So Doctor-Meowzie and I are Sakuno whores fangirls. And we spent a few days looking for Sakuno Ryuzaki fanclubs so that we could join and whore out our Sakuno fanart. And to our extreme horror there were none! So we came up with the idea to create one. But really, it was the result of one to many cups of coffee and Sakuno Fanfiction deficiency. But I digress.

Who is Sakuno? Well here's what Wikipedia says:

Sakuno is a fictional character from the anime and manga series Prince of Tennis. She is the granddaughter of Sumire Ryuzaki, the Seishun Academy Middle School (Seigaku) coach, and is the first person in Japan who had direct contact with Ryoma Echizen, therefore many fans consider her Ryoma's best friend outside of the Seigaku team.

Sakuno is a kind, clumsy and quiet girl with very long hair kept in twin braids, who almost always seems to worry about Ryoma and the others. She started playing tennis after she saw Ryoma playing, and her progress differs in the anime from the manga; in the anime her lack of skill is a recurring gag, while in the manga she's good enough to be seen as a promising player and even future regular (That's right people. Good enough to become a regular!)

So sorry for the delay, I've been busy with stuff.

By May 28, the submission of contest entries for the first ~Sakuno-FC contest has closed. We have a total of 11 entries in, and as early as now you can have a look at them all.

Unfortunately ~lubanimelife is still not around, but as soon as she does go OL we'll give further instructions about the voting procedures. For now, take a look at the contest entries while you wait. Sorry if anybody finds this inconvenient, your beloved mods are quite busy lately ^_^
