when i need comforting and he doesn't come to me as if he somehow knew i needed him. There will never be another dog like him.

I am currently 28.

That’s difficult to say since I’m rather picky. I do like a good lobster given that it’s cooked properly to my liking. However I’m the only one who can cook anything to my liking.

All members of the Crescent are trained to kill whomever they may love, or even are slightly fond of. So I certainly don’t have a “favorite love”. Especially NOT Danny. *ZAP* ouch! what was that? I got good grades this semester and kept a 3.2 gpa. good enough for me! The sad things is all my friends are gone now ;_; le sigh. However I'm totally stoked about NEVER HAVING TO TAKE ANOTHER MATH OR HISTORY CLASS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. can i get an amen?!

Not only will I have more time for art, but i also will have time for writing Team Number Awesome (go see my writing account, the icon is down there somewhere), making awesome videos like star fox crap 2 (see my facebook page for star fox crap 1) and spending time with my true love, Fable 2.
I've also got commissioned to do a painting for my aunt, so let the good times roll.
And I may take ideas/requests between commissions so hit me with your best shots, if i like the idea i'll draw it :3

On a side note i'm thinking about getting a youtube account. i've talked myself out of it before in the past due to all the nasty flaming that goes on there, but if i can disable comments i might give it a shot. i guess give me some opinions on that.

Also i'm going to update this journal more frequently from now on since i'll have time. as for right now here's what i have planned for all you lovely people:

-Fable 2 fan art. one of which being a comic about Garth tricking Reaver into going to "summer camp".

in other news, i'm going to cancel Alien Youth. i just lost the drive to complete it. bit it's all good, it didn't get much attention anyway. however, if you were watching the invader zim comic, please post here and let me know. if i find it had a few fans i might force myself to continue it. but if you don't post i'll never know, therefore no more Alien Youth. so post of you want to save it.

My original story Team Number Awesome is progressing nicely. i'm getting ready to put it into comic form as something that i'm just going to enjoy working on and not really plan to compete. with school projects and stuff there really no way to give myself a deadline.

So it's back to school for me. i've been away too long because now i don't feel like going back. the holidays made lazy. Ah... life....

Besides a problem with my journey program credits, and not being able to sell my books back, the end went smoothly. I have two grades left to get, but so far I'm strictly A B (astronomy might be my downfall, lets hope it won't bring my GPA down too far).

now that all that crap out of the way, let me tell you what you actually want to hear. over the break I'll get down to finishing stuff I started. That means request, incomplete comics, all that jazz. Not to mention a drawing of Santa the big man commissioned himself. He wanted me to draw him how he looks on the off seasons, ie when he trims his beard and walks around like a normal guy. Don't tell anyone, it's a secret! oh and it turns out Santa likes anime, who knew? he's a busy guy this season so i'm supposed to do it asap. anyway it's an honor to be commissioned by such an important fellow, i hope i draw well enough....

by the way, my story is coming along great. it has a real live title now: Team Number AWESOME (the title was inspired by something one of my art professors said, it was too good to pass up). It's a fabulous story about a young naive girl with super strength living in an underground city where criminals go to escape the law. It's something i'm eventualy going to draw as a comic (ha ha, famous last words) it starts out kinda rough, but takes off about chapter 3. go check it out. the writing account icon is down there.

Art update-
i've been drawing nothing. just a few pictures in my sketchbook and some stress induced class doodles which include a lot of blood, :3 faces on buff guys, people in padded cells, and a huge portion of my male characters in drag. yay for stress doodles!
Alien youth is at a complete standstill. sorry. i didn't want to do it when i actually had free time.
i've mostly been drawing a lot of my newer character Talmadge, the loony murderous professor. so expect to see a big dump of him if i ever get around to it. i wrote a thing about talmadge on my live journal account... though i might post it in my da writing account too. (disclaimer: Talmadge is not based off of any of my real professors. i created him a while before i started school. don't worry)

Life update-
My life is rather annoying. i'm buried under a pile of work all the time and am ignored a lot. sniff... curse this shyness. if i could just get on top of the work load maybe things will start looking up. if not i don't know how much more of this i can take. words of wisdom in my time of need would be appriciated TT_TT
so yeah. basically my life is school and school is my life right now.

Other updates-
on a side note i got a mac... its nice and white. i hated it at first but i think i'm starting to get the hang of it. i was born and raised a pc user so it will take some getting used to. i still love my old gateway though... he's constantly in use by ever member of my family so i don't feel too bad for him. and i use him if i need to do something pc-ish.

Things to come-
The book is still in the works but its definatly getting published and will be distrubuted worldwide.
i've done a lot of one page comics lately. expect to see them as soon as i can find a moment to breathe

I finished illustrations for a children’s book. Hopefully it’ll get published. I’m just glad to be done with it finally. I’ll admit i procrastinated a lot.

I got a new commission to do artwork for a band’s cd. It’s still in the early stages, but when it’s out its gonna be big. I can’t wait! :3

heh and more problems... i got a tablet (yay!). it has all these cool features like if you flip it around it erases things like a pencil and the thickness of the line depends on how hard you press down and a lot of other things... well it HAD these fetures yesterday. but when i went to use it today. boom. all gone. i'm stumped here people. i tired everything but i can't get these fetures to come back. if anyone has any suggestions i'd be very happy to hear them

also a note to my students:
times runnin out people, i'm movin soon. and here i thought you guys liked art class? whats the deal? all you have to do not go to the dripulator a few days and collect enough money to pay me and we can start up again. well even if we don't start up again you still have to pay me what you owe me before i go. how ya like them apples? nyahahahaha

's journal pretty much sums it up. go read. now. i think i'm a pretty good artist, well you wouldn't know that on da now would you? all anyone ever cares about is stupid crappy idiotic naruto fan art. thats the only people who are popular on here. what about us original artist or the ones that are still improving? we need some love too, we need some comments and pagepreviews too. its just not worth it to me to be on here anymore.

not only that but my life has become difficult lately, i don't want to be on here. none of you freaking care anyway. no one every asks me how i'm doing or if i feel okay. all you every do is dump your problems on me. well that i can deal with, because i love to help people, if you show equal intrest. you think i don't have problems? you think my life is perfect? maybe i need someone to talk to ever think of that? nobody even freakin cares that i'm moving! well don't expect to see me on here much anymore. i've had it.

Short entree this time and stuff. Not in the best of moods... got a lot going on, life has been a punk of late.

For those of you who know me in person: I have a wonderful gamecube for sale, works great. Three controllers and your choice of one of these three games: Viewtiful Joe red hot rumble, Animal Crossing, or lego starwars. Everything together is 50 bucks. Cant beat that with a stick.

Also I'm going to be moving out of state soon. Bleh... sadness...

and i hope you all took a moment out of your day to remember those who lost their lives in the terroriest attack and their families. if not take a moment now... ... ... good job.

I think it was on the first day we were ridng back on the metro, i sat on the seat by my brother, i had my ipod on to fit in since it seemed everyone in Virginia owned an ipod. we were already about 10 minutes into our ride back when it stoped and let people on, i glanced up to see some people come in... meh.. people... random people... nina.. more people... woah! double take! nina?! a woman the spiting image of one of my characters had steped onto the train and sat in a sideways seat. she crossed her legs very nina like, she wore similar clothes, same height and body type, her face her make up her glasses everything... i felt like i was that writer in that movie stranger than fiction... the only difference was her hair was down and nina usually wears her hair up. after freaking out on the inside for a moment i began think-writing a story inspired by the image of nina on the metro. Bo, the man who is in love with her, busts his butt to get on the subway train she rides early every morning so he can save her a seat by him. it ends up showing how far he'd go just to sit by her for 20 minutes. its a short once sided love story, pretty romantic and slightly creepy. i'm typing it up now, i might submit it if it turns out to be good. we'll see. anyway that just goes to show how simple moments in your life can be creatively inspiring.
And also thanks to the trip, i've had the strangest urge to draw Abe and Kermit O_o;

so i saw pirates 3.. yeah it made me happy. i loved it. Jacks halarous and awsome but Barbossa pwns them all. fyi i'm not going to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen it but i kinda thought it'd be funny if $%# was Davy Jones' lover. and by joe i was right. it was kinda like reading a fanfic or something... those two together. anyway, i give it five stars and two and a half thumbs up

okay so some of you might be wondering why the heck i chose i title like 'All Shinobi Rejects' for my beautiful (heh right) Rock Lee fan comic. well its really quite simple: lee is an outcast. he can't use ninjutsu or genjutsu and basicly sucks at life. later in the story he joins up with two other ninja and an unninja who are also misfits for different reasons. Opal's out on a suicide mission and seems to constantly wear people repellant. Yasashiku was abandoned by his squad due to his random laugh attacks during missions... *snort* and Ryo's a scrawny weakling from a normal unninja person village who wants more than anything to be a ninja. what better name for their little team then the All Shiobi Rejects? named affectionatly after the wonderful band of course.

okay one last thing to report... i maybe possibly kinda sort of am looking into opening up my own shop here in town. theres a new shopping center and i wrote down some phone numbers to call. if you're not in my area you really don't have to care.. however this could end up being very big if i do this right. okay.. here goes... i'm looking into opening up my own anime/manga/japanese stuff shop. it can be like a little hang out of otaku to come read manga and watch anime and get otaku's main food sorce: pockey. if it goes right i'd like to teach classes in a back room and stuff. i have big plans for it indeed. i just hope i don't mess it up. i'm planning on giving the customers 10% off if they come in cosplay lol

HOLY CRAP! thats more than i ever got on any of my good pics. ah well... deviant art likes funny crappy pics i guess. i will continue to draw good stuff though darn it! even though i don't get as many comments on them. anyway i'm not saying its a bad thing really, i like the comments and favs on the gay platyapus pic, but i wish the ones i spent more time on would get the same treatment. but thanks to all of you who faved and commented on that thar pic and well all of my pics, its the comments that keep me submiting.

so i love the movie happy feet. its just so awsome. and the music is just amazing. i didn't know Robin Williams and Hugh Jackman could sing like that! maybe i just haven't seen the right movies. i always thought mumble was sort of like lee's character in a way. all the penguins could sing and mumble couldn't so he danced, all the ninjas could do ninjitsu but lee couldn't so he used taijutsu, they were both outcasts trying to prove himself to the pretty popular girl. meh, maybe its just me. i found the connection funny, might have to do a parody or something.

So i've been doing a lot of drawing and alot of writing with it's fun... and it keeps me working on my story as well. the stories we write together are basically a crossover of our own original stories. now it's going to be hard to write my comic without her characters I've also been teaching art classes. i luff my students as strange as they are, but i'm not one to talk. but i would like to do something else.. like maybe take some art classes myself. would it be too weird to teach and take artclasses at the same time? i work during the spring and summer (because i serve ice cream and who wants ice cream during the winter? besides well...me) i should be in the money by then, maybe i'll be able to buy things for myself for once. it seems like all my money goes back into my art.

okay so i'm defiantly going to submit the first chapter of All Shinobi Rejects first. then the invader zim comic (still nameless at this point). then continue with All Shinobi Rejects. i have yet to draw chapter 2, but hopefully by then i will have it. it's going to be in b/w. Invader Zim is only one chapter, i thought about doing more but i'm not sure if i will.. i guess it depends on if people like it or not. anyway i'm going to submit a new page once a week, i'm excited about it ^_^

Here are the descriptions for my comic again just for the heck of it

Invader Zim:
not sure on a title yet. anyway it focuses on Zim and his attempts to overthrow the tallest. (yeah the taking over earth thing came to a sudden end) anyway he travels with Gir, Skoodge, and Minimose, with Dib and Gaz on their tail, to a remote planet to confront his old friend Grit, an Irken Mechanic. there he finds that Grit is in trouble with Tak (now a General). he soon discovers that helping him may be the only way to get him on the side of the resistance. and there's a giant turd monster! omg! ph34r teh brown light of dookie!

Naruto:
this comic focuses on.. you guessed it.. Rock Lee as a main character. not much to the story yet. it's going to be an on going thing. basicly Lee fights a mysterious enemy from the hidden Grass Village's Fayt Clan. the ninja gives him a deadly disease and runs. only the Ninja's body has the antidote. Lee begins his travels all over looking for this ninja to helping others with the disease while his own continues to spread. Meanwhile his friends set out to look for him having their own problems along the way.

also finished Twilight Princess. a great game... though i've gone back to being stuck on weither i like it or Ocarina better... i guess it dosn't really matter. they both rawk. also when you battle Zant... heh.. i don't wanna post any spoilers but it's probably the funniest boss fight in the history of gaming.

so i'd like to join a few clubs.. go some fan art and stuff i'd like to submit... maybe soon.

so like, I got Zelda Twilight Princess. i absolutly can't get enough of it! Ocarina of Time was the best game ever but i think this may rival it. i'll let you know...

- original comic (about 90% completed)
- pics for my students. (0/4 completed)
-a winter commission for (far from finished)
-Myo and Mistletoe pics with :iconextraindreamer: (1/5 completed)
-Naruto comic. (chapter 2 completed)
- Invader Zim comic. (complete; needs color)

well i'm pretty happy with my da page now. it's finally worth showing to people.

on a side note i want to see alot of movies right now but don't have the moolah. aw...

things i'm working on:

-a commission for some dude
-my sister's husband's in Iraq so i'm going to draw a picture of a soldier and an angel protecting him for the soldiers over there.
- an original comic that takes place before my story. it's to submit to different companies in hopes of getting hired to draw manga professionally
- pics for my students. my darling students were nice enough to draw me pictures of Rock Lee for Christmas! so i wanted to draw them pictures in return.
-a winter commission for :extriandreamer: she wanted some couples from our collaborated story.
-another collaboration with :extraindreamer: it's sort of a late Christmas thing. let's just say it's for next Christmas.
-Naruto comic. no hurry for this one, i'm doing it for fun. i may uplode it eventually.
- Invader Zim comic. This one's completed, i just would like to give it some color.
