First, Happy Valentines day everyone! I hope you all did something special for your special lady or guy.

It's my last year of school this year, yay! I'll finally be turning 18! Yay! I have PS3!Mega YAY! Gettin Tekken 6 the second it comes out here, awesomeness!
Life is actually going pretty well on my side of the world for once. Not much is happening, but I'm just living and going through it, just like everybod else. I started to write a new book I decided, something that I think I (at least) will personally like. This year, I also am now going to get rid of stagefright, and I'm trying to become more faithful and optimistic, well I said trying, I didn't say I was succeeding...
For stagefright, I must simply go into a tournament, or at least some tournaments for martial arts, even if I feel I don't entirely know what to do, I must try and figure something out. I also have to learn to not be intimidated by either my opponent or those around me. I don't think its actually the rank I'm that afraid of fighting, just the size of my opponent and whether they are bigger than me. Sounds stupid, but I must become better, I just hav to learn how. I need to learn to come up with a split second strategy, with a defensive measure since most strategies I make like this will either be blocked or dodged.

School life: I need to start truly studying and learning my stuff, and I'm getting there, slowly but steadily, I'll get there. In the end, all I know is that I will succeed and will become a wildlife vet.

Speaking of dreams, I've got a particularly bizarre mixture, I'd like to be a zookeeper/wildlife vet, as well as a master of a martial art, and invent my own. Also I want to become a much better artist (another goal for this year), I've decided to take up acylic painting. Drawing won't get the results I want, so I have to switch. I will still sketch and what not by pencil, but paint with acrylic.

So that's bout it for now, just my life and everything in it in general, how's everyone else out there?

Serving just over half of their sentence.
They are being relocated to Australia to live out
The rest of their lives. They disgustingly and
Violently took Jamie's life away and in return they
Each get a new life!

Now this is the thing I don't get, yes, true it is cruel and unusual and no doubt another thousand or more words could be used to describe this, BUT, this is the thing: Why is it always about revenge? I know that this case is like many others around the world, and being human, and having a maternal type instinct, we want to naturally kill or sentence them too. But seriously, is that the way?
Just note I am NOT defending them, I am only stating a point that I do not understand.
Do we accept that they have been given a second chance, that the judge may have forgiven them? Or do we take things into our own hands and let them be killed just as mercilessly. Being a Christian, I know it hurts to hear such things, and our natural human instincts tell us an 'eye for an eye', 'a tooth for a tooth', etc. But we are also taught to forgive, to love our enemies, because in the end we will end up like them, (not the merciless part), but we'll be on the point of the sword, not the handle. Was this mercy wrong? If so why? These two men were on the point of the sword, but were set free. An act of mercy? Forgiveness? I don't know, I wasn't there, so what can I know or say. I know how it hurts, what it can do to the victim's families. I;ve seen it time and time again.
I understand if many must think I'm heartless, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But this reminds of one story in the bible:

A man (or servant, I forget (I'll just call him Max) owed a debt of money to his friend (or master just gonna call him Mike), but basically the Mike, said forget it, and it was never spoken of again (note this is the act of forgiveness, the end that Christians are meant to be on.)
A different man (calling him Jack) owed money to Max. But Max was ruthless to Jack, he wanted to make sure he paid back everything he owed (what our human instinct stands as). However at some point Mike comes along and sees what has happened between Max and Jack and intervenes. He asks Max, why do you be so harsh on this man, when I have let go of your debt...

I forget the rest of the story, but it's something close to this anyway. But this is only my view on it, no doubt many could act against it, and a bible story can probably be used as an example as well. I just don't know. Here I am only expressing what I feel and understand.

Although this part will sound heartless to many, (most who will not understand):

Being a christian, I look out for the little things in life, I follow my own way, my own honour and try to follow the example of the good samaratin, that's just me and who I am, and I don't care what anyone else has to say about it. I give a gentle bow when I say "good morning" or "good afternoon" or even when I just say "Hi" to strangers, because well it's the way I sort of raised myself to do.

Anyway.. I wanted to share a story on DA for once, about the blessings I've found in my life (Note these won't be in chronological order):

1. The first blessing of my life, well, obviously birth (but that's one for everyone), but something that happened days after it... Literally when I was two or three days old I got a really high fever (somewhere close or above 40 Degrees Celsius), my beloved grandmother held me in her arms in an armchair for what I was told to be over a day! My fever went away. My first blessing; life given another chance.

2. This one actually happened yesterday, I was slightly ... cursing myself for picking up rubbish (if any of my friends know me, then they know I hate it and almost always pick it up), of course I was bein sarcastic about it, but by a creek I picked up a plastic bag, right after that moment (and I kid you not) the sun came out. light literally pushed away the clouds shadows and I saw it happen right in front of me. I found that to be a blessing. 2nd blessing.

3. November 25th 2007 (exactly 1 month before xmas!) Baptism day, I was 16 back then, on this day in my church and by one of my close friends, I was baptised and confirmed (after choosing to do it myself). I thought it was time to truly become a part of God's family, God led me to it. 3rd blessing

4. (This is a very long term type blessing): Looking back on my life, apart from my parents, God had raised me as well. When I was in primary, well I wasn't a church goer, I didn't like it, neither did I like 'divinity' class... Never liked it back then, I barely paid attention. ANYWAY... Moving on from that, when I was in intermediate I started doing Tae Kwon-Do, and I had a real talent for it. My dad said I really had a spark for it. (I think it came through him genetically myself because my dad was a boxer, but I don't know, God gave me this gift for a reason, though I don't know why just yet.) This taught me self-discipline (still God teaching me through here...) Between intermediate and college, my parents divorced, it was the most heart crushing time of my life. I thought I would never believe again (but then I didn't go to church after primary, cause I still thought it was boring and more like a 'chore' Anyway, going through college was odd. I had a girlfriend, then, but she literally broke up with me for no reason and it scarred my heart even more. It was even more painful than I had realized, it influenced my life. I never believed in love again from then on.
However when I moved house I asked my grandmother about church (I think I was a fourth former (Year 10)), she told me one was close by. We went up there together the first time. I don't know why I was drawn to a church then, but I was, must've been God's influence without me knowing it. Anyway I went up, was shy the first time, then I met some of the best friends I could have ever asked for. The 4th blessing

5. This happened at the hellhole known as Auckland Grammar School (P.S. I name it here for a reason!) Someone had unhooked the brakes on my bike, and straight out from my school was a steep hill down. I left school, started biking down and tried to use the brakes (I didn't know they were unhooked at the time), didn't work. I panicked, the steepest part came and I think I must've gone at least 35-50 km/hr (sorry, I don't know that in miles I think it's about 18-29 miles per hour) I saw what was ahead of me, a red traffic light and cars. I think I may have seen my future by hitting them from behind (a bloody head, and death), then I saw a bus to my left, I didn't see what may have happened if I hit it, but hey it would have been better than dying, so I took the chance. At this time a voice said inside me to look to my left at the bus, after all, crashing into a flat surface couldn't do that much... could it? I took a breath and what must've looked like suicide, crashed into the back of the bus. I swear I was protected that day, I had a blood nose for no longer than 10 seconds, I was shook up a bit, took my bike and walked back up the hill. The 5th blessing

6. (The most recent blessing, in October this year) I was at a Jr. Keeper programme at the zoo, I got to do keeper type stuff. I had a really awesome time, but the blessing happened when I left. 1. The 'reality check' drawing. Ok, we all know that all male anthromorphs are huge and muscular (well most are anyway) and most female anthromorphs are small and sexy.
Now, my second challenge is this. I want you to draw your character with your body instead of the completely buff and ripped character's body. This one you might have to look in the mirror for, and apply all features (within reason of course) to your character. This one does require honesty. Send a link back to me () so I can see. I'm interested to know. There is no restriction on what type of clothes, weaponry etc. to wear (I've been asked that already, and make sure you can actually lift it, lol) (For all those who read this, please spread these two challenges around DA) If you wish (and this is what I am going to do), put your list of hobbies and activities down (or your characters, or both!)


Me is back! Though my scanners all screwy right now, so I can't upload any drawings that way, (damn it!) However, there may be other ways to do it... I'll think about dat later, but if I come up with a way, deviations will come up.

The reason I left is this, my art was crap, straight up crap. So I decided to work on my style and find my own way, and I think I have now. Though damned difficult, I have got my own way now. The artist, is the first one in more drawings like it to come. I decided to ditch the outer black line effect for now, cos I don't really like it, but I may use it again soon. Right now, I'm trying to go for realism.

So now I'm technically a photoshop user, but not in the way you might think. I still work with pencils and only pencils in my drawings, BUT I now copy effects from photoshop that I struggle with, i.e. smoke, or windswept grass and trees, shadows, the list goes on, but I will get better in the end.

As for life in general, I got a new guitar (Which I love immensely), and I have taken up martial arts and ballroom dance at school (and for all those that think it's sissy, let me tell you this, in my class it's 5 guys and like 25 girls, so you can't shame me!) I might take up chess to improve my strategic skills, (used in martial arts, otherwise I'd never do it.) I finally learnt how to ice skate, and I now go to an awesome school. I have lots of new friends, and in my martial art I am starting to learn how 'chi' works. I've never heard of it, but it sounds interesting to me.

Ok, exams are over. I got Baptized and Confirmed at my church yesterday (Sunday 25th november) and now I am up at my mum's for a week, yay msn for a week! Been out with my gf a bit lately, though haven't had much time on my hands. Once I return to Auckland we plan to see the movie Heart Break Kid together and I hope to *blushes* finally get my first kiss... (For those who don't know, I've known her for four years... You can start laughing now... But I aint ashamed of that rele)

Art wise, Starting to change my style, except for the comics I am starting to put up. They will be using my old ways. I quite like my new style though, can't wait to get better at it!

Also I finally got my first re-inactment sword, the ones that we use for training and such. It's a one-hander and in my opinion, very well balanced. I am enjoying it though I was completely beaten to a pulp last time... Had a thrust to the gut that made me bleed a little (Remember these re-inactment swords have a blunt edge and tip, well mostly anyway...) I got smacked in the face by the flat side of the blade, and struck on my finger with the full force of the blade, it bled under the fingernail, which sort of surprised me.

Um... I had something else I wanted to write...

Oh yeah, The start of my day, could not be any weirder. My friend who lives down the road has a really cute black cat called Eddie. He loves practically anyone who pats him, though he can be wild at times too. Anyway, I saw him on my way to school this morning. So naturally I stopped to pat him, (cos I love cats! XD) Just as I start to walk away, he follows. I stop. He stops... He rubs against my leg. I tell him to "Stay." But as everyone knows cats never obey their masters or friends of their masters, so he continues to follow. I picked him up once and put him on the fence (he climbs on it all the time), then tried to walk off.

You guessed it, he jumped down and still followed me! So this time I placed him by the open window and gapped it! Eddie just sat there and watched, I think I must have entertained him, lol, aww well, gonna see my gf today, so it's all good and in these summer holidays, I'm gonna volunteer at the zoo and help out around there (in the end, I might have some cool photos with me and some wild animals if I'm lucky!)

It's not really like me to get actually depressed anymore (cos most of the time it's just a bloody teenage mood swing), but I am, and I know it aint a mood swing this time... Basically, I had a rough day, and a little critic type voice keeps repeating this in me head, "I have no faith in myself." When I think about it, (and I mean way back to when I was a kid), I have never believed in myself and I very rarely rely on another or had many friends, I actually think I have more friends on DA, than in real life! OMG! O.O
Now, those stupid thoughts have got me in a tussle with myself, and I'm all dazed and confused. Seeing as this is the only place (apart from my church, and when I'm alone) where I can be truly honest, I cried last night in my own bed. Nearly cried myself to sleep too. This morning, still feel like crap, but as they say, "Shit happens."
The one other phrase that I try to keep telling myself is: "Have faith and you'll be fine." (A phrase that Lance says in my book) But it always reverts to hateful thoughts on myself.

For some reason or another I feel that I can be open and honest on DA, but eveyhwere else, I have to be what they expect me to be. My father expects me to be A grade student, so I'm constantly doin that. School always treats me as the BFG (Big Friendly Giant), so I'm constantly doin that. As I said before, only here, church and when I'm alone am I ever free to be who I really am.
I know this was a bit of a rant. But this will probably not happen again for quite some time, still hate the mood swings though... Why can't I ever have a happy mood swing? Meh, who cares...

Oh yeah, I did some research and a few interviews with true masters of ninjutsu, tae kwon-do and kung-fu. It's official... This is what most said, Quote, "It's good to learn a martial art, but everyone has their own true style, but having one as a back up is good as well."

So basically, I agree on learning a martial art, but everyone has their own way or art, e.g. and myself have already learn this, I'm not sure if he can teach his, but I'm as sure as heck I can't teach mine.

Just to follow up with that, all three also said that some have different attributes than others, from what I remember and was told, a couple of martial artists were actually psychic! (I know it doesn't sound true but... after I saw it myself, my opinion changed.)

Ok, now what was I gonna write, um... Damn I don't remember, anyway, well how's everyone goin out there?

BUT

Saturday was like da best day of my life:

Saturday morning I was working with lots of friends (all ages), from like 9 - somewhere in da 80's I think... But I have a photo of all of us at the end of it. I was actually having fun doing manual labour (mowing lawns, painting signs... I know WTF?! How the heck can you have fun doing that?!) I'll probably put the pic up on my DA account soon...

Anyway

Saturday afternoon:

I went out with my girlfriend on like da best date of my life! We've been goin out since intermediate (4 years), She took me (well practically dragged me) shopping from mall to mall, *sigh* In the end she bought me a nice as pair of jeans for my b'day. I bought myself a unisex ring (she has one that looks exactly the same, so I just had to, lol) as well as a new watch. We wandered round our area (Newmarket) for like 3 hours then went into the big city...
We went into an arcade and played there for like hours on end taking pics. (Ok yes, those ones are odd, but I have a rele cute one (in my opinion) that I'm gonna put up on DA as well) After dat, we went to the most romantic place I know, a place called Valentines. Everything there and during the day went perfectly, it could not have been better!

Monday

Note: I didn't put sunday in, cos all I rele did was go to church.

Honestly, the day was terrible (Monday, bein my b'day) it was pouring with rain, and I was practically drowned when I reached school, actually, no there was something else, I crashed on the way to school. Some old bitch crashed into me, she was in a car, and I was on my manual bike in da pouring rain at like 30 km/h, but o well, I dodn't break anything, had a blood eye for half da day, and I only bled on my hands, right elbow and both knees. I'm surprised i didn't take more damage, I must have skidded at least a good 20 or so metres. However it got better after school.
Went to sword class that night, full moon dat night (got me worried, I turned 16 on da day of a full moon *howls*) But, I actually did well for once! We had lots of free play bouts, first one on one, (I did ok at with a sowrd and dagger, won like half da battles) and after a four on four battle. It was so cheap at the end of one of them, I was cornwered three on one, and I won! OMG!!!! The other three had sword and daggers as well, though I think one had a sword and buckler.
However da best match was my last one, ended up two on one and we can take two hits b4 we go out of da ring. Me and them had all taken one hit, I took the first one of them out, (the more experienced one, by a huge fluke!!!!) and the other I fought with for like 5 mins, cos we were like equal in speed and strength. In the end, he trust at me and blocked with my sword and just walked up to him and threatened his throat with my dagger. It was rele surprising, and a very ironic ending, but my teacher said afterwards that i have a much better speed and balance than most (Personally I don't believe him) and that it was inevitablle I would win becoz of it (still didn't believe him) But that was definitely the second greatest night of my life!!!

School has started again, surprisingly not as miserable as I thought, I got good marks for my exams:
83% co-ordianted science exam
61% other co-ordinated science exam
62% Maths
77% Spanish
70% English (top in class! *woot*)
Yes, I am a bit of a geek, lol, but I need grades like this for university (preferably better)
total: 353/500, for my class, dats dam good, (gets me into about 5th place I thnk, I haven't got my report yet, so I don't rele know)
Even better, my rival in sword class who hated me, we finally became friends and are now only rivals in battle. Slowly getting better at Go (a chinese strategy board game, my personal fave). Tae kwon-Do is as normal and I can see the sun and sky today (1st time in 2 weeks) Everything is looking up! Yes, finally, everythin is gettin better!!!!!! *woot woot*

Had an exciting storm a couple days ago, power was out for 10 hours, had to run by candle light for about 3 of those 10 hours. It was actually pretty cool seeing how much we actually rely on electricity and then havin it taken away with you, my mother went beserk for a few minutes. Trust me when I say, it's hilarious! and a tad scary.

Gonna b doin an art trade with so I should really b doin dat drawing now, *sigh* oh well. School starts again in 4 days, it will kill me if I stay there another term, let's just say I'm considered the underdog until I stick up for myself or another. I've been practically demoinzed by some students, but I don really care. Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me.

Missed AC unfortunately, I wasn't too sure if I was gonna go anyway, but mayb I'll go next year and see some DA friends. Who knows. Sword classes are goin fine and so are martial arts, been enjoyin it and customizing my own moves and combo techniques (also called patterns)

What do I have next to look forward to... Well I got my big date with my gf on the 28th of July, b'day on 30th July, and then I guess snowboarding in da next holidays. This was just a life update I guess. I onli did this cos I was quite bored outta my wits, but now I'm gonna start my drawing for which if I'm lucky will be up tonight.

Bottom line he said I was cursed.
Ever since then I have creepy dreams, some that come true and some that don't. Plenty of bad things have happened to me ever since, for example, most recently at my sword class, I tripped and the back of the bandle (a steel sphere) hit the bottom left of my ribcage (nothing was broken thnk goodness), not even a bruise to show for it... I could give plenty more, but I can't b screwed, and I still don believe a word that bastard speaks, he can kiss my cursed ass for all I frickin' CARE!!!!!!
Oh well, life goes on and on and on... I don't think that life in general has changed very much, I think I was just a bit unlucky, finished my first ever pencil colour drawing (putting it up tonight). I think it turned out well for my first try at color really, but I dunno. Yes, I am tired and bored today.

Good news:

1st: I finaly finished my first colour drawing! (Ok yes, to everyone else it aint much of an achievement, but to me it was! lol) Unfortuantely, it won't be up for a while and I tried a very basic background, cos I've never done backgrounds before, lol (everyone reading this )

2nd: Only 2 weeks of school left then a winer holiday, still lovin the cold (around 2-8 degrees celsius) temperature

3rd: I've started to make my own martial arts style, it's like a whole mix of things, lol

Bad news:

1st: I CAN'T GO TO ANTHRO CON!!!!!!!! Meh, oh well, I'll wait till next year, who knows what'll happen, I was hopin to go, but I had my doubts about it...

2nd: Exams at the end of this week, I've studied for them, but I'm not sure I'm ready yet, meh, whatever...

3rd: My book draft is comin off DA, segments will be mentioned in drawings relevant to it.

Over the weekend, let's just say I had a very harsh time, I was at a tournament right (all short range weaponry tournament, swords, spears etc. but no bows, guns etc.) First match, against my arch rival, using mace plus sword (to the teacher he said it was a risky combination) Me, using sword + dagger and all martial art skills I can muster (As you should know, that's Tae kwon-do + a bit of everything else that I know personal styles I guess, lol)
My rival absoltuely hates my guts (excuse the pun, you'll see why it is soon), he's hated me since I started (and whipped him when he opposed me in battle) He felt really bad losing to me cos he thought I was a beginner, I did tell him I had done this before and that I did martial arts, so he shouldn't be so hard on himself, but then he tells me he's done this for like 10 years, I think I've only done martial arts for like 3 or 4.

He's had lots of matches against me ever since and we're pretty even, we've both nearly equally won and lost the same amount of matches (but I think he must b keepin score to hae such a grudge against me)

Anyway back to the tournament, he was furious with me, he wanted me to oppose him in the finals so we could finally agree on who the better fighter was, (he told me he wanted to use a greatsword against me, but now he has to use mace and sword) basically, he thrashed me, badly, Luckily we had to have all blades made blunt before the fights began or I honestly probably would have died.
He (somehow) slashed my shirt open with his hand (I had knocked out one of his swords at this time), then kicked me back, I'm nearly out of the ring, he picks up the sword and comes at me, I dodge it, then from out of nowhere, his mace hits me in the hip (trust me that hurt) then it hit me in the gut and got me in mid air, as a finisher, he spins bashes me in the gut again across the ring (remember this dude is like 25, and I'm 15) I'm not out of the ring, but I wish I was.
Here's me shirt ripped across (a pic of it I will temporarily put up) and I'm coughin on the ground, he more or less forces my hands on my side and practially stomps and holds a foot in my gut (you can't tap in these unless it's a submission move, and if you know me well, I don't give up, that's how dam stubborn I am) In the end he takes it off and I get up, dagger in hand, he sttacks wit mace, dagger blocks, uses reverse side of sword (round end at the bottom of sword handle) and hits me in the gut again, (now this is where I got lucky, and I used a bit of my own things to get out of this) he kicks me in the chest, I stopped just by the arena line and I fake tripping backwards and landing outside the ring.
I lost the match, gut dead and I feel completely humiliated. Teacher helps me get up and I lie down nd rest for the next two hours watching the matches go by, wishin it was me in there, oh well, I'll just have to do better next time! lol
But to end this on a good note, I only have a bruise on my stomach and I'm back at training, I hold no grudge against him, though he looked real cocky last night after he challenged me and I said no, the teacher told me it was a iwse decision but I'm not so sure...

“Unfortunately yes, I have, you see, when I was young my parents were killed in a massive village raid by highly skilled bandits, I hid away and an anuma I thought was a bandit found me, turns out he would be my new father, he adopted me. I was crying at the time, feeling helpless, he told me to fight for what I believe in and that I would win, I stood up and he wiped my face with a cloth. The whole village was burning in flames, my village was made of wood houses and hay roofs, it was all alight, the thieves were going through everyone’s house and took everything they could get their hands on, I closed my eyes, fists clenched and felt dark power stir within me, I let it take over and it circled around me. A few of the men attacked, they were killed instantly, I rose into the air and just screamed. I think in the end, my blade calling will either be: 2 swordd, a dagger and a sword or a rapier and a sword, but once I'm at the mastery area, it will be awesome! Ok, I still can't do a flip yet, but I'm going to learn at some point, but to be honest, I have found it a bit useless if anyone can tell me a use for the flip (apart from the wall climb to back flip technique) please suggest it.

Unfortunately I've upgraded my programme, (I swear it nearly kills me! lol):
100 press ups
75 sit ups
25 chin ups
15 minutes-1/2 hour meditation
1/2 hour yoga
1/2 hour-1 hour bikeriding
but, Sword classes (2 hours), Tae kwon-Do (2 hours) and Capoeira (2 hours) are all still the same.

]]> ~Silent-Myst http://Silent-Myst.deviantart.com/journal/12646448/ http://Silent-Myst.deviantart.com/journal/12646448/ Fri, 20 Apr 2007 03:16:31 PDT Well I've never had time to b4 until today, but I've thought about my past, mayb to try and make me feel better, it made me feel worse, oh well, probably just a teenage mood swing or somethin, I wish it would end already, all I know is, I aint takin no f**kin anti-depressants (I know it isn't like me 2 swear, but I'm rele annoyed right now) mayb I'll feel better once I'm back at school, the centre for all pain for me, I sound so emo, don't I? But that is how I've always seen myself at school.
I was actually so desperate to try and feel happy I talked to a relation (I would rather not say who) and she told me that (another relation) tried to make me perfect as a small child and it scarred me, and it's apparently made me put way too much pressure on myself in everything, (especially in exams) if something to me wasn't perfect I had to keep trying to get it right, no matter how long or hard it took me, I guess that's one thing other thing about me that's bad, I'm very stubborn.
I know God is with me and all of you reading this as well, he hasn't forsaken me, I must just be going through something now that I don't understand.
But let's face it, there aint no light at the end of my tunnel, I feel like I've been blinded forever and that happiness is just a myth for those who believe in it...

Starting to feel a bit better today, I got my own professionally made shanghai (or catapalt or slingshot, whichever u want to call it), as soon as I get my sword back at my dad's house, I'm gonna take a pic of me with my own weapons, can't wait to do that!
I've finally decided to become a full pencil artist, colours included, though I'll need to have a few lessons from some books, but I was originally gonna wait till I could get photoshop, but now I'm thinkin, screw that, I'll just go with coloured pencil and progress with them.
Also, from the end of the 22nd April, I won't b on for a while unfortuantely, not until either like September (OMG!) or until I get a new computer, (it's more likely the computer will come first, so can't wait till that comes around!!!)

I need to workout a bit more, T_T (and I thought I did enough!)
This is what I've been doin for like 6 months (or there about):
80 press ups
80 situps
25 chin ups (I'm useless at chinups! lol)
50 leglifts
20 minutes sword practice
1/2 hour yoga
10-15 minute meditation
After on Mondays I have 2 hours of sword practice on Monday and on Tuesday and Wednesday I do Tae Kwon-Do, and to go along with all that I have guitar practice and (this is my own choice) card magic practice, drawing and writing my book.

I'm such a freak aint I? lol

^.^ So that is about it. So many of you I know are kind and caring people, so I may end up saying more than one thing, since the rules don't say that you "can't" put more than one reason. Post if you need some self-esteem!



This guy is one of the nicest people I know, very forgiving and strong in faith. He will easily lend anyone a helping hand. A truly loyal friend and a very nice guy to have around, He's very supportive to everyone around him and can make anyone feel happier about themselves, no matter how down they feel (he's done it to me a few times when I need someone to talk to, when I feel miserable and that can be a lot of the time, when I'm at school! lol)

After today I won't b able to use msn or put up any devciations for a while (up to 10 weeks! O_O) I may as well explain why, my parents are divorced and live far away frome ach other now, My dad has a crap computer (can't go on DA!!!) and no scanner, but my mum has a good computer and a scanner/printer, I stay with Dad for school and Mum in the holidays, so yea, I'm still online and all, just won't have any deviations up for a while! Sorry everyone! I'm gonna get a good computer (Microsoft Vista hopefully) and a scanner/printer as soon as I can! (However at school, I can get to DA, so you can still send notes to me or whatever if you like and I'll answer them.)

Also has anyone of you got a song tha reminds you of something? Or a song that defines you and your life? But once I've got chapter 3 up and running, I might feel better, but no-one will read it, coz who would honestly bother coming to my website, the art is terrible! and hardly any1 reads the writing. The last 4-5 drawings haven't been that good, coz I can only do a good sketch once mayb every 2 days, but I did it repetitively for 4, so my drawings look crap! Sorry guys, I've lost all inspiration now, and I might re-do one or 2 of those drawings when I have the time, or if I'm bothered, but I'll probably feel better tomorrow, hopefully...

Any1 who reads this hoestly tell me, why are you on DA? Do you want to have a future in art?
I am on DA, because it's a place to store my art and writing, it's more of both a passion and a passtime, I have passion for all things I do, but in the future, I want to be a vet working for the world wildlife fund, I would still like 2 do art even then, but not as much coz I'll b so busy and all.

Arius-Xanatos is a great artist and true friend to any and all people, he's got his own art style, he does really well with the hair, it looks very realistic, maybe he can teach me once I get photoshop!

Jan-Michael9500 is a really good artist with photoshop, he has a few tutorials on his gallery for all those who need a bit of help with photoshop, but these 2 artworks were definitely my faves, keep goin at it!

Well apparently I have been 'taxxored' by so now I must say 6 weird things bout myself and I must pressure 6 others to do the same, then those 6 people will have to say 6 weird things bout themselves and do the same to another 6 people. It's kinda fun 2 see what everyone else does! lol Well here I go!

1. Talk to myself (out loud and in public!). I do this quite a lot, almost anytime anywhere, I've even been known to sleep talk to myself! lol.

2. I've got more friends online than in reality. Where I am (new Zealand), I'm a loner, just like my dad, I like my own company, but on the net I've got plenty of friends to talk to on msn.

3. I cuddle up to nearly any wild animal on earth, from birds to snakes, love hugging them, caring for them and talking to them, accidentally talked to the white tiger when I was patting it (see photos in my gallery), man that was embarrassing! lol Not much of a domestic animal person.

4. I like fear! I love getting scared like crazy by someone else, I enjoy the adrenaline rush I get from it, to me it's so much fun, not much of the person that likes to scare others, just really like getting scared myself! Never got tired of it, probably never will either!

5. I stick my head out the car window, just like a dog does, I have no idea why, but I just like to, kinda relaxes me, I love the feeling of wind in my hair, goin at 100kph (60mph) is so much fun!

6. Ok, believe it or not, just like I like to dance to Disney channel music, or nearly any musci, but I hate people watching me, cos I don't exactly have a dance style, if you know any martial arts, some say it is to b considered like a dance, I took that literally, sometimes it doesn't make a half bad routine, but sometimes it's just plain pathetic or embarrassing!
