It is not because of anything you are truly able to change. This I know for I have witnessed it many times. Instead it is for something that occurs naturally in humans. Something that no matter how hard you fight it will undoubtably come to pass. It is to forget.

There is a phase that proves my point quite nicely, it is "Out of sight, out of mind". Due to the fact that I am now quite out of sight I will soon, if not already, become out of mind. And you can't say it isn't true. When at first I left I was in constant correspondance with almost everyone, but over time those numbers have dwindled, and it has only been a couple of weeks. Soon People will say Kara who? You cant say it wont happen for I know it to be true. It has already begun, and not only with the people that I just knew, but also with those who are close to me.

I guess I shouldn't blame you though. If I was still surrounded by people I knew instead of complete strangers I guess I too may forget. I would carry on with my life not noticing the absence of one being until someone brought them up and I would say oh yes I remember them.

This isn't new to me, not in the least. It is just that this time it hurts a lot worse. This time I lost my one and only best friend, along with a boyfriend, close friends, and everything I love all at once. My heart aches simply at the thought that in a few years, or even months most wont remember me at all. We may pass on a street one day and most likely you wouldn't even notice.
