Chapter One: The Heist In Progress

"Hurry up, Lola!" Yelped my best friend and long time team mate, Mary, as we were running away from Rajan's--this huge tiger dude that has a bad temper--palace. Behind me and Mary was my other partner in crime, Coco--who's foxy orange coat is beautiful--the brains of our operation. Mary was the brawns, but just by looking at her, you couldn't tell. The guards were big... and they look just like rhinos; i really couldn't tell as i was running. "I'm goin' as fast as i can without speedin' ahead of you guys!" I yelled back, watching as Mary and Coco were barely behind me: the two of them had not always been the fastest.

That's why they have me: The speed demon.

Or at least that's what most people called me; i'd be the fastest thing around these parts. I had never met anyone faster than me; probably never will, either. Mary--a beautiful brown and white collie-who secretly likes Coco, at least i think-with the strength of me and Coco put together, and the charm to trick people. She wore a dark hot pink tanktop, a pair of black shorts with pockets on the side, a pair of black sneakers with lightning boltz on the side, and hot pink gloves with holes for the fingers. She'd snap at anyone who'd get in her way; she'd defend me or Coco if anything ever happened to us and she'd be there for us within a flick of an eye.

On the other hand, we have Coco--a sleek orange fox. He was the brains of our operations; just thinking about how many times his brain has gotten the team through things makes me wanna hug this boy to death! And not to mention... Mary's ulimate dream boy: Smart, cute and oh so tres sexy! With shaggy blonde hair covering up his left eye, his clear green eyes stood out the most from this boy. He wore a white short-sleeve shirt that went down past his waist; with a pair of green sneakers and a black whip always on his side in case of battle.

I swear, if there wasn't a Cooper Gang, we'd be the best there is!

I couldn't quite keep my eyes straight ahead because of my black haired bangs that kept covering part of my eye. The guards were closing in on us... so close... just one more jump and... ah-ha! Looking back, i saw the head guard stare at me with a look of hate. But, why do i care? Heh, i don't. I made a small sigh when the team slowed down, and then knelt down onto my feet, looking up at the fox as he was thinking. "So, now that we have the emeralds, what are we using them for?" I had to ask; Coco never told me why we needed them, and i could understand why: He thought i couldn't comprehend some of his lingo he usually talked at me.

"Oh, that's simple: We're going to the future." He said, while heaving breath and leaning againist a near-by brick wall.
