...Which probably means that I won't devote time to anything else, all my old projects will be abandoned and once again I shall spend a lot of money and energies to something that won't mean a thing to me in a couple of weeks, because I'm a pretty fickle kid.

Who likes to think about alien frogs a lot. That, and Zelda 64. I'm completely head over heels for Ocarina and Majora's just now.

Also, *Shakahnna, I haven't forgotten about our trade, seriously! I've been owing it to you for months now. But now that there's no school or anything to be worried about really, I'll be paying more attention to artses in general and it shall be done!

In QT-related notes, I'm writing my research project on his films (and analyzing them to the point of exhaustion, philosophical style), and a lot of my working time goes into that, so don't be surprised if I'm not very active in the Tarantinian fandom just now. Oh, you've got to love something a lot to do this, believe me!

The Theatre of Truths
I never run out of things to add to TOT, and although it has a beginning and an end, I’m really proud of it both as a story and as a pile of incoherent shit.
Out of my projects, I love it the most. I always end up thinking new things to add to it, new plots to follow, so I guess it will never actually be complete.

It’s centred about an art student, her imaginary best friend, her French serial killer girlfriend, the resident failed novelist and a crack-addicted religious mentalcase trying to save the world in a country ruled by a mad fascist Star Wars fanboy, his trapped-in-the-body-of-a-10-year-old-girl second in command, his hippie wife and his silent bodyguard, opposed only by a very sad press director who really needs better things to do. Sounds like the physical equivalent of a migraine yet? You’ve seen nothing. I like the gory parts best.

The Day of Night
A novel with a hundred sub-plots, based on the RPG me and Merjonic used to run. Not your typical battle for heaven, where angels are nutjobs who think they live in the medieval age, demons are a bunch of fascistic bastards stuck on early 40’s Germany and humans are the worst part of each, with vampires, és a dir, demons and angels who have been thrown away, also into the mix.

There’s a fickle truce between Heaven and Hell, but the murder of an angel while on an Earthly mission just about starts an undercover war between the trigger-happy and the peacefully insane. Beings of all kinds are involved and rocks fall in the end. A very playful nightmare. It also has S&M. I love it.

L.O.A.T.H.
aka Lily, Olivia, Amanda, Tania, Heinrich [And Their Multiple Tales Of Woe]. I developed this one early this summer, because inspiration just about hit me on my various trips. I have a bunch of sketches for it piled up somewhere. It builds from the very bad, very crack idea of what would happen if a fangirl somewhere paired two real people in a Real Person Fic and they found out. The people in question being metal veteran Amanda Stockholm and garage fantastic Tania Lennox. Unfortunately, I spent way too much time developing the side characters and the little details (the main character Olivia remains a cardboard cut-out, but I have the outfits for all five of Amanda’s band’s gigs designed) to really ever develop the plot properly.

Theatre of Life
It was the small vague webcomic idea which later evolved into TOT as we know it. But lately, I’ve been feeling like revamping the project, less as something serious (with proper characters, etc.) and more like short injokes.

SRS BIZ
It’s long. It’s very long, and it’s also very fragmented. There are a lot of characters in it, hardly any fictional, although I still have to make up my mind on that. I’m debating on whether I should have two characters as the focus, but that would sort of screw up the relationships. Part of it, although it’s not very clear where it will begin or end, is all well-elaborated in my head; I mostly have ideas of scenes with songs as the background music, because the soundtrack for this is a very important thing and has to be chosen carefully. For now, I think the ones I have thought of best are probably the I’ll Be There For You and the I Gotcha scenes. I also only have a three-page excerpt typed up, it’s called Starving. Unfortunately the story is going through some rough time just now, not many new ideas, and I’d rather see where it’s going before definitely writing it.

Maybe scratch Burning in Paradise out, because it looks terrible, and the three-four poems I've read from it had only a couple of good verses in them. But it's one of the older ones, I'm still interested in the Complete Poetic Works book. Signs of Life, too. I've read a couple of those and he's definitely improved, he's even turned a bit melodic.

Hey guys, look at me having criteria. For something I should be sold to instantly. What's the world come to?

I first heard about this nonsense in Jerome Charyn's Raised by Wolves, where he basically described Madsen as an emo. But it picked up my curiosity. It's actually just Charyn's commentary about one of the poems, one called Tuesday, which I haven't gotten around to reading yet, what makes me want to get the books so horribly. It's not in Burning in Paradise (I'm skeptical about it - there's actually people who have liked it. Maybe I should check it out).

There's absolutely no poem that I could ever like more than Robinson Jeffers' Return, though. I'm just in love with those verses.

I got approved to admin ~QTino! There's still a few things to sort out but hopefully I'm getting teh management powar in a wee bit of time.

I scanned a whole lot of stuff the other day but it got deleted. Which is why I hate my USB disc. My computer randomly phails. Which is why I hate it. In fact I may just hate everything now except Rammstein, QT and Hairspray. In fact I did spend 3 hours a day transcripting/translating/adapting a script for Hairspray which will end up not being used, so I think I hate that too. WHY IS SEPTEMBER NOT OVER YET

Exams are coming up soon/already. Physics and Maths and Chemistry are my new loves but Biology is horrifying (our teacher is rumoured to be a fossil herself) and languages are worse every time.

Me & Judit spent all of yesterday afternoon writing a long exposition about Uma. I gets overdose.

Updating ~wanna-play-doktor makes my day, so you little ingrates should start submitting stuff already.

I have been downloading tons of music, so if anybody wants to recommend anything, say so now or shathafackap. So, back is I! The week of my birthday was spent with my most amazing lady ~BreakingGodsHeart. Having her around again was the most wonderful thing in the world, she's great. Many revelations were made and life makes so much more sense now. There's not many other people I can share this much zombology knowledge with you see. And my dog loves her, although not nearly as much as I (or the people at the bus) do. Ah, 42. ^_^

I'm the slightest bit ill now, ear infection and irritated throat and whatnot. I'm also totally not under the effects of any type of pill which allows me to type this. ): See, the world stinks again.

But yesterday night was strangely productive for my FFnet account, which I hadn't updated in a long while. In half an hour or so I managed to prod a Mercedes from Pan's Labyrinth oneshot to existence. And I also fucking hate the DaVinci code, you know. And I hate my Silas kicks tiem pls.

Well, nobody should be expecting much from me from the 9th to the 16th, since I'm receiving the visit of a certain lovely lady ~BreakingGodsHeart, and every time that happens, I get a case of severely neglecting internet in favour of being chirpy and investigating the science of last Thursday. So I bid you all farewell and don't worry because I'm working on absolutely everything as we speak.

Including getting a new pen. That'd help lots.

August at last!

The contest over at WannaPlayDoktor is now in the judgingOMG stage. Pity, pity, pity...

I sketched a lot over at the UK and back in Germany, and have a whole lot of stuff to scan, mainly dealing with a new project which has been floating in my head for a while. One which will probably be tossed into the forever WIP pile along with The Day of Night, but which I'm pretty enthusiastic about. I do need to find a pen before I can upload anything, though, since I have sketches of mostly all major characters.

I've also decided to get off my lazy arse and upload something of the written variety in English. (Gasp.) It's not fully done yet, but the nonplot is there.

Exams went wonderfully. That's all you need to know.

Theatre play was completely the best thing ever. I am very very pleased.

I love rehearsing with Jium, they're the most brilliant band ever. We're meeting up every Saturday morning now and it's absolutely awesome. According to them, or half of them at least, I gots teh skillz0rz~, although every time I play in front of them it's like major nervousism but I have managed *not* to screw up for now.

Alex said he could set things up for us to play at some bar around Gràcia next week's Monday (it's a no life day around here apparently) but I don't know if I'm prepared to. It'll be the first time I play teh live with a band (Madrid with Ade doesn't count, nobody there knew me and I wasn't even actual part of the band). The lone thought makes me warm and fuzzy inside but zomg I dunno. I'm such a nerdy nerdy nerdy nerd.

Should probably go shopping now and buy myself summit to eat. Since I has not eaten. Because she's asleep. Wow, it had truly been a time, hadn’t it? So many things going on in just a month. Well, for starters, I got made admin at ~wanna-play-doktor, which is the absolutely bestest club ever and you should all go join now, and I’d like to have all kinds of things in store for that, so all members should keep an eye out for any update which may be going on in the next couple of weeks.

I paid for my first commission today! How cool is that? It’s for a gift because I’m pathetic, but I feel all wee and I could do this again anytime. After I get my hands on a couple other things. But yeah, it’s nice.

IRL life, as always, takes its toll when talking about updates. Just today, I got recruited by a certain band Jium (it’s just Hume spelt fancy really) as a “we need a keyboarder, get over here bitch” resource. They have the best bassist ever and it’s awesome, especially after the WhiCo disaster.

But next things which shall be uploaded here shouldn’t take long – all kinds of doodles related to the fourway and a new wonderful condition in it. Miyako is her, you all shall ph34r.

Feeling B. Oh, Feeling B. It’s my new little poison and I’m afraid I’m gonna have to spam this thing with chibis of that. I have been bouncing to the imaginary tune of Artig all day. It’s my new theme song for the more simplistic days in which normal things like getting mistaken for a terrorist victim and having your shit-filled bag stolen happen. Hea hoa hoa hea hea hoa~!

Oh my god.

My 4 days away were completely awesome. I'll write a long detailed entry in lj with picspam included past tomorrow (I don't have all the pictures), but seriously. O em gee.

I missed you all lots, though. But I got to see some interesting things at Madrid. For example, being the art nerd I am, the five minutes I spent staring dumbly at Picasso's "Guernica" were completely omg. I mean, the original, gods, and it's so different from the pictures and so much more powerful as well. Beautiful, beautiful.

Also, Segways. Segways and a squeeing Salem to go with them.

Very busy weekend. Very very busy weekend, don't expect much from me these days. And just before spring break, which makes me angry as fuck, but it's okay because there are only three weeks left today and on April 20th life will be beautiful.

It's time for a new journal, dare I say.

I scanned a whole lot of things today. But it’s mainly TOT stuffs and an unfinished trade, so there’s nothing really that anybody will be interested in, and I have the most awesome still-to-be-drawn R+ pictures ever. Many interesting things with hats and misc Flake sketches to prove my theory that he is in fact drunk in LAB. Absolutely everything tells me I’m right.

I’ve also been trying my hand at poetry. It’s cringe-worthy, for now, because my writing style changes completely because I’m *not* a poet, but I can’t help but to notice that it isn’t pieced-out regurgitated crap anymore. I have been writing something, actually, since I couldn’t sleep last night, and I very much would like one concrete person to read it, but rough ends to smooth blah blah blah usual not worth shite blah blah.

DA is behaving strangely. Guess who doesn’t like that.

HAY GUYS WHAT'S GOING ON IN HERE

Uploadage has been a wee bit scarce lately thanks to fucking semester finals. But you know what, you know what? That's all done now and for at least another week here, I may rest!

My arms are all sore, though. It's teh suck and I don't know why it happens. ): Ah well, minor drawback power.

It's been a bit weird over here lately. But beside much awaited mathematic shite, people coming and going all the time, and more "well, if by 'mischevious' you mean 'spastic' and by 'Prince' you mean 'monkey'..." types than I'd wish to have around, things are going quite well and if everything keeps up like this, I'll be able to take a break for now.
There was this man drawing in the bus yesterday, who I think might have been a professional comic artist, and I think he got a bit nervous and/or must have thought me very impolite because I couldn't stop staring at his hands. It sort of good my drawing mood back and I'm all eee happy now so it would be a good thing to do.

Little Miss Sunshine didn't get the Oscar ): Ah, well – they got more than Volver anyway. HAHA.
And Pan's Labyrinth is still among the most wonderful things ever, awarded 3 times and all.

SPANISH SPEAKERS PAAAAAAY ATTENTION and do direct your browsers to the bestest LOST RPG of which I'm the creator and co-admin of. Merju used to as well but she got bored and we have a rather charming young lady modding now. You can get your OCs in and everything. I play Desmond and a[nother] young man whose life is leik total Schaisse. He's based on Thomas Huber's character in one certain movie which better be coming out in US theathers March 2007, though, so what can you expect.

Have been writing lately. Is why I've been rather absent from here, I suspect – at the moment I'm working on two collabs and my own strange oneshot which refuses to be written. R+ stuffs, sort of. And then there's that whole Resident Evil deal where I still have to think up a character.

March is going to be SUCH a short month after everything being wonderful again. All is well!

So I find myself in midst of the second term exams just now. Woohoo! I've decided to focus from week to week and try to distribute my homework better from now on. I did a lot of work this afternoon, though, and was happy and ate well.

Eeee, so excited about the Oscars! I support Little Miss Sunshine for best picture and Pan's Labyrinth at, well - everything it's been nominated at! (For a change, probably odd coming from a Spanish girl, but I *don't* support Penélope Cruz. I hate her acting.)

I also put together a package of wonders which I'm hopefully sending out tomorrow. It has all the best things ever, but before sending it, I need to get a black inking pen. *nods* Subtle enough?

So something a bit more DA related - made some changes to my profile here.

No-life week! No-life week! *confetti abound*

My mark in that certain Technology exam sucked, but I got to be a scab for a day so it's ok.

Theatre of Truths character list is progressing, although I will have to upload all the pictures first, which is the hard thing. To be honest, the protagonists are the hardest things, because you can draw them so many different ways.

Annnd the cast just goes wider and wider...I remember those remote times where it was just Stray, Charlie, Christian and Tommy and they weren't even named that way. Very few characters remain from that time, but I will pay homage to it...someday, somehow.

I'm also getting the whole plot, if there's such a thing as that, [badly] written in MS word, complete with different chapters and character development OHNOZ.

All that, while having a new character in mind which sprung from a shiny new skit me and Merju had to write for Catalan class. He's a part-time priest who controls all the drugs traffic and has a wine store.
(: I rock.

Incidentally, that's also how my favourite TOT character came to be, but I'll stop rambling now.

1. One of the things that disgusts me the most are fishes out of water. I just think they're the vivid image of desperation and I find it nauseating.

2. Since about two years ago, I've had the biggest obsession with people's hands. They're the first thing I look to when I meet somebody, or even in art or fanart, they're easily the first body part I look to. For no real reason.
...Amanda and Flake have goregous hands you see : D

3. I say [the Spanish equivalent of] 'dude' many, many times. I also like the word 'whore' as a purely calificative adjective.

4. I rarely wear matching socks. Since my little brother is around, they all have disappeared FNAR.

5. I have the worst accent ever. My Spanish has a bit too much of Catalan, my Catalan sounds too Spanish, and my English has this strange mix of the two. Let's not go into other languages.

6. I've decided I'm definitely going to be like Gregory House when I grow up. : D Because I'm cool and sad like that.

What is the character you've drawn the most? (Can be original or fanart).
Fanart: Flake & Amanda are currently at the top position.
OCs: theatre of truths, mostly ze Colonel. [link] It's a bit ironic, since s/he is a bastard and I hate hir, but s/he's become a bit of a notebook mascot for me.

What colour do you often use?
Lately, purple, because my black pen ran out lawl. For the sketches of my Valentine's cards, I'm using this awesome dark blue shade.

Any colour you are bad at using?
I always mess up with those orangish yellows.

When drawing people, where do you start?
The eyes, it helps me situate everything expression-related, even if at first they're just two spheres. Usually followed by hair.

What is something only your eraser will love?
pr0n lol.

Which of your works took the longest time?
That I have uploaded here? I don't know, don't really keep track of that.

What techniques do you use when you want to improve in drawing?
Usually looking at my older drawings and/or at my influences, to see how they do it (the aspect I want to improve) and try to get it down from there.

What do you think of the art of the person who gave you this meme?
I'm torn about that person's work.

What art tools/media are you good with?
I'm quite good with pencils especially. I'm improving with pens and markers and tying to give photoshop a try.

Art tools/media you are bad at?
Anything other than that. D:

What do you think about your own art?
It depends on the piece, but overall I like the chibis and should learn to color.

Do you consult magazines for your drawings?
I would really like to, particularly the outfits. I usually just draw what people are wearing though.

What do you like about your art?
I draw the TOT characters with crappy pens and I really like some of their expressions. Like sometimes (good doc and Trystan come to mind) they're just exactly what I have in mind.

What habits do you have while drawing?
Chewing on my lower lip.

Are you good at drawing faces facing right?
It depends...the last realistic drawing I did (reise reise tour!flocka) had a quite himself expression and it made me smile and be scared that I'd mess it up with a pen. Then again sometimes I completely screw up the mouths, which are the source of all grief.

How frequently do you draw?
Every fucking time, and that's not good at all. If I get a little bit of free time, you'll find me drawing. My notes are full of small crappypen!drawings.

What do you do when you have artist's block?
I never have.

What must you have when you draw?
Pencil and paper, and even the later is sometimes optional. I can draw under mostly all conditions.

Do you have a lot of stray lines (messy line art)?
Lots of them in crappypen!drawings and pencil sketches, yeah, but they tend to go away when I ink them.

Typing as I wait to take over the scanner because it’s really been a busy/productive week. Those hardly go together, but I’ve managed to couple them.

Exams are going quite alright, except Maths, which like always has me going a bit more worried than the rest. The boys at my class are genius though and they always manage to get extra weeks from the teachers, so every week looks like it’s going to be completely packed when actually it turns out not to be that bad.

Beside R+ though, I’ve also been coquetting with the Rule of Rose fandom as of lately. If you’re a fan, I strongly suggest visiting the Filth Room forum, [link] full of the coolest kiddies in the fandom. It’s a must for any theory-discussing freak like me, the people there are completely wonderful, the censors are off and the fanfiction is sublime (be sure to check ~JinjoJess’ lab – for their motto speaketh truth). I’ll probably also be uploading something over there soon – Eleanor/Meg, Jennifer/Diana, and mermaid!Clara & Gregory one shots are in my future projects list.

That’s a bit on the late side for a new year’s post, so that’s one thing we will skip just because we can. It’s been a surprisingly active week about my DeviantArt and lol 20 deviations aint that bad for almost two years of really inactive membership.

As for the people who already requested – all done and waiting to be scanned in a nearby future. Is inking a must though, because my bestest pen died and I won’t get the chance to buy a new one until Friday, so it would take yet another week prolly, so if somebody wants theirs really badly I hope they don’t mind.

If there’s such a thing as too much Flake I suspect I might be bordering on it. Flake/Till cuteness is in order since I have a swell store of ideas of that variety, and of course there’s no OTP without an OT3 so Segway galore is on my upcoming list. And so is a bit of an interesting study about Flocka’s multiple hats. Lol yeah I find myself very funny.

And now for the real point of the entry and the much I need to say this...

I’m SO glad that I’ve taken a strong interest into drawing again and I must say that there are a few individuals to blame for that. The same individuals, mind you, that are to blame for me retaking even more things and being about the happiest thing ever right now; I’m so completely assured that I’m heading somewhere entirely different, new and really really clear with my life that is completely filled with hope and exempt of all the old worries so that might have something to do with it. FYI, and now this is just random rambling but [link] I now see that this is a bit of a let us sever boundaries with a few of my life’s subplots that I do NOT want to have anything to do with anymore, at least not like I used to.

Changes have been made here inside lately, people, and the symptoms of that crisis I hadn’t really been able to shake out since last June are gone. Being bitter is over, there’s the whole world to fuck with and I feel so completely free it’s wonderful!

The closest thing I can really compare it to is a Friday night.

And now for something completely different…
Projects! Since they are a lot of what anybody who steps here will be constantly seeing from next week on (hurrah for exams being over!).
Contrary to popular belief, I do have some of those going on; I'm just incredibly lazy when it comes to talking about them. Currently, though, there are three which I want to take further by all means, and they are:

The Lost Days... is my ongoing Resident Evil fanfic (only written in Spanish, as of now) which I'm obsessed with. Centered around, mostly but not exclusively, Ada Wong and Annette Birkin, featuring a cast of crazy OCs, granted to pop up every now and then.

The Day of Night... a novel with a hundred sub-plots, based on the RPG me and Merjonic used to run. A supernatural theme in which angels are nutjobs who think they live in the medieval age, demons are a bunch of fascistic bastards, vampires are scraps and humans are like all of this but worse. I love it.

Theatre of Truths... an art student, a failed novelist, a masochistic religious fanatic and a serial killer mind their saving the world business in a country ruled by a mad fascist Star Wars fanboy, his trapped-in-the-body-of-a-10-year-old-girl second in command, and his hippie wife, opposed only by a very sad press director. There's also an underground mafia of dudes that pay to kill dudes which is about to get uncovered by two naïve teenagers, a Soviet who pops up every now and then because salads are good, the commander of a concentration camp who's obsessed with violins and a luthier who is not at all an undercover English pilot.
The basic "plot" builds up from there, I think.
