Now I'm in My Fair Lady, playing Mrs Higgins.

Today one of my classes took a huge all-day trip to Washington DC. We left early in the morning to go to the Holocaust Museum. It was my AP English class, and we just read "Night" by Elie Weisel. Intense stuff, but definitely worth seeing at one time or another. Everyone had already finished walking through, and I was only about 2/3 done and had to rush to finish, so I have to go back someday.

Tomorrow is my school's winter semi-formal event. We're eating dinner at a restaurant and playing games. Not too exciting, but my crush asked me, so that makes it 10x better.

And I've fallen in love with Coldplay. My friend loaned me the album "Viva La Vida." LOVE IT.

I have lots of drawings to scan, as well as lots of photos to put up-- I got a 10 megapixel Nikon Coolpix for Christmas , and I have jewelry photos as well (I have improved a lot). I don't know when any of that will happen, though, let alone when I next update.

I had auditions for the fall play, "Arsenic and Old Lace", on Friday. I found out today that I got the part of Martha! One of the old ladies... it's the exact part I wanted. I'm so happy!

But I found out that I can't go trick-or-treating this Halloween! I'll be on stage! :'( Oh well. The play's definitely worth it. Whether or not I'm going to like this play more, I liked the movie more than "You Can't Take It With You." And that's saying something. First rehearsal is tomorrow.

I had a wart on my left ring finger frozen today. It hurt to high heavens for about two hours, but it's numb now. It's been nearly two years since I last had it done. I got a blister the size of Alaska, and i just got done peeling that off, like the doctor said. Now I just have a crater.

Anyhow, I have some pictures of jewelry to get up, some Harvest Moon lineart and a Batman fanfic that I'm halfway done editing. All those to be done sometime this week, probably.

On Saturday, I went to see The Dark Knight: The IMAX Experience. It was absolutely mind-blowing, worth every extra penny. My dad said "It's just another movie." Pfft. It was enough to give my mom motion sickness. XD They opened the film with it (the bank robbery scene), and otherwise most of it was to show height and such. It was incredible to look down over Batman's shoulder from the top of a skyscraper and actually see ground below.

My favorite scene in IMAX? (!!!SPOILERS IN BRACKETS!!!) [ [ [When Batman flips the eighteen-wheeler with the Joker inside. Not a corner is cut out, and the detail is phenomenal.] ] ]

Yesterday I went to my aunt's. I was showing her the jewelry I'd made so far, and she loved all of it. She said my cousin would love the "Trellises After Rain" pair ([link]). She loved another pair I'd made, which I didn't have a picture of yet. They were really simple, and I said I planned on selling them for $5. She says, "I'll give you $10 for them." I was kind of speechless, and my mom calls out, "Take the offer!" XD So I just said sure, and she gave me $10 and put them right in her ears. I plan on making another pair so I can get pictures.

Yesterday I also watched "Batman," the version with Jack Nicholson as the Joker. I didn't know we have it! I knew we have "Batman Returns," but now I've seen this, too. And let me tell you, it's hilarious, and Heath Ledger's Joker put Jack Nicholson's Joker through the wash, wrung him thoroughly and hung him and his garish plaid pants out to dry. ♥

So today I'm back to normal, with about a week til school starts, a 3/4 of paper to write still, and a hunger to produce works of fandom.

I saw "Batman Begins" last week (my dad bought it!) and "The Dark Knight" on Monday (and yes, with my crush and one of our mutual friends). I am officially a fangirl. :3 One of my new favorite movies of ALL TIME. And Heath Ledger freakin' owned the role of The Joker. Oh so smexy. I'm working on sketches at the present time. Obsessobsess. I tried doing makeup in a style like that of the Joker... minus the white. I intend to have my camera ready next time. I swear, I'll be femme-style Joker next Halloween... or Harley Quinn. XD That's even better.

Speaking of Halloween, I'm getting to work on a Halloween costume for *this* year... Alice in Wonderland! I have the pattern and fabric. XD

I'm trying to watch Batman Begins online right now... (I should really be working on my paper). Earlier I watched episode 1 of Princess Nine, recommended to me by . My first sports anime. Also, I finished the Death Note anime. It kicked butt. Ryuk's definitely my favorite character.
