Okay so Brawl is amazing. Story mode is okay... it's too long I think! But maybe I'm just lazy, so whatever.

In other news, my wisdom teeth were removed today. It was not bad at all... pretty much I went in there freaking out, about to cry. I was mainly worried of how it would be to be knocked out... I dunno being knocked out is so weird to me. It's like sleeping, but no dreaming. It just scares me a little. First they put me on laughing gas, which was the worst part... I felt so uptight because it was really hard to breath and I felt like I was suffocating or something... they put the IV in, knocked me out... I remember just kind of falling asleep, haha. And then I briefly woke up; I remember the nurse or doctor saying something about a wheelchair. I do not remember the wheelchair itself. I'm mad, I've always wanted to be in one and I can't even remember. D:< Next thing I remember is driving in the car, my mouth rather numb but not hurting. It still doesn't hurt, and isn't numb anymore.


So there's my long, probably boring, description of the wisdom teeth experience. I can't eat solid food. Probably won't be able to for a week... luckily the drugs they used made my hunger go down. Soo I finished my colour painting in class. Of course I forgot to snag the picture file onto my flashdrive... so I'll post it once spring break is over. Since the bar for spring breaks was raised to infinite heights, I'm not particularly excited. There's some fun stuff happening... but no way it can top last year. Nothing can. Except this summer. Here's what I have planned:

So, as you may know, I'm taking painting in school... and my still life is almost finished! I think that it turned out well... It's surprising to me how natural oil painting is when I've never done it before. It sucks though, because I think I'm allergic to the paint thinner. ;_; My hands have been so dry and gross...

I HAVE A NEW FAVORITE SHOW. PROJECT RUNWAY!!! It's basically American Idol with fashion designers, but it's 1000000x more cool. It's really gotten me into doing stuff like that... designing. I want to make my own clothes now, lol. Anyways, I like Christian... I think he'll win. He'll defiantly be in the top 3. I think Julian and Rami will be in the top 3 too... if Rami doesn't drape anymore. I can see him draping in tonight's challenge for wrestling clothes. xDD Omg, hahaha... sorry;; Sweet Pea, she's okay as a designer, but I feel she's kind of skimmed her way... I haven't liked too much of her work, I think it's a bit weak. Ricky... it's kind of funny how everyone hates him for crying all the time. I sometimes like his work, sometimes I don't. I think he'll fall though. Chris; I wouldn't be surprised if he got in the top three too, as long as he doesn't go costumey. I think he's learned a lot from being on Project Runway.

Well, I decided to take a leaf out of ~Meeleena's book and clean my watch list. I'm sorry if you got deleted, but most of the people never commented on my stuff, and I only watched them because they watched me. :\ I need to pay more attention to the work of the people who's work I do enjoy!

In art news, I'm more pleased than I have been in ages with my style. It's finally developing~! Expect a lot of stuff... hopefully;;; With the assumption that I actually have time.

Gahhh I want my chem test back soooo much because I think I did okay but last time I thought that I got a terrible grade. And I want to go home because my mum was hinting that she bought something. An Apple something. If it's an iMac I will cry, pet it, name it, and then steal it. Then I get to use the office again instead of downstairs! (There's two places for desktop computers in my house; the upstairs office and downstairs in the hall. I currently use the downstairs computer because it's better. A new computer would go in the office, which means I would migrate there.)

Ahhh, free iTunes cards at Starbucks for only 4 more days. ;_; I wish they would do pepsi caps again, we got about 40 free songs that way.

Mann, I need to study health. I've gotten too laid back about that subject.

In other news, I must have pulled a muscle in my foot. It's been killing me for the past 3 days. I can't play DDR D: My mum thinks it's associated with me not eating a lot. Meh, I just have a small stomach. I hate eating a lot. The feeling in my stomach is terrible.

Anyways, I'm starting a group to end discrimination against Atheists. I pretty much spent all of today researching (I got away lucky with no homework from school). Some of the statistics are just ridiculous. Did you know that 62% percent of Americans would not vote for an Atheist? Or that we're the minority that parents would most want their kids not to marry? Seriously, I mean, bloody hell (sorry, it was too tempting), that's just... So I'm planning on giving a speech after ages of research that I will somehow manage with schoolwork.

Maybe Discrimination Against Atheists: End It! Sounds catchy. DAA:EI Or just DAA for short.

Okay. I'm officially done with people misspelling my name. I can understand if I just verbally tell them, "It's Nicki" and they spell it with a k. But, when I GIVE them my business card WITH my name SPELLED on it? And then they misspell it? That's just stupidity, and it's extremely rude. To be blunt, it pisses me off.

So from now on when dealing with those who I don't know, I'm using Nicole. I never thought that I would have to come to using it like this, but I'm sick of people constantly misspelling it even after telling them time after time. (I also have a number of teachers who have done it even though Nicki with a C is on the class roster and I give them ten million homework assignments with a C on it.)

In other news, my mum is mad at me for getting mad at the people who misspelt my name. Basically, I submitted some art to it (jewelry and a old print which I hate) ANNNDDD my card. So they made a flyer thing which they emailed to my mum, thus we looked through it for my listing. And they misspelt my name. With a k.

I'm changing my last name too. As the c can be a k in that case as well.

PSATs are so boring and such a waste of time. Some with other standardized tests; why should one test count for so much? How can it tell "how smart you are?"

My teachers have decided to throw tests onto us. For two teachers it was their first test this year... my French teacher gave us a test with almost 80 questions on it. I finished, but it's unfair for those who did indeed finish because the ones who didn't can check the answers today. Blah, blargh. Oh well. One test can't kill my grade.

Chem took me a bazillion hours today because it took so long to figure out how to do the problems. And he randomly decides to have a test next Monday. GAHHHH. I have a major headache from school.

My lunch hours died this week from club activities. I have much griping about some of the clubs but I'll save that for later...

So yes, today was not brilliant. On the bright side, I found a pretty good wall to hit tennis balls at. The only problem is they can easily fly over the roof into a fenced off area.

Soo... my Photoshop is being an annoying piece of software crap. Basically, it won't open or create files. It was working just fine last night and now... gah. I really wanted to work on my picture too. I've tried deleting the preferences... no luck. And with no administrative power there's not much else I can do.

And now what do I find out? It's not just Photoshop CS2, it's ALL Adobe software, even Elements! CURSE YOU ESPON WHICH IS APPARENTLY THE PROBLEM PROBABLY ACCORDING TO THIS: [link] It's not Apple's fault obviously...

Other than share a preview of what I'm working on. Critique is liked, just know there's some areas I've already worked on... such as her mouth position, hair, shadows on the jacket, the jacket itself, and her left leg. The file is like 8000x11000 pixels and took ages to resize in Painter... which is pretty much the only program left working. It took... 3 minutes maybe? Perhaps longer.

I sent a complaint to Apple. I'm sorry, but iMovie '08 is absolute rubbish. After about 10 minutes of trying it out I closed it and decided I'd never use it; I'm sticking with iMovie '06.

This is the first Apple product I can EVER remember being disappointed with. I even love(d) the Newton! It just can't meet to Apple standards.

And sorry if I'm not around much, school first and I'm a lot busier.

Oh and the fact that I desperately want some Labyrinth music on iKyon BUT THE iTUNES STORE DOESN'T HAVE THE SOUNDTRACKS ONLY CRAPPY SINGLES OF 2 OF THE SONGS doesn't help. I bought Underground because I'm pretty sure it's exactly the same. However Magic Dance doesn't feature the Goblins, who totally make the song!

The Keynote for 2008 at Macworld Expo... is again after school starts. A Monday. ON SCHOOL.

Garrwag this almost makes me want to start college a year older just so I can go to one of these! OR JUST PLEASE MAKE IT THE FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY INSTEAD OF THE SECOND WHEN I'M BACK IN SCHOOL. IT IS MY DREAM TO GO TO ONE OF THESE.

The only thing I can thnk of is if I flew to San Francisco Saturday and then right after the Monday keynote fly back. Which would kinda suck because then I'd miss all the other cool Macworld Expo stuff. But I mean, if I can go to the the keynote and actually get in IT'LL MAKE MY LIFE. The only problem is according to the site, "The keynote is open to Platinum and Super Pass, MacIT, Users, Power Tools, Market Symposiums, and Hands-on MacLabs attendees ONLY. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis except for Platinum and Super Pass attendees who have access to priority Keynote and Feature Presentation seating."

Do Users mean that anyone who is a Mac user? Cause I ean, well that just means everyone. xD I'd pay to be a Super Pass attendee just so I'm guranteed a spot.

I was actually rather surprised that according to this site ([link]) as of 2005 being nonreligious was the third most popular belief in the world. Granted there were nearly twice as many Christians, it was still a bit surprising. According to this site ([link]) as of 2005 American is only 3-9% nonreligious, however, it was ranked 7th for the most number... well, it was a large country.

I was also surprised to see that there were country where there was up to 85% nonreligious! Now that's my kind of country. As most of you guys probably know I disprove of religion. Why? Oh yeah. As I returned home today I found Winston, the anorexic hermit crab used as my Bio project, dead. Though he looked extremely cool out of his shell, we shall miss him.



Winston was a good crab, though he was extremely shy and rarely moved in my presence. Though he didn't appear to eat, we still loved him. Bought in April, he was used for 4 weeks as a Biology project. Thank you Winston, for getting me an A+ in Bio. If it was not for the grade I earned on this final project I would've probably gotten an A in the class. It's probably my fault that you died for leaving you with no crab-sitter over a two week period. I was mistaken in leaving you only with extra food and more water than usual. Or maybe you died from being anorexic. Oh well. Even though you made the room smell terrible and I now hate to enter the room, we'll miss you.

Sooo, I'm returning for another few hours to Central PA Art Fest today I think... and then off to people's choice one where I got my seriously awesome hat that some of you guys may remember.


Yesterday at the art fest I paid $5 to get and 18x18 inch square and a box of 12 pastels to draw in the square with. Okay, so I have an iPhone.

Technically anyways.

I waited for two hours in line, but they ran out of "8 giggers" (as one person put it xD) because the 19 people in front of me probably all bought them.HOWEVER. Because Apple is 1000000x better than Nintendo/Sony you could actually place an order for one. A priority order so we get the first 8-gig ones that come to the warehouse. Soo, yesss... I've paid for it and now checking the order status obsessively... hopefully Tuesday. The cingular lady said that we'd get them very soon and we did over-night shipping.

Driver's ed is still boring... our teacher had an anger breakdown on Friday, lol. I've been working on the jewelry. :3

Guess who figured out that the next episode of CSI is going to be a repeat? >_< 4 months, until one sees if Sara dies. I've read (I'm unsure if these rumors are true though) that they're killing Sara because Jorja Fox, her actress, wants a major pay raise so this is their way of firing her. Oh well, I'll miss Sara but she was never my favorite character.

She's a very nice teacher, but she can't really handle our class. :\

Anyways, we have the stupid webblock.. I really want to check my email. I know of some pretty easy ways to get around the blockage, but I don't want to get my account suspended or whatever. :<

I've been reading a lot of CLAMP recentley. I got this huge book of xxxHolic. It was only 13 bucks and it had 3 volumes in it!!! i've read about 1.5 volumes of that. I also read the first Tsubasa volume. It was really good and I liked how it crossed with xxxHolic. However, since I haven't read a lot of CLAMP in the past I didn't get some of the characters until I read the character guide in the back. The only people I've reconized were the drug store people that popped up in xxxHolic and the "other" Chi in Tsubasa. They're both awesome manga though! And I love CLAMP's style~~~ Makes me want to draw~~~

This weekend I'll be working on making lots of jewelry for the Art Fest. I bought like 90 bucks in beads and materials at Hobby Lobby... ;;;;

I'll be thinking of everyone. No computers, other than when I go to the London Apple Store (which I MUST do. And worship the computers)

So I'll be sending my real life friends postcards. I'm sorry, online friends I don't have your addresses and I'm leaving in like 2 hours.

So this is what I'm doing with everyone's journals which I've been abusing... gomen gomen. I'll just read everyone's latest two journals when I get back. And comment. Srsly. It'll be over 100... but ... hahahaha. If you have anything uber important just email me or note me please. I'll defiantly read that.

And with devs, I'll get to 2-3 or everyone's. So please don't expect to look at every single one of them, especially if you've uploaded like 50. o_0 I watch about 50 people. I tend to have an order of which I comment on stuff also...

Anyways, I'll be writing WM on the plane which is an 8 hour flight, so that gives me about 4 hours of writing and poking time! I'll be sleeping 4 hours of the flight. On the way back I probably won't sleep... hahaha. I'll be Jet Lagged Plz. They need a plz for that.

For the first time in many years my cat has been allowed indoors. He's making it very hard to write, hahaha. xD; He enjoys rubbing my hands while I'm typing.

HOLY CRAP MY NOSE IS BLEEDING!

Sorry for the interuption; that was a random nosebleed. Anyways, my cat, Ralf, is very cool. He is a lap cat but also a hunter. He likes to play with little mice, bat at racoons, and run around outdoors. Right now he's in his lap cat mood, purring and watching me type. He's trying to get down, but that won't happen... bwahahahahaha!!! He also likes to lick himself which is pretty nasty and gross to watch. He a very pretty cat though. <3

My other cat who used to be my steppy's is Goku. He's very lazy and makes cute noises~~~

Here's a picture of them, Ralf is the brown tabby (he's really a silver tabby according to the vet) and Goku is the yellow one. Together they're my gay cat lovers.

It's really weird; my story "Sidewalk Café Magic has 550 views all the sudden. Up until now the most viewed one was Water Mage Wallpaper with 100... it's been very sudden and I think someone is either linking to it which is great, but someone may have it posted on their website which sorta bugs me that they never emailed/noted me... I can't believe it. I forgot my pencil case. >_<;;; WHAT IS THE POINT OF MY DRAWING WEEKEND IF I FORGOT MY PENCIL CASE? HOW SHALL I DO MY HOMEWORK?! For those wondering why I can't use any old pencil that's lying around my grandparents' house heres why:

1. There are no working mechanical pencils.
2. The #2 pencils suck. And I hate #2 pencils. Or any non-mechanical pencil.
3. THERE ARE NO ERASERS! (!!!!!)
4. I have OCD and need MY pencil. Neeeeeed.

I downloaded a ton of demo software all for nothing. T_T I was looking foreword to drawing this weekend...

Ah well, homework tomorrow... researching Steve Jobs... Algebra...

Hmmm... I've been reading a little about fasting and I've decided to go on a water fast. No, that doesn't mean I'll only be drinking water; I'll just be drinking water for liquids. For food I'm cutting down on my meat. I can't remove it or my mom would hound me. I'll try eating more tofu... According to Steve Jobs fasting "fells great after the first few days, fantastic after the first few weeks." So no, I'm not anorexic. ._.

YES. I HAVE A RELGION. IT'S CALLED iPHONE.

The minute I saw that sexy thing I dropped my jaw and uttered to my equally crazy mom "It's MINE." Just the specs make me bow down... 8GB iPod that plays videos. Even though that's not a lot. I guess if I compress them... anyways. MUSIC. THAT'S ALL I NEED AND LIKE 2 CSI EPISODES. AHHHHHH

And a GREAT internet browser. Safari? I LOVE SAFARI. I'm a Safari fangirl. And then the UI. (user interface) Omigod. I'm in love.

So iPhone is my god.

Oh yeah, Apple Computer is now Apple Inc. They make everything. It's now one of my job options that I'm thinking of. I mean, this is a big, big, BIG thing for me.

I've grown up with Apple. The first computer my mom had, the first computer I saw was a Mac. It had all sorts of games on it that involved shooting little cute things that screamed and bled. I had my fun little games that taught me secretly.

I became old enough to use the internet when we got the G3. The nice, green G3. That even today I still use at my dads. Then came the iMac G4. In between the times of those two computers was the iPod. And then the laptops and then the G5... oh my it's been wonderful. Apple has been with me for so long. And now they're more then my computer; they're my music and soon to be the way I text people, the way I browse the internet, the way that I talk to people. It's amazing. Worth $600. Anyways, I have 61 devs to go through and 44 messages. As usual I'll try going through most of the journals and at least two of each person's devs. (try being the key word)

Also, I'm working on a manga which I hope to have at least 120 pages by Tekkoshocon. Which is April 13. But I'm planning having it done at the beginning of that week. So... please buy my stuff when I get my website up. I make earrings and pretty prictures~~~

This means I have to have 5 finished pages during the school week and 6 during the weekend. So expect less of me; deviantArt is my 3rd priority computer wise. MCB is 1, then my manga.
