Anyway. I have a job now, and it's eating my sanity. Or whatever semblance of sanity I have left. On the bright side, I finally got things set with USC, so I'm all ready to transfer there in time for the Fall '10 semester. I'm excited to go to a "real" college, as opposed to community, which I refuse to believe is real college.

Can't wait for the spring to get here so I can go back to my hometown and visit with all my friends. I've really been missing them a lot lately D:>

I threw out my back again this week, so I've got a bunch of Chiropractor appointments lined up for the next few days; hopefully that should help. He told me part of the reason my back keeps hurting is because my boobs are big LOL And my posture sucks, but I've never been good at standing up straight, haha.

I feel like I'm ranting off into tl;dr territory right about now, so I'll shut up for the time being. I hope to get a few sketch dumps up soonish, so look for that...

Pointless journal entry is pointless 8D

Halloween is this Saturday, so that's pretty spiffy. I'm gonna be the Mad Hatter and trick-or-treat like the mature adult that I am (not). I'm also going to paint Gurren Lagann on my pumpkin if it kills me.

I've been talking about Otakon a lot lately, despite it being countless months away; this year's JUST ended like what, two months ago? xD Everytime I think about it, I can't remember exactly who I want to cosplay. I know I'm definitely going to be Grell from Kuroshitsuji, but the other days are up in the air. I may get talked into a Hetalia cosplay, despite my neutral feelings for the show

I seriously need to find a guy who lives near me who cosplays because some of the characters I want to try sort of NEED a male companion to work :/ So frustrating. A friend who can sew and would be willing to help my sorry butt learn how to make costumes would be greatly appreciated as well...

Also I want to cosplay Yu-Gi-Oh. Badly.

I started playing 'Days' not expecting a whole lot. Almost all of the reviews I had read about the game were negative, especially concerning the new character, Xion. While I'm not very far into the game (only on day 90 something) I have yet to find any severely annoying faults with Xion, besides the annoyance with Square for needlessly adding another Organization member. She hasn't exhibited any mary-sue-like qualities as of where I'm at currently, and she fits in very well with the Organization. She's non intrusive, quiet, and reserved. She's actually annoyed me less than Roxas has xD

So, we'll see how this goes. Prove those reviews wrong, Xion! Don't be a sue! (please?)

Gameplay is pretty simple, button masher attacks as per usual with the KH series. A couple of things I really didn't like: the item grid. Wtf, Square. Didn't you get enough hate back with the card system in COM? It's confusing and stupid; I would have MUCH rather had a basic inventory like the first and second games used. Also not a fan of the limited use of the touch screen. I'm finding my thumb is getting reeeeally tired of mashing that directional button. Some touch screen action ( Ex: 'The World Ends with You' ) would have been an excellent way to include the DS's touch features. (which is used so infrequently, I'm wondering why they chose to release the game for DS in the first place)

The plot is...nonexistent so far. The first few hours of game-play are strictly busy work time. You're assigned mission after mindlessly boring mission with bits and pieces of unvoiced cut scenes thrown in to keep you just sane enough to think something better HAS to be coming soon. I know there's a plot in here somewhere...

As of right now, I'm bashing myself in the head for not waiting a week or so and just buying the game used. Sooooo not worth the $37 -___-


So...tl;dr? xD Should I find that anything needs to updated as I play more of the game, I'll update.

And no, I'm not still "eager". Amazing fantastic fabulous dA is bugged up again. Joy. At least some things never change xD

I'm extremely angry at the fact that Atlanta is one of the hardest cities to get into at any given time. I talked to my dad (who travels frequently) about how hard it might be for me to drive myself and a few friends to Atlanta for the weekend for AWA, but apparently that ride should not be attempted by anyone who has less than 5 years of driving experience (with at least 2 1/2 of city driving).

Epic fail.

Also there's the fact that I still don't have a job and therefore couldn't go ANYWAY...but still.

I started seriously (lol) drawing when I was around 13. I lol at my "seriously" because that was when I discovered anime and began working towards a specific anime-esq style.

◆Which hand do you use for drawing?
I'm right handed when I draw or write, but I'm noticing I'm starting to become ambidextrous with everything else.

◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Male, hands down. I draw them way more than females, so I guess I'm more used to drawing them. Whenever I try to draw girls I always end up trying to follow my guy-d lines. ...GET IT?? GUIDE-GUY'D LINES?? (LOL -shot- )
◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
I tend to have an easier time drawing long hair, which is an issue for me since I draw a lot of guys. I am practicing short hair, but I find it really boring since there isn't a lot you can do with it style wise...

◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
To the left, but I can manage to the right as well.

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Side view. Even when I'm TRYING to make it a front view it turns into a profile!

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Like, everything XD I'm horrible at perspective, anatomy, and making my characters look unique D: I also can't do backgrounds or objects.

◆What do you like to draw?
Dudes 8D

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
I really don't have a clue. I prefer sketching and inking traditionally because I feel like I have more control with a real pencil as opposed to my tablet pen. But then I mostly always do touch up and color with my tablet and photoshop. So a mixture of both I guess?

◆Where do you start drawing from?
The eyes. My friends tell me that why I have problems drawing face shapes as well as the rest of the body, but I can't get things to look right if I start anywhere else!

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I always end up with pencil smeared on the side of my hand from wiping it through the lines constantly. I call it my 'Artist Mark' and I'm pretty sure the skin there is stained by graphite cause it always looks kinda gray

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
Light colors first, always. And scan things before you color them. That way if you decide you hate the way you colored it, you can print another copy of the line art and start over

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
I can't get up and leave in the middle of drawing, so I tend to have pretty fast times for finishing things. A line art usually takes me anywhere between 30 min to and hour and a half. Coloring with photoshop takes another hour or so.

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
Whatever I have on my playlist at the time lol I do like to have music that sort of pertains to what I'm drawing too....

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
A LONG TIME. I hardly ever have real inspiration D:

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
Mech. pencil, though I hate that the erasers wear out so fast D:>

◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
I guess red, since all my red markers are dead XD

◆Your favorite style(s)?
I really like Dreamworks and Disney styled cartoons. Like a lot. I wish I could emulate them >< I also really like edgy bold comic styles

◆What kind of artist are you aiming for?
Someone with a style that doesn't have a name. Right now, my style is very heavily anime influenced and I know people judge me based on that. I'm not going to lie, I enjoy anime and the style a lot, but I know no one will take me seriously as an artist until I stop drawing eyes that take up 50% of the head.

It was on its like, 13th filler arc, so I almost decided to not even bother. Something made me watch that whole episode though, and this filler's plot is actually way better than the actual story's plot xD Got me hooked anyway. So today, I watched the most recent episode. And I screamed in fangirly joy so loud that my dogs ran under the couch (and are still there now) and my neighbors are probably pretty freaked out. Anywho who knows me can figure out the source of my fangirly joy so I can easily avoid any blatant spoilers. But seriously. Even if you've been ignoring Bleach since the ridiculous Hueco Mundo arc started like I have, if you've even been a fan of Bleach, go watch the most recent filler story. It's so full of win I may actually get a heart attack next episode.

Back from Pennsylvannia Amazing Fantastic Land, aka NOT THE SOUTH. I had an absolutely fabulous time, despite getting rained on whilst at Dorney Park. It was great getting to see and again, since I haven't really gotten to hang with them since I moved to failure world almost a year ago. (Ew, has it really almost been a year???)

So now I'm back in the land of fail and suffering from my first headache in a few weeks. I felt amazing the entire time I was in PA and, suprise suprise, I feel like shit again now that I'm back in SC. Of course no one understands that corelation but me.

And OMFG WHOOPIE. My computer seems to have magically aquired itself a shiny new virus that demands I restart my computer every two seconds. JOYOUS JOY. *skull crack*

College starts next week. I dunno how that's gonna go down, but I'm glad for the 3 days a week I only have one class. Still dunno how I'm getting my ass across the campus in 10 minutes though.

Got back from Otakon sunday night and still feeling exhausted from it. I guess being that excited for a whole weekend coupled with the unusual (for me) amounts of physical activity really wore me out this year. I must be getting feeble in my old age

Anyway, I personally didn't rank this year among the top years Otakon has had that I've attended. I was really looking forward to seeing Hyde and Becca, neither of which I was able to get to, due to time / travel issues... Of course I understand with today's craptastic economy and anime's failing health in America, Otakon, and others like it, are bound to suffer some big blows. It was nice to see so many people turn out for it, though.

Overall, I was pleased with this year. I brought along and my younger sister, neither of whom are anime fans, and it seemed as if they both had at least a bit of fun. Blade got herself some shiny new prints and my sister brought home a ginea pig / fish / cow plush...thing.

I got my hands on lots of prints and posters; now it's time to update my room to my current obsessions, being Gurren Lagann and Kuroshitsuji.

On to more boring subjects,
I'm job hunting again, as Otakon (among other things) has almost completely cleared out my bank account and I'm starting college August 24. I need a lap top and some spending money to keep me sane. I'm really hoping for a job at Gamestop. That would be awesome.

I also learned how to make those origami stars today. Anyone know a good site I can order the paper off of cheap? Cause cutting those strips out is murder...

I'm 18 now, I need to start acting like an adult. Insted of enacting a scheme that really never had much potential to work out anyway, I should have examined it more realisticly before I went ahead and made preliminary plans.

Things don't always work out, and no one is going to hold my hand and make things better anymore. Times are tough, which means I've got to learn to be tougher. I'm going to rearrange my priorities and figure out the difference between what I really want and what I really need, and what I really just need to let go of (for now).

-- I used to be very into Rurouni Kenshin, hence the samurai part. And I'm female, hence the gurl part. Gurl is spelled with a 'u' because there was already a SamuraiGirl here on dA when I joined.

-- Rurouni Kenshin and Kingdom Hearts were the two big ones. I was still in my infant n00b fangirl phase then and I really can't recall most of what went on in those years. This week I watched a few new exciting shows, two of which are anime and one is something new for me. I started watching Supernatural, thanks to for showing me, and I love it. I've only seen the first few episodes, but its chillingly interesting and Sam and Dean are smextastic >3

Onto the anime.

I've started following 'Earl and Fairy' and 'Kuroshitsuji'. It seems I've discovered a liking for anime set in the victorian age in england xDD

Kuroshitsuji is very amazing, both the anime and the manga. The art is beautiful and the characters are intriging and wonderful.

Earl and Fairy is more cutesy and shoujo than Kuro, but has its own unique quirks that make it fun to watch despite its lack of much action.

MOVING ON...TO MOVING!

My parents bought a house this weekend in South Carolina due to the fact that my current house sold last weekend. We'll be moving down there around the end of Jan. Am I excited? Honestly? Yeah, I am. People have come to expect me to say something like "I can't believe they're making me go!" and "Hey, lemme stay with you!" but I'm actually excited for this change of scenery. I've lived in my current town for about 9 years and I think I'm ready for something new.

I'm gonna miss all my friends and my school, but this is senior year. We were all going to have to seperate eventually, it just came a little early for one of us. ~theAnimegirl22 said she might be attending NCU, so she might be able to come visit me sometimes ^^ That's a good thing!

In other news not related totally to me...
~Bladewyvern and I are doing a Hibird dress up project. Basically just drawing Hibirds in some different outfits, pretending to be awesome people. Go check out her gallery, she did a Kamina!bird and its freaking adorable and epic and WIN.

First day of my senior year today. Not exactly as glamorous as I thought it would be.

Here's my list of woes:

1. No AC in any of my classrooms.
2. All my teachers are a bit on the crazy side. (not nessisarily a bad thing)
3. No friends in any of my classes.
4. To make the no AC matter worse, my VHS class is in the teeny tiny computer lab that, along without AC, doesn't have windows and has about 30+ computers on at once.



Other than that, I'm happy. My classes look alright, I'm actually talking to some new people and ~theAnimegirl22 is in my lunch.

Just an invisble update, due to the fact that I feel like ranting and no one actually cares xD

School starts next tuesday. I'm torn between being excited and dreading it. Sure, I'll have something to do everyday, but I'm not too thrilled with the getting up at 6 AM part. I'm also not thrilled with having two honors classes plus my virtual high school class all in the same semester *death*

Plus no one I know has any classes with me yet D: (Well, except for ~Buxx-San, who has math with me second semester)

Moving on from the school stuff...

I still don't have a job. I'm pretty much desperate at this point, even going as far as to consider applying at the other grocery store down the street from the one I left.

To end, I have a migrane in the left side of my head and it bugs me to no end when people IM me expecting me to answer while I clearly have an away message up.

Another year, another Otakon.

Let's go through my weekend, shall we?

Friday: Slept over ~Buxx-San's house Thursday night and woke up around 8. We left around 8:30 to pick up Buxx's friend and his mom and then we were off. The ride itself wasn't bad. Only took us about 1 1/2 hours.

When we got there, we ate lunch in a bus center and then changed into the outfits we would be wearing that day. That put us at about 12 noon.

Then we waited for the shuttle bus to take us into the harbor, as our hotel was a few miles out this year. Bus was late, made it to the harbor about 1:30.

Stood in the pre-reg line for about half an hour. It moved pretty fast for an Otakon line.

It was already too late to get to the GaiaOnline pannel we wanted to see, so we meandered around the convention center for a while and did a little shopping in the dealer's room. (I ended up being really bitchy because my costume was a bit uncomfortable. I changed into a t-shirt in the bathroom)

We then met up with the adults and ate at the Hard Rock Cafe` which is a little on the expensive side, but had amazing food. Hicory smoked BBQ chicken...mmm.

Then we headed back to the hotel.

Saturday: I was sick. All freaking day. I hate my life. End of story.

(I did get to go to the con briefly late Saturday afternoon, but the dealer's room closed early for some reason D: )

Sunday: No con. Left Baltimore right after breakfast and got back home around 12:30 and had myself a corned beef sandwitch.

Sg's weekend personal fun-ness rating for Otakon '08: 4/10. Because I was sick Saturday and ruined it for myself and ended up with blisters the size of Canada from wearing sandals that were too small. I did manage to buy a few things, including a very cool Axel play-figure and a nice Rukia poster.

I think I got sick off the air conditioner. *grumbles incoheriently*

Next year will have to be insanely fun to make up for this one. Hear that Otakon staff?? I DEMAND an uber amazing con next year!

I got sunburned despite my best efforts to avoid it.

I went to the pool today with ~Bladewyvern. It took a while to coax me into the water (I hate cold water) but eventually I got in.

I was wearing lots of sunblock and even reapplied the stupid stuff, but...alas. I look like a drunken anime character once again *epic fail*

Aaaand now for something else.

Unfortionatly, ~GoddessRa will not be able to come with us to Otakon this year. Leaving me to fend for myself with my two male companions D: Halpplz?

I ordered my wig last night. I ended up getting the one that has uneven bangs (or an uneven 'fringe' as you europeans call 'em...) but the nice part is the wig site said they're easily trimmed ^^

I also asked for a quote from the site I'm ordering my ears from. They custom make all their orders, so I'll have to wait a bit for the info to come back on those *hates waiting*

Now all I need to do is find a lot of red body paint. Oh, and annoy the crap out of ~Buxx-San until he asks his neighbor about helping me out with my actual costume.

Anyway, to the point of this journal.

I've been attending Otakon for two years. It's something I really enjoyed and looked forward to all year since my first one back in '06. But that was back when people were more reliable, money was easier to come by, and my life wasn't as hectic as it is now.

Bottom line: I'm having second thoughts about going to Otakon this year.

Sure, I love it. It's a great experience for any anime fan and something I wouldn't give up very easily. But the more I think about it, the cons outweight the pros.

Work is ridiculous for me. I'm not used to working long shifts (heres me, working 8 hours a week) and my boss expects about 35 a week now that I'm out of school. I just can't handle that. I'm the first one to admit it; I'm fecking LAZY. I HATE being on a schedual and being requirred to perform tasks at a certain pace. I just can't deal with it.

Besides that, I'd need to take those hours in order to have the money to afford all the costs of going to the convention. That means throwing my whole summer vacation down the toilet as I work in that godforsaken grocery store where I'm constanly harrassed by my higher ups.

All for two days. 48 hours. A whole summer for two stinking days. As much as I really love Otakon, it just doesn't seem worth it anymore.

And after all is said and done, I'd be left with an empty bank account my senior year. That means a continued heavy work schedual to make up for emptying my account at the convention. No car. No going out with friends. Nope. Nadda. Not happening.

Am I really willing to compromise my sanity as well as my financial security for one convention...?

In other school related news, I'm officially a senior when school lets out friday at 11:30. Its kind of a weird feeling, knowing you only have one more year of highschool and then its college and the rest of your life. Actually, forget weird, its just plain scary.

Only a few more weeks of school, thankyougod. Now all I have to do is survive 'till the end. My freaking world cultures teacher is failing me at the moment. Excuse me while I go explode.

Math grades dropped as well, though not enough for me to freak out much. I hate weighted grades D:

ACT's are also coming up next month. God, am I already taking college entrance exams?! I don't wanna grow up DDDD: (I need a scholarship or two...or five)

Work fails. I hate it there but I can't quit just yet. They pay me well for how little I end up working, which is somewhere between 4-6 hours a week *death* I really need to work more hours if I think I'm getting any cosplay done for otakon this year...but I hate it there so much D:

Any tips on beating the "I hate going to work" blues? I can't keep getting depressed to the point of physical illness every time I have to go in...thats probably not good for my health 9__9

Well, I don't know many teenagers with silver hair so I would guess a lot of stares. He'd probably get made fun of too...


2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
Define normal. Everyone in the town he lives in knows him pretty well so I guess they consider him normal. He IS a bit quirky, though.

3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
His asian facial features that clash with his blue eyes and silver hair. He's such a mutt <3

4) Would you consider your OC as attractive?
I think he's adorable <3 And when he decideds to play up his manlyness, one might say he's hot.

Personality

1) Temper?
Not a bad one. He's usually a very easy going and calm person but he can get rather vicious when he's mad. (That usually ends with him crying though, so I guess that doesn't count xD )

2) Does your character ever get depressed?
More than he should, I think. He's a naturally happy person but the people he hangs out with seem to bring him down. I designed him origianlly as a happy character who smiles a lot, but he hasn't smiled in a while...

3) Leader or Follower?
As much as a really hate followers, I would have to say Ka is one for the most part. He goes along with a lot of what his friends are doing, regardless of the outcome he KNOWS is gonna be bad. He's afraid of being left alone so he just rolls with it.

4) What is the main aspect(s) of his/her personality?
He comes across as shy and a little apathetic, but he really is a sweety. He has a big heart and can't stand liars and cheaters. (So why is he still with Keitai?! I don't know )

History

1) Did your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
Yep.
Mom - Tawny, who was based off my mom a lot without me realising it at first xD She's protective and loving without being suffocating. She can't cook to save her life.
Dad - Dr. Jin Ongaku, a doctor, obviously. He's easy going and a little lazy. He just arrived home after being in Germany for a number of years with his oldest son. He runs a small clinic in town.
Kalidos 'Kal'- Oldest brother, protective of Kadou but disgusises it as regular annoying older brother antics. He and Ka used to be very close as children but were seperated for a long time when their parents were forced to live away from each other due to Tawny's dangerous Mob connections >___>

2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
No way! He loves his family to death and would probably just curl up in a corner and die without them. He lives in above the small cafe` his mom runs with the rest of the family.

3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
He was sexually assaulted when he was 16 and he's been a little paranoid and anxious about romantic relationships since. He's also scared his dad and brother will vanish again, like what happened when he was younger.

4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
While it makes so sense to me, probably meeting his boy friend, Keitai. As much as that boy irks me to no end, Ka really seems attached to him.

1) Single?
No, he has a troublesome boy friend named Keitai (see ~theAnimegirl22's gallery )

He seems to really like Keitai despite all the crap he has to put up with. I'm sure Ka's idea of a 'romantic relationship' is light years away from Kei's. But if you're asking if they've done 'the naughty', then yes.

As I'm sure =budgie and the rest of the Art Gods have already informed you of, there is a new bill being proposed by the US congress. ( Please see [link] for more info )

It's called 'Orphan Works' and, if passed, will basically legalize art theft.

Long story short: The 'Orphan Works' bill states that any work that is posted publically (AKA here on dA and all the other art sites) is up for grabs by anyone. Anyone can come into your galleries, take what they want, and get away with it.

Without a copyright, which costs money, for everything you decide to post, your art is just asking to be stolen and used for someone else's benefit. And guess what?

It'll be legal.

Guess what else?

Sometimes, even buying a copyright won't help you.

An OC design can be taken and messed around with.
Legally.

A photo you post just for fun of your and your friends goofing off can be taken and used for anything advertising companies want to use it for.
Legally.

I seriously don't even know what to think. I've known for a while that this country has been in a downward spiral, but I didn't think things would get this bad this quick.

I've taken the time to do more research on the 'Orphan Works' thing and have come to a conclusion. Its not as bad as a lot of people were making it seem: I jumped to conclusions and panicked like the majority of dA without giving the issue a through look.

However, while the truth about the 'Orphan Works' bill is much milder than I originally assumed, I still don't think its a good idea.

Orphan Works = Still not a good idea. I really don't see much good coming out of it, but at least I have the knowledge that my works as well as the majority of other artists here on dA are safe...for now.

My preordered copy FINALLY came in the mail yesterday and I am a happy camper :3

It is seriously the best game Squeenix has released since Kingdom Hearts 2.

The PSP format is a bit hard to get used to at first (its a little gawky and hard to hold) but the game is anything but a dud. The game play is free range, thank God. I've realised I basically HATE turn based...

The animation is top notch as well. The game features those drool inducing CG Advent Children-esque cut scenes we've come to know and love from the Final Fantasy series. And just because the screen is smaller doesn't mean the quality is.

No quality was sacrifised in the making of this game. I was practically in tears with how goregous some of the scenes are.

And the characters are equally amazing.

We're all familiar with the FFVII crew, right? The original blonde emo, Cloud. The annoying flower girl, Aerith. The super amazing Turks, Reno, Rude, ect.

They all make appearances in Crisis Core, along with a few little known faces. Zack Fair, the hottie we see at the end of Advent Children and in in the animated FFVII episodes, is the main character and DEAR GOD is he fun.

I won't spoil anything, don't worry, but if you don't happen to own a PSP, THEN WHAT HELL ARE YOU DOING SITTING HERE READING THIS!? GO GET ONE, FOOL D:<

~FFVII:Crisis Core ratings~
Soundtrack: 8/10 - The music is amazingly well done, though I recommend using headphones on the PSP as its speaking system is a little weak. There are also a few parts where the music gets a little repetitive and annoying.

Graphics: 10/10 - Not only was I pleasantly suprized to see the awesome CG graphics, but the actual game play graphics are nothing to sneeze at!

Game Play:8/10 - I would have liked to have more control over the Limit Break attacks; those are your best weapons against strong foes. However I did like watching Zach excute them perfectly without me messing up :3 The materia system is a bit confusing and your weapon only chages once which is a little disappointing as well.

Voice acting: 10/10 - Woooo original voice actors! I was a happy fangirl when I saw Reno was still voiced by Quinton Flynn <3 The quality is great, once again, use headphones though.

Overall: 9.5/10 - Crisis Core is a MUST HAVE for anyone who is a Final Fantasy fan. Any questions you've ever had about the happenings in FFVII are answered and you get a whole new insight into the inner workings of Shinra Corp. and SOLDIER.

Well that was fun while it lasted! MUDKIP.

I ordered FFVII: Crisis Core last week and it STILL HASN'T COME D:< Don't order things from BestBuy, guys, they suck.

I have PSSA testing all this week. Epic fail. Oh well... I found out they weren't telling us we could just test out of the remediation if we get put there because of bad scores. Haha. Home freeeee~ Mind you, I'm only really worried about Math because its on things I didn't have the pleasure of learning.

Our lovely school district decided that halfway through last year would be an excellent time to switch our math ciriculum around. So half of us know one type of math, and the other knows a different kind. Great. So we're all going to fail the test.

(For those outside of PA, the PSSA is our state assessment where good Ol' Big Brother checks our progess as a school district. If we don't do well, we get punished and don't get our allowence D: )

Like I care.

Unfourtionatly, the schools now punish the students if we don't do well. People like me wanted to fail on purpose to protest "The Man's Test", but now they take away your senior priveleges and force you to take a retard class insted of an elective class.

SO.

Huh.

We get half days this week. Can't wait for Thursday. The RO team gets to squish into a closet for two hours :3

My birthday was a few days ago, the 6th, and I got a lot of very awesome things from very awesome people...which I will now list :3

got me a Gaia Cash Card, almost entirely spent now xD The first four episodes of Trinity Blood on DVD, ahhh so pretty *drools over Abel's pretty hair* I also got the first volume of 'Aoi House: In Love' which is basically the greatest telling of a bunch of college Yaoi fangirls who get two guys to move into their dorm. 'Mazing. And last, but CERTAINLY not least, he got me a new black felt nib for my tablet pen ^0^ Now I can draw again!

drew me a goregous sketch of my Gaia Avi, now changed, but the drawing is still amazing *admires it* Aaaand, she got me the ultra super amazing Devil May Cry games 1-3 <333 Danteeeeeeeeeeeee *drool*

got me an issue of NewType magazine, which is quite possibly the coolest magazine ever published. Plus it has Dante on the cover. *more drool*

And an honorable mention goes to Eve, who doesn't have a dA, but got me D. Grey-man volume 8 <3

And I went ahead and bought myself Soul Caliber 3 and Absolute Boyfriend volumes 1-3 <333 Oh, and a shirt with a dinosaur on it :3

Awesome birthday overall, hopefully next year will be just as nice, even thought I'll most likely be living in a different state by then ;__;

ANYWHO
I need Spring Break now, please. Ah well, hopefully my brain can go one more day...then its off to Grandma's to go shoe shopping with my sister xD
And then maybe to the mall and Target, so I can buy another Gaia card xDDDD

Some of you may have noticed I've been gone for a couple weeks. I was so nicely grounded from the computer by my lovely mother (on my birthday, no less >< ) and just recently got it back. I hope to update soon, I did this really cool drawing of IchiRuki...ah well, you'll find out when I post it ;3

I'm talk'n 'bout Zombie Powder.

I've been a huge Bleach fan for a long time now, and when I found out Kubo did another manga, before Bleach, I was curious.

My friends all read it before me and sang its praises.

So today I finally found some scans and read all four volumes.

And ya know what?

Kubo is getting some angry mail from me.

WHY?! WHY DID YOU STOP?! I WANT TO SEE WHATS UP WITH GAMMA'S WEIRD PAST! I WANT TO SEE IF EMILIO'S OPERATION WAS SUCESSFUL!

...why does this always happen to the good stories?

D.N.Angel, Legal Drug, and now Zombie Powder. All stories I'll never find out the endings of.
