School is almost done! I just have exams to write.... both on thursday, so I get the next two full days to stress like crazy. Woohoo.
I've done a bunch of art this semester because I had two art classes (Applied Design + Visual Arts), so once I get my work back there hopefully I'll have some new stuff to post. In visual arts we did a painting unit, and I absoloutely love it, despite all my complaining. Finger painting is even cooler
Well, not much else to report, just letting you all know I'm still alive. Sort of.

But I really should start drawing more stuff to start putting a portfolio together for next year.
So yeah. Life's been pretty up and down lately... but pretty good overall I suppose.

I should actually be in school today but..... I'm still in California 8D I'm visiting my dad who moved here back in September because of work. It's sooooo hot out here compared to Canada But I fly back tomorrow, and hopefully I'll get back on time unlike the flight out here which got majorly screwed up.

I was at fencing on Thursday, and left my bags, sweater, shoes, etc. in the equipment room like I usually do since I don't want to drag it around with me whenever I change rooms. I was one of the last people fencing, so when I get back to the room to get my stuff it's locked and I find out the dude with the key already left, and sinxce I carpool there was no time to go to information. So now all my stuff is at a certain university and I really need it for tomorrow, yet my coach hasn't been able to contact the coach dude Hopefully I get it back when I go down there myself, but it's not looknig too good.

AHHH, YOU THINK YOU'D NOTICE THE HEAP OF STUFF AND THINK "hmm... maybe someone's still here" not to mention you could see me from the hall :glare:

Atleast I have a full kit since that's what I was wearing, so I won't show up at camp tomorrow like a total loser, but I won't be able to take a bus since the only bag I have large enough to fit a foil is now locked up in a certain university.


Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Other than that, my summer since the ending of Reach Ahead has been totally boring. I saw the new Batman movie, which was AMAZING.

Yesterday at Japanese we had some people come in and demonstrate a tea ceremony to the japanese language classes. They picked 4 people to participate and i was one of them! And I got to wear a real KIMONO!! It was so pretty! :3 And had so many belts/sashes whatever they're called.
The tea ceremony was fun to but my legs were killing me after >.>;;; Watching us 4 get up must've been the most amusing part. Try getting up without being able to feel your feet, I don't know how they do it so gracefully.

On thursday I went and watched the Member's Preview for the play HiHo Robin Hood. It was good I did set painting and some construction for that play, that was really fun ^.^ I still have some paint on my knees that I can't get off though >.> The actual showing of the play starts on the 28th, and I'm going to see it with my dad, brother and cousin on the 28th and then do Front of house for the next 2 days.

Yesterday was the last day of school before the holidays. It was a half day, so we didn't do anything. In geo I ate sooo much sugar. XD School was over by 11:25. After the half day there was an assembly we could go to if we wanted to. The teacher's skit was hilarious they air guitared to the music video of "Dani California". They were each in groups and each group dressed like each era from the video, and then came on stage when their era showed on the giant screen. It was funny

Well, it's been a really long time since I updated I promise I'll upload a new drawing on the weekend!

High school's been really awesome. I love the classes alot more than my elementary school classes, EXPECIALLY MATH. It's alot more challenging than elementary school (bleh, that was way too easy). And gym is alot more fun, it's only us girls.
And I'm doing really well in all my subjects. i even got a "Good" in gym on my progress report! (anything above good probably would've been a miracle. And we've moved on from Football () to self-defense which is awesome!

<sub>First day of high school was today! It was a half day so school let out at noon. And they had so much paperwork we ended up not starting class until 9:45 We had 30 minute periods instead of the regular 75minute ones (tha'ts ging to be so long...). I managed to find all my classes ok, I only got lost once. Stupid math class doesn't have a visible room number I really like my math teacher so far. She seems nice. And she says we can listen to our mp3 players in class, eat and stuff like that Go Enriched Math All my other teachers seem ok too.
The school's so big though O_O Especially the gym. It's more than twice the size of the old one. And there's 32 others somewhere in the school. And YUS! >.< I get through gym this semester and then I never have to take it again

So tomorrow's my first full day of high school.</sub>

Well, this week has been fun. On monday I saw Accepted with some of my friends. It was good Kinda weird, but good. And then on tuesday I saw Talladega Nights with my cousin (who's visiting for a couple of weeks). It was funny!
And yesterday was orientation at my high school. We found out where our first class is, then we had and assembly. After that we went to our first class where the teacher talked and stuff and then we got to pick our lockers. Then we went and got our timetable and agendas. Then we got a tour of the school. The school's so BIG O_O But I think I've figured out where all my classes are for the first semester. After that there was a barbeque
My timetable for this year is

After the barbeque we went to the library, then I went to The Anime Stop with Maryanna, Ashley and Megan. That was awesome atleast for Ashley, Maryanna and I. Megan just kinda sat in the corner trying to read a manga (she doesn't like manga very much). Then we went to Gianni's house got kicked out after a while so we headed over to Maxwell's house with Ed, Max and Will. We played a Pokemon board game. That was.... interesting.

So, school starts in 5 days!!! I can't wait.

I dyed my hair today. Or rather, my mom dyed it and I just sat thare
It didn't work out very well though My hair looks almost exactly the same, except in the sunlight where it looks lighter than normal and sorta like I have highlights It's good that my mom didn't let me do anything drastic, since we probably would've messed up and turned my hair purple or something
But I like it.

Camp ended yesterday It was so much fun! This year we got to go in the cages with the lemurs and peacocks and petting zoo. i hauled so much water for those goats and donkeys >.> About 3 or 4 buckets a day. My arms hurt.
And we got to meet Sahara the cheetah! She's only about 7 months old, and so friendly! We got to pet her I didn't very many pictures, but i took some of her

And we got to meet so many other animals, but I didn't take any pictures

Well, today was my first day of camp. It was awesome! But I'm so tired now because I had to wake up at 5:45AM, be at Megan's by 7:00AM, then we had to take the city bus at quarter after for a 50mins-hour long ride to a shopping mall where a school bus took us to the camp But the camp itself was awesome We got to see all the new animals (they got baby cheetah's this year!!) we got our new t-shirts and hats and Megan and I scared everyone by being strange
There's some very strange people on buses...

1. I mostly post animeish drawings in my gallery, but my sketchbook is 40% realism (not great realism, but I'm getting better), 30% random objects, 20% anime and 10% other.
2. I want to be an animator when I grow up.
3. I'm terrible at drawing males, which is why my gallery is (almost) all girls.
4. If I see something interesting, I start drawing it in my head.
5. I love making up characters, but it's rare that they'll ever show up in more than 3 drawings.
6. I like photography and poetry too
8. I've taken art classes, but not many. 3 in total actually, A art summer camp, a cartooning class and I helped out with the grade 2 lunch art program and got lessns after school in return, along with my friend Kate.
7. Paints don't like me. Neither do pastels. They get EVERYWHERE except the paper.
9. ~Elani0Eats0Rice and I started a comic during school (I'LL HUNT YOU DOWN IN HIGH SCHOOL AND MAKE YOU FINISH IT WITH ME) that we want to turn into a webcomic. It's the most nonsense thing you'll ever read.
10. I don't like showing my sketchbook to poeple

These last few days have been so fun ^_^ On monday was Maxwell's Bday party so I got to see most of my friends again for the first time in a while. On tuesday I went shopping with Kate, Hilary and Megan. I bought volumes 3+4 of Ouran School Host Club (I'm becoming obsessed with that series ) and lotsa candy :3 Yesterday I saw You, Me & Dupree with Megan, Ashley, Edward and Maxwell. Strange movie... it was funny though. No one wanted to see Cars except Megan TT_TT
And now it's back to boring days at home... *sighs*
Only 1 month and 2 days until I start High School o___O

Yesterday I saw click and DaVinci Code with some friends. I didn't rally like Click it was funny and all but I mean... A story about a remote?
I liked DaVinci Code alot, it was a good movie and I liked that the facts were more (but still not all completly) accurate than the movie. But it was still a really good movie.

I hatehateHATE my computer right now. It's been acting all weird..... It takes forever to boot up, windows live messenger stopped letting ME log in (everyone lse in my family has successfully logged in after I made them try) and I had to uninstall it and reinstall messenger 7.5, windows media player isn't playing my songs properly (it keeps on buffering songs that I'm playing, songs that are saved to my computer) and now it deleted all my messages on DA and won't let me access userpages (I can load journals, deviations etc. just fine, it just won't let me access people's pages)
*big breath*
AAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
The internet's also being really slow, and it's normally pretty fast.
I swear, if it doesn't start acting properly somethings gonna get broke.

Let's start with the happy ^______^: We got report cards today..... and I got all A's except in gym, which I got a 72% (B) in. Plus... I GOT A 95% IN NUMBER SENSE AND NUMERATION. Our teachers NEVER give above 89%. Well, they did give someone a 90-something in french once, but that's because she went to a Quebec school and she's so far ahead of everyone
And we graduate tommorow!

Why I'm extremly pissed off: 1 of the guys in my class (my "friend") vandalized one of my drawings =_______=;; My art project none the less. They drew a mustache goatee amongst other crap on her. I'll kill them.
Ah well, they drew in pencil so I'll probably be able to salvage the drawing.
DAMMIT. Why do people do stuff like that.

I want an apology, but I doubt I'll get one.

Holy crapness. Only 3 more days of school until I'm done with elementary school. Forever o______O
On monday we get our report cards!!!!! *hyper* I think I'm one of the only people that acctually looks forward to getting their report card like people look forward to Christmas.... And we play a concert on monday too!!! The only bad thing is our art project is due. Our art teacher is the only teacher that's given us homework since we got back from Newfoundland Oh well. Atleast writing up a biography is easy.
And on tuesday we graduate
And on wednesday we get our yearbooks (I think my design got picked as the cover..... Since we didn't vote on anything and everyone says no one else entered. I'm not completly sure though.) and the we have the dance. Stupid grade 7's better bring in their money!!! I've been reminding them for 2 days now and not a signle one of them has brought in so much as a penny. And today ~ashisrofl and I have to go buy food. ALOT of food.

Our schools having this "artist in residence" contest for the grade 8 grads. The winner's art piece will be hung up in the school and they get a plaque. ONE OF MY PIECES MADE IT TO THE FINALS!!!!!! The winner is announced at the graduation ceremony. Zhenhe Wu's gonna win. In the words of ~Elani0Eats0Rice "NOBODY stands a chance now against her! *sobs in despair* but seriously, she's gonna take over the world without even trying O_O"
