Okay, enough about the fanbrat...

I start my sophomore year at CBU on Tuesday. Gonna hate adjusting back to it all. I despise class, I really do. So burnt out on it. But that's okay, two days a week this semester. I think I can deal with that.

And I have to come up with $130 by next Thursday... *cries* I don't know if I can do it. Hopefully I'll get a fair bit of that selling some books back to the CBU bookstore (another group of people that are ignorant...).

And my DDR pad malfunctioned... grr.

But, for the most part, I'm in a better mood these days. Even if I'm in a bad mood, usually it's just a mood swing that'll go away within an hour or two... I think I'm bipolar... Hyper me can't be slowed down. Depressed me beats on walls and cracks it... whoops? But it never lasts long, and for the most part, I'm happy and content with my share.

Oh yes... just felt like talking a little... no one's around to talk right now. Just my dad playing Rock Band. *laughs* It's nice. I can sing my little heart out.

In a way that has sparked some very interesting thoughts in my mind. Take... me, for example, and one of my statements about myself.

"I don't like soda."

It's true that I don't drink soda at restaurants. I won't order soda from McDonalds with my grilled chicken club (no mayo). I tend to avoid it at home.

But I will drink it in some instances, and it won't be bad. It's not that I don't like soda. I just don't prefer it.

So why say that I don't like soda?

I've also noticed that some people lie to hype up a stereotype or set image of themselves they want people to have of them.

"I don't like sweets."

Said by a slender beauty queen to the general public. But her friends may know the truth. She likes candy and chocolate. She just doesn't want to like them. So she tells people she doesn't like them to make it real for herself.

"I'm self-conscious and my self-esteem suffers." Said right before the statement of "I'm totally awesomer than you and my makeup always looks awesome."

See my point?

"I don't talk with my mouth full." Said with a mouthful of hamburger.

"I don't ever yell at you!!" Yelled from 3 feet away.

"I'm always open to new ideas, but..." Said overriding one of your opinions.

"I do not talk to you condescendingly." Said like a mother would say to her two-year-old child.

Why do we lie? To make ourselves feel better about ourselves? To increase sympathy? To gain respect or admiration? To impress? To cover our own ass?

I'm tired of the lies. Feel better about yourself some other way. You're not getting any sympathy. No one will respect or admire you. You're not impressing anyone. Stop covering and start fixing.

Humanity tends to be pathetic.

The first was scary. I would walk through my house, and everywhere along the wall, my name would appear. Sometimes my initials. Sometimes nicknames, old and new. Then the walls would reach out and grab me, and I would scream and fight, until once while struggling, I was cut. My blood smeared over my name, and suddenly I was free... So I went around, cutting and scratching myself to rub my blood on the walls to get whatever was after me to leave me alone.

The second was scarier. As I was walking back through the house, there were people standing around, and they were talking and laughing and pointing and mocking.

"You're always alone. You must like it."

"Why? You must not love your family anymore."

"Where's your heart? You don't have one!"

"How can you say you love them?"

"How can you say you're in love?"

"Break up with the bitch. Be normal. Then you'll have a heart."

"Man and woman. MAN and woman. Get it right!"

"You don't have enough emotion left in you to care either way, do you?"

There was a massive barrage... so many I can't remember them all, but in the back of my mind, they hurt... but it kept coming, so eventually I became numb to it.

I think I'm still numb today... when I woke up, I just wanted someone to hug. No one was there... so I shrugged it off and threw myself out of bed. I think I should have hugged myself at least.

I've had little to no emotion to day - other than frustration, and a bit of sarcastic amusement.

It's... scary. And I'm hoping that that's my emotion coming back to me...

And when I say ‘amazing’, I use the term loosely. Because there are no words to accurately portray my feelings on the past week.

Flying has never been easier than setting foot onto that Atlanta-bound airplane. I wasn’t afraid. No claustrophobia, no motion sickness, no fear of heights. Just a burning desire to land and run to my love once more.

That rose meant more to me than any other sort of flower anyone’s ever given me, you know? I’m sure it wasn’t special to anyone else who might have seen it, but I was touched. She just smiled at me.

Even though my body decided to be mean to me and make me sick and there was an over-abundance of feminine hormones flying around that entire week, I cannot recall ever smiling quiet that much. And there was nothing relatively special about the week. We made a few trips to downtown Atlanta and a few shopping trips, but no epic journey or adventures.

It was her. All her.

I was more than content to lay in her bed all day. It wasn’t really the scent, or feel of the sheets beneath me. It was the feel of nothing but her. Her bed. Her essence. Her room. Her home. I don’t think I’ll ever be in a more beautiful place.

The week wasn’t perfect at all. I had my “girly time”. I had a sever allergy attack. I lost my freaking credit card.

But it WAS perfect all at the same time.

Every night we spent wrapped up in each other’s presence and – more often than not – each other’s arms. We spent the day laughing and just being together. And silly. Lots of silliness. The food was to DIE for. At least from my perspective…

I bought her a ring…

I finally got a glimpse of her in her own territory. And it was amazing. Just the same as she’s always been. Just so different. Confident as ever. Carrying herself in a way I’ve never seen. More beautiful than she’s ever been.

I thought you only ever fell in love with someone once.

And in the end when we both were hiding our tears from each other, I found it in me to smile because even though there’s all this space between us, it’s not enough to make me forget her, or to make my feelings wane, or to make me reconsider our relationship.

And that sushi was awesome.



To my love:

I love you so much. Words can’t express this feeling. It took all the willpower in the world to turn and walk away from you and onto the plane. I wanted to turn around and come back, beg you to take me home with you because I just couldn’t bear to leave you. I couldn’t stand the thought of going back to my ordinary life where I am. But I knew that staying would only cause more trouble than anything. Our worlds can’t connect yet. It was only the thought that one day they will and one day we’ll never have to be separated that made me turn around, hold my tears, and take my seat on the plane.

Even while I’m writing this I’m tearing up. I want to be back there with you. Curled up in your bed. Just being together. Watching the way that ring glistens on your finger. I don’t want you to be sad. I want you to look at your ring and think of me and smile. Cause I’ll be back. Sooner or later. I’ll be back.

I hate being stuck here. It's not fair and I want out. I'm tired of sitting and waiting and watching and not learning. I'm tired of the hypocrisy. The blood flows the same through my body, though; there’s no change there.

In the months recently gone by, I stopped myself and wondered.

Is this love?

But if I had to question it then it wasn’t real, I knew this much about myself.

Stifled a little yawn as I saw the flashing screen.

Dried my eyes as the voice died away.

Smiled to myself when the bed shifted beneath me.

The heartache of loss, the pain of reject, the pleasure of love: they all seem to go together.

For me, at least.

But this is only after I could look into the sun and admit my feelings.

My voice is still weak, unused and quiet.

My heart can only fill some of the silence, so I’m learning to grow.

Some things need to be taught.

I need all the patience in the world.

But I’ve learned to sleep at night.

But I feel like rambling a bit.

Apparently, that last little bit of maturing involves the thinking of thoughts I never thought I'd think.

College is boring. These almost hour-long drives twice a day are already taking a toll on me... And I've never wanted to move out of my parents house so badly before.

I'm more emotional than ever before, easily disturbed and easily intrigued.

I'm more quick to jump into a temper or call a bluff.

Not as bothered when I'm told I came out wrong...

I guess there's only so many times you can hear "You're warped and wrong, but I love you" before you start to ignore it.

And stop believing both statements.

I guess it's part of growing up.

Adjusting...

Well I'm ready to adjust myself for something to start going right.

Things aren't bad... but I wouldn't call them good either.

I'm lonely all the time, but I don't want the company of my parents.

I fluctuate between not eating nearly enough and eating decently.

I'm losing the appeal of nearly everything I've had.

Holding onto my Light as tightly as I can for fear of falling and never getting back up.

But I'm okay. For now. I'll be 18 in only a few weeks.

Then things will be more than okay.

1.Water is my 'thing'. Seriously... it's like... my muse. It does everything for me. Comforts me, arouses me, makes me happy and sad and angry... I love watching it swirl and droplets form and fall... I just love it in general. XD

2.I just started my first semester at Christian Brothers University. I have a few accquaintances, but no friends yet. I don't feel bad, though. XD None of the freshmen do.

3.I was obsessed and in love with Inuyasha for a solid three years of my life. He's still a pretty damn fine dog demon.

4.I was actually accepted into Rhodes College (Yeah, the Rhodes Scholar namesake) but through a series of events in which my high school hated me, I could not attend.

5.For my 18th birthday in September, I wanna either get my ears pierced again or get my tattoo. I doubt I'll be doing both right now.

6.My mother wants me to be 'normal'... if only she knew. XD

Thinking back to the note and why I was crying in the first place…

It really took me by surprise when my hand paused mid brushstroke and the paint across the canvas seemed to freeze.

My eyes scanned over the half-completed representation of our combined feelings.

The light source cast the shadow of my hand and brush back toward me.

Unremarkable as I’m sure the scene was, my chest gave a pleasant little thump.

That’s when I realized just what had happened.

I didn’t tear up again.

Just smiled and moved my brush right along its path to complete my work of art.

The world kept turning and no one, not even you, knew what had just happened.

But I’d finally finished my fall.

I'm still squicky about Zack's voice.... It did a weird cracking thing in AC when Cloud was having those flashbacks, and it just sounds too rough for Zack.... Meh. Maybe Gippal needed a cough drop.

Kioshi Daniel Davenport-Gin. People call me Kio sometimes.

Eh… old enough, let’s put it that way. M’birthday is September 2nd.

3. Where were you born? Where do you live now? Are you patriotic?
I was born in my parent’s living room; I live with my husband and daughter now; Sure - LONG LIVE AMERICA…. AND JAPAN! 8D

4. Who are/were your parents? (Names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
My kaasan is Sassy Danielle Uzumaki Kou Minamino Gin. Tousan is Inuyasha Gin. Kaasan’s very… headstrong, but she loves us all – all 19 of us. Tousan… he’s complicated, but he’s my dad and I love him for it. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for his family.

5. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
I have 18 siblings… yeah, I know. Someone should have locked my mom up. We’re all in varying states of sanity.

6. What is your occupation?
I play lead guitar for Tempted Luck. Yeah, I’m THAT Kio.

7. How tall are you? How much do you weigh?
6’0” and round abouts 160-170. I have muscle, thanks.

8. What color is your hair? What color are your eyes?
Hair is silver, sometimes blond. Eyes are gold, sometimes violet.

Three-quarters inu-youkai. The rest of me is human.

Uh… good question. I’m not rich or anything, but my parents are, and Tempted Luck is getting bigger… whatever.

Heh. I’m fine and I know it. Others do too. My milkshake brings all the girls AND boys to the yard.

Anything that won’t clash horribly with my hair. You’d be surprised what does… I usually wear dark colors, but not just black. Reds and blues look okay on me.

13. Do you have any scars? Tattoos? Birthmarks? Other unique physical features?
Not so many scars. I don’t scar easily. Two tattoos – one on my hip and another on my shoulder blade. No birthmarks to speak off… I have lots of piercings. Heh. *sly grin*

14. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Uhm…nope.

Right-handed, like the majority of my siblings.

1) I’m NOT gay! I’m really NOT!! I just happened to fall in love with a guy… 2) Very few people have ever seen me in my adult years with my hair down and all my piercings out. Feel lucky if you have. 3) And I’m not in denial about my insecurity.

As often as I can. I love baths – and showers. Cologne, yes.

Humm… I think my earliest memory is of a storm when I really little. I was crying and Kaasan wasn’t there, and I was scared, but Tousan came in and picked me up and told me it was okay and stayed with me until the storm went away.

I graduated high school… didn’t go to college because I wanted a music career. Hated every minute of school.

My dad. He taught me everything I needed to know.

1 – The way it manages to incorporate all the different worlds of Disney while still having its own story and setting.
2 – Probably the way the characters are all introduced and developed. They tend to intrigue me the most.

4 – The way the story plays out. It’s very… different.
5 – The way each and every version of the story is timeless.

1 – The way the majority of the Nobodies get almost no characterization. They have stories too, why not tell us?
2 – The way Cloud goes from being the most hilarious hero ever to an emo hero… and Zack dying. Oh, and Hojo. Nasty creeper.
3 – The repetitiveness. Every episode is the same over and over and over again.
4 – Half of the game could have been taken out without losing any of the plot.

ShinRa No. 26 just crashed into Meteor and it didn't do a freaking thing... made it look more intimidating cause now instead of one meteor, there's one big one and a lot of little ones!

Yay, we love ShinRa!

No wonder the Planet is screaming at them...

Anyway, I visited the Waterfall Cave and saw Lucrecia. You know, I watched my dad play through the whole of Dirge of Cerberus and I didn't know that she was Sephiroth's mother... wow, I'm observant.

I thought after Aerith got shishcabobed the game wouldn't be nearly as funny anymore. Whelp, I was wrong. Cloud cracked me up when he got claustrophobic in the submarine. XD

Oh, and last night I played through Mideel... oh god... I seriously almost had a breakdown when they found Cloud and he had mako poisoning. ;_; It was so... sad.

Then after that I enjoyed going through his subconscious cause now thanks to that and Jedi, and I understand. Confusing game...

I've been looking over the battle strategies for fight Seph and all the Jenova things. (Yes I cheat and have a guide. Bite me.) Wow... I think I need to go train my peeps a bit. Cloud's only at level 51.

Anyway, I know I'm bound to be past the halfway point now cause I've got all the huge materia and Meteor is loooooooooooming over the planet.

Chyeah. Cloud's gonna whoop somebody's butt.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

Been playing alot of Okami recently now that I've beaten FFX and X-2.

Start classes again on Monday. Oh, the joy.

So I'm making this last week count before I have to crack down again. Oh, the joy.

Been doing alot of thinking in this past month.

And, well, it's not everyday you come to a conclusion like I did.

But I won't let it get me down.

I'm much more fun to be around when I'm happy.

And watching some recent videos on YouTube makes me see just how much I wish... not that I had different friends, but that we could all be together to act crazy and stuff. But, well, we're so scattered... eh...

But, as I say, it's better if I'm happy.

Really, though, when I think about it... I've met people on the internet much more fun to talk to than some of my friends.
