Gyaaah it's crunch time everyoooneee! I'm sure everyone out there is busy as a bee doing what they need to do at the end of November. Stuff like cleaning the house, studying for finals and midterms, projects and reports, working overtime for money or even turning in college applications for the next fall. As wonderful the holidays are, definitely the most stressful times of the year.

But on a side note, i was watching the Yoko Gurren Lagann "Kirameki Yoko Box Pieces of Sweet Stars" PV by the Gainax. *__* If you haven't seen it here's the link: [link]

I have quite an admiration for Yoko! Don't ask me why, i just do @_@ But now i feel like drawing her and doing some AU comic about her and the Gurren Lagann gang :[!

So! I got myself a 3 month premium membership on deviantart! :] I'm really not sure how to use it but, i think if i make it look pretty enough, XD i think it will attract more attention and hopefully more commissions! Smart business move? We will see!


School year is coming to an end here soon and i'm stressing with a few things. :[ Mainly like 3 major reports/group projects and at the same time, me wanting some time before the holidays to finish all the current commissions to get some money for christmas!

Been trying for months to get a job. Applied to god knows how many places and talked to god knows how many people my resume/isthereapostitionopen.

So in my own effort to make some money for this holiday season, I have suuper lowered my commission prices and have Anime, Manga, Doujinshi, Video Games, etc for sale.

School has really kept me at bay from being active from... everything. I haven't sat down and played a game for a good hour or two, DRAWN and anything and has even cut into my work out time :[! But! Now i'm getting back into the swing of things!

So~ As you may have noticed, i've been doing BUTT LOADS of Harvest Moon Fanart. For one, the new Harvest Moon, Animal Parade for the Wii, is coming out in November and i'm suuuper excited. To add on, i've always wanted to draw HM fanart cause well- i simply think it's adorable. I love the series, so why not?


I also HAVE been going on my stream almost every damn day since... i think 4 days ago. I've been working on HM fanart and i think my limit is about one and half to two full pieces a day, depending on the amount of HW/studying i have to attend to.

Don't get me wrong, i will do other fanart and personal art, but Harvest Moon has really gotten me back into drawing. I'm really happy that it did because i really felt like something was missing from my life. :] Drawing really kicked things up a lot.


SO! GUYS! This Friday at around 2:30pm PST, i'll be on my stream the entire day doing free art requests. :] They'll be sketches and some colored. I'll put some lineart aside if i feel i want to spend more time on certain requests. :] I hope i see some old friends and new faces!

BTW: IS ANYONE HIRING? I know seasonal jobs are coming up soon, but i've been applying left and right everywhere for a damn job. I have to turn in my Gamestop Application here hopefully this weekend, as well as pick up another application at another place. Maaan, it's been tough.

Other than that, i JUST caught up with Slayers Revolution R Anime. Finished it just now and maaaaan, the ending twists! I promise i won't spoil but DAAAMMMN. I love Slayers.

However i wish there was more hints towards Zelgadis and Amelia. :< I REALLY love that pairing.

Been trying to find time to draw! I actually got good fanart started with Harvest Moon but haven't had time to finish it! And now, i can feel other fanart stuff itching up... SUCH AS SLAYERS. I always appreciate the input on what other fanart people would like to see. :] Hopefully i know it well enough and love it enough to draw it!

SO Here's the update on what happened at Evo2k9 this year.

Being my first Evo and first major tournament, I was quite nervous. I arrived Thursday afternoon for check in, showing up with my SF4 shirt that had a big ass picture of Ryu from SF4 that said "Staff". You can imagine the fucking stares i got when i walked towards the convention center at the Rio Hotel. LOL I'm not a staff of Capcom whatsoever (though that would be a dream job in itself), i just bought the shirt from Comic-Con last year at the Capcom booth. -shrugs- Don't ask me why they sold the staff shirt, but it's a very nice shirt. I was suppose to meet with an irc friend that night but his baggage got lost at the airport, so i said we'd meet tomorrow.

Friday was the day of my tournament, which was Guilty Gear. I met up with my irc friend, Koba, and we went over to the convention center and got our Evo shirts and badge. Koba also was super kind enough to get me the Evo Stick bag <33 Before the tournament, me, my parents and grandma found a Filipino Restaurant and ate some yummmy food there. Went back to the Rio and met back up with Koba, where he entered SF4, Blazblue and Guilty Gear that day. He went pretty far in both in his SF4 pool and BB. When the Guilty Gear tournament came around that evening i was certainly very nervous.

A few mins before the tournament started, i played this Sol player (who i thought was flashmetroid cause i thought i saw him pick Jam for a second) and i beat him a few times which brought up my confidence. Seth or Moroha (ABA Player) was the Ref of my pool and also was in my pool to compete with. He brought out the brackets and my first match was with all people, Justin fucking Wong.

NOW. I know his main game is SF4, but i'm aware of my own abilities verses the experiences Justin Wong has with other very good players. In my mind, i KNOW i can beat him. For one, compared to most of players there, he's good but I know not good enough to be top 10 for the Guilty Gear tournament. The only people i know i have to watch for are those.

Continuing, they skipped around the first matches, delaying my match with Justin Wong for about 30 mins. Now keep in mind, the only other tournaments going on at 5pm was Smash and the other SF4 pools. I know Justin Wong didn't compete in Smash, and please correct me if i've wrong, and at the same time, i know he doesn't have to compete in the pools to qualify for the SF4 semifinals. SO, where the fuck was he? Beats the shit out of me, and in all fariness, delaying my match THAT long really ticked me off. As much as i did want to play him, and his status as a professional gamer, i didn't appreciate waiting around for that guy.

So eventually he showed up, and i played him. He picked Potemnkin and I was Bridget. I know i had the advantage, but i knew i had to be very careful because if i messed up, he can punish me reallllly bad. When i played him, i tried doing more mixups this time, pressuring him pretty good in the corner. However, i missed my punishes and at the same time, made a mistake on executions and didn't play safe enough. I took too many risks, and ended up losing to him. However, every round (but one i think) i did get him down below 10% health which is saying a lot for me. I know i did really well and if i had more experience and training, I could have done a lot better and beat him.


That being said, It was double elimination so i was moved to the losers bracket. My match there was against a guy name Betrell who played Baiken. I made some SHITTTYY mistakes cause i was getting hit by dumb ass things. When i lost the first match i was like "FUCK THIS. I can't lose here." So i spaced out, timed him and won the second and third match. It moved me to my second match in the losers bracket which was against someone named Prinny. I think i saw him post a few times on Dustloop but i knew he was gonna be good.

Prinny played Slayer and in my first match i used Bridget. I got raaaped one round and was having a difficult time. Slayer punishes REAALLY bad, so i was HOPING (keyword) if i picked someone who punishes and deals very good damage, I'd possibly win. SO i picked my Dizzy which DEFINITELY cost me my 2nd lost, eliminating me from the tournament. So, i feel if i stuck with Bridget, i would have had a greater chance of winning my next match.


Afterwards, i celebrated my Moms bday on Sat and came back to the Rio that night to watch some of the SF4 5v5 Exhibition match, then left Sunday morning back home~


So about a week or so has passed since then and now i have school in about 2 in a half weeks. Honestly, i'm pretty happy to go back to school so i can use this brain of mine on something useful. Been playing lots of Harvest Moon so you'll probably see more HM fanart soon!

The last couple nights, i've been on Gaia with Fire on another Alias, just testing around with coloring and art style in general. It's so it can help me get back into art in general and find a style i can stay with for a bit, before i get too bored of it.

Also, the boyfriend has been pushing me to work on my comic, which i did update to page 14 a few days ago :] Go check it out here if you haven't already.

Otherwise, need to get into practicing Guilty Gear for Evo from the 17-19. I'll be in Las Vegas so, wish my luck and that i win! Haha 8D

But to update with me personally, so far the highlight of the past 6 months is that i hooked up with a new boy~ His name is Marcus, but my nick name for him is Solo <3 Wheee~ We hooked up May 5th and i must say, he's been so great to me. :]Love him so much already!

As well, i've been working on losing some weight and the results are... 10 pounds lost! Yay! I started working out around the beginning of April and i must save i have had my ups and downs. But so far, the struggle is there but i'll keep trying to drop the additional 10! I can't wait to officially say, "I lost 30 pounds". Gonna feel great once i do :]!

Also! I've started my own web comic! But! I've been slacking majorly! Haha not only because i've been lazy (wanting to spend a lot of time with the Bf XD, but some things i originally had plan for it are gonna change. Other that, i've been hardcore getting into 2D fighters and the competitive scene there. I plan to practice and enter the tournament at Anime Expo 09 this year and do well than i did last year. This is to prep me for my first big time tournament at Evolution (Evo) 2009 for the Guilty Gear Tournament. Let me tell you, i am super hyped up and excited to enter and go! Man i've been playing it online for awhile now, and i think the hours i've been putting in has payed off!

No, no, i'm not going anti-social for GG. XD Rather, just closing my browser, and leaving only mIRC and AIM open when i play so i have less lag. I still go out with friends almost daily now and am learning how to drive... finally!


T__T Changing lanes is so scary! But i think i'll get the hang of it after i get use to the roads. I'm afraid i'll go to slow when i drive because i want to be careful. T_T Last thing i want is to hurt the people in the car.


Mmm i also finished reading the Sailor Moon manga! OMG! I wish i read it when i was younger! It's still really good and if any of you guys who are real "magical girl" and "romance" lovers, i would recommend to finish the series if you haven't already. The manga version is a lot more different than Anime, but is generally the same path.


Though, now that i'm in my 2nd year of college, i worry for my relationship with my boyfriend, James. It's been on my mind lately and I hope we have time to still talk to each other. He started his first year in Uni, and he's told me he really wants to concentrate on school, which by all means is more important now in his life than anything. I just hope the outcome isn't for the worse. But, i'll always keep on believing that we'll be together for a long time :]! I love my James very much!

I think this semester will be pretty fun. I have 3 classes with friends so i should enjoy myself more than the past 2.

Been trying to create some goals for myself that aren't too unrealistic for me and am capable of doing. You know the whole push forward stuff, but trying not the be shoved back by something.

Anywho, seems like my ex hooked up with someone from around his area. Not mixed feelings or anything, but just makes me realize how people, no matter how much someone cares for the other during the past relationship, moves on.

Volunteered at Pre-Reg/O-Reg for like... the ENTIRE time. I got this nasty paper cut during the time, but it healed. :]

Either way, it was tons of fun! I didn't go to any panels this years.

The highlight of the convention for me was the 99 cent mangas! I bought like 3 good mangas by Erica Sakurazawa, (Angel, Angel Nest and something else)

XD Only to find out later on the last day, when i was on the trolley home, i left 2 of those books somewhere at the con. ;3; Now i have to save my money to buy them again. They're so good!


Oh! I've gotten some requests by some people through notes to draw. @_@ Sorry if i haven't responded yet, but my general answer to all of them is, "If i have time,". I find myself mostly though dawdling off somewhere offline, so i'll get back to you when i can, XD oor i'll just draw it if i really like the request.

Don't get me wrong, every Anime Expo is always a blast when it comes to meeting up with people and getting merchandise you can only dream of buying. But as whole, the convention events were disorganized and the convention staff was downright rude.

There have been plenty of reactions and comments to his years convention at the Anime Expo forums. I've posted my feelings on it as well, but one of the major concerns I must say is AX2008. They announced at the closing ceremony that they would be holding it at the LA Convention Center, which isn't the most pleasant and safest area to be at around night.

After reading countless amounts of posts and threads on the forums, I can firmly say that the LA convention center itself is large enough to hold all the events for Anime Expo, but when it comes to Hotel rooms and holding services and events to the early morning, then that is a big no. LA residents even agree that the area is most dangerous at night and holding a convention like Anime Expo would not be ideal.

I will be writing the SPJA and possible the Anime Expo Administration about the location they have chosen for next year. I feel that not only will they loose attendance, it will hurt their overall reputation as a convention.


On a lighter note, I really look forward to Comic-Con this year. Volunteering has always been rewarding for me and i look forward to checking out the panels. I find that i go to more panels at Comic-Con than Anime Expo, largely because i do volunteer work before the convention and have the rest of the four days to wander about the convention... not that i wouldn't mind getting more things to do to help ^_^.


Anywho~! Got lots of thing planned before classes start up again. Cobra is going to try and help me get my D-tail which i really appreciate. And i hope to draw and learn lots before i get back into school!


OH! And someone was actually interested in a RL commission ^_^ i was so happy! hehe~

To sum up the last couple of months:

- Broke up with my boyfriend, BUT am with another guy. And he is also wonderful. Me and my ex are still good friends.

- The server i played was TormentRO. After i played, i started GMing for their server and became an Event GM. Soon, i was good friends with the owner and was part of their new productions, tormented-productions. I'm 3rd co-owner of the production.

- TormentRO became EndlessRO which is under the Ragnarok Online divison of Tormented Productions. I lead that RO part of it.

- Currently also TEMP GMing at EndlessRO. I am *SUPPOSE* to quit RO, but due to complications with the owner, Pride, i volunteered to GM in his place while he fixes things in his life now.

Now, i'm just trying to get back into drawing.

Currently i'm working on concept art for a game Tormented Productions is making. It's going to be very basic, just to test out limits and abilities. It's a monsters game, almost like pokemon, but not. I'll be designing the NPCs.

Started talking to Blaque a bit again, :] Which is awesome. I hope to start talking to my art friends. T_T God knows how much i miss them.


Gaiaonline.com is just a place where i can get practice in. Check my photobucket for the sketches i've been doing every now and again.


I start college in September, which is coming very soon. Lord knows how nervous i am, but very flexable hours for myself. Nothing fancy like state, which i decided to go againist. Going to a community college for now, then going to the Art Institute of San Diego afterwards. I want to major in Game and Design.

XD Harrr, when i heard Ki was going to participate in an convention at artist alley i envyed her sooo much! ;0; Man! I wish i had a group of friends or something to rent a table with together. I'd facking do that in a heart beat >:U!

I"m uber excited this year. ;0; So many guest are coming! The merchandice, the cosplay...! THE TOURNAMENT!

I have this big ass ego on Guilty Gear X2. I mean, huge. And i will tell you straight up, i am facking good. I mean hell shit, i laugh at peoples faces if they even think about versing me. I sit on my ass for hours not only drawing but playing Guilty Gear all night and day. My thumbs are naturally swollen and i'm getting more blind as i sit on the computer and play video games at the same time.

No Eddie, Bridget, Anji or Sol is gonna beat this girl. And if these guys there say the slightest word as:

"I'll let you take a few hits of me..." CAUSE I'M A GIRL- Will get elbowed in the face without warning. Play your best, cause you'll need it dipshit.

So much plans for the summer, so little time. I can already feel the stress of my senior year. Applying, projects, commuinty service, websites, health, family, drawing... i wanna pull out my brains.

A sort of rant.

Next year i'm the president of 2 clubs, Anime and Art. While i am the president of Anime, i am co-president of Art, seeing as i'll be VERY busy with anime club and improving it. Not only that, i'm Vice President of Japanese National Honor Society and Web editor of Teaching Language club. All these i need to make web sites for as well.

And BESIDES those given postions, i will still go and teach at an elementary school as well as train someone and attend weekly meetings at Manga Club at our local Junior High to help run it.

Then, College apps. Last SAT, SATII and ACT test. Senior Exhibition, web site updaing and drawing practice.

Over the summer i'm going to learn how to drive... finally. Not only that, get a job and attend Comic-con and Anime expo. At Comic-con i'll be attending as a Volunteer for the whole 4 days.. possibly 5 if i bag like last year.

Geh, but now, my little sister just showed my piles of fantastic art. Of course its from Japanese websites. I envy their natural talent so much. But i swear, this summer is my summer to shine. I'm gonna look good, be talented, good grades and hopefully change my personality. I hope i'm not too bossy in the future and can handle kids better. ;0; I love kids and animals but they don't seem to love me back nyaa !

and Have improved so much. So has the Trio. I feel so left behind in the dust. I even see changing her art style. I want my own. And i want it to be beautiful. ;0;


God damn lazyness. I have to get rid of that habit soon.

My older sisters b-day was Monday (yayayayay)~~ She's 18 now, and time has passed so god damn fast. I'm planning to do something for her, but it's hard to place it between all i want to do and have to.


The last 6 weeks of school starts, pretty much today. And, all my relatives coming down isn't going to help. I use to get a 4.13gpa without much trouble, but my commuinity service is getting in the way. Not only that, i feel like i'm pushed to go home now, so that isn't going to help me when i need after school tutoring.


Gah, of course, this is from a female artist with her period. >:U Which doesn't help much either ne?

;0; Man.. after seeing other 16 year olds here... their SUPER amazing... i was crying on the outside, but inside... This fire is raging with competition!!! I MUST GET BETTER! X3 Reminds me of that 7th grade summer where all i looked at was Akkio and Mbp's artwork.. X3 and i found theartcorner.com. Ahhhh mannn X3 such memories..

Then again i wanna draw other things.. but my tablet is on the friz and my scanner is being an ass. x.x; Let's hope these things can be fixed...

I started on the rough pencil outlining last night for about 4 and a half hours... x.x; maybe more? Geh i'm still not done with the guy and the girl in the middle.
