This upset me a great deal. Not only just because my Grampie's sick. Real bad life threateningly sick. But just as much because no one apparently can be bothered to tell me directly. I don't blame my aunts for not, they've been busy. But my own father? He knew I was worried when Grampie was in the hospital last time. Can't call? Once? Five minutes?

...Is it wrong of me, that any time that something like this happens, I blame my dad? Does it seem like I have some bottled rage up against him? Maybe it's 26 years of bad parenting sitting and festering... but. I really don't think anything he could do, were he even so inclined, could fix this by now.

...I need to go bake, or sew or something. It's a whole lot more time consuming, and less painful, than cutting.

Okay, here's what I'm doing. As this is my first contest here ever, hopefully I'll try to make this clear. I have six characters planned for a story, possibly an illustrated one, or maybe even a proper comic. We'll see what pans out of it. Anyhow! The contest is very simple. I've thought of the artwork, but I'm stumped on names!

I'm leaving the contest open for one month, until June 20th, 2009. If people ask for more time, I may extend it, but a month should be good, right? And what's the prize, I'm sure you're all asking... why, free arts!

If I pick your entry for use, I'll do one free black and white lineart of a character of your choosing. Keep in mind please, I have a hard time with mecha and furs, and will not draw anything that would need a filter here. Art is yours to keep and I won't post it unless you want me to.
