It was just past four and I was going down. I wasn't supposed to, but it was just supposed to be a nap. A simple little nap.
That really didn't work. So, I'm all ready for the day, too bad I don't live in France.
This is all rooted in my attempt to get back into a schedule what with school starting up again tomorrow (today?) since Study Break (a week) is ending. I have been attempting to pull all-nighters for the past three mornings but to no avail. I tend to get to somewhere between ten and eleven at best. But not this (Sunday) morning! I had been voluntold(?) to come to choir for church this morning and so I made every effort to be there. Including that when I couldn't get to sleep last night, just staying up the few extra hours. (Most nights, what with my staying up, I would slowly chalk-up some sleep deprivation -but Friday night threw that off by me actually getting eight hours. Too bad I slept until 6pm)
When I arrived at the church and saw I projector I went "oh. oh yeah. He told us today was the Annual Meeting..." which they have now put into the service (ever since last year) to try to improve attendance. (They put one hymn and the Benediction on the other side, so some people leave anyway. -Including most of the choir XD but to be fair, most of them are University students who are there just for the choir -Taking music and university. I am there for the choir as well, but it is also one of my churches) So, when they set up the tables for the meeting I snuck out and put my gown and music away, put my blaizer back on and picked up the rest of my stuff.
In anycase, the main point was that we got home at (or around...) one. Mom was like "what?"
Anywho...
So, I wound up waking up in my dream just after my friend started playing her clarinet (which I'm pretty sure she doesn't have one) so that it sounded like a train. A very loud train. The weird part is that I didn't wake up immediately after that, but that we continued to walk down those rusty stairs for a little bit (or were about to) and suddenly I've woken up to the epilougal "And we continued playing our instruments to the bottom of those stairs, so that by the time we got there, we'd gone from sounding like a buck fifty, to two bucks."
Seriously. What the heck?

So... yeah. Now I'm just sitting here in my room, with it being very windy outside. There keeps being a "thunk, thunk....thunk..." just outside my window, the high-pitched wistle blows from time to time and then the rustle and whoosh of the wind surrounds.

Interesting stuff? I don't even remember which journal this link directs to anymore.

I'm tempted to right down more of my dream. It was vaguely interesting. Unlike my dream midweek *shivers* I think I managed to forget that one now. All I remember now was that I was almost strangely compelled to write that one down.


Ah man... now I'm hungry.. I think I've eaten nothing so far today. Aside from some Sociable crackers and tea after the church service. Because I didn't bother with breakfast, the service went until lunch and then I worked in the house until crashing at four. I was hungry in the church service, but I guess that the tea helped me to forget about it.
Maybe that's what I need now... a good cup of tea.

After that dream, I am also compelled to practise my flute. ["Oh, you're going to play for us too?" "Nah, I just brought it to give Melissa support" -Ah dreams... the only story which can sufficiently do rewrites. -I had no idea that she was going to bring an instrument , but then it was "all part of the plan". Which it wasn't! D: ]

Piss off.

Here's a little story about why my weekend was extroadinary *smirk* English Class referrence.
Anywho, it was a cool(I dunno, was it?) Sunday afternoon, my mother had decided what with the Hurricane on Saturday, and my father being away on a business trip, that we would go to my grandmother's for the storm, 1)in case the power
went out for us, 2)in case the power went out for her. So, we arrive there some time between midnight and one,
that's your background information.
The next morning I'm all psyched for church, mom's about to get ready, when my dad calls and despite my mom telling him we were on our way to church, he kept her on the phone until it was too late to go *eye-roll* Yes mom, I was totally planning on wearing this outfit to clean the house in. (Which reminds me... last night my brother called me snarky, which reminds me of some other things I wanted to type*)
Which brings us to the point that my mom wanted to leave my grandmother's (an hours drive or so from where we live, going approx. 100-110 Km per hour, approx 60mi/hour I think...) at four. So, we're all set to go, except for one thing. Cats. Yes, Tippy disappeared and we spent two hours plus looking for her. We finally give up, it being too late(see dark) to check out a place we wanted to see on the way back to the city (we do stop there anyway though).
So, we get back into town, let Sue out of her cage and say hi to dad, since he's home.
I decide to go into the backyard at a point, because my dad has ticked me off, and I need to blow-off some steam. But, before I get there, I hear a crack and make a decision to back away slowly before I walk into the security lights range, seeing something I don't want to see/being seen by someone I don't want to see me (we had a rape on our street a few years back, I've been paranoid since. Weird, at home I fear real dangers when out at night, at my grandmother's I fear vampires. And racoons that hide in the branches of trees, just waiting to attack you.)
**So, I quickly go back around to the front yard to go inside and tell my parents of my concern. I open the screen door, about to open the front door, when this little black thing darts out from behind a planter and I'm thinking "You're not Roscoe (our neighbours cat), you're way too small." So I look down at her little face, she meows, I scoop her up. Then I ask her, "Tippy, what are you doing here?"
I take her in and basically make the general statement of "What. The Hell?"

Although I do remember what that thing was, and have added it into the following list, there's one other thing, but... *shrug*
Oh-hoh, life. So that's the way you're gonna be... I went out and bought more red wire to make a beading thing, only for my beads to not fit on for unknown reasons. Oh, I found out the reason, when I found my other wire and it turned out that the wire I bought (though in the same packaging, by the same people) was actually thicker than the other stuff *eye-roll*
I failed the internetz when it came to Lily-pily's contest apparently... x_x
Other stuff still, I'm sure. I should come on more...
I've discovered that my school does indeed have a scanner
The above was an issue because of the fact, I got into the frickin' NEW SCHOOL~!!! *eh-hem, cough* yes.

*A couple of weekends ago, my grandmother called me a forklift. This was in reference to my awesome ability of picking up the pine-needles in the backyard with my arms. Despite this, I still go "crying" to my mother, "Mom! Nanny called me a forklift! :<" We were all working outside, and besides, it was funny.

Great guys, guess what! Having spent last night being sick, I no longer had the very little contents of Corn Pops still in my stomache! On the plus side, the convulsions made it so I didn't need to do any cruches last night!
I'm too warm right now.

So guys, I know my body. I know what it's going to try to do.
I don't know why it does it.

I was just sitting there on my porch yesterday after school, being locked out (oh yes, I saw my brother drive away to University) and was deciding on a course of action. I chose to do the option of homework, in the order of Biology, get ahead in English, and then go to the park to create a movie for Film and Video Production, since I had my camera on me at the time. I'm nearing the middle of my Bio shet when all of a sudden... *snap!* the vision in my left eye goes all blurry. So, I do the only thing I can do, which is to take off my glasses and finish, but getting ahead of the game is no longer an option. So, I'm sitting out in the cold, with nothing but a sarong over my leotard, and a t-shirt on, disassociating. The feeling in my arms go. By the time my brother gets home, and I decide to take a shower, I'm having troubles. I'm there in the shower, when I suddenly hear a click, which nearly gives me a heartattack. Turns out I had dropped what was in my hand with out even realizing it. It's then I realize I can't feel my right arm, and go "Oh Crap". I finally shuffle off to bed, feeling clean, but having a migraine. I go to sleep, with some effort. I wake up an hour later, going "Please no" but wind-up getting my hair towel full of yuck anyways. I must say, I've never had sugary vomit before.
So, I go and run myself a bath, slip in finally, still feel horrible, am about to go back to bed, when suddenly "Oghawd!" in the toilet, and it's horrible because I haven't been sick since grade ten musical, and I didn't have ABS then! The end of my blight finally comes, I brush my teeth and go to sleep.
I have a migraine.

OH YEAH! And good news too! I thought that Lily-pily's contest ended on the tenth, but it actually started on a tenth! I'm still golden! (for now...)
oh yeah, and the keyboad's being uncooperative. Except for the start of this line. and that end.
and another thing! Today during my free, I finished a much anticipated peice of art!
So it occured to me the other day, why that guy might be mad at me. I remembered that I owed him a boon.
BOOOON!!!

So, last week I went to the first one of these meetings where the book was read to us and then they had us do a few drama games and had us cross the gym as certain characters, so they could see our movement, interpretation and such.

Well, guess who got Gabriel?

That's right! It was me!

But crap it all to Hell. I forgot about today's session, so part deux at twenty minutes past my father reminds me and it's all a flurry to get back out to the church. Where I am then proceeded to be locked out for several minutes, before someone finally heard me.

So, I get there at 7:35 into the room, a mere fifteen minutes past the time of remembering, and guess what happened?
I found out that I'd been cast as the bloody part, but they'd decided that I wasn't going to show up so decided to give my part to someone else! So now instead of Gabriel, I'm now some stupid Demon out to Kill Mary. (Which sounds oh so much like Hail Mary) This Stinks.

So, I have to pretend that I'm having fun at this thing, and I'm now going to have to wear tight-fitting clothes in the performance. Tight-Fitting! And I have to give up three hours of my every Sunday until the performance on November 30 and December 1st. That includes Thanksgiving which we'd always spent at my grandmothers! And on top of that one of the performance days is my Other church's Advent Supper.
AT THE VERY LEAST IF I'M GOING TO GIVE UP MY SUNDAYS AND OTHER IMPORTANT TIMES CAN'T I HAVE THE ROLE I EARNED?!?!?!?


Sigh... welcome to my life.

Firstly, we had parent-teacher interviews yesterday, so all of the classes were cut short. I was expecting forty-minute classes with five minutes in between, which would have let us out five minutes later than lunch on a normal day, meaning 11:25 (Wednesdays are shorter normally, with lunch at 11:55). What really happened was the first two classes were forty-five minutes, the second two were only forty and with ten minutes in between, which let us out at 11:50, five minutes earlier than lunch on a normal Wednesday. After MusicVocals11, I decided to head on over to my old junior high (I had been wanting to Tuesday, but I was too tired to) since I hadn’t been there since the fall right before the house burned down (on my first day of high school). I got there and suddenly realized “What teachers are still here!?! And better yet, which ones would I want to see?!?” So, I saw my grade nine math teacher and my art teacher from grades eight and nine (she gave me A’s ^.^b). I talked to the new principal and while talking to her my grade nine Phys Ed teacher said hi, and I learned something new! When a teacher who’s likely had about 700 students in the two years since me remembers me and I don’t remember his name I feel absolutely dreadful! My Tech Ed teacher had retired after last year (which I learned from my brother who had visited during exams) and he would have been one of those teachers worth talking visiting.
After that I headed home, chatted a bit and not long after, my friend called (I had told her to) to talk about our plans (I don’t call her house anymore, not since her Chinese-speaking father answered. That was a very uncomfortable two and a half minutes). I told her I’ld meet her at two o’clock by the library. So, then I ate half a cheeseburger (which had been sitting on the cough for a while *cough*) got my things together and headed downtown (I was finally out of the house at six to two ). So, I walked on downtown and by the time I got to the library it was ten after two. How embarrassing! Okay, so she’d already been inside so we went back in and headed straight for the teen section (where they keep the more mature comics and manga, magazines and older books). We spent an hour just reading! So, I took six books to the counter and asked what the limit was. They told me that it was sixty! So, it turns out that I didn’t need to put back those other eight books! I got an Inu-Yasha book which was totally exciting, because it’s been two or three years since I read the translation from Japan (written description only! With only about two or three complimentary images scattered around, which made for handy references until I could get to the books).
After the library we headed back up the street to the mall, my mom needed hot glue sticks for her meeting (Sparks, the 5&6 year olds of Girl Guiding) which is how I even had money at all downtown, I spent the last of it during March Break. So then I got some stuff from the dollar store for myself and then went back the way we came. So then as we’re back at the library and cutting across the path she asks, “Where is this place?” and I reply “Not that far away”. She says, “Key word, far away” and then I retort, “No, key word not far, not”. So we continued like that for a block (minus the break of seeing two other friends; me: “hey”, them: “hey”, us: *keep walking*) until… her-> “far away”, me-> “Not far *turns a right into the shop*”, her- “ooooo…”. Then we went in to the bead store, I asked some questions for a special necklace I’m making and then look around and compare to the materials I already have, including a blue glass (or something) heart. My friend asked about it and since I’d bought it the last time I was there, I showed here where to get them and then she asked if I would make her a necklace if she bought the supplies. We spent twenty minutes planning out her necklace and since I didn’t understand exactly what she wanted and she couldn’t really explain, I suggested she make it herself and showed her where the store kept their tools (which they let people use for free if they’re making the jewellery at the store, you can only use the stores beads though). In the end she had decided to only buy the heart, but she didn’t even buy that. Well, I felt it to be a waste of time, while she was proud of her time-blowing abilities. (To be honest, her necklace was beautiful in concept.)
Lastly, we headed down to the Loomis and Toole (an art and craft store) down the street so I got some stuff, saw something really cool, called a Buddha board and then got my friend and left. I just got my marks for first term yesterday, and all were in the general ranges I was expecting. My lowest mark was Canadian History11 (54) next came Oceans11 at 74 (I didn't hand in a project) and then MusicVocals11 at 86 and Math11 87. Since my brother and I are both passing, the four of us went out to eat at Swiss Chalet. I've been tired all of yesterday since I woke up at 9pm. Well I have to go to school now. Parent teacher interviews are today, so it's an even shorter day than normal. I'm thinking of heading downtown to check out the shops.
Come to think of it... I was hoping to do better in MusicVocals

Yeah, that's right. It started out as an Easter Egg Hunt, but the teacher said "I hope noone will be offended by that" and after a little ranting changed it to the above. She asked us if anyone had serious problems with it and one girl had her hand up to ask a question (the teacher had after all brought this up in the middle of a class discussion or some such), then the teacher looked at her oddly and asked her, "Do you have a problem with candy?" causing the whole class to laugh. She told us not to tell anyone (I don't count this because none of you go to my school) because a)of the whole religion thing, and b)teachers aren't allowed to give out candy anymore. If they're going to give out a treat, it has to be something healthy, like an apple (pricey much?) Then she said we couldn't do it because she remembered that our student teacher would be teaching classes next week and that wouldn't be fair to him. Then Shayne (a boy I've known since grade three) said "No no no, it could be a "Spring Cleaning" *winkwink*"
Anyways, it was decided that she'll just give us the candy (in baggies like on Valentines) and maybe we'll have a hunt some other time. --This was on Friday (yesterday really...)

I could've sworn there was other news... but I cannot remember at the time.

Now, the reason for my title was due to the fact that all cheerleading music are mixes that we custom-make, and during the whole wicked tournament one team on Saturday had a hilarious and awesome mix. Would you like to know a seceret? Yes, I speak only of [link] The use of that was most awesome and added a good laugh to the day. (That part of the journal practically wrote itself last Saturday! )

Also, I doubt anyone's noticed, but I'm trying to only sign on when I have something new, and a snazzy type of new at that, which is why my last update was nearly a week and a half ago. Speaking of snazz, I've been working on jewelery, so yay for that! If I actually finish anything I'll upload it here.

Would you believe that I tried to start writting this journal right after my last deviation submission? What? You don't?!? Well, it's true, I got kicked off and only got back on long enough to save the journal from above.
And speaking of Trew... The Trews are performing a free concert here tonight!

Okay, so towards the end of February I went to see if I could get my contest entry back. So, after some running around as the teacher attempted to find what she called, her "transition binder" (transition to a new school, haha get it?). We went to the Student Council room and there on the board were the three winning entries. I was there!, shocking eh? So I came in third. Now I get a free school dance.
Alright, based upon this next comment, the previous was Tuesday. I got to school at what might be considered late *snicker* and went to Math. I'm looking in trying to figure out why no one is there, when it dawns on me that it was Tuesday (Monday had been an inservice). So, I hurry on down to Oceans, but the floor was wet from the snow we had on Monday. I slipped, managed to catch myself somehow, although ungracefully, and continued on to class. As the day progressed, my ankle would hurt to walk on. So, before Canadian History (my last Tuesday class) I called my father and asked for a drive. I knew I wouldn't be able to walk home, much less to my after-school class. Alright, so my father was going to be in a converance, so I called my brother and he said he would.
Now, the teacher with my entry said to come back after school, and I hobbled all over the school chasing her. Finally do you know what she tells me? That she never even got a chance to look for it! Here I am, waiting for her for fifteen minutes while I have a schedule to keep and she doesn't even give me enough time to say, "Can I get it from you tomorrow?"?!?!
Alright, so off to Wendy's because my brother insisted I eat, and then to class. I was really tired at class. Being awake since seven pm will do that to you.

On the weekend was a cheerleading competition, which unfortunately I forgot about until this morning ;.;

Alright, so I wore my heels again today because the sprain healed I got a 36 out of like 43 on a test I didn't study for (seriously, I didn't even read chapters one or two) and I did absolutely nothing with my past weekend. Although... I did sort all of the jewelry I've scanned so far into this file. That's everything starting from this summer and picking up again at the Holidays. Enjoy?

So far math has been going well, but math likes to be deceptive like that at the beginning of the year/semester XP

Anywho... so a weekend or so before the exams I finally watched The Nightmare Before Christmas. It was pretty good, although I may be a little biased since it's so popular now. They played it one day after school, but I didn't really watch it, the only part that I really ever remembered was Sally at the beginning with the straining spoon, which often came to mind throughout my life (aka-the past ten years or even a little bit more). Okay so, after talking to my mom the next day or so, I found out why I never watched it.
She said she remembered the promos and remembers thinking it seemed odd. I never watched it because she thought it might scare me, which come to think about it... it may have. Of course... let's not forget that my parents also censored the Little Mermaid so that I didn't see the ramming of a boat into Ursala. Not that I remember having ever watched the Little Mermaid... Later though I saw another version of the little mermaid and it was so sad, then I found out that that was the real version. "I hate you Hans! I hate youuuuuu!!!!" Of course... one oughtened get upset with him... he was probably just writting down an old story.
Anywho, having seen Nightmare Before Christmas, I drew fanart (first fanart of an actual character evah!!! ) which sucked because it didn't really coincide with my own style very well *angst*
Anyways, few weeks back I went to FutureShop with my brother (a Thursday because I had singing lessons, and come to think of it... since I didn't have lessons last week, it was specifically the second I do believe.) and I saw the Corpse Bride stand. Pretty exciting for me actually... so I read the cover, became impressed by the fact that this was a ten year project and then left it alone at twenty-seven dollars. Okay, so I was looking at the screen while my mom was on eBay a couple of days later, and what should I see but a couple of new CB dvds? Alright, so talked to my mom about it, bid on it (she was already buying stuff from that person after all, so yay combined shipping) and won it. It came in yesterday! So now, right in front of my face on the desk is a wonderful unopened copy of the Corpse Bride! Although... I have to wonder how it is that the seller can affored to sell a twenty-seven dollar without tax dvd for only thirteen, not to mention that he had atleast two!

Ah well, the only question that remains to be asked is, do I watch it on this here computer? or do I watch it with the family?

oh well, huzzah for while it lasted.

Exams:
MusVoc11 jury - I unfortunately had a cold, so I just have to hope it wasn't all too bad.
Music Theory exam - fail! I don't understand theory in the slightest! I can only sing (if you can call it that) by ear. I was the only voice student taking the eleven theory, everyone else was band and strings. You know, people who play their instruments by reading sheet music!!! *angsts*
Dance class final assessment - fail! okay... so not really, but that's just how I felt about it.
English exam - *stressy mcstress-stress* I didn't even finish one of the books for the exam! I only finished chap 12 of thirty-one! The essay questions were: compare play and book, something about book, or something about book. It should have been a combo, one about the play, and one about the book. In anycase, I fudged it I say! fuuuuu~dge!!! So basically I bullshited through the essay.
Science10 exam/unit test thing... - Okay, so although I hardly studied fir this and didn't do any all weekend, all in all I felt pretty good about it. It was today, and there was only one question (worth one point) that I didn't know the answer to, which I most likely got zero for, as I made my answer rather vague... and another question which I was sure which it was (also one point) so I went for the first answer to come to mind (this particular section of the test was multiple choice). Alright, so I finished before the hour was up and then left once they let me.

Just some stuff about exams: You have to stay for atleast the first hours, regular exams are two hours, plus an extra half hour for those that need it. My Science exam was one hour (with an extra half hour for those that needed it) because it was a unit test, out of four units. So since it's like... a fourth of your total exam mark, it's a shorter time and less stressful in general "exam". Also... ecology is a good subject for me. Lots of understanding *nodnod*

The reason I've been asking about tablets is that my dad said he'ld get me one (sort of like a Christmas present thing. Me-"well... the was sort of some thing I wanted..." *insert dialougue* him-"a tablet computer?!?!", me-"a what now?". Shortening this short story to, me being reminded of tablet computer (an experimental and expensive computer that you can touch the moniter- to select options etc.) and him essentially saying he'ld get the thing ^.^) on Christmas Night, or maybe the next.


And on another note...
