Need suggestions for a new laptop. I've finally got a job so I'm planning to replace my piece of crap laptop ASAP. I need something that will run Photoshop quickly and effectively, is fast, doesn't overheat, generous memory etc. I love my ASUS, should I stick with the ASUS line?

My prices have gone up. It just takes me too long for too little money and I'm not making enough to pay for my ridiculously overpriced phone contract alone (without it I have no laptop). Ok, so we're kind of going through one of those spells where we're really struggling for money. We sometimes struggle to buy food. Try as I might, I can't get a job, and now we're down another £100 a month which doesn't sound much but that means I can't afford to pay for my phone contract so that'll make things difficult but more importantly, we're really struggling to care for our cats. We have emergency vet bills to deal with. Mummy cat has a severe infection so we need to pay for her treatment. I've had a completely shit day from the word go.

First of all I was woken up three hours early by my cat pissing all over my bed while I was still in it. It went through my quilt cover, my quilt, my mattress cover to my mattress. Ew. So at stupid o'clock in the morning when I really needed my sleep, I was cleaning my mattress. Luckily mum was up early too so she came in and helped me out.

The male cats (all four) are in heat and for some reason are only targeting one (of three) female kitten.
