Hopefully people will participate and have a little fun with it. I intend to take these simple beginnings and make it all get a little crazy.

but the good kind of crazy... like drunken lesbian crazy, not slapping a bear crazy...

In real life news I've started my new job and it is both very rewarding and very tiring. I'm not used to this whole 8:30 til 5 routine and it's killing me but hopefully I should get used to it eventually. It's refreshing to be in a situation where your work colleagues like and respect you...seems working at BT for so long previously warped my expectations somewhat.

I've also been watching Mnemosyne and it's really good. Not sure if I should be more disturbed by the horrific violence and regular nutidy... but the story is good. also thiers a whole lot of boobs, which is never a bad thing.

Also WAR is still great. I started levelling a Dwarven Engineer, which to all you FF people is pretty much like a Rng. Well like a Rng but with a massive wrench to hit people with. Also turrets and explosives. Oh also I don't have to buy my bullets. So like Rng but with the horrific pain trimmed from it and replaced with gadgets.

I got a new job where I'll actually be having to think, which I keep telling myself is a good thing. Excel is now my bitch.

I'm also fostering a brand new MMO addiction. WAR is really fun. My favorite bit is probably the castle sieges. There's nothing quiet like standing on a castle and covering people in hot oil whilst you laugh manically...

ok maybe the laughing part is just me but it's fun.

In reference to my previous post the response on here has been nil unfortunately. Despite this I have actually managed to pull my finger out my ass and start writing the book anyway. It's coming along really well, there's already been a bar brawl, a dark ritual and two naked women so you know it's good. I don't really feel comfortable posting it up here just incase I do ever bother finishing it and getting it published but if anyone feels like taking me up on the offer from the previous journal I could defiantely send it to you so you can get a feel for what the story entails.

In my heart I am a writer, pure and simple. Over the years I have come up with one specific piece of fiction that I am incrediably proud of, The world I call Shattered Ikarus.

In my mind I -know- that this world and the stories within it would make amazingly awesome comics. It probably sounds vain but I believe wholeheartedly that if what I have in my mind became reality it would be substantially better than the majority of comics being made today.

but here we come to the problem...as you may have noticed my drawing skills leave much to be desired. This is where you come in Deviantart, I need an artist to make my vision take flight...

I'm desperate, I'd even pay if I had any money, but I don't so I suppose I'm just reduced to begging.

If anyone with a skill for drawing comics, Steampunk style in particular, would be willing to bring Shattered Ikarus to life then please contact me and we'll work out the next step.

you know the problem with writing a comic based on an MMO? you have to really like the MMO to do it...

and do you know the problem with really liking an MMO? it EATS YOUR FREE TIME!

on the plus side we're currently steaming through the Windurstian Bureau collabrative comic so expect more of them as soon as I can poke Ameiko into getting them done

The sock puppet competition is still on...and who knows... maybe I'll also put the winning puppet into the collabrative comic so it can be drawn with some skill?

I do need some entries first tho... T_T;

I'll be updating every thursday till the END OF TIME. or until I get bored and/or the story arc reaches it's exciting finale...whichever comes first

I'll also be simultaniously running a competition to design a sock puppet summon for the summoner to use. I'll be limiting people to one entry each (although your more than welcome to design more than that and choose the best).

The winner will get their sock puppet featured in the story arc, a guest appearence from one of their own origional characters if they have one and take their rightful place at #2 on my list of awesomeness (I'm sorry, Kamina will always have #1).
