I get to be the MODEL STYLIST for the Lux5 Luxury Lifestyle red carpet at the Experience Music Project in Seattle!!!!!!!! *Squeeee* It's an event that caters to those people who make $100,000USD and over per year. There's a High Fashion runway show with Couture designers both local and out-of-state. And I get to be the model stylist!!!! How awesome is that???

And they're are custom fitting it to my measurements. When I first saw it, I thought it would be awesome to shoot in, but then when they asked for my measurements, I was very happy. And I got it for $1 USD + shipping from China.

How cool is this? It's a 1-of-a-kind couture hat. That means that it was custom made for a runway show and will never be made again. So I used my fractal jewels as backgrounds for my "Fairy Bubbles". I have more jewels coming, if anyone's interested. But apparently people aren't.

So anyways... nothing too new. Except I start school later today as it's 12am right now. Very excited.

My insomnia is horrible. I can't sleep at night. I've been up till 4am for the past couple tossing and turning and I CAN'T FRICKIN' SLEEP!! I hate it! I'm tired.... I want to sleep.... my brain won't shut down.... or even dim... ((For those who don't know, I have ADHD so there's no "off" switch. There's a dimmer switch, but it only works about 50% of the time))

Yay!! Thanks to :iconwdparksgal: for telling me how to get a transparent image here on my journal. I have oodles of stock to upload, so I will be doing that very soon.

Pokemon for Sale!

SOme of you may not know this, but I am a Huge fan of the 90's fad known as Pokemon. I have the Red, Blue, Yellow, and Silver gameboy games, 2 different pokemon books, a few various figurines, and tons of cards. Yes, I still have my pokemon cards. However, I am thinking of selling them as they are collecting dust in the binder. So I have made a catalog of them in Excel and made it into a web page. If you are interested, please take a look: Pokemon Cards List Also, feel free to contact me with questions.

Clarification: Many of the cards I have of the same pkmn have different pictures. If you see this: (#, #, #), then that means that I have 3 cards of the same pkmn with different pictures.

If you want to see close up of individual cards, let me know as I have pictures of each. Based on the prices I've seen online, the cards I have, and their condition, I'm asking $100+shipping. The cards listed on the webpage do not include the trainer and energy cards. However, if You want to know which ones I have, let me know. Most of the cards are in mint condition or new condition.

: Caves :

So as you may have noticed, I am in Oregon. We went to the oregon Caves on Wednesday. They were AWESOME! Right now the only picture I have up is on my main account.
They are marble caves and positively stunning. I will have more pictures.... but as my photoshop is at home and I am in Ashland, I can't adjust the pictures. We stayed at this little out-of-the-way place called Country Hills. I highly recommend it for those who can live without internet. It's very clean and quaint and reasonably priced. Here are pictures:

We stayed in one of the cabins. They also have a large campground and motel rooms. It was darling and made me want to stay there for a week.

In Cave Junction there are several restaurants. However, the best one is Michelle's Family Restaurant. [link]
The food really tastes like home-cooked goodness. It tastes like someone slaved over a hot stove all day. And it's cheaper then Denny's, but 10x better. We had dinner and breakfast there.

We made our way down to Ashland and are staying at the Best Western Windsor Inn. They have a complimentary shuttle that goes directly down to the theater district. We saw yesterday and today I saw A Midsummer Night's Dream set in a 70's disco. It was FABULOUS! The 4 faires answering to Titania were males with mesh tops, shiny leggings, neon tutus, and combat boots. Total drag-queenesque/Rocky Horror. Very, very cool over all.

So I'm in Oregon now. We're in Neskowin. So on the way there, I got really bored. So bored that my mind started fraying it's circuits. I was going crazy. I had to do something. So we stopped at a local produce stand outside of Mcneville. There was a corn maze and in I went. It was like a "Choose-Your-Own" adventure. I have documented my adventures on video and now post them here fore your viewing pleasure. They're quite funny.

Stolen Socks, Headaches, Work

The weird thing us, I'M NOT KIDDING!! My mom has stolen my socks. She went through my laundry that I left in the dryer and took the socks that don't match. Her idea is that if she takes them, they'll get matched up somehow. I ask you intelligent people: How the HELL can socks be matched up if they're not with the rest of the socks? Seriously, I am pissed. And she won't give them back.

And even though I said that I was going to put up Oliver! stock, I've decided that I won't. Since no one did anything with the other show stock. (Which is getting removed, btw)

And I have a serious headache. I've had it all...day...long. I woke up with my head pounding. I took 2 advil and it kind of went away, but then there was a very dull throbbing that lasted all day long. And about 45 min ago, when I got off work, it started pounding again. It hurts to move my head in any direction.

Some stuff dealing with work sucks! I'm not going to say what exactly, but damn, I wish I had enough money to really get a lawyer/legal help.

I'm still in my Sailor Moon mood. *big cheesy grin* I've found midi's online of the music and a free program that can convert them into mp3's. So I know have Sailor Moon music on my iPod. There are some songs that are just soooo awesome.

I'm in a fairly good mood. I know I haven't been around too much, but that will change! *outs on helmet and charges out to the dA world* I've been busy working on the college's production of Oliver!. Opening week last week went really well. I mean REALLY well. And those of you who do theater know that if opening night goes well, something bad is bound to happen. And it did. Last night, during the Oom-Pa-Pa song, our Nancy was supposed to lean back and kick her leg up in the air. 2 cast members were supposed to catch her and they didn't. So she's injured and as far as we know, it's not serious. So thank God tonight is closing night. *wipes brow* Phew... It was scary last night. Anyway... So my mommy found me another blue-ish pillow case (to match the color scheme in my room) and it has gold stars and unicorns on it! *squeals* It's perdy...

And so I found a great author: Gayle Callen. It's 17th Century English Romance Novels. As I was reading one of her books, it defiantly made me want to go back in time and stuff my blubber into a corset and a fancy dress. ANd then I'd be invited to an "invitation-only" party at Vauxhall. During the evening I'd sneak out to the gardens and some devestatingly handsom rake would follow me out there... *sigh* Now I'm feeling warm all over.

I love romance books.

So I have found Sailor Moon classic, Sailor Moon R, and Sailor Moon S episodes on youtube. I'm sooo HAPPY!!!! I used to watch that show growing up and I'm psyched that I finally can see all the episodes. my bg on both my computers is a Sailor Moon one. I'm still trying to find Season 4: the Sailor Stars one, so if anyone can point me in the direction of a link, that would be fabulous.

dA is my favorite place to be on the internet. For the past few weeks, I've been going through some difficult things in my personal life. I am able to vent my frustrations here on dA without having to worry about people judging me too harshly. Or if they do decide to judge me, I don't know them and don't care. ANd everyone is so nice and caring here on dA. Maybe I'm naive and maybe I'm wrong, but in over 2 years here on dA, I've had ONE (1) bad experience and that has since been resolved. People have been extremely supportive even though they don't know the full story and even those who know part of the story are also very supportive. Being able to have a "safe place" to vent has been a lifesaver. I used to be chronically depressed and even now, I have to keep a guard on my pity partiness because if I get too down and start brooding, I will go back to being depressed. If I didn't have dA, I don't what I'd do. So from the bottom of my , thank you dA.

Now.. about the fractals. I've been doing fractals for years. I have a HUGE cache if them are just sitting on my hardrive. Some of them have skiny pixel watermarks that are easily taken off with photoshop. I did them waaaay before photoshop. So when I upload them, they will be stock and you can remove the copyright. In my art account gallery, I used to have around 700 fractals. yep, so that's more fractal goodness for you all.

It's officially my birthday!! _{So give me love.} :birthday: I'm not telling you my exact age, but it's between 21 and 25.
I had an awful weekand last week and I want to personally thank everyone who did their best to keep my spirits up. ^znow-white and ^jenepooh in particular. PLus my e-lover, =Stock-By-Crystal. You'll never know how much you guys hepled me. That goes for everyone who commented with love.

Now for the good news....

If you hand out in #ARSTOCK, you've all heard me pine for Ireland. Hence why I did the Irish Romance Contest. Welll..... I went to the International Programs and Travel/Study abroad office and asked which programs got the grant.

IRELAND GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There will be a trip to Ireland in summer '09!!!! SQUEEEEEEEE!!!!
Granted, I still have to fill out the application, but I'm hoping with everything I have. The official brochure isn't released until December and then the final deadline will probably be next April. But still!!!

DISNEY STUFF:
SO I found clips on YouTube going behind the scenes on certain Disneyland rides and videos of the actual rides themselves. *squeals* I have in Disney heaven for a couple hours. And don't you dare tell me Disney is only for little kids. I am OBSESSED with Disney.

Seeing as how my birthday is coming up in 2 weeks, I was thinking about what I've done in my life and stuff that has happened. And then i realized.... I'M OLD. Granted, I'll be between 22-25, I'm old. 80's music is considered "Oldies" now. I grew up before computers were readily available. I grew up without cable and MTV ((still don't have it)). I grew up with Shining Time Station, Mister Roger's Neighborhood, Wishbone ((Still my FAVORITE TV show)), Lampcop, and The Big Comfy Couch. Do you remember the game, "Pogs?" That was cool. I remember, I had a glass snapper with an American Flag and an eagel in the middle. (While I got rid of all my pogs, I still have my snapper somewhere)

And then, in elementary school, you were cool if your classroom had 1 old IMB computer that could play the "Oregon Trail" computer game. I remember when you had to go to the library to do research. I even used a typewriter a few times to write something. And everything was by hand. We learned how to write using cursive. Now, younger people don't really learn it.

Then, as the 90's came along, The rise of the Boy bands (N'Sync, 98 Degrees, Blink 182, DreamStreet, Back Street Boys, ect.) My first movie star crush was Leonardo DiCaprio in the epic film, Titanic. MTV became the thing to watch and techno, trans, house, dance music became the popular music. I remember when Sailor Moon was on local channels. The first mainstream anime in the US, If I remember correctly. There were some great cartoons back then... Bonkers, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, Talespin.

Who remembers Tamagachi's?? *raises hand high* how many did you have? I had 3. Then they became Nano's. ANd Polly Pockets. I always wanted one and never got one until near the end of their popularity. Still have it.

Then came Beanie Babies. I remember being ecstatic to find the royal blue elephant for 10$. Pokemon came on the scene and that was HAWT!. I have a GameBoy Color that still works. Between me and my brother, we have Pokemon games Red, Blue, Yellow, and Silver. We'd trade other people for cards. I still have all my cards. I remember waiting forever in line at the movie theater to see the first pokemon Movie just so I could get the Holo Entei card. I still have it, along with some other rare ones. I might post pictures of them.

Thinking back on everything.... So much stuff has happened in my lifetime. What kidn of stuff do you remember? Tell me, I'm curious.

Soooo..... don't you hate it when people say one thing and then do another? I do too.

=Gracies-Stock is one of those people. In this journal, [link] Gracie asked people to support Bec on any of her accounts. So I thought sure, why not. Gracie promised pimpage from both of them if we did. So I bought a sub. I sent notes to both Gracie and Bec. They still haven't been read!! (under "sent notes" the notes are still bright yellow/orange)
Then, low and behold, Gracie puts out an edited journal (link above) and thanks everybody else. BUT NOT ME!!! And I sent her the note before the journal came out. That's not fair. So I then sent another note to Gracie saying that I bought her a sub. That one still hasn't been read.

I want my money back. I bought Bec a sub for 2 reasons:

1. I wanted the pimpage/exposure

2. I thought it would be nice to support someone else.

I guess they didn't need it.

Is it so wrong to do something for someone because something neat was promised in return and then be upset when other people get thanked and not you?

Assholes.

Not that I expect any response to this journal. *sigh* I'll just slip back into obscurity.
