I understand some people are simply followers, and some are leaders. I completely understand and accept this. But for those of you that are following this new 'fad' of becoming a vegetarian because it's considered "cool", I am highly disappointed and disgusted.

This is not because I am not a vegetarian. I don't disagree with it's tradition, beliefs, and anything else inside the term - but the fact that people are calling themselves by this is absolutely absurd. "Wanna-be Vegetarians" as I call them, don't deserve the title. If you don't believe in the thing, DON'T ADDRESS YOURSELF AS IT.

I have done research on this following, so I know what standards there are. So there can't be an excuse for you. I know that there are plenty of ways to get most of the necessary nutrients and vitamins, but humans were meant to have a variety. I agree, some of the methods of collecting these products is a little disturbing; but if you don't truely believe in vegetarianism, don't starve yourself of these food groups unless you're completely prepared.
Think of it this way; you know those cliche diets that are always shown in the media? Those ones you start immediately, cold turkey? They don't work. And in that same way, neither does this.

Your body needs to be slowly eased into things like this that can affect the way it works.

Anyways. That needed to be taken off my chest. Please, feel free to openly leave comments and questions if you've read this far!

Because I would rather not have to repeat myself fifty million times, I'm going to explain it once, helping whoever actually reads my journals. xD

If the dream owner makes a local portrait file, and call it "lport0" the toasters, or whatever random portraits, will stop appearing.

Because the local0 (the invisible avatar) has no portrait in the default, and if the dream creator doesn't put one in, it automatically uses the last default portrait; which just so happens to be the toaster portraits (or, whatever the dream owner changes the toaster portraits into). But, because of how the local portraits are set up, it uses the portraits as the nametags on the Furcadia screen, thus blinding everyone. I'm not sure why Furcadia hasn't made the file themselves, but.. yeah. That's how it's fixed. xD

So.. I've been trying a whole bunch of new stuff lately. For one, I've done my first ever background/scenery/landscape scene.. and it turned out pretty cool. 8D So, I'm kinda proud of myself.

Family Ranting. 8D
Well.. lately it's been weird around my house. End of Term was Thursday, and my parents are upset with me because one assignment is missing for my extra class-- because I came in late, and was never told about it. Soo.. I've been hiding in my room. xD The long weekend was nice. Very.. relaxing. Except for the fact my little sister was still home, and was being her own .. how can I say this nicely without saying mean words. Er.. Bratty. She's always biting peoples heads off for no reason. Anyways, as long as I hid in my room, and she was in hers, it was all good. You know, I try to be so nice to her.. and she still flipps out at me. My parents are worried about her. We never know what's going on. I mean, it's natural for her to want privacy and all but.. we don't even KNOW her anymore. She's been doing some really weird stuff this past year, and it's worrying everyone. My dad is so mad at her, too. She texted so much one month, and piled up sooooo much money in that one month.. and she still owes him for it. Ee. I remember coming home to find him holding the bill. He was all, "Do you know how much texting she has done?" All I knew, was it was a lot. But.. not that much. Dx I'm not going to give out anything too direct because well.. I'll just say, it was a lot. And.. she owes him.. a lot. My mom's mad at her because of her paper route. She wants the money, but doesn't want to do the work. It just.. isn't how things work! x-x Then she bugs me to do it.. and of course, I have better things to do! xD So, she's kinda.. pushing herself away from us all. Then, she goes and pretends like I'm evil, and I treat her like a slave in this house, to her friends.. when.. it's the other way around. Ehh.. Well, enough of her.

It's always good to, after an unhappy thought, think of positive things. It just.. brightens up your day. <3 So, my grades are pretty good. Got a high B in Japanese even. Yey. <3 It was so difficult this year. And. Very annoying. My teacher likes to give out homework every day so.. Thursday, we were watching Spirited Away 'cause.. we have to watch Japanese movies.. x3 And, the bell rang. So, everyone's leaving and suddenly, "OH! HOMEWORK!" And then everyone ran. XD It was so funny. As soon as I was pushed out the doorway, I ran to my next class red-faced an laughing. I have no idea why it was so funny but.. it was. x3 The other classes went pretty smoothly. Except English. >> My class is so dumb. Although, it gets me out of doing large projects. xD There are these grade eleven boys who act like complete retards ALL the time (I'm not surprised..), and Miss Ellis is slowed waaaayyy down because of them. I know I'll be ready for next year though, even if we don't finish the whole year of work. I'm smart like that. So anyways, before lunch, the Vice came in and yelled at everyone. She scared me so bad, I almost cried. xD She was all pissed off because the guys were fooling around and.. a whole bunch of random crap. Of course, we had a Sub that day, so it made things worse. I was a good little girl, so I was allowed to go. xD Yay me!

Who or what inspired you to draw?

I 'unno. Most likely this blank sheet of blank paper that was found around my trailer that looked like it needed colorful scribbles all over it; when I was like.. under a year old.

What was the first thing you drew?

Hmm. I dunno. Perhaps it had to do something with and ink-y scribble on the back of a book. Oh. Wait. It was the back of a notebook. My mother saved it for me! xD I need to upload it though. Then everyone can see how good of an artist I was when I was who-knows-how-old; rather than the crappy artist I am now. 8D

Do you have any special editing program (Photoshop, etc)?

Er. MS Paint and GIMP? xD

Do you think you're a bad artist, standard (not good, not bad) artist, or excellent artist?

Uhm. Let me think. Well, I'm okay at drawing cartoon-ish things.. but I kill anything realistic. I'd say.. somewhere between Standard and a bad artist. xD

None of those, really. I just do art for fun. I really want to become the person that says, "And, how does that make you feel?" And then say it to people until they get sooo pissed off at me, they leave the room.

Anyways, the drama has died down a little, since I haven't really spoken to anyone in a while. My father has been going through so many different jobs now. No, he isn't fired. It's by choice. xD My classes are okay, and I really don't mind not being in almost all my classes without my friends. Just means lunch in the hallway will be even better. <3 Last year was a blast, and I plan on making this year better. Ehehe. Making fun of the new kids comming to the school. xD I can't WAIT for my little sister to get in this school. I'm going to give her such a hard time. >3 Anyways, so the job my dad is currently working at is Canada Bread, which covers dental. Oh, great. He spoke to me about it, and I'm getting braces right after new year. Dx I SO don't want them. But, my teeth are so crooked it's not even funny. I look like.. the Easter Bunny on Horror. x-o (Okay.. That's not the point of this journal by the way. Just gives some background to the important part.

As I said before, my dad loves crows. If he could, he'd have them as a pet. x-x Soo.. he decided, after watching this study a few months ago, that he would train one to come by every day at 7PM. So, he throws a cracker off the porch; and this crow flys to the trees, then to the neighbours roof, then to the cracker. After a couple times, it just flew to the trees, and at the cracker. The coolest part of it, is that it would take the cracker, and dip it in the puddle on the neighbours roof! Well, that proves to me they are pretty smart. Using the water to soften it to their liking and stuff.. perhaps even to it's liking. So.. it's two days later, I haven't checked to see how my dad's doing with this crow, but I know that yesturday it was hanging around. x3

And.. apparently, late last year there was an albino crow around my street. It's most likely dead by now because it was around.. mm.. late summer. Albino's don't last long unless they are kept apart from others of it's species.

Yeah.. so.. I just laughed at him. It's pretty cool, and I can't wait to see what happens in the future. I'll update you guys on this event as much as I can; only when there is something different about it, but yeah. ^-^

My birthday was on the 11th (Of April), and I was so excited for it. Unfortunatly, all my friends forgot. I was kinda bummed about it.. until my dad got home and I was able to open my family presents x3

So.. for all you curious people, I got: $115 dollars that are most likely going to go towards buying me an xbox xD, a PC game that my dad is already begging me to play, and.. -drum roll- a tablet!

Still kinda bummed my friends forgot though.. not to mention /none/ of my furcadia friends knew.. except some of the people in my alts pack. But yeah.. got nothing from my friends, because they are pooheads. x3

I've already started using the tablet and whatnot, so be ready to see lots more art. Unfortunatly, I still do not have any other program then MS Paint so.. this sucks. x3 Perhaps next year I'll be getting Paintshop.. although, I doubt it. Anyways, better not type too much or else no one will read it. x3
