As for any other projects, I'm slowly working on them. I'm holding off on some drawings for my own personal entertainment for now; I feel so noobish compared to my junior ~xxKakyokuAmayaxxx, that I don't have much motivation to draw much. It'll come back.

School-wise, things have been getting pretty hectic for me. And it still is actually; I'm just relaxing a bit to type this up. Then it's back to my fail-transcription of "The Re-Coming" from GG2 XD (I guess you can call me somewhat of a masochist since Guilty Gear songs are hard to do... If not a guitar, then on a violin too, since the note range is limited. I had to make changes already since my violin won't hit the low F I wanted >A> )

Did I mention how much I hate the Internet right now? Seriously, I never was a big fan of Saw, but that stupid mask thing just keeps showing up EVERYWHERE. IT SCARES THE FREAKING BEJESUS OUT OF ME!

Well, Unhappy First Day of School. Worst holiday ever. Seriously ._____. Since I'm going to be busy with homework (damn honors classes; privilege my xss) my updates will be even more delayed than usual. (And motivation is lacking, so it's even worst.)

The teachers themselves aren't actually bad (Well, I guess it's too early to tell at the moment, but neh) but the curriculum just makes you do a double-take and go "WTF". Yeah.

Not even before the day ends, and I nearly die from two textbooks both over 1000 pages long EACH. (The only perk to my English textbook FXCKING 1500+ PAGES DAMMIT is that the cover looks nice...)

Soooo... That being said, due to my imminent doom and expected boredom/irritation, I may at least do some writing for that contest, and maybe even for Nightmare Circular. I actually expanded on some of the plot points for both! =D

I really should work on Shine during the weekend after I get my school crap... Neh

To put things briefly: BUSY AS FXCK

I've finished the sketch for the J&GBA comic (see To-Do List) and I've been a bit lazy to even get out of my room to go scan it. Shine is halfway done and I'm filling out the roster for BoR (also see T-D List). As for the CR Forum game art, I've actually 'x'd out any distractions online and got to work on a sketch XD

Which leaves me to say that a new project came up recently. One with a deadline. And knowing me, it looks like I need to stave away the temptation of stupid videos once again.

A friend of mine filled me in on a contest going around. She asked if I can contribute one of my original stories for her to draw out. Not having that many coughONEcough I decided to pull an old idea out of my head.

Basically, it's somewhat historical fiction/fantasy. Joan of Arc based, kinda thing. (KeyTo-neechan, please refrain from 'eww'ing at the French thing XD) So yes. I shall do two chapters as a teaser, and Friend will draw it out and submit. Hopefully, we'll win. ^^;

It's my first contest like this, so I'm pretty excited... And nervous. I hope I don't disappoint DX

Once that's done, I'll try to go back to forcing myself to stop being lazy and actually draw crap XD

C'mon. It's the East. They're bound to have neat stuff. And I'm not being biased because I'm Asian. (And NO, I'm not taking ANY of that Filipina = "Pacific Islander" crap)

And neat stuff indeeeed. Besides the fireworks, the presentation was just fluxing awesome. The scroll, LED stuffs, the tai chi masters AND THE PARADE OF LITTLE KIDS! (As my friend says, "A cheap attempt at cuteness...BUT IT WORKED!") As I was 'ooh'ing and 'ahh'ing, it suddenly went to the parade of nations...

I think I turned off the TV five minutes after it started. So ends my little paragraph on that ^^;

As for stuff that actually concerns art, I've been having little inspirations come and hit me in the face like a brick tied to a javelin (poor FE references there) but the main problem is lack of motivation. Hell, I'm having a better time trying to fill out my character roster for a story and doing "Unlimited Supports" for FE8 at the zombie/animated skeleton infested pit of doom-and-gloom Most commonly known as the Tower of Valni

So yes. If KeyTo-neechan or Derick-L's reading, I've a favor to ask: Fxcking internet slap me in the face and keep pestering me to draw a bit for five minutes minimum everyday. That might get me to work >_>

And with a To-Do list as long as the one below, I'm gonna need a kick-start. I mean, holy fxck, just look at that!

I'm also in a bit of a Fire Emblem craze (An SSB craze to be more general since I've been into Fire Emblem since my early years.) so I'll hopefully get some practice on those.

Neh... I know I've been kinda dead here. But I've been working on getting my grades up and getting all my WIPs finished. I've been getting high and motivated on a lot of things, like DMC4 & this awesome new anime I found called Mononoke: [link]

The animation is amazing! But the really faint-of-heart should take caution. It's a bit freaky, but it's not that bad. I'm faint-of-heart myself, but I actually found this quite entertaining! So no worries; it's not like The Exorsist kind of scary. If anyone wants to kill some time, look this anime up! =D

I expect to be done with one of my WIP parody fics soon (Let's label it "Project KiW" for now). I may draw a promo poster after I post it on Fanfiction, but if anyone else wants to do it, PM me and I can tell you what the story's about. And if you're still interested by then, well go right ahead! Just warn me so I can give you the link to the fic.

Oh-em-gee... I actually drew original characters. :amazed: Looks like school actually IS useful...for stimulating boredom. LOL

I've been noticing a trend of me drawing pretty weird stuff in school that some people might consider kinda 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'-ish. So I actually made characters -- A porcelain doll, a vampire and a mad scientist/doctor person with a huge blade-axe thing. It might be shounen-ai depending on what I might do with the main character and the first supporting character :XD: I've been watching too much Loveless recently.

Speaking of Loveless, does anyone know where I can read the manga on the net for free? There was this site that everyone put down on the list, but it doesn't host the scans anymore. If anyone knows, please tell me =)

Well lookie there, I actually drew Anji for the first time! Go me! :sarcasm: Okay, really, I've been feeling the low of my self esteem lately. I'm not at the top of my game, not to mention I have to worry about my physical health (*just found out she's anemic*). And if I don't get that hemoglobin count up by next month, it's a crap load of needles for me.

Also, I've been workin on a novel for school reasons. But I've been putting that off for two days now since I have writer's block. I'm still working on those pictures and the ocassional fic (Ky in Wonderland particularly since that's WAY overdue from my original schedule) but right now, I feel dead. :nirvana:

Now, scroll down for a boring rant. It's about my opinion of all the stuff going on with GG2.

I know I'm gonna get shot for this...or at least insulted >_>

Everyone was mildly disappointed at the initial word of GG2. With the game evolving from its traditional 2D sprites to new 3D graphics on the 360, a lot of the traditionalist fans of the franchise had some doubts with how the game will turn out. However, recent news has caused everyone to go into a fit of rage and/or a confused state.

I'm trying to remain a clear head on all this, but I'm still kinda mad pretty pissed off that Daisuke would just erase the X-verse. Hell, we still don't know the stuff about half the cast!

I'm sure the fangirls would've gotten him by now. If not, he'll still be in deep trouble with us.

Despite all the major disappointments and outrages, I'm still mildly curious about the new game. So, I browsed around and asked a friend (who has a HUGE intel. network when it comes to GG) and a particular Youtube video caught my eye--one with the Overture cast and a shxtload of banana peels. ([link] if you're interested)

It helped a little bit.

It's just me, but I always try to keep my eye open to the new experiences. At first, yes, I ranted and 'WTF!?'-ed. This is the Guilty Gear equivalent of Dirge of Cerberus of Final Fantasy VII. But I can't really say that until the whole game's uncovered for me.

I still support the X-verse and refuse to let it die, but it's also not so bad to just keep tabs on what's happening with Overture. If some people actually enjoy it, hey, they're entitled to their opinion.

Final word: Mm... Still pretty upset about X-verse ^^; and that Ky pairing too, but that's my inner fangirl talking

I'm starting to get help with that Guilty Gear video clip issue, so I think I'm covered. Nevertheless, things don't tend to go my way on these kinds of things, so I'm still on the lookout for a fallback plan.

Still working on the graphic novel project, despite my two latest piccies being totally random and school-induced.

Excited about Death Note being released in America, but I'm hopin they don't screw it up with voices and personas...

But I'm definitely into a Guilty Gear high at the moment, so I guess that compensates for my lack of inspiration.

As some of you may know, I've started on my Themes Challenge. Yay. I only have a few of them, though.

I've been doing a lot of drawing projects for English and I think it's helping a bit with my style. The recent one is to make a 'graphic novel' (I just refer to it as a "mini-manga") about a myth from any culture. Because I'm still somewhat in my Okami phase, I'm doing the story of Issun-boshi! The sketch of the cover is right next to me and he looks kinda different from his Okami-nized form. And trust me, his persona will have a bit of a difference too. But you'll see that later.

Okay, I'll be working on a little of my stuffs at a time. Expect two comics involving my 'self-image' and KeyTo-Neechan's self-character. First one involves Okami (teh uber awesome game with the cool wolf, the pervy bug, the emo guy from up North and the moon dude who is SO not that fruity!) and the second one involves my closet...and Staples. :XD:

I got back into Tactics! I watched the whole series again in one day. New record! I'm still anticipating the new Tsubasa chapter but I think I've already seen some spoilers.

By the way, does any one know where I can download some decent Okami videos? Like the cutscenes and battles and all that nonsense... I wanna make another AMV. And I have the perfect songs :excited:

KeyTo-Neechan has finally found our notebook with Catharsis Hearts! I've forgotten about that ^^; It keeps getting lost under her bed. But we're almost done! And after it is, I'll be working on some edits in the beginning (we started it when I was 11 and reading it over, it was...kinda REALLY crappy) before posting it. After the whole series is on my Fanfic account, I may provide a link on DA! =D But it all depends on how much critisism/comments we get on FF. Not to mention if Neechan is up to it. Eh.

I wanna finish my two Wonderland parodies really badlyyy.... But nothing's coming to me!!! I'm almost done with the one for L, but the one with Ky's harder to do... I have a vague concept and I already have the ending done, but filling everything in is SO FREAKING HARD! Gah...

Even though my 50/50 Themes ideas hasn't been completed quite yet, I've started on sketching a few of them out on my spare time. So I'm expecting about one or two of them coming out soon.

But don't expect it to happen quite frequently. High school (mainly the homework it dishes out) is occupying my time. My fics have even been put on hold because of that. All I could really do now is listen to music and maybe sneak into DA for a little while to check my messages and look at my alerts.

Grah... I don't know how alumni did it...

But Thursday & Friday were my break days. And :iconkeytooblivion13: slept over! We played Okami & KH 1. I had my first public fangirl moment ^^; Heehee :giggle:

Ahem...

Anyway, I read Tsubasa and Naruto. Oh god, I was immediately bombarded with angstyness from the former. Fai was about to be left behind when Kurogane suddenly cuts his arm off... I was like 'Wtf man!?' Yeah...

Aaaaand, I still have to do homework... Dammit, why did I have to be in so many AP classes?... Damn you, school board (and teachers) for giving out too much homework!! :shakefist:

:bulletblue: I had an a interest when I was around... Fifth grade, I think

:bulletblue: I taught myself since I never recieved any formal classes. Still learning

:bulletblue: I get inspiration on most of my works from music...or while playing Guilty Gear :XD:

:bulletblue: I got into drawing when two of my friends did an educational comic for our school newspaper. It was really funny, so I decided to try with their style for a bit. As I got interested, I expanded into human bodies

:bulletblue: I learned how to draw bodies by looking at the references found in whatever Shonen Jump issue was available at the time (Shonen Jump was like crack for me when I was eight)

:bulletblue: Weak point? Eh, I have a lot. Animals, clothing folds, eyes, hair, HANDS and shoes.

:bulletblue: I have low self-esteem, so I don't have much confidence in my work. But I do take critisism well

:bulletblue: I experiment with my art style. However, it always reverts back into my old original one for some reason ^^;

:bulletblue: The longest drawing I've ever done was when I was ten. It was the background of a stage in my old Shaman King game. It was pretty decent, but I lost some sight staring at the screen (and at times, I got frustrated at Yoh since I had to move him around to get some parts of the background he was blocking. He ended up going out of the stage so I had to go back)

:bulletblue: :iconkeytooblivion13: keeps me motivated. She's always trying to surpass me (but I feel she already has) so I try to keep at the top of my game so I can keep up.

And that's it! It took me aproximately 17 minutes to complete this... And it was freaking hard to think of stuff. I'm not tagging anyone...At least not yet.

"100% Guilty Gear, 100% Pure GG News"

Well, my friends, looks like word of Guilty Gear 2: Overture has been released to the media!

If you haven't heard already, this game's the "true" sequel to Guilty Gear and takes the series to a whole new direction with 3D graphics and fighting sequences with real-time strategy elements.

Way different, yes. Is it for the better? Depends on the person's opinion. The Guilty Gear series was well established as one of the prime 2D fighting game franchises. A few might comment that making such a radical change to the series' original formula makes no sense whatsoever at this point. Though, if we can get over the fact that this is a Guilty Gear game, it looks good for a strategy title. Hopefully the gameplay (and music) will prove to be just as good.

There's also a new character! His name's Sin and he carries a huge-ass flag for a weapon.

I found a magazine page with some screenshots and a few looks on Sin ([link]) but the shots are a bit blurry. So I found another site with clearer and more bad-ass looking shots ([link])

I first heard of Sin while browsing through :iconsora-mito:'s gallery and saw that she did a drawing of Sol asking Sin who the hell he was and where the hell Ky was. I looked down at the summary and saw that Ky may not be there (and was thoroughly pissed). But don't worry; our blonde Frenchie's in the game. [those screenshots in the second link-- the guy in the fourth row (first pic)...THAT'S Ky. (Reaction: OMG HE GREW HIS HAIR!!! :faint:)]

Apparently, Sol's also wanted for 100 million world dollars. Nice job, Badguy; what'd you do now? :XD: And as for the enemies (Gears?) look even wierder than the ones in Guilty Gear: Judgment. And that's kinda saying something. I mean, one of the kinds looks like a freaking GUNDAM! :rofl:

The only bad thing for me is that it's on Xbox 360 (I only have the first one, so yeah...) but I bet this case'll be like Kingdom Hearts! (in which I don't own the game or system but I know a lot about it due to research and videos on fansites =)) But either way, I'm getting psyched for the release!

After an encounter with I-no, Ky wakes up and finds himself to be six years old again (his memories are still there, by the way). Sol soon finds him at the scene of the encounter and our blonde officer soon runs off.

Looking for the child, Sol finds him being restrained at the hands of one of Ky's coworkers, who doesn't seem to recognize him, because of the Fuuraiken (which is easily seen). Our Guilty Gear bails him out, saying to the officer that he's his guardian and that he ran off on their way home. Free to go, the two of them walk back to Ky's house, where Sol states that he has to take care of him until he returns to his normal age (much to Ky's shock).

Now, because the idea of Ky as a kid and Sol taking care of him is just so damn cute to resist, I'm putting myself a challenge. However, I need ideas ^^; Here's what I have so far

What's the idea? Well, it all starts with a Guilty Gear fic I'm working on called Turning Back The Hourglass... [It was supposed to be called 'Noontide' but someone beat me to it :XD:]

I like the idea for that fic so much that I'm doing a 50/50 Themes Challenge! :XD: I was gonna do 100 Themes, but I felt that it was too overwhelming during the summer, so I just split the 100 Themes. =)

I usually don't do this until I feel the need to actually say it... So, why am I posting this?

Because being the stupid person I am, my brain shut itself down again and I'm out of ideas for 14 more themes >_>

Also, I want to wait a bit until I've honed my drawing skills. I admit it, my style needs a lot of work [clothing folds especially]. So, for now, I'll put this aside.

I'm almost done with the Guilty Gear Revolution fic [and picture] and Walking In The Dusk. But I've hit a sort of roadblock with the latter.

On another note, I just heard the GG Drama CD Side Red & Black, read Ch. 360 of Naruto and Ch. 158 of Tsubasa Chronicles. Here are my thoughts:

Guilty Gear: Wow.... Just...wow.... Oh, and I knew they said Sol's scream was kinda funny, but damn, it was hilarious! :XD: Now why can't they make a game like that? lol

Naruto: Look's like this fight is drawing to a close! I want Deidara to win, but then again, I know he's gonna die someday

Tsubasa: Oh...my...god... This was just too shocking and captivating for words. Seriously. I WANNA READ THE NEXT ONE!!

Alright, I guess that's it. As you may have heard from KeyTo-chan...I'm moving [*cries*]. But, during the time I was packing, I found some of my old artwork that I had completed from when I was 10. It was still in pretty good condition. So once I'm transfered and all my stuff's there, I'll be uploading them =)

Because Catharsis Hearts is based of Kingdom Hearts [well, it's more like...post KH] and I like doing little interludes. :XD:

Speaking of Catharsis Hearts, :iconkeytooblivion13: and I have finally decided to post the series once we finish! We have to hustle quickly since I'm relocating during the summer. Currently, we're in the 80s chapter-wise and we're almost near the final battle!

-SUMMARY-


In the capital city of Willowshine, the five0year-old prince Trey Laforeze finds a girl his age lying in a lonesome boat, injured. He takes her to the castle to be treated. Years later, Trey and the girl, Julian Cyther, have become good friends with one another and are living in peace while Trey begins his lessons to become king.

Meanwhile, in the imperial city of Amityvale [located in the neighboring kingdom], the young prince Len Delarose searches for his sister, Syrene. He's looked everywere before, but could not find her anywhere in his kingdom, his best friend Trey's kingdom or anywhere else in the continent.

The two never realized, however, that their different quests may intertwine as numerous people in the countryside are being killed by a nameless murderer...

Also! I also decided to make an accompanying fic for Keep The Flag Flying. It's going to be shounen-ai, so homophobes stay away from that. I'll slip the pairing for that one too [aren't I nice today?]

If you haven't known already, the latest Drama CD ("Knight of Knives") for Guilty Gear a little something about a certain assassin in a certain syndicate...

Orientation: Homosexual [Le Gasp!]

Yep, you got it right. But hey, we all expected it, right? I mean, it was all there, including the quote when Faust does his "Scalpel Enema" thing.

"Only HE can do that!"

The first video game character I know who's officially revealed as homo. But it was only a matter of time, anywho. But we all still know you as out pool-stick fighting assassin! No one'll care unless they're homophobic. But keep rocking on, Venom!


On another note, Anji might not even be, well, Anji! In Guilty Gear: Judgment, Raymond refers to him as "Anji Mito, A.K.A Kakukyaku". Whether this is just an alias, or merely a "title" of sorts, we don't know. However, Raymond does imply that Anji Mito might not be his real name. However, all this is strictly speculation.

Also! It has just been brought to my attention that Chipp's deceased Master Tsuyoshi may have been Gearified! In Guilty Gear: Dust Strikers during Chipp's story mode, he faces a monster or whatever with three pairs of arms [I think]. While the other two pairs of arms are waving around, one pair forms a handsign, similar to the 'Horse' sign used in Naruto. He was also smiling when Chipp had defeated him. Like the prior case, this is all just speculation for the moment.

Upcoming drama CDs, future games or novels may reveal the truths behind the rumors. For now, we'll all keep you posted on these topics.

Welcome, everyone, to my run-of-the-mill D.A. profile. As you can see, I either do screenshotting, photography, fics/stories, and comics. That's as of the moment. I plan on expanding my range.
