So, AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta) is coming up, and I finally managed to find a way to go. At first, since the convention is so close (it's the 19th), I decided that I wasn't going to cosplay. But, the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to. So I have made up my mind to go as a female version of Luigi! All I need to do is find a denim overall skirt. I'm sure I can get the hat off of eBay, and after that I only need some knee high black tights and a green shirt (both very easy to find). I already have a cute pair of black pumps I could wear, or I could just wear my green boots.

The only thing I'm worried about is the overall skirt. Those aren't easy to find. I think there may be one at Forever 21, so I'll check there first. I can also try my local thrift store.

Here's how this will work:

[link] One thing about this ride though. Looking at it, and riding it are two completely different things. For one, it's MASSIVE! This badboy filters 5,000 gallons of water a minute. Another thing is, that video is deceiving. It looks like they aren't going too fast out of that tunnel, and that the slope is a nice angle. When you come out of the tunnel, you are literally pointing straight down and going a LOT faster. When we started on the ride, I was thinking, "Oh this is actually kinda nice." Then we got to the drop off and I literally pulled an . I felt sorry for my cousin though because he had to take on the drop off backwards.

Also, I totally just got a tablet for my birthday! (And that was pretty much all I got XD) It's just a small Bamboo Fun, but I'm really excited.

It's summer!

Just decided to do a little bit of an update, seeing as it's been a few months since Easter.

Summer break! WOOHOO! ....kinda. Now that I'm home, and both of my parents work from home, I can't get online as much. One reason is because my parents don't like me to spend 4+ hours at a time on the computer. The second reason is because my internet at home likes to unexpectedly drop like a rock for sometimes hours at a time. And it's just on my computer that it does this!

Good news though, I might have a job (finally!) at a local hardware store so that means more money for me! Now I can afford art supplies (PAINT!)! Also, I can afford to blow money on a subscription rather than scrounging for gas money. And I've gotten a good idea for a drawing and an emote as well, which I will work on once I finish designing a patch for my dad's fire department.

Well, first off the bat I would like to thank all of the people who faved and commented on Everybody Hold Hands! Also thanks to *kamizuki for suggesting it for a DD and to ^Synfull for featuring it

Well, I got back to school after Easter right as a massive storm system was sweeping through. Around 12 that night I was watching a movie for a class and my roomie was watching tv and we had the blinds up, because I like to watch the lightning, whenall of a sudden there was this MASSIVE blue flash that came from across the street. We both immediately crowd around the window and try to see what it was. When we couldn't see anything we went back to what we were doing, except that the cable was now out so my roomie just turned off the tv and went to bed. Not 2 minutes later I look out the window again, only to see that there was a MASSIVE fire now issuing from the area of the giant blue flash! A transformer had either gotten hit by lightning or got blown down (the wind was really bad) and caught shit on fire! It was AWESOME!! The fire department was there until 1:30 trying to put it out. This morning I went exploring campus but couldn't figure out what it had been, but there was a large tree that had fallen near it and a downed power pole a little ways down the road. There was also a downed power pole on the way to one of my classes and a really large tree had fallen outside the President's House. A nasty little storm to say the least.

On another note, have you ever found a bruise and not known where the hell it came from. I just found one below my knee and it's pretty large and painful. But I can't remember where it came from

Just a little update. Working on three pictures right now. Not a single one close to being finished. Plus I'm thinking I'm gonna do a doodle spam dump! There might be a lot though so it might turn from one spam dump to maybe two or three!

Btw, does anyone here have some advice on apartments? I need to find one before the fall semester and I don't really know anyone who needs an apartment or lives in one that's in need of a roommate. I'm trying to make sure I have a roommate because it will make it a good bit cheaper. Any advice on what to look for??

Well, time for me to get back to class after my (way too short) spring break. I had lots of fun and got sunburned and 2 splinters! It was lotsa fun I took lots of pictures while camping so when I get some more time I'll upload some of the good ones (if there are any, I haven't really looked at them that closely yet).

Oh my goodness! What a week it's been (so far DX)

First, had a quiz on Tuesday, then a test and a quiz on Wednesday, a paper due Thursday (which I just finished WOOT!!) and then two tests and a lab on Friday! ANNNNNND! Spring Break is next week!! All of my teachers suddenly decided to push everything they could into this one week and it's exhausting! But, that's what I get for taking all core classes. I just have to make it till Friday afternoon and all will be well and I can go home and rest and do arts and hopefully go camping! Gah! I can't wait.

BTW: I'm currently working on a small comic. I'm really excited about it, even though I have consistently managed to draw both characters completely different in each panel

Lookit! New avatar!! Totally made that myself. Well, animated it myself. I got the sprites from a sprite resource site but it is beyond me what the name of said site was, which makes me rather sad actually because they had some good ones T^T

Well, I'm finally back on my feet after a nice lil bout with the flu. I'm still coughing up stuff but I think that falls under TMI!!! so I won't say anymore. I haven't touched that new version of Seeing Forever in a while, but I promise, once I get caught up with everything, it's the first thing on my to-do list. *exhaustion* Well, time for me to go pass out for the rest of the night. woohoo! Got my computer back again! (I just love that lil animation of eager. Its so cute!!!)

I have a new pic that I can put it up, but it will have to wait till after class and whatnot, then I'll attempt to scan it and clean it up. The thing that's got me excited is that I had to get my motherboard replaced. So they told me that all of the stuff on my computer would be gone. So, since I could not turn it on I had to take it to a computer place and get them to remove the things I needed, which cost me $65. Well, I got my computer back and everything's still there. Oh well at least I now have a backup cd of those documents. And I don't have to go through the process of reinstalling photoshop and my rocket dock!

Also I have a new picture that I'm working on. Its another version of Seeing Forever (which is in my gallery) It's going to be done with pointilism so its gonna take FOREVER!!! but I'm excited because I haven't done that form of work in forever.

Apparently they never actually fixed my laptop. They just got it to turn on. So of course, it is once again broken. This time im sending it to HP and they're gonna replace my mother board and hard drive. Hopefully they have their priorities straight and will get the computer back to me in the time they say they will (and wont put random music on it I swear when I got it back I had a bunch of jamaican reggae music on there that I know that none of my family or me listen to). I;m just glad I don't have to pay for it.

HUZZAH! I've finally gotten my computer back! I'm really happy about it too because I just transferred to a different university, which is about 100 times bigger than my old one and I would have to walk practically across campus to get to a computer. Believe me, my feet are rejoicing! I've been doing some drawings but I have yet to scan and edit etc. so it might not be till next weekend when I may have some time to do that (soooo much reading @_@)

I have a really nice picture that I'm almost finished with and I will post it when I get the chance, but unfortunatly my computer has decided it doesn't feel like working anymore! Sooo I have to find my warranty paperwork and take it back. Until then I can't really post any pictures due to the fact that I dont really have anyway of posting them. I usually put them on my computer and fix them up so you can see them after the scanner has taken its toll on them. Of course, I could use the library computers, but they're a pain, plus they don't have the software that I use. This is really gonna be a pain!

since I wrote one of these things! I'm horrible at updating. Lazy maybe Annnyway...... I am currently working on maybe 2 digital pieces which will be on hold for a lil while. The end of the semester is coming up and I'm hoping to transfer. But first, I must take care of my final projects!! I have to have 12 pieces for B&W photography by the end of the semester and I haven't even shot a thing due to a severe artist block But never fear! I have come up with an idea! and it involves....wait for it......

STUFFED ANIMALS!!! (or some other form of toy )

There may even be some teddy bear masacre, but I'm not sure yet

EDIT: I just looked up my final schedual, and both my bowling class and photography aren't listed. But my other three are. I have one exam a day on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Downside......THEY'RE ALL AT FREAKIN 7:30 IN THE MORNING!!!!

In other news, I'm going to AWA with a few friends and I'm going as L from Death Note mostly because L is made of pure win. Plus, his costume is very low budget and I have the same haircut so I won't have to worry about the cost of a wig XD

Finals are now about to be upon us, and I'm gonna be sooooooo stressed out with them and packing all of my crap up. I will try to start on a new pic. At first I was working on Vash from Trigun, but for some strange reason *stares at Katlyn* I'm incredibly obsessed with Samurai Champloo. So I will put Vash and Urahara aside so I can do hordes of Samurai Champloo fanart. Up next *if I have the time* is going to be Jin.

BTW, Pandora.com rocks! Unfortunately the music I'm really wanting to listen to is mostly samples, so this awesome song comes on and I'm like "YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSHHHH!!!" and I totally start rocking out and then it ends in like 6 secs TT^TT oh wells, it still rocks

=_= ugh, I'm soooo tired. I can't wait for it to be summer vacation. I wish I could just fast foward time to when I'm going home, and all of my projects and papers were done, with all of them getting at least a high B, and the same for my finals too.

On another note, I've been experimenting with vector art. Unfortunatly I won't be submitting anything worthwhile in a while. I've mainly been using it to finish a project. And trust me, it ended up going faster than I thought, so I'll be able to get my presentation done on time (hopefully)

I promise, once all of the finals, and stress and crap like that are over with, I will be able to start submitting stuff.

I have a really funny story to tell about my trip to the business office:

~Wednesday~
Okay, setting this story up: On Wednesday my mom called me as I was about to go to Chinese. She said she wanted to put some money in my account so i could have a lil extra cash. I told her, "Well, I need to pay the housing deposit."

Mom: How much is it?
Me: $300 dollars. and i need to pay it before Monday.
Mom: okay, i'll put 400 in. the extra 100 is because you need to buy some new clothes.
Me: okay.

~Friday~
I get out of work and and think to myself 'Okay, time to go pay the $300.' So i start to make the long gruesome walk (it's cold and raining) to the business office. I walk in:

Lady: Hi there! Here to pay your housing deposit?
Me: Yep
Lady: Okay I'll need you ID number.

I give her my id number.

Lady: Okay, it looks like you have some credit from last semester. You you like to use it to help pay the deposit?
Me: Sure

i thought, it's probably not much. the most it could be is like $100.

Lady: Okay, the remaining balance is...
Me: *pulls out checkbook*
Lady: $15
Me: o___________o ........... *thinks to self 'Holy fuck!'*

so now i have an extra $385 in my account.

Hello everybody! It's kinda been a while since I've been on. Ok, since then I've started going to college (loving most of it by the way, except for english and parts of conversational chinese). I have a roommate, and I must say this:

When you go to college, and your roommate is addicted to Buffy and Angel so much
that the only thing they do is sit in front of the computer for 6-7 hours straight(yes she has done this!) reading fanfictions to these shows, and that's all they read (including a few medical terminology and star wars books) and will refuse to read anything else, never talks or goes to hang out with friends, complains about how every living thing on earth has been mean to them or that they can't stand them, and a WHOLE BUNCH of other crap, RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

I swear I'm gonna go insane! she never moves from that friggin chair! Unless she has to go to the bathroom, eat, or go to class. She then complains that she never has any free time and gets really pissed when she's has to, say, write a paper. (I'm sitting on my bed thinking, "Well, maybe if you spent less time on the computer then maybe.....!") She acts like she's incredibly busy and like she's got an insane amount of homework and soooo much time in class, when all she really has is 15 hours. and she yells at me that i can't possibly know what kind of stress she's going through!. Here's a brief look at my week: 17 hours of class, 11.5 of work study, then around 2-5 hours studying each night for each class, art projects, plus 2 scholorships that require my gpa to be at least a 3.0. She's not on any scholarships and she doesn't work.

Anyway, I'm going to try to post mor stuff more frequently. It kinda depends on my free time though. I haven't really had time to do art for myself in a while.

Yes, I'm still around! I havn't been very active though. Just looking and never commenting, posting a simple pic once every...ummm......6 months. So far I've graduated highschool and will soon be attending Brenau University. That's about it... OOOHHH! I have another dot pic i'll put up soon. It got me first at state. The only problem is that it's too big for the scanner, so i'll have to get my sis's camera and get a pic of it. i'll try to do that as soon as i can.

at least for a few months... i will officially be a senior on thursday. i don't have to take my exams either because i was exempt from all of them for good grades and attendance.so school was over for me friday!

in other news we are celebrating my grandparents 50th aniversary this saturday. we r doin a big suprise party for them. their aniversary is actually tomorow but they have plans so we had to do it saturday

i promise i'm workin on another pic in photoshop i just havn't found the time. my dad won't let me get on the computer very long so it doesn't give me enough time to work on anthing. i'm also workin on another dot pic. this one is even more detailed than the last one @_@ sooooooo many dotsss!!!!

ugghhhh! i have soo much homework and then there's softball practice so i'm not able to get on the computer much at home. i have a pic that i'm workin on in photoshop i promise! i just havn't had much time to work on it though. it's getting done little by little.

on another note my lil sis just gave me a cold so i know that softball practice is going to be bad. i'm not sneezing yet but my head is blocked up and it feels heavy and i'm tired, i have a headache and i just feel like crap. then of course it's raining so we have to practice in the gym and i'm sure that the guys won't want us practicing at the same time they are. they did it last year but this year we wont care. it's almost the same sport so they can share!

well... happy new year everyone i just don't really feel like writing a journal but i will.

school sucks!!! our teachers have been loading us with homework ever since we came back on tuesday. my english teacher has been assigning essays every night!!!!!! and algebra just sucks like always.

christmas was good for me though. i got Photoshop CS2 YAY!!!! and i got a set of radiograph pens and a kakashi doll i'll put up something from photoshop once i get it figured out.

on another noter...... today my dad had to run a call( he's a volunteer firefighter) and it was really wierd because we usually don't have this type of call in our area and i've never heard of someone actually reporting it. ne way the call was a cat was stuck 40 feet up in a tree........ o_o...????? i really have never heard this call before! and that's strange enough cuz we've been with the fire department our whole lives! my great grandfater was a member of this fire department! and i've never heard one of those calls in real life.

HIIIII!!!!! i'm baaack! i've actually been on but i just didn't do ne thing. lazy and school work. also i'm a junior and juniors r in charge of homecoming at our school soooo.... i've been a bit busy. i've been drawing a lot but i havn't put ne thing up. in me art class i've i'm atempting for the first time to paint a person. with acrylics. i've only done animal and landscapes so i'm kinda worried but it's not so bad so far.

hey! srry that i havn't really done ne thing in a while. i'm back at school and being a junior is really taking up a lot of my time. of course once softball season starts it's gonna be worse. ohhh well. as long as i keep my grades up i'll be happy (plus i won't have to take the finals ^^)

neeeee way the funniest thing just happened to me. i was leaving from our school football game right after half-time ( in my dad's ford focus) and there were some police cars there. one of them was pulling out and i got behind him. then i remembered what my math teacher said about the speed limit past the school gates being 15mph so i look at my speedomiter to make sure i wasn't going to fast, but i couldn't see my speed cuz the speedomiter light wasn't working. about 20 yards maybe i pull over and the cop in front of me pulls over but i didn't really pay attention to him cuz i thought he was waiting for his cop buddy to come up. my sis tells me to try restarting the car so i did but it still didn't work. then the cop in front of us gets out of his car and comes over. he asks me what the problem is and i tell him that my speedomiter light isn't working. he says well maybe it's because ur lights aren't on and he reaches inside the car and turns the headlights on and on comes the speedomiter light! i felt soooooo stupid. he said that the reason he had pulled over was because he was waiting to see if i would turn on my headlights! ^-^; the thing is that whenever i'm driving at night i usually drive my moms car and hers come on automatically while my dad's u actually have to turn them on. i didn't even realize my headlights weren't on.

ugggh! u know that pic i said i was workin on. well i had to give up on it because PSP8 is sucha crappy system that it can't do shading right! GRRRRRR!!! i've gotta get photoshop or something that is really good and not as primitive as PSP

soooo bored. sorry that i havn't been putting ne thing up lately. i've been spending too much time on runescape that i havn't been on paintshop pro in a long time. it might still be a while before i ever do ne thing again. schools starting soon and i have a dentist appointment on the 3rd. *ish very nervous and scared*

I'm finally back from camping. i took some pics so i'll upload them as soon as i get them developed. i had fun. i stepped on a snake. (not really fun but something interesting to tell everyone.) i also did a lot of swimming at the creek nearby. (also saw a snake there to)
