On that note, ROAD TRIP!! Going up to my grandparent's place on a secluded lake next week, so I'll finally have time to get some projects finished and out of the way. I'm so excited, I get the week off of work and I plan to paint, draw, write and relax, and not much else. Why am I telling you guys all of this? The painting I've been promising to finish for the past month is glaring at me from my desk...it's at about 75% completion right now--just major/minor detailing left and a few mistakes to fix. I'll try to finish it this week, but if anyone wants the WIP posted as a preview, let me know and I'll scan it in! I've just been reluctant to do so earlier in case I start to hate it and abandon it (not gonna happen at this point though).

Anyways, expect more than one painting from me in July; I've got a few in mind, some being requests from a friend. So to sum up, I'm not dead I'll try to be more active on DA starting...now!

I have a lot of school art to show for it, and I'm trying to find time for "fun art"...like actually doing another comic page, hahaha. I'm going to post some of the school art, more if I can borrow my friend's camera--some of the drawings are kinda huge Anyways, BryarRose tagged me to do this meme-y thing, so here it goes

1. Post these rules.
2. Each tagged person should post 5 aleatory facts of themselves.
3. Tagged people should write a Journal\Blog about these facts.
4. In the end, tag whomever you want. . .
5. Go to their DA pages and comment saying that they are tagged and hugged. (if you feel like it)

1--I love to sleep more than anything--seriously, if there was a job that involved me just sleeping, I would take it in a heartbeat

2--All the DVDs in my personal collection are kid's movies except for 2 or 3...I have a lot of things like that, including a stuffed animal collection and 4 Mr. Potato Heads.

3--I'll listen to basically every type of music, and I can't really pick a favourite genre--right now I'm enjoying 60's hippie music that my lil' bro picked up for me at Xmas. Music also gets stuck in my head for days (or weeks) on end, but I don't mind.

4--If I find something I like, I MUST have it, despite the cost...this can be problematic at best. But I also lose interest in things if they get many bad reviews. Luckily, I don't feel the same way when it comes to people, haha.

5--The other day I went around correcting residence posters that had spelling/grammar mistakes--I really have no patience for errors, and I compulsively edit everyone else's writing (as well as my own). This habit has gotten me named "Word Woman" by my friends.

Don't try to tell my gandma you're not hungry, she'll fix you a snack anyways, and expect you to eat it. Gawd, I love Ukrainians... It was also my 1st Ukrainian Thanksgiving, in which there were about 7 pies, butter tart squares, a humongous turkey, a ham, kielbasa, perogies, cabbage rolls, buns, and a ton of sour cream--also, a huge amount of punch to wash it all down. Hahahaha, it was insane, but I loved every moment of it. I didn't want to leave, but here I am, back in the tiny dorm...but now my fridge is full of tasty food and I feel loved again No new art to post at the moment, I am up to my eyeballs in assignments and mid-terms, but I will be done by the end of next week, hopefully. Then you will see some art, whether it be in-progress or some finished pieces. I hope for the latter.
