No idea when I'm getting that new camera... I really hate using my current one. It's developing new problems all the time. It now refuses to charge half of the time, and has decided that it can choose it's own settings rather than what I've set it to! The latter is REALLY ANNOYING. It's favourite one is to turn the flash back on after I've turned it off.
Needless to say, this has turned me off of taking alot of pictures as of late.


My sister and I are going to try a gluten-free diet to see if that helps with our health issues.
Gluten is in wheat,barley,rye, and oats*, which is in alot of stuff. Shopping is going to be tough.
*Gluten is not actually in oats, but most are cross-contaminated in factories.


Our refigerator died a horribble death the other day. At first we thought it had just frozen over and we needed to manually defrost it and it would start working again. After me cleaning out the frozen goods and squatting with a hairdryer and prying ice chunks out my mom decides to call the repair-man. He came and gave us the bad news. So it was off to Lowes to get a new one!

Sarah and I made the mistake of comming along. We went over with our mom to pick one out. This alone wouldn't have been very bad considering we had picked one out within 30minutes. Our dad had to show up. Nothing against my dad, but he has to thoroughly assess every option before making a choice. So he had to look at every single fridge, measure it, etc.

We were there for over two hours. It was pretty boring. Sarah and I ended up wandering around the light section, specifically the chandellier section, saying, "You gotta buy a chandellier!"

We lead such exciting lives.

This has also brought to my attention that my gallery is rather large. I think it's time to get rid of alot of my older stuff that isn't so great. I won't delete any of it, just move it to my scraps.

Also, I know I had said I would start submitting my stuff and that hasn't really happened. Lazyness and...well lazyness is to blame. Now that I've been on the computer more I have no excuses so expect to actually see stuff from me! If I don't *cheep will nag me to death!

Now for some not so good news. My camera has been broken! It's nothing too serious; 1/3 of the LCD screen is gone. It still takes pictures and functions as it should, I just can't see part of what I'm doing. I've gotten an estimate of $125 to fix it, which isn't so bad. Only thing is, I've been contemplating getting a better camera and I need to save up if I want to do that. I'll know more about that in a few weeks.

Thanksgiving is next week (in the US anyway) and the Holiday season will soon be upon us! I hope everyone enjoys it!

So far June has been wonderful.We went up to St.Louis early in the month and saw the arch. We were going to go to the Science Center, but lack of sleep and bad weather got in the way.

Today we went to Paducah, KY to see the Quilt Museum. I realise this sounds lame, but there were some awesome quilts there! [link] This is an example of one of the neat quilts there. I was surprised the detail that goes into these artworks.

Because she took such extreme measures at the begining, she had no chemotherapy to deal with. Also, due to her quick actions, she only has to take one pill everyday to help prevent recurrance. She remains vigilant, but so far there has be no development of new tumours and she is doing very well.

Just thought I'd share my mother's story with you.

1. I'm a bit germaphobic. I'll sometimes be too overconcious of germs and not want to touch anything. Usually when I'm like that I'll start washing my hands after touching things too. Most of the time I just don't touch doorknobs/handles, especially in public places.

2. My sleeping is just weird. I used to sleep for 12 hours and then be awake for 16. I've really been trying to work on that as of late.

3. I'm a bit obsessed with hair. I used to have thick hair but when I was 16 a migraine medication I was on made me loose alot of hair, and lightened it to blonde. Ever since I've been kinda envious of other's hair.

4. I like to play video games, but absolutly suck at most. I make my sister play games for me. I usually sit with her and coach her through the game. She calls me her "Guide Hoach."

5. I make our cats talk. My sister and I have come up with complete personas(multiple ones at that). Peach talks in a posh British accent, Cuddles sounds kinda nerdy with lisp and retainer, and Kisses is high-pitched and annoying.

6. I take forever to do anything, except read a book. I've been late to everything, without exception.
