How you has career as a photographer started?

I come from an artistic family and always expressive busy . As a child I Draw many animals and that is proceed in the Photography. From my 16th year I photographed already with a mirror reflex and sent in I photograph for competions. In 1978, Paul Huf designated of my photograph as photograph Winner in the Netherlands Harold a journal of the KLM. This has stimulated me further to go on with photography. I bought several objectives and acquired inspiration in the National Geographic. Beginning of the eighty finished more and more of my photograph at photograph competions in the highest categories. Particularly in the booklet `Grasduinen' more and more publications came, but later came by means of reserve offices also international publications. End years ninety got I moreover a number of large tasks among which looks after a collectie for the offices of KLM in Paris and Milaan. I learn my self to photograph and look at being much knowledge on by complete good and critical for yourself. from 2004 I am ambassador of Canon the Netherlands for the branch naturephotography .

" From where the choice the genre nature photography?

I have had always interest and I consider it as a challenge certain fix subjects of this in a good manner. In daily living I am beside photographer more over teacher biology! The skills of instructing come me well of just in the workshops which I give among other things for Canon. My preference lies in photographing animals and then finds I it particularly interesting to fix action, interaction and behaviour of these animals. A photograph of a bird in action is much more interesting than a photograph of a bird which only sits on a branch. If I make a reportage concerning a certain area, I leave both the animals and the surroundings in which they live. In such a reportage I try forge an entity between the different subjects. there a lot of, but an example is which of a sea eagle in the Oderdelta in Poland. These birds fly behind the fisherman boats to have one's eye on the food. I was there already three days behind a boat and up to on the fourth and last day of the prerecordings I had only still the backs of the sea eagles. The wind direction and the light were very unfavourable those days. During last attempt came fly an eagle right in my picture. I asked the captain sail a bit to the back and got the eagle exact well in my seeker. In a fraction of a second you make a number of prerecordings. Ouwehands zoo(ZOO Rhenen)

I was there on a saturday and I can tell it is hartbreaking to see a mother bear that tried to make here cub respond.

Ihave see here a life and i went away for 10 minutes and she was gone

What I have heard from other people

huggies dragded there own young in to the water.But swimmer could swim.

the reason that she could swim.I think that she was too small and also do not develops enough muscles and maybe the fatpercentage was to low.she was very very small.

What I have seen

after the dead of swimmer.huggies dragged here cub for about 15 minutes.she tried several things to make swimmer respond to here contact.from nose contact to paw contact also to jump beside here like the do to hunt for seals.sadly she was already gone.Also the little brother walker follow the example of his mother.

Tuesday

Swimmer and its twin brother Walker had came last Tuesday for the first time outside.

SATURDAY


The direction of the zoo suspects that Swimmer is drowned, but entirely certain it is that not.

Visitors communicated Saturday at the end of the morning that Swimmer lay dead on the side of the water, after she had been obtained by its mother out the water.

SUNDAY

Today in the morning the zookeeprs lead huggies away from swimmer.And they took her away.The body will be send to utrecht to know what realy happend and find the reason wy swimmer was so small and if she had also other problems.

On Monday they send swimmer to Utrecht to do section on Swimmer. It was already striking how much smaller Swimmer, probably a female , then Walker, probably a male. Swimmer weighed four kilos, Walker ten.
