I learned that four students (Jon, Daniel, Rianna, and Ryan) were in a car wreck. At first I just slightly sad. I figured I did not know these people, and this made the morning rather uncomfortable since everyone was crying. I left the band for my first period class. People were talking about it, and I of course had yet to put two and two together. It wasn't until second period that I realized the Jon they were talking about was my friend Jon. He had been in the backseat, along with Rianna, with Daniel driving and Ryan in the passenger seat. It turns out the wheel had gone off of the road, so Daniel jerked the wheel to get back on the road. He overcorrected it and went flying off the road, doing many rolls and flips before crashing into the trees. Jon and Rianna had not been wearing their seat belts....

They're dead.

Jon... he was one of the first band students (outside of the band room) to actually talk to me. He said, "Hey. You're the new girl, aren't you?" I had said yes and he grinned. We introduced ourselves to one another, and it was then I learned there were three Sam's in the band. I told him where I was from, and he grinned again. "I'm gonna call you Vegas girl from now on." I felt special then. It was like a little secret nickname thing that only we shared.. which was true. I generally referred to him as "you, drummer boy, or drummer dude thingy." Yesterday, he changed the number on his literature book and said that he was going to tell the teacher that he had changed it at the end of the year. He can't now. He's dead. He sailed out of that car and collided with the ground. I don't want to even think how he looked.

Rianna... I never knew her, but she had been a band student last year. Everyone said she was sweet, loving, and a kind person. I wish I knew her...

Daniel and Ryan had their seatbelts on. Thank God they're alive. Daniel has a broken collar bone and staples in the back of his neck while Ryan has a smashed nose and scrapes. Other than that they're fine. I was relieved with this news, but... Jon's gone.

Moving on! We went to the gate place where Chris was supposed to come out. Danielle and I sat against the poll, looked at people's butts, and generally scouted out the hot guys and talked about them like rambling idiots. Eventually we stood and moved to the side so that we could spot out Chris, because from our former sitting area, we couldn't see him. Eventually he came, we stole him, and he fell asleep in my lap. Yay!

Now onto the 'orrible news...

Monday at six o' clock in the bloody fricking morning, I have to get on a plane and go to Georgia. Why? One, Dad and Grandma will stop bugging Mom and I until next summer. Two, my sister is there and I need to annoy the living hell out of her because that is my job. Three, I get to see Wyndal and the gang! ^___^ Yayness! I missed my Bark Brigade too...

Lemme tell you about the Bark Brigade. At my old house, I lived too far away from the school, so I had to ride THE BUS. -hiss- e.e;; Anyways.. everytime I passed this one house, some dogs would bark. Now get this. The dogs lived on a block of cement as big as a driveway with a chainlink fence around the block so they couldn't get out. The owners only let the dogs on the grass around roughly every odd week or so. ANYWAYS.. This became the Bark Brigade. The first one to bark would be the sheltie. He would yip, growl, and bark at the same time while spinning around in circles. The second one to bark was this mix dog who would bark at your shadow. The last one barked in a completely different direction. Pretty funny.

Well.. to prepare for this trip, Mom and I went shopping. -gasp- Yes, ph34r! I have four new tops and four pairs of jeans. But get this.. The jeans are all the same color! Ha! Now I get to confuse people into making them think I am wearing one pair of jeans for FOUR DAYS! Muahahahaha! >>; Don't ask.. Anyways, I got two pairs of shoes as well. One pair are black reboks, and the other are these wike biking shoes. I <3 them. Very comfy.

We had thirty minutes to kill, so we decided to go to Best Buy. I am a secret "CATS" fan. (Not so secret anymore eh?) So I bought that, and I also bought the new System of a Down CD. Let me tell you, 'tis an awesome CD, go buy it! NOW FREAKS! -jabs- Oh! Mom bought The Phantom of the Opera soundtrack and the movie "Hitch." Well all went well and so we were soon out of there beebopin' to the soundtrack. Mom and I screeched along to the lyrics. xP

So then we go to the movie. And let me tell you, whatever the critics say, I believe it is an extremely good movie. Not the best, since the best were the ones with Michael Keaton(sp?). But it satisfied my hunger for Batman. I want Batman's cloak! Flying would be awesome, and then people would ph34r meh! MUAHAHAHAHA!

Anyways... lets move onto the rant, shall we? What's the rant going to be about? Why, DC Comics o' course! The only good comic they made, besides Catwoman (or was that Marvel?), /was/ Batman! I mean, look at Super Man! He's a total godmoding freak! He's as fast as a train, as strong as Achilles (maybe even stronger), and he can bloody fly/shoot optic beams out of his eyes! And what's his weakness? Kryptonite. Well, that makes him bloody INVINCIBLE! Where are you going to find that crap? Certainly not in your backyard! At least Batman has weaknesses; if you can get past all of his cool, nifty gadgets anyways... xP So, yay for Batman for being a realistic person, and screw Super Man for being a godmoding freak!

It's Sunday. Mom wakes up at 3AM and starts getting around. My sister and I? We were rocks: dead asleep. So we get up at 4AM because of the wake-up call. MJ goes to take her shower, I get dressed, and we're all set. We grab MJ's ninety-pound suitcases and head off to the airport! Everything's fine and dandy. MJ makes it through the baggage line with no problems. MJ would board 7:50 AM and get home around 5:30ish PM her time, so it would be 2:30ish in Oregon time. Well, Mom and I went home.

So, when we got home, we cleaned the apartment. My room has a floor again! Hallelujah! Anyways, I went online after that. My friend, Lani, logged on. As usual it started out as, "Hey! What's up?" Ya know, the usual chit-chat. Then we go into this long, hour and a half discussion. I was nearly in tears by the end of the conversatin, when my luverly mate logs on. He helped me get through my mood.

2:30 PM passes. It was 3PM before my mom started calling. Around 4PM she told me to get off the computer. She called Delta airlines, and they being the Southern idiots they were, barely helped her at all. She called the shuttles, the Atlanta Airport Police, and they were hardly any help either. So Mom is becoming frantic. I, already nerve-racked from the conversation with Lani earlier, decided to watch Finding Nemo to calm myself. So MJ's lost to us, Mom's freaking out, I'm worried as hell and also freaking out, she's crying, and I'm somehow managing to keep control when I go and take my shower. Calms me down. As soon as I get out, guess who called? MJ! Man I was bloody relieved. Turned out her flight was delayed because of the weather, and then the plane flew all over the place. They ran out of fuel, so they had to stop in Alabama and refuel. When she got back, she was hungry. She called up a friend, after trying to call us on a cellphone(line was busy because of Mom's frantic phonecalls), and they went to eat. She went shopping for school, and then she went to her dorm, where she was informed that she was to call her mom. She called, and both Mom and I were relieved.
