As I sit here sucking upon a package of sixlets, I think about dA....

Lately I have introduced to my account the Demon's Game SGPs (Sexy Guy Pics) for your entertainment/enjoyment. The magic key to these pictures lay in a simple blue pencil.

This pencil (supposedly) does not show on a scanner, and so, not needing to be erased, saves time. Also, it doesn't clutter your drawing while you may, in fact, have many unnecessary lines. Meaning you keep your mind clear to find the true picture within...

In theory.

Yeah, well, lets just say it does scan, and is a royal pain in editing. Still... I does keep your mind free of worrisome clutter... till your whole page is blue, and not erasable...

Still, thanks to Gimp, I've managed to save these little poses for you to view. Be greatful.

And The Art It Inspires...

It seems that The Demon's Game has become known once again on DA, and that the art thereof may be in some demand. Considering this, I have begun work on several projects for said story (yes, yes, including Inii...) and have also come to the conclusion that some of my old Demon's art should be viewable on this account.

That said, I have chosen what I consider to be the best of that art to move from the old account to the new. You should be seeing it shortly.

And I will try to get up some new stuff as well. On the agenda are an Inactoi/Mioko/Ter combo and Inactoi's design sheet.

So, as you've seen, my scanner is, to some degree, working. And art has begun to flow. Some older, and some new. Especially Paradise art, since I was unable to read the series whilst I was gone.

Also my editing skills have suffered, so you're mostly seeing things in the raw, thus the lack of background...

Erm, if anyone wants to try their hand at a background for the Paradise-- Lost? Cast pic, please note me.

So, I have a lot of artstuffs to be presented, but alas, my brother who can repair my scanner troubles is very busy helping other people with their computers (he's a tech guy) so, sadly, I have nothing to show... Gomen ne.

In other news, I finished watching Black Cat, Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok, and Ginban Kaleidescope. Now I'm on to rewatching Full Metal Alchemist...

Oi, why is so much of this Shojo........ Ah, well.

Not that this has ANY relevance to my art, really... Oh, heck, maybe you can look forward to some fanart of said anime...

Up and Stumbling...

So, I have been working hard at doing some new art, and am pleased to say I have completed several projects almost all of which have to do with 's Paradise? novel.

These pictures will be a real treat for all of you Paradise? fans, so stay tuned! '

Hikari wont let me say more, so I'll refrain. The one problem I've run into is that one scanner (flatbed) is down, and the other (not flatbed) won't scan large pages, so... I'll think of something.

Well, I guess this is a sort of goodbye.

I have decided to go on a mission for my church, and will be gone for eighteen months. I will not be able to manage my account for that time, and my dear sister, =Hikari-Collection will be taking care of things until March of 2008. She will post art as she finds it amongst my old things, and will answer comments etc.

So then, I leave the 27th, and will be doing as many last-minute things as I can. I hope you can forgive my massive deviations, as there will be very few in the next year and a half. I won't hate you if you stop watching me... but please don't!

There was village in an icy region of a far off world. This village had one legacy, one legend: a pillar of ice that sat in the village square. It was said that deep inside was a treasure of untold value, a sculpture of a swan whose beauty was such, that to see it, was to be changed, forever. And that its creator had been a great Master of the Arts.

Many people had tried to melt, or cut away the ice, hoping merely to see such a sight, but it was an unnatural substance, and none could penetrate it.

One day, a traveler came to this remote land, and upon hearing the legend, returned to his homeland to tell his master, a noble lord, about the scultpure, knowing that his master loved such things.

The lord sent many of his soldiers to take for him the pillar, and its prize, and caused that villagers to be slaughtered, every one, so that none could dispute his ownership. They brought it to him, and he commanded that it be melted. But it would not melt.

He then commanded it to be cut and chipped away. But it would not yield.

And so, it sat once again in a place of honor, yet unviewed, in a small town square. There it sat for years, until at last the man who had found it, and told his lord of it, lay dying, his dream, to see it, unfulfilled.

His granddaughter knelt at his bedside, giving comfort in his final hours, and she listened to his last regrets. Moved by his desire to see the sweet bird, and also wishing to see it for herself, she set out to cut away the ice that had withstood years of summer's heat, and the assalts of men.

The ice still would not yield, though she tried her best, and while she worked, her grandfather passed from that world, and on, to answer for his greed.

Defeated and sad, the girl at last sat upon a stone step below the pillar, and wept sorrowful, hollow tears. As the tears feel upon the ice, it began to melt away, slowly, then more quickly, until great rushes of water ran down the streets, and the girl went from house to house, calling the people to see the sculpture that was soon to emerge.

And at last, the masterpiece shone free, not made of silver, or gold, but a stone of the likness of fire, glowing from within. Standing there was no swan of sad and graceful beauty, but

A mighty phoenix rose to touch the sky, and none dared to claim it.

I woke up to find myself horribly depressed. So, I cut myself.
Then, I got a blood infection, but I'm terrified of doctors, so I didn't go see one. Why, you ask? Well, you see, there was this doctor when I was five, and... No, I shan't go on and open old wounds...

Then, I decided to draw something, and my mother saw it (remember that I was depressed) and freaked out, saying I was a child of the devil. I screamed at her, and ran out of the house. But where could I go? You see, I got in a car wreck a short while ago, and...

Anyway, so I walked, or rather, ran. I didn't care where I was going, just far away from the nightmare that was my life... but, it followed me. It was terrible.

Then I found myself at the twenty foot drop, staring down into churning waters, black as my soul, and I knew it all had to end... But, my friend, my beloved saved me, and comforted me, and took me home, and... I feel much better!

If you haven't guessed, this is all a load of bull. My mom and I are good friends, I didn't cut myself, the doctor made me mad 'cause he gave some teddy bears to my sisters, and not me (they were hurt, you see...) I haven't been to the stupid twenty foot drop in years, and I don't have a beloved. Etc.

Just thought I'd mock some stupid people, if ya know what I mean...

Owen lost his heart to her when he was thirteen years old-- the first time he ever saw her. But his nature is such that he would die before he told her, would die before he looked at her with any form of emotion that could give it away. Heh, he's the strong silent type.

Ter has been her childhood playmate, teenage mischief-making comrade, and adult best friend and strongest supporter. He also worships the ground she walks on. Secretly.

And they both know the other has feelings for the woman.

As for Katanni herself, her hopes for the future were cut short long ago through a binding contract that has yet to happen... I know, that doesn't work... but it does, I swear.

BTW, I hate romance novels. Funny, huh?

For a long time I didn't know Ter loved his best friend, but after a while, I just sorta... knew. He started out as the mysterious little 'helper of the story', if you know what I mean, and I always intended for him to be secretly dark. As his past came to me, I watched him change in design. From big blue eyes and a little smirk, to even bigger blue eyes, and a kind smile.

Why, you ask? Well, because he wasn't deceptive enough. I didn't want the viewer to realize the extent of his pain, his 'darkness' from times long gone.

The Chronicles cover an extensive period of time, and I intended at first to write from the middle, and then jump back. Thus, Ter was a small and kind little manipulator of events, with a vast knowledge of things long gone. That is his role in the latter chapters of the history.

But, in the Age of Dragons (yes, yes, I know its over used...), Ter was a rebel, even a murderer, or perhaps 'avenger'. He broke the code of his people (pacifism), and became an outcast (though it was only through his intervetion that his people surrvived the war at all...). True to his role, he stoicly fights for his ideals, different though they are from the acknowledged norm.

Even Katanni, his oldest friend, cannot penetrate his dark reserve, and he becomes a legend as the first Cien'sen (dragon bonded... ish). That is when his eyes became red to me. They couldn't maintain the innocent blue of the previous designs, and so red they are.

The last touch was his long hair. Hair dictates a change. If you wish to show the passage of time, or the changing of a character, you simply alter their apperance in an obvious way. So I gave him a more elegant, adult feel through the long, sleek hair and removed the rugged, disheveled look.
