I have no ill-feelings nor do i know any of those people who participate of organize that secretsanta, so this is not personal.

i dun really care if you think of me as being jealous or mean ^^

Personally, i think that santas don't distinguish between poor or rich people, the same way i don't think that secret santa projects can only be spread among certain people, whether to conserve the quality of work or fairness of art that each person receives.

Yes, i realize this is private and their own business. And i have my own opinions, so back off on the criticisms.

I feel kind of sad as there are many budding artists who would love to get a art piece from a talented one, me included, because, who doesn't love good art pieces? And from a famous one at that! I'd actually be happier giving an art to someone who can really be happy receiving such an artwork in contrast to giving to some one my own level or higher. And i don't even need to be in a secret santa group to do that. i will just do it because i love how people cherish their art and their characters. and just because i love drawing.

So much things happened I am hardly able to say everything except this summary:

I went to America for an extra internship for two months to work on art for games

I came back to be buried by undone homework

Finish them within two weeks with E-haro's lots of wonderful help (1 of my As are thanks to him!)

Went to Japan for a study cum shopping trip for 1 week
(Tokyo rocks my world. Period.)

Came back and slacked. Slacked.

And finally completed a piece of drawing

End of Story of Absence.

Like i said, there was a perfectly reasonable explanation for my absence~

I just got my results, at first i was happy I didn't get too low, but after looking at what my classmates got...! I started emo-ing -.-''' everyone has such high grades mine is not comparable T_T next year have to catch up..but next year has no drawing! thank gdness Final Year Project has 2D, or I'll be bored to death by the other subjects ._.

Fanart and OCs

- I prefer OCs cuz they're easier to draw [for me] but that doesnt make me turn against fanart.

- On the other hand, i find people who can draw the fanart close to the original style of the original work respectable. I would also like to draw fanart from time to time

- However!! Its always important to retain your own style, because this way you can still experience the fun of being able to create art.

- I agree with the view that creating fanart just to gain popularity is not the right way to go about.

- Noone has the right to pin up names and single out people, no matter what you feel, others have what they feel too.

- Be more open minded, people.

- Fanart is as equal as OC, they still use up our sweat n braincells to create, the only difference are the clothes n the looks. Fan artists rarely borrow the original anatomy and character [what with all the yaoi lol]

My school had a workshop on 2D animation, theres this program TAB
(Toonz Animation Board) that lets you animate 2D drawings, i wonder whether its like Flash, i've never tried Flash before so i have no idea. I heard theres no pirated TAB stuff o.0 duno if thats true, but in my school com it just keeps on shutting down out of error. i still need lots of time to get used to this.

I just started playing kingdom hearts 1, i think i may be starting to get addicted to it. hell, the ps n cd n tv i played on isnt even my own or in my hse. i played at a friend's hse and i got rather hooked ._. hail the power of games.
