So who all has their Christmas tree up? I put mine up yesterday, the lights were such a pain to deal with that it drove Mom to drink XD

December is my writing month so I've been doing pretty good with that. Also December is apparently the time for my desktop to have issues since now it's not letting certain programs load. Stupid machine. But at least I'm getting a laptop for Christmas so I'll be able to use that! Hurray.

Anyway, probably no updates for this account anytime soon. Still working on my big novel with and various fanfics.

Oh, I'm getting my first degree black belt this month I'm really stressed since I have such a hard time remembering the form. There's 81 moves and I'm super close to the end, but I'm worried I'm going to blank at testing and forget everything.

I've been busy with school and I have been writing, but it's been personal projects so there still won't be many updates to this account. But I might post something up eventually.

I got into all 3 colleges I applied to and I tested for my recommended black belt last Thursday. I'm hoping to be ready for my first degree black belt testing in December.

So yeah, I don't have much time to write. I had a lot of time monday but I was lazy and didn't do anything. Today I want to write but I have a government exam I need to study for which I should be doing now but I need a bit of a break since I just did chemistry homework and studied for my Japanese quiz.

At least Japanese is fun. The class is kind of slow and I hate being the only senior in a class of mostly freshmen with a couple sophomores, but this year's freshmen are pretty good. There's only a few I've seen that I absolutely can't stand.

I'll update more when the weekend comes around. Gotta study.

AP gov's going to be fun. My teacher kept saying "this is a class that's best for people with even the slightest interest in politics" and I hate politics, lol. I'm just taking it for the chance to not have to take it in college, and to experience the college class structure. My chem class is kind of small so I'm hoping that I'll be able to understand everything. Japanese will be fine, I just feel lame since I'm the only upperclassmen. It's all freshmen with a couple sophomores. No juniors. AP english had a hellish start. My teacher gave us a practice exam (on the first day of school). Which sucked!

And yay I can get on deviantART again! The router randomly blocked my access to the site for a few days which sucked. I went into withdrawals.

...I start school in exactly a week. I do not want to go back to school since I'm going to be in homework hell. (1st semester - Japanese 1, AP English, Chemistry -gag-, AP Government)And I'm a senior, so I'll have all the college crap forced down my throat every five minutes by the school. Argh.

So yeah I'm going to be pretty busy with school and work. Once I get some more of my project with my friend done I'm going to go back to working on some of my own stuff but I'm definitely not going to have as much time. The story with her is my priority. I am going to finish this whole thing before I graduate. I have motivation, she inspires me, and I am going to make myself do it.

Hopefully this school year will be better than last year... I had bad classes and friend issues. First semester was awful and then second was still bad but it got better since I made a bunch of new friends (most of them graduated though, which sucks).

Anyway. Pity party over, I'll put up my writing goals later.

Wednesday marked my 4 year anniversary of being with deviantART. Awesome. Looking back at my old stuff makes my eyes burn and I am so proud to see that I have improved so much in 4 years of writing. And going to make my apology again, there really won't be a lot of stuff posted to this account for awhile. I'm caught up in my project and I honestly have zero motivation to go back and write my other stuff. My story with Lae will get focused on once I get more of my new project done, but that probably won't be for awhile. So yeah, don't expect much updates from me (not that I've been putting much up this year anyway)... I have bad writers block or general disinterest in all the stories I was working on. And writing this new story, which takes place in modern, has pretty much driven me away from a lot of my medieval fantasy stuff. I like writing in modern since it doesn't feel overdone. I did medieval fantasy for years. Started it in 6th grade, and I'm coming into my senior year. So it's nice for a change... something new.

I'm going to be busy next week and a little of the week after, but really after that I finally get to relax for the rest of the summer. Which means more time to write. I've been pretty inactive on this account... I started a huge new project with and that's pretty much taken over my writing. Once I get some more chapters written I'm going to start going back to my other projects. I wanted to finish a ton of things junior year, but I was lazy, procrastinated, and had massive writers' block in way too many things. That's what happens when you leave stories for too long...

So yeah. I'm going to really try to get a lot done for the rest of this month. I have work and convention this week, which I'm looking forward to (not the work, lol) but after that it's story time.

I'm still jet lagged but am feeling better today. I was still really tired this morning but a friend came over and she pretty much revived me. We had a lot of fun hanging out. It was good to see her again and we had a good time laughing at stuff and watching videos online. So that gave me some energy. I'm still going to be really tired tonight though, which sucks. I went to bed around 11:30 last night and woke up at 5 something. It was awful and I couldn't go back to sleep for at least 2 hours.

I'm going to try to recover this weekend since I don't have time next week. I work monday through thursday, then thursday afternoon I'm going down to see . That'll be fun though, plus it'll be the first time for both of us to go to a convention.

I'm back. I'm so tired and jet lagged right now... used to going to bed at this time. It's 7:18 now. UK/Ireland's got a 5 hour time difference so it's a little after midnight over there. I'd be out by 11 usually. So this is going to get hard to get used to again.

I loved the places I went to though. Scotland was my favorite. I'll start putting up pictures tomorrow. I just need some sleep first.

Slowly slogging through all my deviations. I'll probably write up something about my travels. Kinda like a diary.

Ok I am more awake now after sleeping. I thought of a ton of new story ideas while overseas. Not sure how many of them I'll actually write, but I liked them.

Also, I'm almost all set for the convention down in Indiana. Yay. I'm dressing up as L (of Death Note)and the amazing is being Light with me. I have the shirt and pants, I just need to figure out what to do for hair. Either buy a pre styled wig or be cheap and do it myself... I'll probably have to do the latter since I don't know if it'd come in in time, since I'm leaving in exactly one week.

I'm going to England, Ireland, Scotland (my heritage!), and Wales. I'll be gone until the 29th.

Pretty busy this month, I'll come back horribly jetlagged lol. Probably just collapse on my bed and not move.

Then a week after that I'm going down to hang out with for the anime convention there. Which will be fun. I still have yet to get my costume yet... have to find L clothes and a wig I can make all crazy.

And I was going to try to finish something that :iconrockerofoscks: could put up on July 15 (Ash's birthday) but I had no motivation to write. I'd open it up, write a few paragraphs, and then end up exing out. Or getting sidetracked with the GazettE.

So yeah... I'll try to have it up at some point. Anyway, have fun while I'm off in Europe. I'll take lots of pictures and will try not to spam my inbox with them when I get back.

Hanging out with is awesome, we just had this huge idea for a new story project that we're really excited about. It's going to be fun, give us a chance to understand our characters more.

I won't be around much this month. I'm gone the 11 through the 29. is going to be putting something up on the 15 (Ash's birthday) for me so I have to get that finished before I go. Finding the motivation to do that is hard... My friend got me hooked on JRock and my attention span is out the window.

Got tired of reading about cliche's everytime I opened up my page. So how is everyone's summer going? Hopefully my fellow writers aren't suffering through writer's block. I have it on and off and it's really bugging me... but I've got some inspiration for a new mini-series. I kept seeing all these "Phobia" entries in my watch list, and decided it'd be fine to try out a couple. I'm going to try to make it humorous since a lot of the stuff I'm working now is pretty dark.

So I'm really bored while waiting for my friends to get here... and I was thinking about various cliches. And that made me wonder: what are the cliches you find most annoying? If anyone does read this, post a comment and let me know. I'm curious.

Also I need more cliche ideas for the Cliche Series. Lost Heirs is all set, I just have to actually write it. Chapter 2 in the series will have something to do with vampire romances since everytime I go into the bookstore, there's tons of cheesy vampire dramas lurking about.

It's almost summer, thank god. Just Thursday and Friday (and those are half days) before I'm free. My crappy junior year will finally be over... thank god.

This summer will be the last, since I have a bunch of new friends to hang out with and I'm not going to wait around for the same ones anymore. I got too lonely doing that so whatever. I'll hang out with my new friends and get to know them better.

Got a busy rest of the week. Open houses on Saturday, then I'm hanging out with friends on Sunday. Lots of shifts at the library this month, so that will be good money for my trip.

I plan on writing a lot more. I'd get so stressed with school that it was hard to write, but I've got inspiration so I'll be working on my stories again.

I think I'm (finally) getting over my writer's block. Finished one story that's been a fun project, and once finishes the Pokemon Story (HINT HINT HINT) I can write Chapter 5 from my Ash/Ciaran story. A good RP with a friend also helped with the writer's block... so points to her for that. Got 3 new stories started from that.

I've also been lurking around gaia and traded in some gold (which pained my internet wallet) for a couple pictures. Getting one of Ash and one of Rhy. If the artists let me, I'll post them here (with credit of course) once I get them.

I've had a fun Memorial Day weekend so far. Friday I hung out with a friend, and Saturday I tried out Ju Jitsu. It's very... awkward. It was fun but they taught so many things I couldn't remember any of it by the time class was over.

...Urgh do NOT drink an anti energy drink called "Drank" after having too much crap throughout the day. I feel sick. Blech.

Hm… probably DarkArrow. He’s always bickering with or talking to someone. Usually Silver’s the one getting harassed.

2. Your shyest?
Definitely Ciaran. He doesn’t like having attention placed on him and he’s afraid of failing his kingdom.

3. Your angriest?
Definitely Aries. He channels all his rage into abusing his victims… poor Rimé.

4. Your horniest?
Haha probably Aelwyn. She’s very much in love with her husband. Ash took one look at his mother’s diary and was scarred for life.

5. Your poorest?
Rhy, he can’t even afford to buy food so he’s mostly skin and bone.

6. Your richest?
DarkArrow. He, like me, is a miser and has tons of wealth hidden in various areas.

7. Your craziest?
Close tie between Aran and Aries… I’ll use Aries for this one though. Aries is basically insane. He was never taught how to control his vampire nature and it’s completely taken over him. His true personality is being destroyed and there’s only shreds of it left.

8. Your weirdest?
Could also be Aries, but I’ll go with Aran. He was too jealous of Rhy as a child and messed around with too much dark magic… which really screwed him up. It basically divided his soul in two so he has this horrible, monstrous side bent on torturing Rhy and then there’s himself. Because of the double personalities his moods change a lot and the slightest thing can set him off.

I never use my first characters but the first character I actually still use would be DarkArrow. He’s changed a ton but he’s still my almost original.

Malika, although I’ve yet to use her in anything so far. She’s set in a futuristic version of Saudi Arabia and she and her brother are working for the government, taking down the various rebels fighting against the system.

'Ello everyone. I've finally hit some inspiration. I'm taking a break from my Ash and Ciaran story along with Predator and Prey. I've tried to edit the chapters so many times that I honestly hate to look at them.

So I'm switching my focus to Stay With Me, because I want to get to a new chapter of Ash's life. This story leads into that. I started editing chapter 1 yesterday but my computer apparently hates me since when I tried to access the file it said it was corrupted. Damn computer.

Anyway. I'm going to be working on that, and probably some other things. I'll work on on the other two once I get motivation back.

One problem with Stay With Me though. I kept referring to Ash as an elf, since I was in my confused "What the heck is my character" stage. Ash has enough elven blood to count as a full elf, so I kept calling him one. He's not though. Stay With Me revolves around Ash's vampire heritage so I'm going to try to fix it up and try to call him by what he really is.

Grr... this was supposed to be the year where I finished a lot of writing, but I've just become even lazier than usual at it. And to top it off I've come down with a cold, and had a pretty nasty dream about a spider. Like DarkArrow, I hate spiders and in my dream there was this massive five inch or so spider scuttling around on my floor. Very creepy.

Spider dreams aside, I am trying to work on things to write. It's just hard. I have so many ideas it's almost impossible to stick with one for long enough. Maybe I should just start researching for the modern version of Predator and Prey...

Well in an hour or so I'll be heading off to South Bend, Indiana for a taekwondo tournament. Thought the Ft Wayne one was going to be my last but I changed my mind. Tournament starts tomorrow at 8 AM, so I'm going down tonight with friends. I think South Bend's about 4 hours away from where I live. Not sure though, so naturally I don't want to have to start driving at 4 AM.

Anyway I'm going to try and do a lot of writing. Once I get the taekwondo story finished I'm going to go back to Ash and Ciaran and try to finish up as much of that as I can.

I'm competing in a tournament on the 11th, so hopefully I'll do well in that. I actually did manage to remember parts of my old form so I'll be doing Inwha 2. Hopefully I do well... I'd love to bring home a forms trophy this time.

Chapter 4 in P & P is giving me a rough time. I don't know how to end it. I have no idea what happens beyond this chapter. 5 is a mystery. My ideas for the rest of the story are scattered.

So... I'll fix it up and try to have it submitted soon, but I warn you I will most likely be putting changes in the end. I'll try to have it up this week but if I can't it's because it's midterms week.

There was too much junk on my old journal so time to start a new one, plus I want to ask all my watchers a question.

What story of mine that I started but never finished would you like to read the most? I'm just curious about which of my unfinished pieces you guys liked the most and are wanting to read again.

I'll be submitting a bunch of pictures throughout the week because I found some good ones. I'll try to space it out so I don't spam everyone's inbox with pictures.

My goal is to have Modern Realm Chapter 3 and 4 edited, P & P Chp 4 finished, Lae chapter 3 finished before the end of the month. And my more major goal is to have Return to the Modern Realm finished before school ends. If I can't make that goal, it has to be finished before I head off to Europe in July.

My birthday last weekend was fun. I was still horribly sick but I enjoyed myself. Spent sunday and most of this week at home just relaxing. Trying to get rid of this cough/cold combo before sucks to be a junior days next week. Don't want to deal with being sick when I'm taking the ACT.

Programs at the library are over. I'm happy since I get my days back and I can relax. Kinda sad because that was an extra 3 hours a week I got to add to my paycheck.

My goal is to have Modern Realm Chapter 3 and 4 edited, P & P Chp 4 finished, Lae chapter 3 finished before the end of the month. And my more major goal is to have Return to the Modern Realm finished before school ends. If I can't make that goal, it has to be finished before I head off to Europe in July.

So I try to write a story for all the big holidays out there and a look at the calendar (and people nagging me from various clubs in school) that V-Day is approaching. I like writing couple stories on that day but I'm not sure which couple to write about.

Here's the choices

-Silver and either Xune or Alina, depending on which time period
-A new couple
-I know there are more but taekwondo fried my brain...

I've got a story I plan to post tomorrow if I can stop getting ADD with Death Note and write. (Which was successful) Inspiration for Predator and Prey and my Ash and Ciaran story has returned. I'm in the process of rewriting parts of Chapter 1 of P & P since I couldn't get Rimé to sound right. In the parts I've changed he sounds more like himself.

My goal is to write more in Feb. I got hooked on Katekyo Hitman Reborn, then Death Note, and couldn't put the series' down until I'd finished both of them. So no more manga for me. Time to write.

As I was attempting to edit I realized that I get this problem whenever I hit chapter 3 in my stories. Predator and Prey, Lae's book, now this one. Chapter 3s are some of the hardest to write.

I seem to have lost all motivation for the rest of my stories. I'm stuck with editing or one of those blasted chapter 3s.

So yeah... hopefully I can get over this block soon. Chapter 5 and 6 are the two I'm looking forward to. And with Predator and Prey I'd been eager to write chapter 4 since it was all Aries and it'd be good practice to get in his head, but I fought with chapter 3 so much that the motivation dwindled.

The semester ends officially this week. I have mixed feelings about that. I'm glad to get rid of a lot of my classes, but I get more crap ones in return and this means I'm a semester closer to graduating...

I have a Europe meeting later today. I really don't want to sit through a 3 hour meeting. I've been so busy this week I'm going crazy. My friend and I took a practice ACT at the school yesterday then ran off to the movie theatre afterwords with her boyfriend and one of our friends to go see Bride Wars. It was pretty funny. A bit through the movie she nudged me and said "It's Aislin and Aelwyn!" We kept laughing throughout the movie since the two angry brides reminded us of our characters, who always fight over Rimé.

Hard to believe 2008 is almost over. The year seems to drag on but once it's December time just flies. I'm going up to Marquette with my family on New Year's Eve so we can get Laura all set, and her boyfriend's coming home from Minnesota to be there for her and help her get around Marquette.

Everyone have their new years resolutions figured out? I'm working on mine. The main one is try to get as much of my writing done. I want to finish as many of my stories as I can before I graduate. Freshmen year of college is apparently hell and I won't have time to do anything. Thank god that's another full year away.

I'm going to Trans Siberian Orchestra tonight so I'm really looking forward to that. I'm going with my aunt, her daughter, and her son. So I get to see my little cousin again

As I was cruising through my documents I found a story I'd given up on, and some I need to edit. It has a lot of potential and I'm going to try to work on it again when I get the chance.

My cats got some catnip mice and they've been pretty stoned all day. Nimbus was burrowing into tissue paper and probably drooling,haha.

I hope everyone has a merry Christmas and safe drives for visiting family. I'll be seeing mine around 3 today. I'm excited to see my little cousins again.

Haley made the best card for me. Inside it has Ash, Rime, Aries, Lae, and DarkArrow wishing/not wishing me a Merry Christmas. The commentary made me laugh so hard.

I got sick -_- blargh. I woke up this morning feeling like I'd inhaled cotton. My throat felt like that all day (I hate that feeling so much) and tonight I got a stuffy nose and cough. So I've been struck with the usual cold/cough deal.

Just some updates. I'm disappointed in myself for not having gotten as much writing done as I'd wanted. The main source of this problem has been the computer. I was deprived of my main one for a week, and found it difficult to type on a laptop. I was going to write a lot yesterday but was busy with decorating the tree and Christmas shopping.

So. Going to work on writing today. And I'm putting Predator and Prey on a temporary hold. It's Christmas, I'm not in the right mood to work on a dark story about torture and pain. So that's going to be put aside until I get the right mindset back for it. I'm going to be working on Ash and Ciaran: Return to the Modern Realm. Chapters might be posted to dA.

Ciaran, Silver, and Aran. Ciaran would hate Aran for being evil, as would Silver. Ciaran and Silver would go to a simple restaurant and talk about good things, while Aran would be plotting against everyone.

Rimé vs. Lir… Rimé is a complete pacifist unless you piss him off and since he’s a vampire and a mage, he’d win the fight. We’ll assume Rimé is fighting Lir since he found out he injured Ash rather severely. Rimé’s never seen his son since he’s dead before Ash is born, but we’ll pretend he’s alive.

If Ash stole Malika’s prized possession… it would be her weapons mainly and she would become violent to get them back from him.

But I've had enough. It's been getting worse the past couple weeks, this week especially. It's driving me up the wall and Dad's sending it in for repairs tomorrow. I'm working on saving everything to discs and sadly I probably won't be able to work on Chapter 4 tonight.

Well what a lovely way to start off the month. Mom drove Haley and I to taekwondo since the roads were really bad and there were some accidents. Everything was fine. Until the way back. She stopped at an intersection and when the light turned green, started to go. Then some idiot cop slammed into the side of the van, which knocked the van into another van. No one was hurt and I'm so glad Haley and I didn't crash into each other.

So now my family is down to 1 working car. The one I usually drive has a bald tire and I'm not supposed to drive it on the highway due to some crap with the vehicle. The van is shot for awhile since we have one headlight and one side mirror.

And I don't know how much insurance coverage we're going to get...

My sister and her boyfriend are back in Marquette now. I had a lot of fun with them while they were here. I've been so busy this Thanksgiving break that I haven't had much time to write. I got a little done yesterday and I finished editing Chapter 3 today.

December is going to be a busy month for me. Lots of library shifts, and I'm going to focus on writing. December is often a theme for my writing, somehow. I have always started writing my Lae books in December. My Ash and Ciaran series is in December. NaNoWrMo is over, and I never did it since I only found out about it a couple weeks ago. I'm having that be my goal for December though. I will write 50,000 words as a total for the various things I'm going to be working on.

Then once November is over Christmas is coming. I'm looking forward to December. I have my first People to People official meeting and I'm going to Marquette with my sister over Christmas break to visit and get more of the sibling bonding time we need. I see her so rarely I really miss her. It'll be a blast to hang out.

Anyway, I'm done with Chapter 3 in P & P. Just need to continue editing it. I'm starting to lose inspiration on editing since I've struggled with the last section where it's narrated from Rimé's point of view so much that it's becoming painful to revise. I will work on as much editing as I can this week and I hope to have the chapter posted next week. Once Chapter 3 is done I'm starting on 4, and 4 will be the last chapter I post for awhile. I have no idea what will happen in Chapter 5 and I'm going to take a temporary hiatus to edit the beginning chapters again.

I also managed to create a penname for myself. Huzzah for secret names.

Who else has seen Quantum of Solace? It was rather disappointing in comparison to Casino Royale. They sacrificed the plot in QoS to have action.

Hard to believe it's November already. Time flies. Halloween was great, I had a lot of fun with my friends. I'm extremely tired today though.

I'm going to be working on writing a lot this month. I want to get Chapter 3 and 4 done and since I currently have no ideas for Chapter 5, I'll going clean up the first 4 chapters once everything's written. I'm also going to work on a couple comedy stories to take a break from the seriousness of Predator and Prey.

And I've taken more shifts at the library so I can afford my Europe trip next year. I still work every monday, and I'm working the Tuesday programs now.

I'm still working on chapter 2. I'll finish editing as soon as I can and I think I'm going to post it to critiquecircle before I put it on dA, since I get a lot more edits when I submit a story to the site and it saves readers from having to read a crappy version, then I edit it and they either read it again or ignore it, and wait until Chapter 3.

I have ideas for Chapter 3 and 4 and I'm eager to work on 3 since 4 is going to be fun.

It makes no sense for Rimé to travel with no one but his cousins, so he's getting guards.

So I'm rewriting the first chapter to include the new arrivals, and my history amigo is going to help me with editing. I'm helping him with ideas for his story and he said he'd help me edit mine, and help is something I need quite badly when it comes to Chapter Ones.

In other words, Chapter 2 is going well. I've edited it again and am liking it much more. Aries sounds more evil, at last, and I've managed to describe his lair quite well.

I would finish 2 before starting on 1 again, but the guards show up in chapter 2 so everyone would be horribly confused to see three random strangers that weren't there before.

Hey, I got back from Marquette yesterday but was too tired to update. It was fun to see my sister again but the drive back was a nightmare. The weather was awful and my family ended up having to take the back roads once we got into the LP since the car kept jerking around on the highway and crap... which added an extra 3 hours. So we got home at 8:30 PM after leaving around 10 AM. Not a fun drive.

School... not much to say. Spanish is ok. I like French better but I can deal with Spanish. Astronomy is also ok. Commie apps is my own personal hell. It's so mind-numbingly boring. It's a struggle to stay awake. Military history is good though.

So yeah, sometime this week I will actually be posting something. I just need to finish editing it. Then once that's done I'm working on Predator and Prey again. I have new ideas for it.

I have Astronomy, Spanish 1 (which is odd... since I'm a French student. I kept wanting to say things in French, then remembered I was in Spanish. I'll be confusing myself next semester when I have French III), a 30 minute study class in the coldest room in the school, Business Computer Applications, then I can finally eat lunch before my stomach eats myself. Then after lunch I head to 4th hour: Ancient Military History. I like what we're going over and I've had my teacher before, and he's really cool.

I need to drop a ton of junk off in my locker. I have 2 binders, 3 textbooks, some folders, a couple notebooks... and now I have no room in my backpack for my lunch or a book. I weighed my bag and it weighs 23 pounds.

Hard to believe school starts next week. I'm not looking forward to the classes but I do want to see my friends again, especially since my best friend is never online anymore and I only see her at taekwondo or the rare moments I see her in person to watch a movie or something.

I've got two important tests this week. Thursday is my taekwondo graduation, I'm testing for my purple belt and I'm pretty confident about that. So long as I don't mess up on my double chucks drill I'll be fine. The day after that is my road test which I'm nervous about. My goal is to have my license before school starts. The driving I'm not worried about, it's the parking lot part of the test that worries me.

And I seem to be unable to write. I don't know what to do with Predator and Prey. Sorry but I don't know if I'll ever get past Chapter 2. I will finish the chapter but I don't know what's going to happen past then since it's just going to be Aries torturing Rimé in a (futile) attempt to break his spirit. Might do a couple scenes from those parts and the final chapters where he recieves the bite and what happens when he does reach his home.

Going to the ren fest tomorrow. Couldn't get a hold of my best friend. I didn't think she'd be able to come anyway. Most of the time when I call her to do something she can't. And my other best friend is having brunch at 12 and won't miss out on food, so she's not coming. This'll be weird. I've always been to the Michigan ren fest with a friend or my step-cousin. Ah well, Rowan can be my brother lol.

I don't know when I'm going to be taking my road test since the drivers ed guy still hasn't called. I want my license before school starts so I can drive there, but I don't know if that's possible.

I've been having trouble with my stories. Chapter 3 of my novel just... pretty much sucks. I honestly hate it since it's boring and I want to get to the good parts of the book. Predator and Prey is starting well now that I've worked on it but I'm not sure if it's something I'm going to be able to finish. And I started a story with my friend who's having brunch. We decided to make a series that mocks cliches and our first theme is lost heirs. We have the lost heir who was abandoned in the forest as a baby and when he's 17 he meets a spirited princess. We had a lot of fun outlining the story. Lots of laughs there, I'll probably kidnap her on Monday to work on it.

Camp ended Friday and I got my green belt with no troubles. Unfortunately, I got sick over the weekend and am still recovering from a cough/stuffy nose/formerly sore throat. Which sucked since Saturday was the day of the Ox Roast Parade and I was going to go riding with my aunt, but I just felt really crappy and didn't want to move.

I have 46.5 hours of driving and plan to take my road text next Thursday, if possible. I'm excited to get my license and I need to practice parallel parking... but the cones are never set up when I want to practice.

My purple belt testing is coming up in a week. I can (finally) get rid of the form I've had since April. Yes! And our weapons is double nunchucks... I wish we would go over the drill more often in class. I had a private lesson yesterday and am feeling much better about the drill, but I'd like to practice it more often in class.

...I'm so tired. (And I wanted to get rid of the super long journal.) Camp started Monday and that in itself isn't very tiring since you don't get much of a workout. It's meant for younger kids but just hanging around them for 4 hours is pretty draining. I don't know how the helpers can stand to do this twice in the summer, their patience is incredible.

At least my best friend is in camp with me so that works out, and I get 40 minutes of drive time everytime I go to camp. I've got about 41 hours of drive time in (so close to getting my license!) She's convinced me to come to taekwondo tonight so we can get a good workout. I feel like I live there, lol.

Now for Olympics. It's annoying how it's basically focusing on "US vs China!!" all the time. I love watching the gymnastics competitions but I was too tired to watch all of it last night, so I figured they'd have it on youtube. It's basically just the American team. The Chinese girls won the gold medal and their routines aren't even online. From what I saw of them they were really good and it's annoying that their routines aren't posted on youtube and the Americans are.

Taekwondo and Olympics aside, I haven't been able to write much this week. I was so busy yesterday. Camp 9-11:15 (I had to leave early, it's usually 9-1) then work 12-4:30, then I was at a friend's house to watch a movie. I'm working on rewriting/editing chapter 1 of Predator and Prey since I'm not satisfied with Aries. And in chapter 3 of my book I need to write up an outline since right now I'm basically wondering what to do.

Hey, for everyone reading Predator and Prey I'm not going to be able to get to it for a bit. I'm stuck on chapter 2 and the story in general. I'll probably touch up the first chapter once I have more ideas but I'm putting it on hold until I know more about what's going to happen, and until I can get Aries to be in character. I'm really struggling with him and it's bugging me.

And I've (finally) started working on my novel again. I finished book 1 last year and immediately got stuck on chapter 1 of book 2. It only took about ten minutes to look through the first version from 2005 to find ideas for a plot so I'm annoyed at myself for taking forever.

But chapter 1 has a good start. I'm editing it now since it sounds like crap and once it's been revised I'll be able to finish it. The beginning of this one doesn't drag so much as it did in the other one and I'm eager to get to the good parts.

Writing news aside, I saw Batman: Dark Knight on Sunday. Dark indeed. It was really good though and Heath Ledger did an amazing job as the Joker. R.I.P. Heath.

And I had a taekwondo tournament Saturday... I had a lot of fun hanging out with my friends but the actual competing ruined tournaments for me. I'm not confident in myself when it comes to testing, competing, etc and I did worse at the tournament than when I was a white belt. Bleh.

Finally finally FINALLY I have finished How Ash and Ciaran Met. Started it on October, couldn't get work done on it until November, and have been working on it off and on since then. I finished the first draft awhile ago (can't remember when) and I finally finished editing every chapter (sometimes multiple times) today.

Now I'm starting Predator and Prey and that and Stay With Me shall be my main focus.

I'm finally close to finishing How Ash and Ciaran Met. Editing Chapters 12 and 13 and the epilogue are all I have left then I'm finished. Once that's out of my hair I'm starting Predator and Prey. I'm not nagging for reviews but please comment on the chapters when I get them up. I can only judge my own writing so well and two of the RL friends I show my writing to either say nothing about it or think it sounds great the way it is and don't give me any critiques.

And I caught 's 30K so I get a picture I'm having Ciaran drawn. I would have done Ash but I've got a couple pictures for him and none for Ciaran, so he was chosen. Go check out her gallery, she's a great artist and she's really nice.

I got back from Colorado Springs around 3 in the morning today. That drive was exhausting... plus Rowan is a seat hog! For such a little pup he takes up a lot of room.

Vacation was really fun. The weather was overall really good, it got cloudy in the afternoon but myself and the parents only got rained on once and that was when we were walking from the parking lot to the Garden of the Gods Trading Post. (The fudge there is amazing. Expensive, but amazing)

Well I started taekwondo camp on Monday and it's not what I expected. I knew there'd be a lot of kids but I expected a good workout and that I'd learn something. Instead it feels like too much time is wasted going over things I already know, playing games, and waiting for the little kids to shut up and pay attention. (I don't like children and the only ones I actually like are well behaved ones that don't drive me up the wall. Such as my little cousin.)

Anyway... we just do the same stuff pretty much over and over again. I know my form but since we keep repeating it and there's no one to help me out with my technique I feel like my form is getting crappy even though I know the movements.

So camp isn't that great. Aside from Anthony walking into a pole (which is something he'd do), being with the instructors I like, and getting to know the three teens closest to my age (who are all incoming freshmen) it's been disappointing.

It's almost over though. With camp I get my camo belt on Friday and a couple hours after camp's over I'm leaving for Colorado.

My To Do List is still the same but I'm not going to be able to finish my goal of having How Ash and Ciaran Met done before I go to Colorado. *shakes fist at Black Cat* Addicting manga! I had to read it online and I've been wasting too much time reading it. And when I'm not reading Black Cat or at ATA I'm playing Spryo. I have managed to work on chapter 9 but it's not as much as I'd planned to have done. I'll try to have it finished before I leave Friday but I'm not sure if I can.

...And dA changed the site again. I highly dislike the new journal layout. It's on my list of dA changes that I'd be better off without.

Anyway... school (finally) ended on Wednesday so I'm free at last from school. I don't even want to think about my math final but I got an A- on my history final and an A+ on the French one and I finished first in the class, which was impressive since I doubt that's ever happened before.

I'm still nervous about Saturday since I'm testing for my yellow belt. I don't feel prepared. I know the second half of my form but I keep messing up on it. I sort of remember the first one step and I'm lost on the second. I can't do the hand technique very well since I'm incredibly paranoid that I'm going to break my hand and I'll probably fall over when I do a jump side kick x_X

Paranoia about testing aside, I'll be a resident of ATA next week since I've got a summer camp 9-1 Monday thru Friday. And my regular classes on Monday and Wednesday. So I shall be dead next week but it'll be worth it since I get a belt for that.

And I'm still working on my To Do List. How Ash and Ciaran Met is my main priority and I don't know if I'm going to actually do the bonus chapters. I'm wondering how to fit the second one for Atsukofire into the story and I'm starting to run out of motivation to write anything else into it.

Once I have that finished I'll be able to work on some stories so I can actually be alive on dA again. I might be able to start one with Aries and Rimé this week but I doubt it.

And I'm really nervous about Saturday. I test for my yellow belt but I'm still struggling with the forms and one steps, I'm semi ok at the defense method, but my round kicks are much better than they used to be so I'm glad for that.

I've rewritten chapter 1 and it just needs a second round of edits so it doesn't sound so choppy. After I get that chapter done, I'm moving on to chp 1 of Stay with Me. Need to completely rip that apart and change it a lot so I can actually continue off it.

I've got today off so that's good. I've been pretty wiped out this week. Taekwondo's wearing me out.

And for some odd reason dA had me unwatch everyone on my list... gr... their names were still there, but not their deviations or anything.

Speaking of dA... I now have 4,000 pageviews. Cool ^_^ I never even noticed lol. And to rant about dA: what the heck is with this site? I submit something and it shows up in the completely wrong order. Same with favs. I'll fav something and half the time it won't even show up. And with collections stuff is getting out of order. I've had to redo one collection so many times I no longer want to bother. It's seriously starting to piss me off.

Gah! It's driving me nuts. I have writer's block in my novel since I can't get past the first chapter... and I need to edit the prologue since it's truly horrible.

And, I've decided to work on my story with Ash and Zav again. I finally got more ideas and motivation to write it again. I have literally given up on the second chapter though. I need to get more of the story done before I can focus on chapter 2... and I really should edit the first chapter to give the story a better start. I'll try to work on that tomorrow and maybe I can get chapter 2 revised and sounding more complete.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! I'm not Irish so I can't really celebrate but Ciaran is Irish in Modern so he can be happy.

In math this morning I decided I wasn't done with my story. The last line felt too incomplete and sounded rather cliche. So I thought about it and managed to write up a really choppy, horrible sounding epilogue that ends it. (First drafts for me are a disaster) I just need to edit that and then I'm done with the story- aside from editing.

I'm just glad I'm finally close to finishing. I thought of this idea back in October but had so much trouble getting past the first chapter. I was stuck there forever but finally managed to move on, getting to more of the story. I got stuck a lot in other places and it's started to become a nightmare to write in certain spots.

Once I'm done with the epilogue and end of chapter 13, I'm going to take a break. I want to work on the prologue of my new book and the goal is to have that done by the end of this month. And I want to work on Stay With Me since I got ideas for that in French (I get so many ideas in school when I'm supposed to pay attention. Haha)

And by the way- Horton Hears A Who is funny. ("I see you have mastered the way of the snapping branch!") I saw it yesterday with a friend after our taekwondo tournament. I basically lived with her yesterday lol. Tournament, home, movie, home, then I saw a play at the school with her again. Great fun. We laughed so hard and it was even more hilarious because my other friend got dragged on stage

k so yesterday morning, I turn on my computer and go to log in to AIM. It won't let me. My interent connection is working perfectly so I try reinstalling the AIM program, but I still have the same results.

I'm forced to use the newer version of AIM and I keep trying to get my preferred program to work, but still with the same results. This morning I completely uninstalled AIM 5.9 and reinstalled it. Still doesn't work.

Is this happening to anyone else? My friend has the same program but her AIM is working perfectly and I don't think she's ever had a problem with it.

I will have happy birthday sung to me four times today... my friends ambushed me at lunch and sang, then at creative writing club, and at taekwondo tonight. At least my French teacher didn't realize it was my birthday so I was spared from another song.

My (probably impossible) goal is to have the main part of my How Ash and Ciaran Met story done. As I said, probably impossible since I've readdicted myself to playing my GameCube. It's highly distracting but fun. So I'm doing my best to work on my story. And I thought of another thing with Ciaran as a modern day Irish teen so I'll do something with that when I get the time.

Anyway, hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day/Single Awareness Day. Mine was good. I got candy from Mom ^_^ Yay for reeses peanut butter cups. And I finished my Valentine's Day story and at my creative writing club meeting we were talking about romance in stories but then got horribly sidetracked as usual. That's what you get for a roomful of teenagers XD

Unfortunately I have to go up to Marquette today. It'll be nice to see my sister again but the drive up there is agonizing. It's around 7 hours in good weather but since it's winter... ai. The Marquette Curse kicked in a couple weeks early. (Hey I'm getting paranoid like Ciaran lol)

Taekwondo is going great and I'm coming in early next Thursday so they can evaluate my progress. Yesterday's class was great and I had a ton of fun. Mr. Chee (I'm so sorry if I spell his name wrong) helped me and he's really intense about taekwondo but he's so nice. He was going over the moves with me since I'm a newbie and he was really helpful. I never want to piss him off though, whenever he kicked at my hand (we had the big black pads) I'd practically fall over. Ah well, I'm weak and short lol.

Writing wise- I've got some ideas for a few new things to work on once I've finished How Ash and Ciaran Met. I've been getting stuck in it due to boring parts but I'm finally on Day 2. I just finished a good part from it and the story's 40 pages long O_O geez it's going to be a long one. I think there's only a few more chapters to write but after that comes the editing x_x.

I've got a story I'm working on for Valentine's Day with Ash's parents since I need more stuff of them together.

And my birthday is in 18 days ^_^

My birthday is in 27 days and today is a snow day That's the second one this week. Never thought it would happen but I did get a snow day so I'm happy. My house has become a zoo since my aunt dropped off Blaze (red siberian husky) and Roxy (sheltie who is Rowan's cousin) so my family can watch them while she's in vacation.

Yesterday was my third taekwondo class and it's really fun. Everyone is so nice and eager to help me out. I wish I'd joined it sooner. I didn't know I'd have so much fun there.

And my new classes for school suck. Algebra crap, health, U.S. History. The only class I like is French II. So basically I'm going to die this semester due to these classes ><

Yeah for writing, there won't be anything to put up on dA until I finish the story I'm working in. I won't be submitting that here but when I finish that, I'm going to try and work on my novel.

First (to the everlasting regret of my muscles) I've joined taekwondo. Finally, lol. My friend got me into it and I said I'd do it back in June but never got around to doing so and now I'm finally in. I had my first class yesterday and I'm really sore from it but I enjoyed myself. My instructor's really nice and I got my white belt. He wasn't going to give it to me until Tuesday but said I did a great job so I get it early. So I'll be doing taekwondo on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Second... it's a new semester. I'll be going through hell since I hate 3/4 of my classes. I have algebra (gag) then health (with the teacher I hate) then U.S. history (boring) and then my only decent class: French II. So my first three classes are horrible and I'll be horribly stressed. Joy. Not.

Yeah so anyway, that's what's new in my life. Still working on my stories. 'How Ash and Ciaran Met' is the main occupation I'm working on now. I've put Stay With Me on a temporary hold until I a) edit the beginning of chapter 2 and b) come up with more ideas for that chapter and the story in general. And I need to work on my prologue... but I just don't want to. Blah >< last novel I ever write.
