I have some ideas for fun art things that not everyone is doing. Currently I am making and testing two different items, custom designed gloves, and custom designed messenger bags. i FINALLY got an affordable way to do custom messenger bags.

Anyway... the gloves are very basic, I will see about getting more colors but for now I've gotten black and have applied a paw print design to the palm and fingers, it actually gives really good grip. fabric paint is what is being used. I'll take a picture of them tomorrow. So far they are holding up very well and feel awesome.

for the messenger bags, i just painted the design tonight and am waiting for it to dry to re-outline. These are canvas messenger bags that would have your characters head on the front, possibly with a small strap design or a larger chibi version of your character on the front. They would be pretty basic illustrations because...fabric paint.. its not terribly detailed.

I also am experimenting with making small canvas patches you can either pin, glue or sew to any existing thing you've got. Also fabric paints.

If anyone is interested in any of these things let me know. Pictures will be posted tomorrow, along with possible prices.

Since my father pays my rent, I had to talk to him before going on with the situation. He gave me the go-ahead to do what I feel i necessary.

The room mate, "supposedly' started job hunting yesterday. He supposedly has an interview today and next week. He spent 2 hours or less job hunting. This is not how you do this, I KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE DONE IT. Im sure countless of my watchers have too. He expects everyone to CALL HIM back, not the other way around. You need to keep ontop of your shit when you're job hunting. People like a go-getter, and you, sitting on your ass all day, is not a go getter.

I still have not gotten his rent check. "supposedly" his mother sent it 2 days ago. I have no idea from where, but if I dont have that rent check by tomorrow then there is a problem and he is leaving. I do NOT fuck with the rent, especially when the MINIMUM LATE FEE IS 75.00! These people dont fuck around!

I'm not entirely sure what to tell him. I'm a very non-confrontational person. What do you guys suggest? How should I handle this when i confront him? My boyfriend (~dusty341) will be there, I know the room mate is at least slightly frightened of him.

if you had a room mate.. who had a job when they first moved in and then lost it the day after, but had a co-signer, (whose reliability is unknown at this point), what would you do?

if that same room mate, spent 4 weeks "looking" for a job, spending all sorts of money on computer games and hot pockets, what would you think?

that same room mates computer breaks, and he starts behaving less like a recluse and more like a human being, he starts going outside and running errands, thats good right?

then..he gets his computer back... and everything goes to hell. the job search stops, a lease is still not signed, rent and utilities are given only after asking multiple times close to the deadlines.

THEN the room mate who spends 60 hours in 3 days on the computer, rarely coming out, not walking his DOG and THEN HAS THE BALLS TO FILE FOR UNEMPLOYMENT WHEN HIS MOTHER IS PAYING HIS BILLS, RENT AND UTILITIES.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

I'm debating telling him he needs to find somewhere else to live. When i started looking for a room mate for my apartment I was looking for a clear minded ,responsible ADULT. not someone who needs to be told when to get off the fucking computer. With his actions, i have no idea if he is going to continue in college even though he is supposedly registered. He is a nice enough guy but he understands nothing of social cues or actions. He rarely leaves his room in 24 hours except maybe to shower sometimes. His dog defecates and urinates in the apartment, constantly. despite me saying something about it multiple times. His diet consists of hot pockets, fridays microwave dinners and mountain dew.

i dont know what to do.
