I don't update my journal very often do I? Sorry about that.

This fall I started my third year at upper secondary school. The first term is soon finished, and Christmas is just around the corner..time sure flows by quickly. As a project this year I'm working on a comic/manga, and the work is processing rather well. It's my first comic ever, and I try to learn as much as I can from working on it. :)
I'm also working on my first cosplay, Hikaru from Magic knight rayearth by Clamp. It's fun, though tricky sometimes. Thanks to this cosplay my interest in sewing has increased in general. Before I started working on it I didn't like to sew very much, but now I enjoy it much more. :D

Sorry if I'm late with commenting on deviations, I'll try to catch up every now and then when I'm able to. I'll also try to update and upload new art more often when I'm free.

I decided to try out a journal skin, since we "non paying" members can use them for a limited time. I liked this one, I think it's cute :heart:

Like drawing for exemple :heart:

In my third, and last year of school I'll be making a comic as a project, so I'll be working on a story for it during my vacation. I hope I'll manage to come up with some good ideas for it. Maybe I'll put up some character designs here on dA later on... ;)

Today my sis is headed of to Norway, she is going to work there during the summer. I'll accompany her on the way there today, and help her unpack and such in the apartment. I'll miss her of course, but it's not a very long period she'll be working, and she'll come home and visit us at least once ^__^

I'm participating in a Clamp fanbook project at livejournal, and I'll contribute with a fanart and a letter for the book. The deadline is a month away, and that may seem like a long time, but I'm still a bit worried since I haven't come up with a good ideas for my fanart yet... *think think*

Anyway, I hope you all had a good start on the new year! A while ago I visited my first anime/manga convention, and I really had a good time there :D I went together with my sis
:iconleonora86: , :iconoak-child: and my cousin who isn't a member here. :icondreamingvampire: should have come as well, but things got in the way, and she couldn't come along unfortunatly. :( I saw lots and lots of cosplayers, I actually wanted to cosplay as well but I didn't make it on time... But I've promised myself that I will cosplay on the next convention I will visit. Among others we saw a guy cosplaying Lelouch from Code geass who looked so cool, his outfit was perfect :heart: and he acted like him all the time as well :XD: even in the sleepinghall (we slept in the same hall as he did ^^) you could see him pose, or swing around with his cloak. :XD: . I also saw a very good Fay (from Tsubasa reservoir chronicle) who also had an amazing costume and staff as well. She who cosplayed him won a price in the competion for best likeness. You could always see were the Fay cosplayer was because of the long staff was always visible in the crowd.

There were alot of people there, and you could buy all sorts of things, jewellery, books, dvd, figures, bags, pillows etc. Though the weekend wasn't exactly problemfree, unfortunatly we had some problems that dragged our moods down a couple of times, but it all workes out in the end thankfully. So I'm not gonna bore you with the details. We also watched e.g. the amv competition, and a concert with YMCK - a japanese 8bit musicband, they were really funny and cute ^^

Outside the window it's pitch-black right now, and unfortunatly we don't have any snow to lighten it up. I really hope it will come for christmas at least. It's so cosy sitting inside, reading a book or drawing while it's snowing outside ^__^ My christmas vacation starts next friday, it feels like this term has flown by quickly, but as they say - when you have fun time goes faster :)

2. KuroxFay (From Tsubasa reservoir chronicle)
Love this pairing, I think they fit each other well, and there are many hints between them in the series. They are like yin and yang, opposites attract each other, I think they are a great match.

3. EdxWinry (Fullmetal alchemist)
They are really adorable, and funny together ^^ And in the manga it's a fact that at least Winry is in love with Ed..

4. EmmaxWilliam (Victorian romance Emma)
Another obvious couple, but I like them lots! They really fought hard for their love, and they fit each other really well.

5. SorataxArashi (X)
Yes I know, another couple that is official. I really like both Arashi and Sorata and I really wish for their happiness. (Hope that clamp will finish X so we'll know if that's gonna happen) They fit really well together, Arashi needs someone who she can loosen up with, and Sorata needs someone like Arashi who is more "down to earth" as to speak.

6. DoumekixWatanuki (xxxHolic)
Opposites attract each other? XD (Kinda like KuroxFay in that remark.) I think it's obivious that Himawari only likes Watanuki as a friend and her part in the story keeps getting smaller, meanwhile Doumeki has always played an important part, And (eg Yuuko says) that Doumeki and Watanuki have become more close, and I think so too.
(It was hard to chose only 6, I like many ^^; )

Now I finally feel the spring is here, it's already May now and flowers are blooming everywhere. In one and a half month my first year at secondary school is over and I will have a long summer break :). I have searched for summerjobs though haven't got any replies if I'm hired yet. I am working on a couple of pics (though many of them are only in the "idea stage" for the moment, though as soon they are finished I will put up them here ^^)
I am currently competing in the Okami contest here, of course I would be very happy if I managed to win, though my hopes aren't especcially high, the other contestants are very talented, still it's fun only to be a part of it too :D

I'm currently reading The farseer: Royal Assasin by Robin Hobb,( it's swedish name is Vargbroder.) I like it alot, the story is really captivating and it's written very well. One of my favorite characters except the maincharacter himself if the fool, he is charming somehow and funny. :D I also like Ärlig (don't know his name in english), Burrich and Chade. I would like to make a fanart to this book, I hope i can get the inspiration to fullfill it.

When I was younger I loved Sailor moon, but then I only watched the anime, so now I have started reading the manga, it's pretty fun to compare them, see the differences and so. I still like Sailor moon, it has a special place among the anime/manga series I've watched/read I think. Maybe I will put up some fanart of it I have made :)

I have finished reading the RG- Veda manga a while ago, I really liked the series overall, though can't say the same about the ending unfortunately. So many people I liked died, and some I didn't like survied *cough* Taishakuten*cough*...
I liked Kendappa, though she seemed a bit strange at times, but in the end I didn't understand her at all... She was willing to kill the one she loved and herself for her old promise to herself, saying to Souma that she couldn't break it for anything, and that she'll rather kill her herself than seeing Taishakuten do it. Maybe that was supposed to be herotic or romantic though I don't think that was her thing to decide, how Souma should die that is. There was a possibility that they could both have survived though she didn't want to belive that, she couldn't betray Taishakuten for anything in the world. And poor Ryuu, killed by Ashura, his dear friend, and Karura by Taishakuten... I wonder how Ashura was able to continue to live while knowing the fact that it was his fault that they all died. Well he has Yasha, but still that burden must be extremly heavy to carry. Ashura was already depressed because his mother didn't want him, and now this too.. Clamp didn't want him to be happy it seems ^^; We finally got to know Taishakutens reasons also. Though everything he did didn't lead to his wish coming true, but the reverse, it was his fault that he almost broke it. If he hadn't killed those people, the six stars wouldn't have gathered and rebel against him, and Ashura wouldn't awaken and want to destroy everything as his father had seen would happpen.
The fact that he ate the former Ashura-ou after killing him was really disgusting also >.<
I liked the way the manga style eveloped through the series, many mangakas' styles do after a while and I think that's good, they develop the characters and make them look better ^^

I have started reading RG-Veda now, and I like it very much, so I have drawn fanart of some character in that series, I will put them up at a later time too, so now you have something to look forward to ;)

I have watched the second Tsubasa OVA, and I liked it very much though the animation wasn't as steady as in the first part. My favourite scene was the one were Kurogane was holding Fay :heart:
My sis has got her drivers license now and I'm happy for her, in march it's my turn, then I will start training on driving. I hope I won't wreck mom's car in the process ^^; We'll see how it goes...
Two days ago they aired a documentry about J.K Rowling's year while writing the seventh Harry Potter book, I had wanted to see that since I read about it on the internet but I didn't think it would air in Sweden but it did thankfully :D It was fun to see.
I don't have so much more to say right now, I will try to update quicker next time, see ya! :hug:

The seiyuu's did a good job too, but in the beginnning it felt a bit weird seeing them talk with those voices since I relate them so much with the anime. But still they were probably the best ones to do the job of voiceacting the group.

Even though I think they were able to fit in quite much in this part I
still wonder how they will be able to fit the hole Tokyo arc in only three parts.. I hope it will turn out fine. ^^

I have finally finished reading the seventh Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the deathly hallows. It took awhile - over 3 months actually... But after all it was the last book and I didn't want to read it too quickly. I liked the book, alot, and I was satisfied with the ending, even though there were a couple of things I would have liked to know that wasn't mentioned, for example which job Harry got (EDIT: I read on jk rowling's official site that Harry became a auror and he became head of the department at the age of 27 )or what happened to the rest of the Weasly family. But I guess Joanne leaves that to the readers imagination *sigh*...
I admit that I was fooled by Snape, he acted very well. After reading the sixth book I thought that he was on Voldemort's side. I thought the idea of Dumbledore wanting Snape to kill him was a bit absurd, but I was totally wrong. ^^; I still liked Snape but I like him better now.
I miss Fred, I know many people expected a Weasly to die but I got really chocked when he did and Lupin and Tonks too...... :cries:
I liked the scene between Harry and Voldemort but I think Voldemort died a little easy, I thought that there was going to be a huge battle between them, but they mostly talked and the fighting bit was over very quickly.
I was suprised when JK Rownling in an interview said that Dumbledore was gay, I hadn't though of him that way and I thought that she would a leave thing like that to the readers imagination but I am happy she did tell us though. It was fun to know ^^
I have alot of more things I could say about the book but I'll think I will leave it at that.

I'm very happy because I have found out that a Tsubasa reservoir chronicle OVA will be realesed at the end of this year. I'ts called Tsubasa TOKYO RELEVATIONS and its quite obvious that it's going to be about the Tokyo arc. Production IG will animate it so I hope it will be good!
