OK, OK, SHUT UP.
I'm in an oddly giddy mood (I get to go on a "date/not date" tomorrow!)and I decided a good update was in order.
I'm still hoping someone would be kind enough to donate a sub, but nobody has done so yet.
Anyways...
Let's all look forward to the next Naruto Shippuuden movie, which is premiering in Japan on August 2nd! I personally can't wait to see it (have you SEEN the previews!? It's like "OMG, SASUNARU PLZ." so I'm psyched!).

Also the main soundtrack for the movie has the song "No Rain No Rainbow", by Home Made Kakuzu, the same band responsible for that awesome song "Nagareboshi", which was the first Shippuuden ending theme.
Let's take a look at the manga for a moment...
Some people are starting to doubt Kishi-sensei, saying that he's lost his touch and that the series isn't as entertaining.
I halfheartedly agree...I miss the chances to look for SasuNaru hints...
But I also think we should all stand behind Kishimoto 110%!!
Though, I must admit....Akatsuki Sasuke?
WTH.
BUT I LOVE THE EIGHT TAILS' HOST!!! OMG, HE'S SO FUN.

Has anyone else noticed the renewed vigor with which SasuNaru fans are being attacked by flamers? O3O
I noticed, and while I have yet to be attacked, I urge you all not to act TOO blood-thirsty.
We can be just as mature as anybody, don't let anyone get you angry over trivial matters. Just smile, nod, and tell them that they are entitled to their opinion, and you to yours.

An exclusive interview with AU Contest Winner, !!!!!


SxN-Club: How long have you been drawing SasuNaru?

Trition: About… probably a year and a half now! I’m still a bit of a noob to anime and manga, they were the first shounen-ai/yaoi couple I ever drew or, well really knew about, I didn’t even know what shounen-ai or yaoi were when I first drew SasuNaru!

SxN-Club: When/how did you become a SasuNaru fan?

Trition: I started drawing SasuNaru when I first started watching anime and reading manga. Naruto was the second anime I ever sat down and watched seriously, the first was host club!
As to how I became a fan, mostly out of curiosity. I live in what’s considered the “gay” part of Sydney, and so I grew up with a transvestite for a neighbor and my best friend had two mums. But in writing, drawings, famous art works, galleries, there was no mention of these of people, yet there is sooooo much talk about love! So when I discovered this huge fandom I was instantly swept away! The other person I have to thank is one of my friends , she was the one who first supported me in my art.

SxN-Club: Got any SasuNaru fetishes? What do you like to see in the pairing?

Trition: I really like to see love. Yea…okay, obvious and tacky, but it’s true. I find, especially when reading fan fiction, that if their love isn’t built up to or has a justified past and SOMEHOW they just instantly “fall in love” and the flowers sprang from the ground and smiled up at them while singing ‘love is in the air’ in soprano, quite frankly, a load of bull. Wow…that was a really long sentence… anyhow…as for fetishes…that’s for me to know and you to find out!!! (Actually, I just can’t think of any… -gets shot-)
Oh! Actually I can think of two, I think Naruto looks really good in knee-high boots, as dose Sasuke make a fabulous ‘Alice in wonderland’… or Lolita in general.

SxN-Club: What else do you like to draw?

Trition: I love to paint and draw architecture, though I normally don’t post those… haha!
I draw kingdom hearts characters a lot, I love their costumes (I;m part of a costume design club). Ah! Something I’ve noticed I draw a lot, is people looking like their about to jump…is that weird?
Probably is. One thing I really hate about my drawing style though is the fact I am very conservative. I use bland normal colours, and basic black lineart. Try to be a little more original, that’s my next big task!

SxN-Club: Any original stories that you do?

Trition: I don’t write any original stories, though I do write songs sometimes. I also love to make up the characters for stories to come but, alas, my plot line/story writing skills are little less than lacking. Generally, my stories are like reading a report on “how to butcher the English language”.

But apart from my massive lack in skills I absolutely love reading other peoples stories!

SxN-Club: Got a favorite SasuNaru artist? (Not limited to dA)

Trition: So…many…favorites…but generally my favorite sasunaru artists are sasunaru doujinshi
Artists, because it takes a whole other level of commitment to make doujins, there’s plot line, character development, page layout (This, I suck at.), script, sound effects and on top of all that, your not just drawing one picture, your doing HEAPS per page…the thought makes my head hurt…

SxN-Club: Any other Naruto pairings that you prefer?

Trition: No, SasuNaru is my number one. It was my first and still is my fav, but I also really like NaruSasu either way as long as they’re together in the end! Other than that I’m not particularly discriminate with my couplings, Oh! That’s right, a really weird coupling that I never thought in a million years I would like but ended up being really cute was (don’t shoot me) JiraOro when they were young, give it a search there are some surprisingly good fan fictions!

SxN-Club: Do you plan on furthering your artwork, gonna be big and famous enough to give us all free stuff?

Trition: Yea I sure do! I just have to get used to using a tablet and painting on paint programs and hopefully (If I don’t give up!) you will see more drawings in the future…as for famous, I don’t think so…I’m too lazy to be consistent! Haha!

SO, I decided that we should start looking a bit more at the theory of SasuNaru.
WHY do we like it?

Oh my god, guys, I am SOOOO sorry!
I honestly lost track of the date, and I know I said I'd update on the 10th....ehehe, gomen, gomen.
Now, onto important things:
While they're not closed, I'd like submissions and join requests to slow down a bit, I still have about 36 notes to go through and stuff.
Therefore, a new rule:
For each member, there can only be up to 3 submissions to the club each month, and I'd prefer all submissions to be sent at the same time, as in being in one note.
With that out of the way, I'd like to re-open the AU contest.
Here are the rules for anyone entering, pay close attention this time, guys!

CONTEST THEME: Best AU picture!!

Rules: Only one entry per person, and it must be SasukeXNaruto.
For those of you who don't know, when something is AU, they're not in their own universe, so they cannot be in the regular Naruto world!!
A good example of AU is a modern high school. *coughmydoujinshicough*
The picture WILL NOT be accepted if it is not in color, sorry for anyone who disagrees with this rule, but I thought it might provide some enthusiasm.

VOTING: Voting will take place on May 1st!!
Voting will be on the club site, as usual, but by then I should be able to actually update the site and not make it suck.
Just a reminder for the voters: Look at art quality, AND the AU idea, if it's original, then give it a shot!!

IMPORTANT: You can start immediately, but entries will not be submitted to the club. (We're still trying to catch up after the hiatus) after you finish your entries, you can go ahead and submit it to your own account, but do note send us a link until April 30th!
After that I will put them on the site.

So I have a new system to deal with this.
Those of you who are in the BSC know of their “ Points ” system. This is similar, but it’s more of a disciplinary action…

(Key words in bold to get the point across)

If a NON-MEMBER favorites a CLUB SUBMISSION, they will be BLOCKED from the CLUB PAGE.

If a MEMBER favorites a CLUB SUBMISSION, they will be WARNED, VIA NOTE.

If a MEMBER favorites a CLUB SUBMISSON, AND HAS ALREADY BEEN WARNED, they will be BLOCKED from the CLUB PAGE for a period of 7 days.

If a MEMBER favorites a CLUB SUBMISSION, AND HAS ALREADY BEEN WARNED and BLOCKED ONCE, they will be BLOCKED PERMANANTLY, AND THEY WILL BE REMOVED AS A MEMBER.

THIS RULE APPLIES TO ALL SUBMISSIONS, UNLESS THE SUBMISSION SAYS OTHERWISE.

My life is still kinda fucked up, but it's more or less under control.
Heres the situation how I see it; My grades, while still mediocre, should be stable for awhile. I have caught up on my math work and shouldn't be threatened with academic detentions anymore.

Friday morning, at 5:22am, Kylie Elizabeth G. was born. She weighs 7 lbs, and 10 ounces, and is -something-or-other- inches long. She, THANK FUCKING GOD, does not look like her father, and holds a strong resemblance to her mother. THANK GOD. I MEAN, SERIOUSLY. O_O;

On a lighter note, for my schools halloween dance, I WAS NARUTO! But I dun have the jacket....so I dressed up like he was in the third movie!

There are 2 contests starting up!
