I Used To Have A Heart

^{Over my depressing last journal entry, posted yesterday, about a girl that I'd really rather forget. This girl changed my life forever, for better and for worse, and I've finally realized that I don't need her to be happy... The thought of her makes me happy. Seeing her pictures when I go through my computer and Photobucket makes me happy. I don't need her. Well, or so I think.

One of my favourite shows got cancelled today. Life on Mars is a terrific show, and I can't believe that people would prefer to watch horrible shows such as Lost, American Idol, CSI, and ER over this fantastic, smart, witty show. Oh well, we don't get to know the ending... Thanks, television, for sucking. On the bright side, my parents are buying the show that aired in England, with the same title and only different cast members. It looks good, but I adore Jason O'Mara, Harvey Keitel, and Gretchen Mol. I'll give it a try, definitely. Anyways, they also put out a sequel. And it's one I'll like more, probably. Set in the 80's instead of 70's, it's Ashes to Ashes. I love that song more, too.

I lost the key to my heart necklace on Friday, and then I look at Sonya's picture and BOOM she has a key necklace... It confused the bajeeperz out of me, but I wonder if it's mine or hers. I really wish I could find mine, the heart looks so depressing. xD

Merrr, I've been having a hard time with girls and everything. Being led on by a girl that I thought liked me for a looooong time, but I realized that she'd like men that are 20 instead of girls her own age. Hahahahha! Oh well, I've given up so much for her. I guess I just got played again, and it's fine with me.
I'm just really hoping that for Valentine's Day, I will find her. Find a girl that really likes me, I mean. (:
School has taken over my life. I'm glad it has, though, so I can focus a lot on it. I really really want to get into UT. My last semester exams/grades were crappy, but I'll do better this semester, I hope. I want to be able to get my degree in Music Management when I get to college. It's something I've had a newfound passion for... For almost a year. I'm really into it, now. And I'm not looking to be anybody famous. I'd just like to be a band manager... One that tours with the bad, sets up their tour, gets to drive with them (or drive them), get them prepared for a great day, help them with instrument setup. I'm so thrilled at the idea that I could technically mean something to somebody... Maybe I could change something. Anyways, it's a passion I have now, and I'm excited that I'm looking into classes for it.

I lost a couple of friends just now, but I really DGAF.

^{I celebrate Christmas, but I know that other people celebrate different celebrations. It kind of weirds people out that an Atheist, such as myself, would celebrate a "Christian" holiday. I don't find Christmas a Christian holiday because, well, Jesus wasn't born December 25.
In other news, I got some pretty awesome stuff.

I got an MCR Vinyl set, the one that I wanted so bad. It was the Revenge one, with the stencil set, a sticker, and a hand written sheet with some songs and crap on it. Including one we don't know... I hope it's on the new album!

I also got a new camera. It's a Canon (step up from a crappy Kodak) Power Shot A590. I think it's really cool. I still need to get used to it, but it takes decent pictures. It takes cameras a while to really get used to someone, if camera owners know what I mean. It took my Kodak about half a year to start actually taking great quality pictures.

I got Run, Fatboy, Run, Charlie Bartlett, Baby Mama, and a bootleg Daria 5-season boxset. It's friggin' sweet. I can't wait to watch all of them, especially Charlie Bartlett. I've been wanting to watch that movie ever since it came out. Hanna Beth liked it, too. But I'm not a huge fan of her anymore... Anyways,

I got an awesome hoodie and some cute earrings from my Granny. Now people know what to get me jewelry-wise. Last year, I didn't have anything pierced. Now I have three, go crazy with buying me earrings. I love them, hahahaha. My cousins made me cute things, like Cassie, with her "Rock Rocks" drawing she made me. It's the most adorable thing ever. Cary made me a "Punch the Dork" thing, so every time I think of him, I can punch him. Just kidding, just kidding. I love Cary. He's cool.

My cousins/aunt/uncle also got me a bunch of makeup. I'm really excited to use it, since it came with everything from mascara to new eyeshadow. I love it so much.

I'm waiting to go to my Gigi's house. I'm pretty stoked, since I never get to see that side of the family. Sometimes I don't want to, but today is supposed to be a happy stay with the family day. Hahahah.

Journal Update

^{I didn't go to the Gay Men's Chorus on Sunday. My mom and I, unfortunately, got into a big fight full of screaming and pushing. Hooray! Anyways, I didn't really do much this weekend. I saw Twilight on Saturday. If you haven't seen it, DON'T. Seriously. I would rather gouge out my eyeballs than see it again. It was awful.

My hair has been getting much longer, to the point where I'm sick of having it. I'm thinking about cutting it to my shoulders, maybe a bit longer, and getting my bangs trimmed. What do you think? (: Oh, who am I kidding? Nobody cares about Sydney here anymore, I suppose. I need some new friends, you all bore me. Hahahaha.

This year has been extremely upsetting/hectic. I'm glad to see that things are becoming happier for me. Not so much for the economy, or Earth, but I'm kind of happy right now. And I enjoy it.

I'm reading A Separate Peace by John Knowles for English class (personal project). It's pretty fantastic, all things considering. It's an older novel, but I love the style it's written in, and the story is great. It's about two boys that basically fall in love at a boarding school, although he shows it as a friendship. I'm still going towards relationship ever since the "We wrestled each other and we had no shirts on" part.

School is really pushing me to the edge. I've been trying my hardest, and I can't succeed a lot of the time. The good news is that I'm passing French with a high B currently, but I'm also doing bad in Algebra and Science. I need to get that up.

Haven't discovered a new artist, I've still been listening to a LOT of Tegan and Sara. Song I should recommend is "Like O, Like H". I've been listening to that song, "Burn Your Life Down", and "Nineteen" more than I really should be listening to them. I'm also listening to a ton of Pencey Prep. But that's not too unusual... I listen to them all the time. Hahaha. All I'm waiting for now is LeATHERMOUTH's album. Gahhh. Come soon!!

^{People still favourite and add to collections my 'Twilight Obsesser' stamp... It's not all that great, I made it in five minutes, and I could make a better one if I didn't think that Twilight was really UNcool now.

Anyways, I have a lot of crap to do this weekend.

Tonight I'm seeing Twilight. I'm not interested, really, but Daniella wanted me to go with her, Olivia, and Kira. I'll probably make a review and post it on MySpace, who really knows? We're going to Jerry's and eating subs/pizza, then seeing the movie. Hopefully girls won't swoon about Robert Patterinson (Pattinson, I think?) so we can laugh at the horrible makeup job instead. I'm not criticizing the movie; it just doesn't look that good, and I hate the new TWILIGHTEENS. They suck. End of story.

Tomorrow I might go to the mall with some of my best friends. It's great how I found a group of friends that have all been through the same stuff as me and really try to help me instead of leaving me alone. I guess I always needed someone like these friends.

Sunday I'm going to the Gay Mens Chorus to see baby, it's GAY outside!. Looks really fun, I'm extremely excited to see it. The tickets are expensive as hell, but GSA gets to see it for free, so I'm cool with that. (:

Life has been the way as it has been since August. Pretty crappy. But I guess it's the price I pay for thinking I could always be happy. I lose friends and a lot of people in my life, but no matter how many people I lose, I gain three. Friends are amazing, I love them.

^{I started this - ahem?- exciting adventure today. We took a four and a half hour bus ride into Chinatown. Then we walked to the subway and rode it to Rockefeller Plaza - I got to see where they shoot 30 Rock. Haha, and I also met some Mexican chick dressed up as Elmo in front of the Rainbow Room and took a picture with him (her?) Then we got back on the subway after going to F.A.O. Schwartz, the Louis Vuitton store, etc, and yeah. Now I'm on Jorge (Meike's boyfraann)'s computer and it's hard to type. I have pictures of breakdancers haha. They were really nice and funny. And I just guess I have to get off because I wanna sleep so I can go to Bamboozleeee!! I'm so excited, lmfaooo! I have a lot of pictures that I promise to post, honestly.
So, who else, if anybody on my list, is going to Bamboozle? I'm so ready to go and see Hayleyyy!!

^{well, i had a GREAT day at school today. yesterday was okay, but today was fabulous! ahaha.

anyways, i forgot to do this yesterday since chelsea came over, but since i did this last year and i think for sixth grade, i'll have to tell you my teachers, the class they teach, what their like, how today was with them, etc. (:

Period One: Ms. Graves - Pre-Algebra (Math C): Ms. Graves is really nice. Her mom used to teach last year and for like, 10 years before, and this is her first year alone at the school. We worked on "A mathematician is...", and we had to finish the sentence on a piece of paper. P:

Period Two: Mrs. Lockard - English: Mrs. Lockard is the nicest English teacher I've EVER had. She's sweet, and she knows how to talk to kids. I know I'll be paying a lot of attention in her class, ahaha. I'm excited to start English now. (: We took a gallery walk in her class today, marking tallies on charts that say things like, "I am a good reader..." and underneath two columns. "Yes" and "No". (:

Period Three: Madame Parente - L'francais: She's already my favourite teacher, everyone's known since sixth grade in AOL class. [; Apparently Madame Burg isn't teaching French 1B, so we have all of 38 students in the class, I believe. We don't even have desks for everybody! XD

Period Four: Mr. Tao - P.E.: It's P.E. What is there to say? I got my gym locker and a t-shirt for the uniform. Yep.

LUNCH: Sat with Chelsea, Sabrina, Alison, Kevin... Y'know.

Period Five: Miss Clark - Science: Eh, I don't like Miss Clark as much. She's sweet, but Idk. Taking a science safety test on Thurday. Also, we're doing Basic Chemistry second quarterrrr! YAY!

Period Six: Mr. Sprecher - Social (World) Studies: The most HILARIOUS teacher I've ever met! We did roleplaying today, and he pretended to be a student, and it was so funny. He wore a cap backwards, a retarded jacket, and headphones that just... hung down. We tried to keep it quiet for another class, but all of us were laughing so hard... xD He was so funny and nice. One of my favourite teachers.

Period Seven: Mr. Krichbaum - Creative FACS: I've had him in sixth grade. Nothing much happened today, except we made folders for our work to go in and we made an "ad" about ourselves.

School was pretty awesome, overall. I can't wait to go back tomorrow. (:}

I've been drawing, writing stories, poetry, and fanfictions. I've met so many friends, and best friends, on here as well. But, I have been thinking that maybe I haven't been trying my hardest. I haven't had the best time of my life this year, and frankly, it's already the worst. I don't want to live with more responsibilities. Therefore, I am giving myself up on deviantART.

BIRTHDAY. [which is today, if you didn't know.]

^{okay. so, today, i went to the cafeteria (where we go in the morning) and kevin gives me this giant poster with MCR all over it (that he made. i'll get pictures soon! :]i love itttt!! quoteth alison: "no mcr fan will ever get this poster! haha") so, i went up to my locker, and danielle told me to get back while all of them were putting stuff on my locker. she pushed me around the corner and gave me a present. i opened it, and it was the "everybody hurts : the essential guide to emo culture" which i wanted to read SO badly because it looks like it's TERRIBLE (except, i'm only on page 4 of the foreward and it is pretty funny.)

then i looked at my locker and jscohrelhv/j hefj/hred there were like 9873979713017271 papers!! xD i was afraid of them. ]:

so, i passed through the periods. happyyy. then, as i was going to fifth period, i decided to stop by my locker to see if there were anymore.

someone ripped off all of the papers. they were all on the floor.

i decided to get through fifth period. i cried because i was so mad, and mr. little had to pull me aside and talk to me about it. it was depressinnnng. but he made me feel better! :]

then we had to run the 800 meter. bldjlehjlhclwhed. i got 8 minutes. hahaha.

once i got to my locker, i threw my binder on the ground because it made me sooo mad. and my friends and i had to pick it up. my friends are seriously, THE greatest people. they helped me pick everything up. i put them in my locker for the time being, then went to lunch. i was still mad and stuff, but i soon got over it. once seventh period came, i had to take a test. D: I EITHER GOT AN A OR A B!!! woot woot! it was pretty easy!

then i packed up all my papers and stuff and alison and i sorted them on the bus.

now, today, i'm going to chick fil a. and eat cheesecake. and open up my present. i got like, $30 from my granny. O_O and hahaha i got from aunt kim, uncle bubba, cody, cory, catie, cary, and cassidy:

"1. dinner at your favourite san antonio (that's where i was born and used to live, incase you didn't know) restaurant.

2. 1 trip to the movie of your choice (with my approval, of course )

3. 1 book from 1/2 price books.

all redeemable while you're here this summer!"

haha. i can't wait to go to san antonio.

so yeah. that was pretty much my entire birthday up until this point.}
