For those of you who are new to the concept of my parent's custody arrangement, I go to my Mom's house every Tuesday and Thursday night, and at least one day over the weekend. Every other day I'm at my Dad's.

ANYWAY! Mom doesn't have a Wi-Fi signal. She's thinking about getting one, but for now, she doesn't have one. I promise ~vampchick4 that her new chapter for A Jack OF All Trades would be up, but I won't be able to get it up until at least Sunday night. I'm staying at my Mom's tonight, and tomorrow I'm going to be doing a lot of yard work and running errands and stuff all day with my Dad. By Sunday night I should have the next two chapters, actually, but they won't be up until Sunday. So, ~vampchick4, I know you're eager, but please stop asking me when the next chapter will be up! I know I don't always update it immediatly, and sometimes it takes a while, but I do get the chapters up. If the next chapters aren't up on Sunday, then they'll be up on Monday.

Well...

Let's see. I just bought about $15 worth of iTunes songs. I also bought My Super Psycho Sweet Sixteen, which I shall watch tomorrow while Tara's at CCD, so don't ruin it for me. Anyway, I bought New Divide by Linkin Park, Encore/Numb by Jay-Z and Linkin Park, Merry Merry Merry Fricken Christmas by Fricken' A, and about thirty songs by all sorts of classical artists, like Debussy (who is my all time FAVORITE), Mozart, and others like that. I got an album for about ten bucks, and it had like, twenty sumthin songs on it. It's awesome. So I is in a good mood. I is gonna put them on my iPod now.

I have a bloated stomach all the time. My hair is greasy. My pores are huge. I have fat thighs. My feet are huge. My legs and underarms are insanely hairy. My skin color is horrible and sickly pale.

Have you ever just stood in front of a full length mirror, completely naked, and just looked at yourself? Not in a perverted way, but in a way that makes you really see yourself for who you are? I just had a moment a little while ago. I was getting changed in my room, and happened to look up into my mirror. I had to look at myself twice because I did not recognize myself.

Above, in italics, is how I used to see myself. And I had accepted that as what I looked like. I know that this sounds awful, but I figured that there will always be someone that looks worse than I, so I can't be too upset if I don't look like a model.

But.

As I looked at myself, really looked at myself, for the first time in god knows how long, I realized something. I'm not trying to sound concided or anything, but I realized that...I'm pretty.

Now, I'm not super model gorgeous or anything, but I'm pretty. Yeah, I've got big thighs. But because of them, I have nice, feminine curves. I finally lost all my baby fat from my stomach. So what if it swells a little after I eat? It shows that I've got meat on my bones and I'm not a skinney little anorexic brat.

About six months ago, I started taking better care of myself. I've been using shampoos and conditionairs that are better suited for my hair type, and special facial cleansers. My pores look better, and my hair isn't as greasy. I can't really do anything about my skin color, but it's become a more healthy color. I still have pale skin, but it doesn't look as sickly as it used to. Because I've been taking better care of myself, I also shave so much more often then I used to. So the whole hairy issue? Damn my father for those genes, but I take care of it.

I can't do anything about my feet, but they're not completely terrible. They aren't wide, so they don't look too bad. And they are well proportioned to my body.

But so help me god if Reece tells me one more time that my toes are hairy, I'm gonna choke him with something.

Anyway, there are other things that I didn't like about myself, that I thought made me look ugly and completely unattractive. But I've finally realized that whereas I might not be gorgeous, I'm pretty, damnit, and I look damn good in a lot of different outfits.

I don't think many of you will understand how much this means to me. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders, and I'm finally happy with my appearance. I know all my friends are gonna start ripping into me, like "You've always been pretty!" and all that bull that friends are always supposed to spout out when you turn around and say that you've always thought that you were ugly. I've finally, finally come to accept myself for who I am, so I'm feeling kinda on top of the world, and I can handle anything that my friends are gonna yell at me. So, let it begin.

I will not be on nearly as often as I used to be. You'll be lucky if I'm on at all during the week. Weekends I may be on more often. The reasons are as follows:

1) I am taking three honors classes, and am assigned at least two hours of homework every night.

2) I am active in three clubs: GSA, Drumbeat, and the Bio Club.

3) I play MSA soccer, meaning at least one practice a week and a game Saturday mornings.

4) I'll be at my mom's twice a week, and at least one day every weekend. She doesn't have internet service, so I'm unable to be online at all, whether I'm free or not.

5) I'm going to have a job. Granted, it's only for a few hours every other Saturday or Sunday, but I'm hoping more people will hire me. I'm going to be cleaning a family friend's house, and (hopefully) I'll be able to get a few more people to pay me to do that, so A) It's off the books so I don't need to go through the hassle of getting my working papers by a deadline and B) The people I'll be cleaning for are family friends and high upper class, so I'll get paid a little more.

6) I HAVE A LIFE OUTSIDE DA!!!!! I'm not going to be on 24/7. I love you all, I really do! But I have plans with family, and friends, and I'm not going to glue myself to the computer anymore.


Now, this said, I'm still going to be on as often as I can or feel like it. I'll try to be on at least every other day, and I can't promise how often I'll put something up. This includes fanfictions that I owe people. (~vampchick4, I'm almost done with the next chapter of A Jack Of All Trades, it should be up by Sunday night) I still don't have my laptop, either. I mean, it came back from Dell, but I can't use it until my grandfather puts Norton Antivirus back on it, puts Photoshop back on it, and reloads all of my files. I should have it back by the middle of next week, though.

Alright, I just wanted to let you all know what's going on, so you don't think that I'm abandoning you. I love you all, and I shall be on when I can. Bye!

Now lets see how many people actually read this. I am leaving, but not for good. I'm going to Beach Haven, Long Beach Island, New Jersey for a week. I'll be leaving tonight, and I'm coming back late Saturday, Septmeber 5th. I won't be on much today unless it's later in the evening - it's 11:11 A.M. right now - because there is so much that I have to do. I just wanted to let you all know. My laptop's still not back yet from Dell, but I should be getting it delivered to my house while I'm away. So when I come back, I should have my laptop. Not making any promises, because, knowing my luck, it'll take longer.

Both my grandma and my sister are taking their laptops, but I won't be able to upload any pictures at all. That is if we're able to piggyback on an unlocked network. We were able to get an okay signal WiFi signal last year, but that doesn't mean anything for this year. If we are able to get a signal, I might be able to come on DA for a few minutes at a time, really just to answer messages. I doubt I'll be able to upload anything, and if I do, it'll be poems, or maybe more of ~vampchick4's NCIS fic. I can't do more of Diseased Love - no one in my family is to know about my yaoi loving side. And I can't take pictures of anything I draw and upload them cuz my sister's camera's being weird. Once I come back, I should have a great deal of deviations to put up, so brace yourselves!

I'm going to miss you all so much!!! But it's only for a week, so don't flip out and think that I'm ignoring you or something, because I am so not. I just don't know if I'll be able to get a signal or not, or even if I'll have time. I just wanted to let you all know so I don't let anyone down.

So now, I've got my brace on, and I can't really put any weight on my left leg. It's pretty swollen, and it hurts like fucking hell. Daddy said that if the swelling doesn't go down by tonight, then I get to go to the ER again!!!

EDIT I'm going to the ER when my dad gets home. My knees still swollen, and now it's bruising, sooooo he wants to make sure I didn't tear anything.

1. Laptop: FIXED.
2. Scanner: My stupid scanner is always f***ing up, I can deal with it cuz it's always throwing temper tantrums.
3. iTunes: My sister figured out how to fix it.
4. Cell phone charger: Screw the charger. I'll use Daddy's.
5. My Files: PAPA SAVED THEM!!!!!!!!!
6. Photoshop: He did take Photoshop off of my laptop. I'm still pissed about it, but I can deal. It'll be at least a month before I get it back, but I am going to keep myself busy painting with acrylics and coloring with Prismas and such.
7. Finally, I may not be able to see ~ImGaarasNinja for three weeks, but she's not my only friend. And no offense to her BUT I do have other friends that I can hang out with, such as ~LeesNinjaPirate and *Kitty342.


As long as I keep calm, I'll be fine. I can deal with this. I overreacted, and I need to calm down. I know that. I flipped really because I thought that I was going to loose all of my files and I would never get them back. But now, I don't care. Everything else I can deal with, and I'll get Photoshop again eventually.

1. My laptop has epic viruses and is out of commission for god knows how long.

2. My scanner refuses to work for me, and won't let me scan ANY of my drawings to put up.

3. My iTunes, on my dad's computer, isn't working.

4. Somehow, my cell phone battery managed to fry its charger.

5. My grandfather had to erase all of my files. Every. Last. File. All of my fanfics, all of my pictures, my poems, my writings- EVERYTHING. All gone. And even though I dowloaded it all onto my flashdrive, the flashdrive was corrupted, so it's all lost. Everything I've worked on, ever, it's all gone. Completely and utterly GONE.

6. I could have dealt with all my files gone. But you know what he did?
HE.
TOOK.
PHOTOSHOP.
OFF.
OF.
MY.
LAPTOP.
PERMENATLY.
I am furious with him at the moment, and he knows it. I got Photoshop on my laptop from ~ImGaarasNinja, and I didn't have to pay for it. Now, it'll be at least a month before I get it back on.


Like I said. Excuse me if I'm really bitchy and curt and not on for a while, but I am on the edge, and I'm not going to see one of my best friends for three weeks, and everytime I touch a piece of technology, it seems to go and blow itself up simply because I went near it and I'm ready to go and bite the head off the next person that talks to me, so be warned and, again, if I'm bitchy or rude or curt, I'm really, really sorry. A backpack with an iPod headset hanging out of it.

My school is SO freaking retarded. We stood outside of the school for over an HOUR, in the rain, waiting for them to make a decision!!! Then when they did, they also needed to evacuate the Middle School and the Falls (kindergarten) School because they're like, 100 yards away from the High School. We sat on the buses at the bus garage for over another hour before they finally sent us outside of school grounds, onto the street outside. Then we spent ANOTHER hour waiting for the students to get onto the correct buses (please don't ask, it was a completely retarded system). Our school's evacuation system is so freaking ineffiecient. If it had been a real bomb or gas leak, we would have all been blown up!!! And the worst part is that the evacuation happened RIGHT BEFORE MY LUNCH PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!! So I didn't get to eat until I got home at 2:30!!! And a bunch of my friends couldn't go home because they didn't know their bus number (cuz they drive to school) or their parents weren't home. So I had everyone over my house. There was me, my sister, ~FalconicKatadora, Ali, ~ImGaarasNinja, *Kitty342, Casey and Tom. It was fun having everyone over, though, and we had a small ...party, I guess. Til everyone went home. Then I went to bed. The next morning, guess what I realized?

I LOST MY IPOD!!!!!!!! It must have fallen out of my pocket during the evacuation. I can only hope that my bus driver found it, or I am SO screwed!!! I want my iPod!!!!! I miss it. So I gotta ask my bus driver tomorrow if she found it or not. And if she didn't find it, I'm going to go to the Lost & Found at school, and hope to god that someone else found it and turned it in.

Then onto Saturday!!!!!!! I told my sister to wake me up at ten, cuz my mom was coming at quarter after eleven to pick me and my sister up, and MY SISTER WOKE ME UP AT ELEVEN!!!!!!!! I had fifteen minutes to get up, dressed, make up and hair done, eat breakfast, pack a pag-ALL WHILE MY SISTER WAS HOGGING THE BATHROOM!!!!!!! I was able to do it, but my mom came early AGAAAAAIN so I really only had eight minutes to do all this.

After Mom picked me and Tara (my sister) up, we hung out at her house for a while before we went out at one to get my hair highlighted!!! I got my bangs, and about six or seven streaks in the top layer of my hair completely bleached. They look almost white!! And then I dyed a few streaks bubble gum pink and violet. That'll wash out in a week or so.

THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN at like, five thirty, I went to go to my softball game, right? I was all dressed and ready! We showed up only to find out that the other team canceled on us!! The assholes are the ones that wanted us to play them on a Saturday!
