Here's the deal. Basically, half of the money I get from this will be going towards my college fund, since I only have about $500 and my parents refuse to help at all.

The other half goes to charity. Probably Alzheimer's Research, but possibly Save Darfur, Lymphoma Research, ASPCA, UNICEF... something. I still need to decide which. Hey, maybe a little bit of all of them.

This is just the first volume of many. XD

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS.

The Anime of this month is Angelic Layer!

Angelic Layer was a manga originally created by the infamous manga group CLAMP. The story is about a young girl named Misaki who discovers a game called Angelic Layer. In Angelic Layer, little like, robot doll things battle against each other using thought transfers. Sorry that my explanation kinda sucks. XD

First, we'll start with....

Animation:
This is such a bright and colorful anime. The anime has pretty much stuck with CLAMP's normal drawing style. Though many of the colors aren't exactly what I personally imagined, I got used to them. XD I think my only real complaint is that sometimes the faces look a little awkward. Though many of the backgrounds are GORGEOUS.

Music:
I am IN LOVE with the music of this series. Both the opening and ending theme songs are very addictive, and get stuck in my head easily. The background music of this show is very nice too.

Story:
The story kept everything from the manga, but it also added a lot more stuff to draw it out to 26 episodes. Though many times the added information in a series is silly, most of the new stuff for this show fit in quite nicely. Though in Disc 2 they draw it out a lot and I get very bored pretty quickly. But if you keep on pushing through, it gets better later on.

Character and Voice Actor Analysis:
Misaki: I really admire Misaki's character in both the manga and the anime. I think she's a sweet little girl, though I've never actually thought of her as a very realistic character. Quite frankly, I've never met anyone like her. o-o; She has, in my opinion, a very cute hairstyle.

Her American voice is a little irritating, but I think it does fit her character. I feel pretty much the same way with her Japanese voice as well.

Hikaru: Well, technically, Hikaru HAS no character, since she's only an angel, but I think she stands for courage and determination.

And since she's only an angel, she has no voice actor. XD

Tamayo: I really think she's funny. She made me laugh in both the anime and the manga. She tends to relieve tension too. And her martial art moves? YES.

Her American voice, well, I hate it. XD Although I'm indifferent towards her Japanese voice.

Koutaro: I HATE HIM. I REALLY REALLY DO. D< I'm waiting for him to get hit by a bus or something. I don't think he's a good match for Misaki AT ALL. Maybe he's too timidy for my taste? :/

My parents took me to Philly for the opening night of the opera 'Barber of Seville'. The singers were AMAZING. I was like, holy fuck what kind of lung capacity do these people HAVE!?

Well, when the movie first started, I almost burst into tears of happiness. Same thing happened at Howl's Moving Castle. XD

However, when I actually started watching the movie, I got a little nervous. I wasn't feeling the same love I usually do for Tim Burton's movies. D: I inwardly flipped out, but gave the movie a second chance anyway.

I'm glad I did. IT GOT SO AMAZING WHEN EMILY APPEARED. *_* I really LOVED Victor. Victoria could go die and I wouldn't care. >>; There just wasn't enough time for her character to be developed. I probably would have liked her too.

Emily's love for Victor was sudden, but you know, same thing happened with Romeo and Juliet. So, WHATEVER. XD

LORD BARKIS. Man, I just wanted to rip out his intestines and hang him with them. D: How could he do that to Emily!? And I did feel badly for Victoria. XD

GOD CHRISTOPHER LEE MADE ME LAUGH. XD He was like, in the movie for 5 minutes, but he just MADE ME LAUGH MAN.

The ending, I did cry though. Oh Emily. ;_; All the little kids around me stared cause I'm crying like a baby, applauding and standing. And pretty much everyone is like, wtf? by this point. XD;

BUTTERFLIES. Reminded me of Loveless butterflies man. XD

CROWS. TIM BURTON HAS A CROW FETISH. XD Parodies The Birds. Love Alfred. <3

I had about 70% of the first episode done pretty quickly, and then all of a sudden, it stopped (no one was online other than myself). So I was like, ok, I'll continue later. I log back on, and all the information was gone and it had to restart. Only now, like, everyone's done. T_T; So for some reason, everything I try to download well, DOESN'T download. ARGHHHHH! All I want is some freakin Tsubasa Chronicles, the first episode of Loveless (so I can see what the fuss is about), Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, and the third Inuyasha movie. Well, I've decided - I'm going to just draw and sell stuff. ToT I'm making a NaruSasu drawing at the moment. I REALLY need money for a Dollfie. XD Money that I get from my job and allowance is being saved towards Otakon and cosplaying (planning on going as Edo-kun ) so the only way I can get money for a Dollfie is through here.
