huh. So these guy walk into anime club, looking for the teacher, and she;s gone, so they sit down by me... And this guy.. he just starts talking to me... random things, you know? My age, my grade, am I in this class, what's this anime, do I have IM... stuff like that... from what he said he's a year or two older than me.

Anyway, we leave for sci, and Reba's like "You know, that guy was totally hitting on you..."

Except that I met a guy who likes yaoi. How cool is that? I was talking to Sam about FuruBa painings, and how it would be really funny if Kyou and Hana ended up together... and then I'm like "You know... I dunno... all my favorite pairings are yaoi...." And this guy ((he looks like a senoir, but you never can tell.... anyway, I recognised him from choir...)) who was walking in is like "Yes!! Yaoi!! Are you going to Yaoi-con?" and he told me that I could probably get in with a fake ID... and stuff...XD how cool is that? Oh! And, Tsuki! That yaoi book you were looking at in BN? Fake?... apparently it's really good. =3

UGHHHHHH.... I'm SO sick. My nose is stuffy, my head hurts, and I can NEVER sleep. I have a really bad sore throat, too... which is bad as I have choir today... >>;

And.. you know it'll be a bad Sunday when you wake up and you think it's monday. Sunday morning, I wake up at 6:30 and look at my clock and I'm like "Oh craaaaaaap. I'm gonna be late... but if I really hurry Mikoto'll prolly be on.. because it's... KUSO! It's Sunday, isn't it?" so... I grabbed a mint and went back to sleep.

Ahaha... and I woke up at, like, 3 this morning, and couldn't fall back asleep forEVER. So... no sleep... all sick and stuff... what a GREAT day it is... /sarcasm

And blah blah... I have a desk nowww!! *w* It's so nice to NOT be sitting on the floor. All the floor-ness was making my legs really hurt. Makes me sound old, but it's true.

This has been buggin me... but a lot of people get "mata ne" and "matte, ne?" mixed up. Here's the diff:

Mata ne: means "see you later". I don't really know a good way to remember it. Sorry XD;;

Matte: means "wait". I always think of this part in FMwS every time I hear "matte!" It's when Meroko says "Matte yo!! Takuto!!". I dunno.. when you hear it, it sticks in your mind...

So.... STUFFSTUFFSTUFF!!! XD;;

Ahahahah... I've had so much fun today... at lunch.. we were all high or something, and.. XD yeah.. like.. filling rubber gloves with lemonade. And... then... XDDD well... rubber glove +water bottle. Use a dirty mind. That... was amazingly funny.

And then at choir... let's just say that I might be singing some.. interesting songs this year... XDDDDDDD;;; I was almost crying I was laughing so hard today...

ZOMFG~ I was planning on wtiring this really nice journal yesterday, I was all happy, etc.

Now..? no.

First thing, my alarm didn't go off, so I woke up almost an hour later than I should have, and had to wait FOREVER for the bathroom to be free. So I had about 15 minutes online, and then I was all ready to go. But, because my siblings took so frickin long to eat breakfast, I missed my bus and walked two miles to school. I got there less then ten minutes before the bell rang, even though I left an hour before school started.

So I got there just in time for PE. Running. Miles. Yayyy.

Good News 1:I ran a mile in 9:40, which is two minutes faster than two weeks ago.

Except afterwards I felt like I was going to pass out.

Class happened... blah blah... no lunch because it's a short day, so I couldn't eat anything...

Then I have a test.

Then I DON'T have my favorite class, because it's Wed. So no choir for Nami. Which means no singing The Phantom of the Opera. U___U

Then it's a mile walk to my bus stop, where I wait half an hour for a five minute bus ride. Which, depressingly, still saves me time getting home.

Good News 2: Alex sent me a ton of cool songs!

The lyrics to SUMMER DAYS are so cool. XD

EDIT: H'oh crap... the bold-ness went rabid! Fixed that, I think...

Cartoon Network shall die. Like...now. I mean... look:

The voices sucked. Iruka, as Slee put it, sounds gay, and Naruto sounds like a digimon going through puberty.

Every single name is pronounced wrong, but who didn't see that coming? MihZOOkee, EeROOkah. Sasuke UCHEEhah.

And they pronounce Naruto two different ways. And they both suck.

They draw out any Japanese word they use. Naaaahruto. Juuutsu. Hoooh-kaaage.

They say Jutsu, but not bunshin. or kage. It's The Clone Juuutsu.

They say the stupidest things.

And they took out "Rocks" and "Wind". I mean, Rocks I can see where their stupid little turd-minds came from. "It's Japanese so we can't have it on TV" and all that crap they have. But Wind is in English. And they took out that beautiful song in favor of a really REALLY sucky one.

They even changed the footage for the op/ed. It's just random clips now. They don't flow at all, and they use the worst!

And they live... in the Villiage Hidden Among the Leaves. Not Konohagakure. Not even "The Hidden Leaf Villiage". The villiage hidden among the leaves.

*shakes head* Me and Slee... we will kill them...

The worst part, for me, is that my brother likes it. I mean, kids like anime in a superficial way. They don't care about anything except "Hey, this follows a funny loser! I'm going to buy every cheap toy they put out!". So now I have a NaROOtoh "fan" in my house. I am... NEVER going to let that tape. It shouldn't even be shown. It's so bad... it made me cry. Go ahead, laugh, but I was that mad. Now I sound really pathetic. U________U

I also got a lot of really good food: Udon, curry, crepes, and taiyaki! I only had one of my taiyakis though. I'm still too full to try to eat the other one. It's probably going to go bad now. XD

But we also got to go tot he mall by my house last night, and I finally got new clothes. I also saw this really cool dress, but it was really expensive @__@

XD and I ended up dripping chocolate all over myself today. My crepe was melting, and the chocolate got all down my arm and on the ground and stuff. ^^

My room finally has posters up! And I'm hoping to finish getting things up today. I'll probably end up taking pictures.

I'm wearing my Uchiha shirt, and my 'never give up' bracelet, and my room is finally becoming more comfortable to be in. Even though this has probably bored everyone away, I'm really happy. Just... thought I'd blabber on about that. ^^-

It was REALLY hot today. (Except when I was swimming, when it was, like, 20 degrees.) So, I'm really glad that I have a ride after school.

BUT

then I go to choir and... it was cancelled (favorite class too. ><. Okay, let me clarify: class was cancelled at 2:22. My mom normally comes at 3:45. And my mom's phone was off because she was teaching.

So I borrow a phone, call my mom, and walk home for an hour (ish) in the sun. Because I have no backup bus money.

100-ish degrees. Black pants. two-ish miles. heavy bags. Bags in plural, because I was carrying my wet swimming stuff.

Yeah. Not a happy camper today. But I drew something! ^^ So I'll scan it eventually.

^^ Hi, minna! How's life? Good? Good!

I've started school, and I'm actually enjoying it! O.O I've only got three classes and an elective this semester, so there's not much to remember. First (actually sencond, as I don't have a first period) I have PE, which looks like it will be hard, but not all that bad, really. Then there's English, with Mrs. Bailey, who is really nice. I think that will be one of my favorite classes ^^ Then science. The topic is really cool- forensics- but the teacher's kinda so-so. I really like the people I sit with in my group though. They're all really cool. Last I have chorus. And I'd really like to thank everyone ('specially Isis-chan) who encouraged me to take it, because it's a much better group than I thought. We're going to Carnegie Hall in June! Well.. I'm probably not, since I went a while ago with my other chorus. But it's still really cool.

I get to do swimming next week, too! I'm not a very strong swimmer, and swimming in the morning will be hard, but it sounds really fun anyway. ^^

And there's Chinese food and Subway and pizza and stuff to buy for lunch- and one station is right outside my third block class which is where I am right before lunch. ^^ Yayy!

One more thing- I think- I've had to memorize 2 locker combos. BEcause... the PE teacher cut my lock off because she thought it was the locker of this girl who needed to get her lock cut. So they had to give me a new one.

..well, I melted part of the microwave, anyway. Because there were these wontons in the fridge from Chinese food a few days ago. And they were in this bag, and I didn't know the bag was lined with metal. Ooops... XD;; So I put it in the microwave and after a few seconds I hear this POP, and the corner of the bag is on fire. I pull it out (after the little fire went out) and there's this black bit on the back of the microwave. I thought it was soot or something and that it'd just rub off. Except it was burnt microwave, and it doesn't come off.

...yeah. Keep me out of your kitchens. I'll kill something.

Like at Taylor's, we were making tacos, and she had to go do something, and she left ME unnattended at the stove. O.O But she kept coming in to ckeck that nothing had caught fire. So it's all good.

The Problem(s)
I'm mad at high schools in general. Because they always have
-a crappy, everyone-gets-in-and-sings-unison-music choir,
and
-a pretty good, auditions-and-past-musical-experience-are-required choir.
But you always need to be IN the crappy one to participate in the good one. And you aren't allowed to miss dress rehearsals or performances. So now I'm torn between my love of singing (I sound like a sentimental idiot. I'm not. Get over it.) and my hatred of stupid people.

I wish I could just go to my old chorus. The teacher actually helps develop your voice, and the music is actually challenging. You get to go exciting places to sing (If I was still in I could go to Hawaii this summer. Except my family is going to France anyway.)

Just as a note: I'm more upset about not being able to go to my chorus than about moving away from my friends. Because I'll see them again- we can still hang out and have fun. But I couldn't get to Antioch in time to get to chorus, so that's gone forever. I'll never be able to go back. So my voice will fade away, and one of the few things I don't suck too much at will be gone.

Which will leave me doing something I don't want to, because all I really want to do now is be a manga-ka or singer. But I'm not a good artist, and my singing is so-so at best right now. And it'll keep getting worse and worse koko kara...

And it's the same idea with my normal classes- if I take harder classes, I'll have to do oral reports and stuff; I'll have to write more in-depth, which I only like showing to people I'm comfortable with (I haven't talked to anyone else about these issues, by the way. I like you guys.); and if I take the honors history it'll screw up my whole schedule because it's twice as long (semester-wise) as a normal class, so it pushes around your other classes.

But a normal class would be boring. It'd be like Mr. King's class all over again- sit down, shut up, do your work in ten minutes, and have a whole period of quiet boredom. Which, despite the obvious advantages, isn't fun.

Please help me decide what to do! I trust all of your judgement more than my family's and much more than my own.

~Hiking is not fun at high altitude, while you're sick and allergic to everything, and dehydrated and wearing school-type shoes. DX
~Rafting is awesome. But I wanted rapids...
~We left, like, 3 days early. Because not even my parents could stand the 'cabin' we rented out. And there was no where else, so we drove home at 8. And got home at midnight.
~It really was like having three brothers. It. Sucked.

I can't draw anymore. I'm sorry. I'll try to get past this... It's like.. severe artist's block...

I've only recently heard about the whole Jark thing, but from what I can gather it was really unfair and uncalled for. A agree completely with the idea that DevArt is becoming more about DA making money.

It really dissappointed me to think that one of the people who created DA is being booted, because DevArt has always been a place where I could post anything and get feedback. I've made some great friends here too. It just... really sucks that my little escape-place has some of the suckyness of real life.

Okay, folks. Here's the deal.

By now, you've heard that Scott Jarkoff, aka °jark, is now a FORMER Staff Member.

I'm not privy to the whys, wherefores, and whatever-the-hells are going on behind the scenes here. Don't ask me anything about that. I know probably just as much as you do.

DeviantArt, in my opinion, is becoming less about COMMUNITY and more about CORPORATION.

So what we need to do is bring back THE COMMUNITY.

Here's my suggestion.

On August 7th, DA turns five years old. Five years for a website like this should be a grand affair, one big event.

So don't submit anything on August 7th.

I'm talking a print, a deviation, a scrap...nothing.

Instead, just leave a comment. Visit a user's page and just say hi.

If someone wants to buy a subscription that day, I'm all in favor or it. It'll keep the servers going, and anything that keeps the hamster running is a good thing.

BUT...I think folks shouldn't buy any prints. No print subscriptions. That goes against the COMMUNITY theme for the day.

We want to put the COMMUNITY back into DA.

Yo, everyone! Just felt like saying that: Nummeh has a snake! ^.^ I love snakies! Tis so cute! I dunno if it has a name yet.... she should name it Orochimaru.

Blah. Half of one of my earring-holes closed up by last night. So I re-peirced it myself. Just poked the earring through the bit that wasn't closed. That kinda hurt.

And: my mom is evil. She came in at 9 to get a CD for my brother. Except my door sticks, so she woke me up. Seems she thinks that opening the door is a better way to come in than knocking, like a normal person. I'll wake up either way... >.<

well, first of all... uhm... oh! my sister's surprise party went *very* well. I had to go with her to lure her out of the house, but I ran in ahead of her, and told everyone who I was (so they wouldn't 'surprise' me) and I got to join in! ^^

And... I got Harry Potter on Saturday. That's why I wasn't on. But I finished it today, so I'm back. ("Stop worrying about You-Know-Who- come and check out U-No-Poo; the constipation sensation that's sweeping the nation!!")

NEW STUFFSES!

1. OMFG. We get to the beach-wannabe TWO minutes before the pool closes. I swim for a bit and the people are like "Hey, it's 6 now, so.. EVERYONE OUT!!!" DDDDX WTF?!? So we... Stay there for an hour anyway. Just sitting around at the picnic part of the park.

-The power went out at 1:50 this morning. Like, all over. I'm just... in bed, being bored and trying to sleep, and it goes all dark. It gets REALLY dark when the streetlights and everything go out. But the blackout lasted, like, two minutes. Then the neighbors turned on their outside lights and it got really bright X:<

-So now my Tivo is all screwed up

-I get new hair stuffs tonight~! Yay~! Maybe my hair will acutally be PURPLE then. >>

-I need a new costume idea. Someone with long hair. And that I could make. Because my mom won't help me much. D:<

IT WON'T STAY PURPLE!!

I *tried* to dye the ends and front part dark purple yesterday, and while the dying-stuff was on it looked pretty good. Then I rinse it like I'm supposed to...

And it's back to boring brown. But with metallic blue hilights. =O

And now it just looks normal. Except the ends are a darker brown. Not purple. Any suggestions on stuff to get? DX

Then I was sick yesterday.

Well, first of all I'd like to mention something I forgot last time: when my sister was fishing, she kept getting sea weed, but then she finally got something heavier. She thinks "Yay! A fish!"

But it was a rock.

Anyway:

HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE IS SO GOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!

Tsuki took me and Nomi, and it was SUCH a good movie! Howl... is hot...

But it was nothing like teh book. I think the book had a better plot, but the movie expressed the story better.

Then I got to sleep over at Tsuki's house. We asked my dad to bring my Full Moon wo Sagashite disks but... THEY DON'T WORK ON TSUKI'S PC~! D:

But they work on mine, so there. FMwS is good. ^^

And we (...I...) made Chobit ears! It took me three + hours to make two sets (for me and Tsuki). They're mostly pink, and where Chi's are pink, ours are black. And the cirsles are white sparkle glitter on the pink. I LOVE THEM!!!

And this guy was, like, on dope or something in front of the ranger.

So we sit around the whole day, and right when it gets cold and dark, we go down to the lake (which we aren't allowed to set a FOOT in, because the park service is F*ed up) and I'm sick. And the 'nearest' bathroom is a 10-minute walk away. So I'm stumblin around and stuff forever. D:<

THEN we have to go to sleep in 30*F weather (*slight* exageration) on the cold ground.

I'm woken up my mom, yelling to GET UP!! and pulling my sleeping bag out of the tent. >_>

AND! these people by us were playing... BACKSTREET BOYS. Loud. At... 7 am. D:<

I still feel sick, so I end up hiking for three hours in the heat with an empty stomach.

BUT! I got a giant Cinnamoroll plushie from Sanrio. Yhey!!

AND!! Tsuki just called and invited me and my sister tto go to Howl's Moving Castle with her tomorrow!!

Up at the crack of noon today. Then...

ZOMabcdeFG!! I BEAT KINGDOM HEARTS! And my obsession has beed re-awakened!!

Can't find any good doujin, though. poop.

And I beat it all by myself, without calling Kisa and beggin for help. Though I was seconds away from doing just that today.

There's a card here that can make your opponent do seppuku!" And my mom's like "What's that?" So she looks at the card, and she was going on about how stupid and cowardly with that.

That's right. My mother is so full of madnosity that she thinks seppuku is cowardly. >_>;;

First, I'd just like to mention how CRAPPED UP my FLCL soundtrack came out. Thank you.

Now- my journal.



OMHFSB I hate my family.

I wake up at ten by my dad opening my door while someone was vacuuming, turning off my CD, and saying "Get up, there's lots to be done this morning." Then I spend an hour cleaning my room, go out to wash my face and my sister sees me and the VERY first thing she says to me all day is "You're not dressed yet?"

So I finally get dressed and ogo out to the kitchen, but before I even eat I have to clean up the bunny cage, carry ten or twenty punds of cat litter around, and put clothes away. Then I have tortelini for brekkers. Not. Good.

I finally get on the computer, and my internet is practically dead it's so slow.

Then I go to my room, and evveryone's -yelling- at me to get ready so we can go. I'm ready in 20 seconds, and then I wait for 15 minutes for everyone ELSE to get ready.

The -second- thing my sister says to me is a comment on how bad I look today. She's always saying things like that And she always makes fun of my music, which REALLY ticks me off.

We drive in a hot car for an hour, get bad food, wander around for a few hours in a mall, which is pointless, as I only own 6 dollars, and my mom- I guess she doesn't think having more than three sets of clothes is necessary? Because she won't buy me any. But she'll buy herself some expensive clothes while I'm at Hot Topic? Wtf??

So then we -have- to go through that Expo design store, even though they know they won't buy anything.

Drive home in a 100+ degrees car, and now here I am, sitting in full sunlight in a hot house in all black.

Fwooooo! I'm dizzyyyy!! But I had such awesome last-few-days!! that made no sense...

Anyway- sexually harassed palm trees.

Well, I was at Baka's party, and during the dance contest Engles (or however the heck you spell it...) was pole-dancing with an inflatable palm tree.

Ny the way, he didn't win. Zander did, so he got the Tiki-dude candle.

But Engles won limbo (cuz he's a midget! ) and he got a cup with a tiki-dude in a red speedo. So it all evens out

And at the party, the big inflatable water slide had this big gap in between the slide part and the wall to keep you from serious injury, so we all went FLYING out. onto the driveway

So we had to put our feet up against the wall when we came down.

Then her mom's friend went and bought an inflatable pool.

The pictures from our crashes are hilarious! Like the one of me going *O* after half-falling through. Gotta get a copy of that.

And then I went through, got stuck far enough in so my face was squished, had trouble getting out, was crouched low in the wading pool getting my grip on reality back, when my sister came down and hit the slide border, sending me face-first into the water.

Goooood times, people.

Oh- and the olive on life-support? We were playing pictionary (I think) at a library party, and I drew a picture of what was 'supposed' to be a snorkel, but afterwards, I commented that it looked more like an olive on life-support.

Yes. I never have to set foot on OPS campus again. EVER!!! My yearbook loks so awesome- I doodled all over the covers and stuff. Then I went to the 'promotion ceremony' (which means I stand around for forever so people can clap for me), got a "highest honor" medal for being one of the "top ten students"... which broke as soon as I ran to find Tohru afterwards... -_-;;

Then I went to the cool "under the water dance". Will post pics.

AND today is the last day of school! Fweee!!

I have a "promotion ceremony" thing (XP) and a dance today!

But yesterday.. >.< I had to figger out how to reconnect my scanner. My dad was asleep, so I had to find an open cord thingy and connect it, but that only gave it power- I had to spend 20 minutes looking for the one to hook it to the CPU. Then it still wouldn't work, so, when my dad woke up, I asked him. He restarted it and the whole thing worked.

But I was kicked off before I could scan much. So- Today, I promise~!!

Wheeee! Spent yesterday at Marine World. Very fun. But corwded with annoying little brats from a zillion other schools.

And a school full of hot Asian guys with blue hair ^^

Went on a ton of rides, specially roller coasters! So I'm all @___@

And on the HUGE drop on Medusa (a super cool roller coaster) , me and Tohru yelled out "Narutards Uniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiite!" X3

Blah. Well, on Saturday I had my performance. And everything went right.. untill I messed up really loud. nu fair. But we still sounded pretty good.

Then I went home, grabbed my dress (O_O Nami has a dress!) and went to Taylor's to go to her dance. Which ended up sucking, but we had fun. And I had, like, 3 pounds of hairspray in. ^^
