FUN FOR ME ANYWAY.

Soooo I know I have like hundreds of comments I need to reply to, but since my subscription ends soon, I decided to have a little more fun.

So it's been awhile since I've updated my journal (a month to be exact) so I figured I would post up something new.

I just spent a lot of time answering comments but there's still a lot left. So if I haven't answered you I'm sorry! I'll get to you soon D:

I got some art to submit, but I don't want to bombard all your deviation lists things (whatever they should be called) so I'll only submit one every now and then I guess. They're almost all from that 30 day challenge. Now..I BARELY failed XD I ended up running out of steam on the last six days. Mostly because it all HAD to be iAnti related to count and I was out of iAnti inspiration. I think I need to give iAnti a short breal lol

Anyway. I've been playing Ragnarok Online again (after a long absence lol) and I realized how boring it gets having no friends on RO XDD I NEED FRIENDS. Its a miracle I've leveled up at all considering how hard it is for the mage class to fight solo.

That's about all really for now...

So since my subscription ends this month and I really don't feel like paying for one..(I won this previous one from a contest) I'm just going to do without. It won't be so bad I don't think...but it's been a year so I don't really remember what its like without one (especially since they changed the layout and message things)

But yeah. So I'm going to do this thing just because I still can.

So it's a new month and not a lots happening with me. Well not exactly. There is some stuff indeed.

I started a 30-day art challenge. So I have to draw a picture every day or I lose. Which I'm used to but I still want to try! XD The catch is that it has to be iAnti related. So. Be ready for LOTS of Maeryn.

I have an MRI scheduled for tomorrow morning. Long story almost short: I have really weird back pains and numbness in my arms and legs and the doctor is a little concerned about it so I've been going through all kinds of tests this past month. Let me tell you. Tests are not pleasant for anybody XD

I still haven't brought myself to finish Phantom Hourglass yet. I just don't want it to be over! He's too cute and adorable! And I haven't gotten all the ship parts yet!
Same thing happened with like four other games. I haven't finished Brawl, or Dragon Quest VIII, or FF: Crisis Core.....*sigh* I fear the end? XD I dunno. I'll finish them soon enough I'm sure.

I really should be working on a video right now. It's sort of my job to edit all this footage from a Drama Camp into a kind of "promo" thing so they can advertise and get more people to help out and do it next year and stuff. As a future film editor, I cannot put this off, but somehow I'm still procrastinating.

HELLO EVERYONE.

Erm, so basically I haven't been around for a few days. We had a nasty thunderstorm that gave us a lovely power out, following by no internet service for 48 hours.

It was awful lol.

So now I'm even MORE behind on all my comments and stuff. I hate leaving comments unanswered but its hard to sit down and answer them all (especially when you have no internet for two days and there's now 3 times more comments to answer)

I'll get to those sometime today or tomorrow if I can. I really really don't mean to leave them. But there's just so many U_U

ANYWAY.

I finished a new deviation that I'll be submitting in a little while. It exhausted me trying to do it all but I had a lot of time on my hands.

Also, I'm almost done with Phantom Hourglass. All I have to do is go and kill Bellum or whatever his name is. But I don't like finishing games lol. I'm probably going to drag it out and roam all the islands again to see if there's any stuff I may have missed. I love Ship Parts. XDD I want them ALL. And I can't seem to get enough of them. So I'm going to probably roam around until I get more. Mwahaha...ha...haha....erm.

I guess that's about it for now. I'm working on more artwork but iAnti has kind of taken over all my inspiration lol. Everything I wanna do has to do with iAnti these days. I know, I'm horrible XD. I haven't even written much more on my book lately. OTL Epic fail. But I'll get to it sometime. I still have a long summer ahead of me. Sorta

And I get my hair cut next week. WOOH. Not that you all know what my hair looks like right now anyway...XDD But yeah. Yay me?

In other news: I saw the new Narnia movie the other day finally. I love the book series, but I really really love the guy who plays Peter.

He's lovely. I dunno how old he is in real life, but I don't care. He's pretty and has a nice accent. Haha. Plus his real name's William (I can't remember his last name...) and I LOVE that name. So wooh.

Heh heh...

I GRADUATED YESTERDAY.

Though it still hasn't fully sunken in that I'm leaving this town and will probably never see 98% of those people again...sigh. It all seemed kinda surreal. I dunno. I don't feel graduated yet XD

So I haven't gotten to finish any more art yet because of all the crazy insanity that's been going on around here. Man. You don't even know. XD

In lieu of getting back into iAnti (FINALLY.) I've wanted to draw some stuff for that a lot too. So that may be appearing soon enough.

Also. I have some comic ideas that I'd like to get down if possible but who knows. -_- My comic skills might be lacking.

I'll be gone for most of next week so unless I post something tomorrow, there won't be much until next weekend. I have college orientation next week. @_@ I can't believe it. I dunno what I'm gonna do. This is all too weird!!

I'M BACK EVERYONE.

My hiatus is officially over. (I even submitted a new deviation. Wooh.)

I'm glad to be back and OUT OF SCHOOL. No more classes for me! HA! I still have to wait til Friday until I officially graduate, but oh well. =] I'm happy!

So I'm already working on another deviation. It's a request that I feel bad for not having finished already. Hopefully I can do something good with it. It'll probably take awhile because I want to do a nice background

I also have time to PLAY VIDEO GAMES.

Which is plain awesome. I decided I'd first finish Phantom Hourglass before I do anything else. Next I'll finish Crisis Core. I'm pretty much going in the order I bought them in.

I have lots to get done this summer. *looks at To-Do list* Not to mention all the music videos I have up my sleeve. Fufu.

So as far as deviations go...I'm thinking after I finish the request, I'll do some more Edward and Bella stuff.

ALRIGHT.

So I am NOT back from my hiatus just yet, but I just wanted to let some of you know (if you're curious) that I'm not totally dead.

I miss DA like crazy and I'm counting down the days until I have time to fully return. It shouldn't be long now. This is my last week of school. WOOOOHHHHH

Last week of high school EVER!

I don't graduate until June 6th but that's okay. I still have a whole week of NO SCHOOL before that.

Of course, I plan to post up some new artwork next week. Especially since I owe a certain friend of mine on here a request

I'm also really missing iAnti >.> I haven't been there in a LONG time and I hear it's been remade and updated. And it's ERA 16. GAH. I wish I had time to go hang around there again!! *breathes* Just one more week. Four more weekdays and I won't have school anymore.

Erhem. In DA related news...

So I have a LOT of comments sitting around that I feel really guilty for not answering yet. I want to answer them all but there's just so many @_@ I'm not used to it at all.

In book related news...

I'm on chapter 6 of my book that I'm working on. I don't know how good it all is, but I'm very happy that I'm at least finishing it. I usually never pass the chapter 4 mark. I'm going through minor writer's block on chapter 7 (because it's a boring chapter in my opinion XD) but oh well.

I guess that's it as far as updates and such go.

Looks like I really need to take a break after all. It's hiatus time. At least I'm warning you first ?

I still get on DA frequently enough, but I only have time to check out one or two things. I don't really have time to answer comments or anything. I haven't really drawn anything in a couple weeks. =/

It's ONLY TEMPORARY. I mean it.

I just need a break. I'm working hard to finish up this school year. I'm REALLY close to being valedictorian for one thing. (Yeah I'm a super loser nerd surrounded by morons in this school) I probably won't quite make it, but I still wanna put forth that last bit of effort.

Also, I'm in the middle of a video thing I promised to make my drama group. We normally have a big group, but this year there's only about 12 of us. And considering, that's a really small theater class. SO. Since about...8 of us are seniors, I decided we all needed to be able to have something to go back and look at fondly.
So I started taking a camera with me to rehearsals and on trips. I'm halfway done with the video, I'm just needing to do one more song on it.
But it'll take some dedication and lots of time, so that's another reason I can't be around here much.

Plus I haven't gotten to color anything lately either -_-. I have so much begging me to color it, but not near enough time to seriously sit down and get started on it.

It doesn't help that I'm completely and utterly determined to write this book of mine. About 80% of my thoughts revolve around it. If I'm not doing schoolwork or working on the video, I'm writing.

So, while I'm still being productive in art the way of writing, I'm not getting much done around here.

And for that I'm sorry. Mostly because I talk to a lot of you on here and I haven't been responding to messages like I should.
You may not miss the artwork, but it's very rude of me to leave messages unanswered.

I promise that the minute I get back, I'll answer them. But that may not be for a few more weeks.

I haven't had time to get around to all of the comments, but I'm working on it! I got distracted with some artworks, but I promise I'll reply!

As for updates, I'm working on a lot of different stuff right now. Tomorrow I'm going to make a new Dev ID just cause I feel like something a little new.
Then I'll get back onto the other things I was working on.

Also. I'm writing a book. Seriously. I put my mangas on hold on account of too much panelling block. (if you've tried drawing mangas, you know exactly what that is). So I turned to some book ideas I had lying around. I picked one up that seemed simple enough and have been writing on it for awhile now. I'm really determined to publish it someday, so I hope you'll all keep an eye out for it.

Greetings!

I think I'm gonna change my journal layout soon, but I'll have to come up with a nice new banner. So I'll need to be hit with a fit of brilliance soon.

I need that same brilliance for a new DevID too. I love the one I have, but it's time for a new one. I just dunno how I want it to look yet. Darn.

So I had a really really bad week. Long story. But I will let you know that I was at a funeral Wednesday. So you do the math there.

I got back into reading. I forgot how much I loved it. I used to read all the time, but once I got to high school, I kind of just forgot about it. It became more of a hassle than anything else. I couldn't stay focused on a book long enough because of everything else that was running through my head. (Except Harry Potter. I always made time to read the new Harry Potters.)
Anyway. I finally got back into reading and now I can't seem to go anywhere without a book in my hand. XD

ART RELATED.

So after reading the Twilight series thus far, I fell in love pretty quick. I mean, it's a really predictable storyline and the writing style is WAY too easy. (I read all three books in two days. And each book is at least 500 pages.)
But it provides a really nice distraction from the real world. I hate thinking about my life, and I've been doing that WAY too much for WAY too long.
So this series really distracts me. There's some things about Bella that kind of annoy me, but for the most part, I'm a lot like her. -_-

You might be asking how that's art related. WELL. I'm getting to that. Honest. XD

As you may have noticed, in the past day, I've submitted two Twilight related artworks. There's probably a lot more on the way, though I can't predict when I'll get any of them done. (I'm not Alice. XD)

I have a lot of requests I need to be doing as well, but it'll probably be awhile before I get to them. I was doing one after the other a couple weeks ago and got about eight completed. Now I have eight more on the waiting list and I can't seem to make myself draw any of them. I'll get to them hopefully by Spring Break (or during)

This was a fairly long journal so I'll go ahead and end on that note, even though I could probably ramble for at least another five paragraphs.

Hello everyone!

It's been over a month since my last journal so I figure I shall update you on the art aspects (and others) of my life if you feel interested.

Good news, my arm is out of that daggum sling and cast and yadda yadda. The doctor 'suggests' I don't do anything too strenuous with it, but bleh. Whatev. I'm free!!

Also, I donated blood for the first time today.

I hate needles. I'm not scared of them per se, I'm just really uncomfortable seeing them poking out of skin.
But I was determined to contribute my blood to the world and save lives XD So I did it anyway. And geez. When they pricked my finger to check my hemoglobin levels (to see if I was allowed to give blood in the first place) THAT HURT BAD! My finger's still sore lol. And yet my arm which had two pints of blood sucked right out of it feels fine. -_- Oh logic. Why do you fail me?

ART RELATED.

In the middle of quite a few big projects right now, but I'm hoping to work a lot on them this weekend since I have technically a four day weekend. Don't ask. Just know that its AWESOME. XD

The main reason you might have noticed a lack of A Mage's Goodbye as of late is because I was informed by the city that they want me to be their Artist of the Year. And they want to post up a bunch of my artwork in June. Soooooo I'm trying to get a lot of poster-appropriate artworks done in order to have them ready for then.
This also means that after they're done with my posters, I'm going to have a bunch of posters. Of my own art -_-. Maybe I can sell it. But who'd buy it?

ANYWAY. So I haven't had a chance to work much on my manga lately. But that's okay. Maybe I can improve my artwork even more and make the manga look better.

Right so. I'll make this quick since my arm hurts and I have homeworks to do.

I just wanna make a quick apology to those who have comment conversations going with me and I haven't replied to them yet. I know it's not a big deal, but I still feel guilty about it. I just haven't been able to sit and really type responses. Typing with one hand is annoying -_-

Anyways, I promise I'll get to them this weekend since I'll have some time to sit and speed up my typing anyway. Plus there's some art I really want to get done.

((In other news, it seems I've fallen victim to the iAnti windstorm. I used to RP a long time ago at a website with my dear buddies, ~TearaSuzuki and *MessengerSelece.
Those were fun fun times. XD So anyway, I was reminiscing about it one day and decided I needed a little RP back in my life. So that's how I got into iAnti. And luckily I have not become addicted to it, so at least it's not eating away all my time like I worried it would. ))

ALSO! for all you FULL MOON WO SAGASHITE FANS!!! (get your attention ? XD) I started making MMVs (manga music videos) and putting them on my YouTube, which there's a link to at the top of my journals. I've made mmvs before, and I've made hundreds of amvs, but this is the first Full Moon one, so I'd love some feedback:

SUPER HUGE UPDATE!!!!

I BROKE MY ARM @_____@

I'm a tennis kid. (used to be soccer but I've done tennis since I was 11.)
So during the "off season" we condition. And we were practicing jumping from high places to low places. (Why? I honestly don't know. My coach thinks we should jump ?)

ANYWAY. So towards the end, I ended up jumping wrong, therefore the landing was all wrong and I landed with all my weight on my arm (which was outstretched to catch me)

Now, fortunately it was my left hand, so I am able to draw still. But almost everything else is a crapshoot. Because other than writing/drawing, I'm dominate left handed. Which I had NO idea that I was until I find myself without much use of my left hand. I feel so weird -_-

Anyway. I felt like sharing that with all of you.

Stupid useless arm

I can't play Wii games

I can play gamecube games, so I can still play Harvest Moon, cause my thumb works (mostly. Sometimes it gets all cramped up and it hurts a lot)

But anyway. Yeah. News flash for any who are curious.

Anyway! ^^ As I've said, I've been working on my A Mage's Goodbye manga, and all that's really left is actually scanning it into the computer and adding screentones and such. Which will take awhile, but we'll see how long exactly it takes. ^^
After that, I think I'll update my "Shinjitsu No Ai" manga that I have laying around and then post up it's first chapter. I already have about half of the first volume all drawn out, but I did it last year, so its needs some touching up XD

And other than Harvest Moon : Magical Melody eating up all my spare time that's left...that's pretty much it.
Ohh..right. And the fact I'm struggling to memorize a poem in Middle English for school Thursday AND finish off a 35 page packet for Calculus. (which I didn't procrastinate on for once in my life, I just got stuck on the last 5 problems. Stupid stupid Calculus ><

Happy Holidays everyone

So my family all celebrated Christmas yesterday on account of the fact that we couldn't get together Christmas Day. Too many of us are workers and can't get Tuesday off. XP

Anyways, so I already have all my gifts ^__^ We didn't go all out this year like we usually do, but I'm happy with what I got more or less. I got a couple things that will help me make my mangas look more like actual manga pages. I'm very excited.

I also got this Movie editting program thats supposed to be hundreds times better than the Windows Movie Maker I've been using. Now..I haven't really gotten a handle on the new program yet, so I'm not sure what all I can do with it, but here's to hoping!!

Also! I got some new games

I'm having trouble with this Harvest Moon: Magic Melody game though. I'm not entirely sure why, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use my garden-making tools. I'm hoping its just because I need more land or something built. But it's rather frustrating.

Other games I got were Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn!! (I think that's the one...it's for the Wii and its the newest one? ) The game's in the other room so I hope that's the right title XDDD

Soooo. I'm working on my first chapter of A Mage's Goodbye. Because, as promised, I am going to post up the first chapter. (only the first but still) I am still sketching some of the pages, because I'm not happy with all the paneling so I'm changing a lot of it to give it better angles and more variety and better flow. Also I just now figured out a good character design for Kaiya's parents, so I need to practice drawing them a few more times before I can call it good. ^___^

So I felt like it was time for a nice little journal update.

I don't have any big updates except that I have been thinking hard on my manga and I've decided it would be best to not make it an online manga. At least not yet.

I really do want this to be a real manga someday, if possible, not that I'm necessarily counting on that happening, but it's a dream of mine.
Anyway, I will however probably post up the first chapter of it whenever I finish polishing it up just to see what kind of response I get. That way if there's anything wrong with it, I can work on it. Of course, I'm nowhere near ready with the first chapter, but I'm going to work really hard over the holidays with it if I can (though its a SHORT break)

Here's to hoping.

Also, this doesn't mean I won't be posting any manga. I have a lot of different plot lines so I'm sure to pick one of them that I'm willing to turn into an online manga. I'm just not sure if I want A Mage's Goodbye to be the one, you know?

So I'm feeling a little bit better. Thank you everyone who continued to be such wonderful people

I got my wisdom teeth out this week, and while that sounds like something simple, it is VERY MUCH NOT ><. Stupid thing. I got them out on Wednesday, and I'm still feeling like my mouth is on fire. That and my cheeks are still a little swollen, so I look like a chipmunk. (but those are cute, right?)

So anyway, I was bedridden for Wednesday and Thursday, too messed up to do anything art related. And today...I dunno what about today. -_- I just feel bleck.

But on the bright side, before my terrible situation occured, I did finish one deviation which I will post after this journal. I hope it's alright, as its a first for me and I was just messing around and everything.

Anyway, in other news, I'm currently working very diligently on an art portfolio for college. I was accepted, but they haven't asked for a portfolio yet, and since I'm going into a kind of art major, I'm sure they'll ask for one soon enough.

This means I'm working hard on realism and drawing plants and scenery and objects and stuff. I doubt I'll post any of it on here, since I worry no one will believe its my artwork considering how different it looks @_@. I dunno, we'll have to see.

Wow. I feel awful. Have you ever had one of those days where you needed to do so many things, but you couldn't make yourself do any of it?

I have Calculus and English I need to do, but when I pull out the papers, I just stare at them and can't focus on any of the words or numbers. So nothing is getting done. And it's due tomorrow and I'm frustrated.

Also I planned on doing a lot of art today but I haven't done a thing. This whole day was a complete waste. I haven't done anything at all.

And now the day is almost over and I still can't force myself into doing something productive.

I really need something to take my mind off everything. Why does stupid drama have to get in the way of homework and art???

Anyway. Sorry for complaining like that, but I needed some venting. Even if it wasn't much. And I figured I'd let anyone who happened to be curious know why I won't be submitting any art for awhile. (not sure how long. depends how quickly this mood can go away -_-)

Goodbye goodbye dear Thanksgiving holidays. You were so wonderful while you were here....

Though, it started snowing here again around noon and didn't stop. So it's possible we may not have school tomorrow. Well...here's to hoping!!

Awwell. On the bright side, I forced myself to finish my Calculus project, so I'm good either way.

I'm in the middle of about twenty different art-related projects, and it'll probably stay that way forever. It seems I'm always adding things to my list.
But here's a peak at what I've been working on most of today:

Fufufu. The chibi Kaiya in the top right hand corner will make sense. Eventually. Until then though.

I'm actually pretty close to finished with it. But who knows how long the background will take me. XD

And thus concludes this simple update. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! I didn't get to have one this year. =/ It's a long story. It's kind of a bummer though, considering this is going to be my 18th birthday and I'm doing absolutely nothing for it.

I have a lot on my plate over this Thanksgiving break, and I'm not referring to all the wonderful food I'll be having. (Ha. haha...lame pun...ha....

Anyway. There's a lot I want to try and get done, so I'm going to try really hard to motivate myself into doing it. After Legend of Zelda caught my interest all over again for some unknown reason..I've been drawing and thinking about it constantly. I even made a fun little desktop wallpaper. I'm not totally happy with it, but it at least can sit on my desktop and keep me from going crazy.

Alrightie. So I haven't updated my journal in a while and I figured I might as well.

I've drawn a lot of new stuff, but I can't bring myself to actually color any of it, so that kinda sucks. However, I have gotten myself to at least submit minor things, like that "Mage's Goodbye" picture that people actually seemed to like. Which was nice ^^

I also have the strong urge to continue playing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, but my Wii is connected to the main TV in the living room and my parent's are watching sports or something. Oh woe is me and my inability to see those beautiful Fire Emblem characters...

Right. Back to relevant things. Art. I'm working really hard to sketch out my Mage's Goodbye manga, and I've gotten about 26 pages so far, but it's really hard to panel out my ideas. I know exactly what needs to happen next but I can't seem to form it into a good manga page.

Also, I'm having a lot of fun designing characters for this story, since it's going to end up being very "fantasy" like in a way, so I'm enjoying that.

Which reminds me, I'm also writing a novel. It's a storyline I came up with when I was about 11 (I'll be 18 in a week) and kept writing about 3 chapters and then starting over because I read over it thinking "wow, that writing is awful. I need to redo it."
So that's what I've done the past seven years. Now I've finally reached a level of writing that I'm almost content with. Well, content enough not to rewrite it every couple months anyway.
Part of me would like to post up pieces of it to see what you all think, but I'm not sure if I want to yet. Especially if I'm hoping to publish it as a novel someday.

I want it to be a big surprise. But on the bright side, I get to design these characters too...Wooohh...
I love drawing action-like poses now. Mages and archers and knights and such all ready for battle. Wooh. So fun.

That's about it for now I think.......my next kiriban is probably going to be 10,000. Which is a ways away, but that gives me time to prepare for it. And look, it's actually a normal and easy to remember number!

So I felt the need to post a journal. I haven't replied to a lot of comments, and I feel bad, but I lack the ability to take five seconds and reply.

You see, I've been pretty...out of it lately. I rather not go into all the details, but I'm just not feeling up to doing anything. Like breathing. Or moving. Or living.

This pains me though because I run a lot of clubs (why? I don't know...) and I haven't been to them in a few weeks. I know one of them was running a contest which I need to tend to...and I fear for how many messages must be waiting there...but I haven't had the chance to sit down and go through all that. Plus there's all the submissions from members that are a hassle to submit. :sigh: I know. I'm just complaining when I could be trying to do all this stuff. But it's frustrating. And I'm hoping some of the other admins of the clubs will find the time to tend to the clubs in my absence. However, it's felt like I'm the only one out of the two or three other admins in all the clubs I handle actually taking care of the clubs.

But I digress. Sorry for ranting on like that. I'm just frustrated about a lot of things.

I'm also sorry I haven't submitted anything (if any of you would be upset about that...

though I doubt it.) but I haven't had any motivation lately.

I can't even do this stupid calculus homework which is due tomorrow.

Ah. the dramas of life.

Well on the bright side, I got my avatar finally.

So this isn't an actual journal update.

BUT. Remember this picture?:

And I told you that he had a story that I wrote to go along with him. And many of you showed interest in it. ^__^ So I decided to just post it up here in a journal instead of a making a deviation out of it.

Keep it mind it was meant to be written like Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. My Literature teacher told us that it didn't HAVE to rhyme, and that was just extra credit....but as a person who loves writing stories and poetry...I couldn't pass up a chance at making everything rhyme.

SO. Without further ado....(adue? Whatever.)

The Painter's Tale

Prologue:

There was there a Painter of sorts
Who skin was clear of blemishes and warts.
He always carried with him many art supplies
Just in case some vision caught his eyes.
On top of his head was a dark beret
Which became for him an unfortunate cliche'.
His hair was of copper color made
That the power of the sun could never fade.
With a simple wardrobe of shoes, shirt, jacket and jeans,
Splattered with some paint stains that could be removed by no means.
He made little money from day to day
Because generosity was always his way.
He would give away his drawings more often than not
Though art such as his deserved to be bought.
The paintings revealed by this mere mortal
Were certainly a kind of magical portal
To ensnare its viewers within its colors
And beauty unmade by any others.
Therefore was his company easy to enjoy
Despite two years ago he was just a boy.
And so he did join this journey here
Hoping to capture new sceneries with his canvas so near.

now the Painter speaks

I feel I must first give an introduction
Before my tale which must have no interruption.
I live but a humble and quiet life
I ask not for much, no charities or bribes,
But to listen to a story that's surely been told before
Though it's fallen on deaf ears, passed like a molded shell on shore.
I ask that you be no too harsh in your judgment,
For I do believe I am not meant
To tell stories with such fancy words or phrases.
I narrate most often with colorful mazes
With images drawn out instead
Where nothing later need to be read.

You read right. After sketching yesterday, I SCANNED. Woooohhhh. And that means I have sketches from months and months that have piled up finally scanned onto the computer!

I picked a select few to post up here on my journal just to prove I really am sketching and suchness. ^.^

I never draw Ayame or Koga...and I didn't use references, but I wanted to draw them!

This one needs to be redrawn...it's ancient...but I like butterflies..

So school is lame. I think that needs to be stated one more time. So school is lame.

Anyway, I'm annoyed with myself artwise. Not only is inspiration hard to come across, but when I find it, I can't seem to get it down on paper. So I'm going to spend some time doing nothing but sketching poses of all sorts.

I don't care how random or bizarre they are, I must make them come naturally to me. I will practice until poses are easier to pick than the character I'm drawing. Or something..

I did draw a few new things before my frustration attacked me though. I watched the Full Metal Alchemist movie, and in my rage, became obsessed with Winry and Edward.

So I made a music video for Winry (which can be found via the link at the top saying "My Youtube") and have been sketching her ever since. She hasn't come out looking the same in any of my pictures.

Very inconsistant.

But anyway. I thought I'd fill you all in on that before skipping off to my somewhat weekend. I plan to sketch a lot tomorrow, but I say that now and will probably be sitting here late tomorrow night saying "Geez...I didn't draw anything..."

So school is quickly approaching, and I'm running out of time to color for 10 hours a day.

I haven't updated in the past couple days, which is annoying, but I blame many things. And only most of them are my fault.

I've sketched a LOT of things recently, but I don't normally post up sketches, and for the ones that are actually on paper, I rarely scan that often.

My sketches are all asking to be colored, and I've been in a mood where I can't bring myself to actually color any of them. I'm sure if I kicked myself a few times and forced myself to start something, I could finish, but I don't like forcing art. >< It always turns out looking awful.

I also have become somewhat addicted to Ragnarok Online. I swore to myself I wouldn't, and never even bothered signing up, thinking it would just be a waste of time. But the nifty outfits and adorable sprites (or whatever you'd like to call them) finally took their toll on me and I decided to create an account to make some characters just to say I had them.

And then I began to play...and play.

It wasn't part of the plan to become to attached to it, but I suppose I should have seen it coming. I get attached to just about everything I come into contact with, no matter how hard I try not to.

So I have a couple sketches of my iRO character, but they still need some work. And coloring of course.

Nextly on my art update: I tried realism again.

You've all never seen any of it, because I've never been too happy with it...but every now and then I secretly attempt to draw real-looking people. I had more references than I could count before it was all said and done, and ended up drawing the same person over and over again. It had improved since last time, but not enough to reveal it to any of you just yet.

Perhaps someday I'll get it good enough to at least be presentable to you all. Realism. Me.

yeah right. But it's a thought.

I can't give up my current style though. It's too big a part of me.

As far as school goes...this is my last year, and I'm praying for the best. I'll apologize now for the slowing down of art postings, but I'm sure you all won't mind too much. It's not like I won't be posting anything, right?

Thank you very much for reading all of this. I can't express it properly, but it really does mean a lot to me that you take an interest.

So I felt like updating my journal just because.

I just got back from a short trip away from home. It was just for the sake of escaping as my parents' put it.

It was fun though. I got some neat stuff.

I officially have incense sticks. I love them. So soothing. I always see them in shops and think "those would be fun" but never bothered getting them. But something possessed me this time to plead for purchase. I found the best smelling stuff. "China Rain" and "Spiritual Power". So nice. And the board I got to burn them on has pretty stars and a moon on it. I'm burning one now. So lovely. I feel much less stressed.

So. I see there's a new bandwagon on DA. Pixel IDs. It shames me to say I'm working on one myself. Not really for any other reason than it's in a "video game" layout situation. And. I love games. How can I turn my back on it?

I'm listening to soft japanese music, burning incense, and working on this pixel ID.

How weird am I. I should be working on my other stuff. I should be finishing the stuff I'm in the middle of.

Yet here I am.

So I felt like updating my journal just because.

Anyways, my brother handed me Final Fantasy XI, and I'd play it, but I don't want to pay for it.

(FFXI is the online one that costs ya) But I probably will in the far future. Far. Future.

And I'm in a Final Fantasy phase again. I have lots and lots of Tifa and Cloud pictures, and one Aerith one. And there's this Tidus and Yuna one I'm considering coloring right now. Then there's this Rinoa one that's asking me to color it, but I don't want to mess it up.

And I'm listening to a song that works very well for Tifa, Yuna, and Rinoa. Miss You by Sweetbox? Works for all three of them. It's crazy. Even Aerith could use this one. It's really sad, but beautiful and sounds like it's not supposed to be as sad as it is. But I love it. Sweetbox has a way with songs. So now I'm singing badly

Luckily I'm home alone right now or I'd be embarrassing myself.

Okay. So I'm not THAT bad at singing. But. Seriously. Ew.

Also, I've been making music videos like crazy. You can find a few on YouTube. (I'm SasamiInu there too.) I had an account with quite a few videos, but somehow the account got deleted and I'm not sure why. So I had to start a new one.

Another thing I've been doing is making animations. Sailor Moon animations

When I was younger I made up my own Sailor Scouts (naturally) so now I'm animating them for no reason. I've got a bunch done but a lot are still not colored. But they move! Yay moving stuff! That's another reason I haven't uploaded as much as I've been meaning to this summer.

So how many of you caught on to the fact almost all my paragraphs started with an A? Neat, huh?

So, I'm sure you've all seen thousands (well maybe not that many) journals or fanarts (so soon @_@) of the final Harry Potter. ^^ Well here's another that shall be talking about it in parts of it as well!

I'll officially start by saying sorry to those of you who have comments that have not been replied to! I'm so so sorry! I've been busy as of late, what with dear Teara being here, then a exhausting tennis tournament, then Harry Potter, and then having yet another guest staying with us. It's been hectic! But I promise to reply as soon as I can! Really!

First off, saw the 5th movie the day after it came out with Teara. A bit anti-climatic in places, but I cannot deny a childhood love. So naturally, being a Harry Potter movie, I did enjoy it immensely. And not because of the under breath comments made by Teara and I throughout the movie.

Though those made it all the better.

Onto the book. I'm proud to say I was at the "premiere" party for the seventh book on Friday night, dressed up in everything related to Slytherin I could muster up. Now, I didn't pick a character or anything, but I wasn't interested in the costume contest or anything. I just felt like showing my love for Harry Potter (and the color green.

) Many would claim I belong in Ravenclaw, but I stand by Slytherin. And not just for Draco Malfoy. Though I can't say I don't love the guy oh so very much

.

Anyway, I sipped some butterbeer and was one of the first in line to purchase the book at exactly midnight. Now...I read the book as immediately as possible, though my house seems to be the worst place to read a book. This weekend it was anyway. So many distractions and loud noises. How dare they!

But either way, I'm done now and would love to rant a bit. I shall give NO SPOILERS, to those of you who may be reading this and not know what happens. But there shall be minor hints of spoilers, so do beware if you want absolutely no knowledge of what happens. Just skip the next thick paragraph.

First of all!! Two of the deaths were totally uncalled for my friends!! I refuse to accept them! I can understand the others. In fact, I saw them coming long before opening the book to page 1. Many of the main points I had already predicted as well. But how DARE she kill off those two characters! Okay......one of them I'll accept. BUT NOT THE OTHER ONE! I managed to keep crying down to just being "teary eyed" throughout the book, but then...then that person died and I couldn't stand it! It wasn't meant to be!! I WON'T BELIEVE IT! I SHALL DENY ITS EVER HAPPENING!! THAT PERSON SHALL LIVE!!!!!! It's pure blasphemy, that's what it is. How. Dare. She. And there were some loose ends that certainly needed tying. But that's to be expected I guess. Perhaps she wants to us to assume some of the things and how they worked out. The epilogue brought tears to my eyes however, and I laughed a bit. Because who can't love Ron and his humor. But I still love Draco most and he is mine! Not like they said who he ended up with, eh?

Ohohohohohoho. And ah! OLIVER WOOD

There's lots more I'd love to say, but I'll wait a good amount of time to give others a chance to read it before yelling them out.

In other news...........is there other news? Hm....well I drew some fanart of Harry Potter, though that's similar news. I also came up with a short series of arts that you'll get to hear about in my "To Do" list.

I suppose I don't have other news. Is that sad or what? I have senior pictures this week, but that's not important.

Oh! I know! CHRNO CRUSADE! Curse you for being wonderful and terrible all at the same time! I loved Chrono. Love love love love him. If I could cut out the ending, then I would. Surely it could not be avoided but it should have been because it's a manga/anime and that's what they're supposed to do! Avoid reality! How dare they try and drag in reality when I'm delving into a world of imagination! How. Dare. They.
