Only thing that really happened since the my last post was, I found a college, found a future career, family car died, saw a few car accidents, and suddenly got into a new fandom!

Okay, who has heard of Starsky and Hutch? I thiiink I had before I saw the movie, but I'm not sure. Anywho! Tuesday night, I decided to finally sit down and watch the entire Starsky & Hutch film, with Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller (love my owen). I thought it was awesome! A ton of other people didn't, but I don't care about them.

So that got me curious about how the old series went down. Well, ever since then I have watched the series Starsky & Hutch every single day, and am slowly catching up! I love it!! Starsky is a cutie

As soon as I get a new job I'm buying the first season, because stupid aol video only has like a handful of second season stuff, and a few fourth season.

I noticed that almost everyone on the show, and guest stars... had blue eyes. I thought that was weird.

Anyway, off to finish another S&H epi before going to bed!

So today was shopping day! For me, right? HA! nope. For all my little brother's teachers and stuff. So we spent the entire stinkin' day going in and out of Tuesday Morning's around the city trying to find gifts. Boring with a capital B!

Finally at four my mom and I went and picked up my cake, and then she took me to Borders where I was gonna buy Supernatural Season 1 Companion. So I was all excited, cause I've been wanting it for a few months now. We get there and can you guess what happened? They didn't have it! Their last one sold last week, and they have absolutely no idea when they'll get another shipment in.

Even though I tried not to, I totally pouted the whole way. Actually, when I first left the store I was blinking back tears.

So we get home, light the candles on the cake and I blow all seventeen out in one breath! go me Then my mom, my brother, and I sat down and basically inhaled the whole thing. We've all been craving cake for months!

Presents? Yep, one. It was from my brother. So I open it, and guess what it is? MY OWN BOOK! He wrapped one of my books from my bookshelf! But I pretended to love it, and hugged him- he cringed at how tight I squeezed him. Yep, he totally knew I had figured it out. After I threw away my empty plate he ran and hid himself in his room. Good boy.

And thaaat was my birthday! Yay.....

Wonderful thing about being homeschooled- yep, there's no career counselors to help! And I'm definitely not paying for what, cause I don't have the money. So I'm going to have to just stock up on library books and try to figure out what it is I want to do with my life.

So if I find a career... and I find what I'll have to major in, what degree I'll have to get... what if I have to start looking out of state? That would seriously take like... days to go through! And then my stupid mom won't help, she just keeps blowing it off saying it's "Not important right now". Well, it obviously is important or I'd have to do this when it's actually time to apply for college and then I'd be panicked cause I wouldn't know which one to choose!

This is all very very frustrating

So we get a new one and it's at the moment still cooking. Then, on top of that, it's my mothers birthday. Now, I know as you get older a lot of people hate their birthdays, but for God's sake, you don't have to act like someones just died.

She won't talk to any of us. Everytime I try and make a joke she glares at me and then starts cussing me out because of my 'wisecracks'. She's just so frustrating! So I've left her birthday card and birthday present beside her bed for tonight, but I better prepare for it to be thrown at me considering the mood she's in.

Every Thanksgiving is horrible. I don't know why.

I read it because I'm gonna be seeing the movie next weekend. I've been really wanting to see this movie since I first saw the previews earlier this year, and now I'm even more excited!

I was really depressed last night, and a little bit today. I hate that my mother is my only friend but she doesn't act a friend towards me. She's always talking about her 'dating-site-guys' and how much she hates being depressed... and then whenever I want to talk about the latest book I've read or tv show I'm into she just kinda throws me off by saying something like "Hey, do you think this guy's cute?"

It's getting so frustrating. I was so depressed last night, that I actually watched the second season finale of Doctor Who (where Rose is forced to leave the Doctor) just to cry. I just don't understand why I can't keep friends. The relationship is usually quite great in the beginning but it eventually fades. Like the Doctor's companions cry for the loss of him, I cry for the loss of who I thought were friends... cause I know no one would cry for me.

So I sat in my doorway listening to my iPod. Then my mom comes upstairs and starts screaming at my father, and once again they're at it. They went on for a good ten minutes before he walked out the door. That's when my mom turned on me and began screaming at me. Didn't really get most of what she said, but it was something alone the lines of not doing what she told me to do. And she ended the sentence with "little girl" rudely... she knows that bothers me because that's what my father says to me.

I'm just so friggin' tired of all this. Doesn't she understand that maybe I'm a bit tired of all the arguing and fighting? A little tired of being put in the middle of it? I'm so tired of venting to a devart journal. God why is it so hard for me to get any friends? That's why I love Doctor Who so much. Sure he ends up kinda pushing them away or they die, but there's one quote that always gets to me. Now I don't remember it exactly but it's like "In the end I'm always alone". And god do I know what that's like.

I don't like being lonely. And I hate even more so that I am forced to stay alone. It's like everywhere I go people only want to chit chat, not become true friends. I feel so stupid saying stuff like this, but my heart desires a true friend more than anything in the world.

Oh God, I'm so blushing. But it's true. Honest to God it's true.

So until I am honored enough to find a friend, I guess the Doctor will have to do

Tonight he started one with my little brother (he's 9). Then they started fighting. Now try to picture a 65 year old man physically fighting with his nine year old son. Hard to picture, I know. So my mom runs down the stairs to try and break it up, but he just won't let go of my brother. He had him in some sort've headlock pushed against the couch, and was knowingly hurting my brother's sprained wrist. My mom pushed her way between them, and scratched my father's arm inorder for him to let go. He did, but then they started screaming at each other, and my brother was just kind've standing there crying.

I ran into the room and tried to get them apart, but to no avail. It was like they couldn't even see me. My father's pushing my mom, my mom's hitting my father. It was crazy, and I mean I got directly in between them and started screaming "Just stop it!". It was so surreal, because it's like they couldn't hear me or see me. And suddenly I felt like Dean (from Supernatural). For a long time he would step in between his brother and father, but they acted as if they didn't hear him, see him.

So my father, with a bloody arm (remember, mom scratched it), stomped out of the house. My mom and brother ran to another room to call the cops. And I was just left there. Alone. My mom called her best friend, my brother curled up next to her, and my father went to the bar. And I went upstairs and sat in my bathroom and cried. How pathetic is that? It took at least twenty minutes for the cop to get to our house. You could tell he was new or bored, cause he was like "So.... what's up?" and my mom told him and he said "huh".

Anyway, I'm alone in my room now, listening to Justin Timberlake's album, and chewing a slim jim. Today was just an ordinary day in my world.

So from that moment on I have been unbearably depressed.

For weeks after his death, the only song I would listen to was "Fix You" by Coldplay, and that is now, in my opinion, the Andrew song.

I can't stop thinking of Andrew, and those last few hours of his life. December 19, 2005. What was Andrew doing that morning? Who did he hug? Who did he say "See ya' later" to? It's those kind of questions that keep going through my mind. And the funny thing is, I only knew him for three years in elementary, yet you'd think I'd lost my best friend.

Well, I did a month later. My best friend forever, my sister in everything but blood decided she didn't like me anymore and completely cut all connections to me the last weekend of January. So not only did I lose Andrew but I also lost her. The hardest thing was that for her, life went on. She continued to update her site. She continued to chat. She acted like nothing had happened, that she hadn't just tossed me out of her life.

I never found out why she suddenly hated me. But my depression only grew worse by her ignoring me. And so I was in a very deep depression for a little under a year. Then I contacted Victoria, and she was a blessing from God. In just one email, she managed to completely lift my spirits. Suddenly I no longer cried for the loss of Andrew every day, I stopped thinking about how much I missed Morgan. And for that, I am forever in her debt.

Unfortunately, the depression is back. But as I'm typing this, I believe I've figured out the cause. It's getting chilly here. Just last week the temperature was beyond the 90's, and now suddenly it feels as though it's in the seventies. And so along with this feeling of autumn, comes sadness for the loss of Andrew and best friend. I absolutely hate Autumn and Winter. I wish it could stay summer forever, because I'm happy and everything in those few months. But once it gets cold I remember those two. Yep, that's it. So I guess I'm gonna be depressed for a couple of months until it warms up again, eh?

Huh... maybe I should see a therapist or whatever. Cause what kinda freak relates cold weather to the loss of two people she knew?

Well, today I found out what happened. Sometime last week the step-father had been mowing his lawn and reached down to pick up something out of his yard when the blade flew off the lawnmower and cut off his kneecap. Yes, it cut off his kneecap. Well, he didn't tell anybody about this and just bandaged it up himself. Sunday afternoon 911 was called. Now why the mother called, I'm not certain. Maybe he wouldn't wake up, or couldn't stop the wound from bleeding, not sure. And he died. The would had formed a blood clot that went straight to his heart, and now those two young girls don't have a step-father anymore. All because he didn't go to the doctor, or let anyone know. He was only sixty, and he was constantly outside doing yard work. But the weird thing is, even though I've seen him out and about for the better part of ten years, I have absolutely no idea what he looks like. I don't know if he's tall, if he's chubby, what color his hair is, absolutely nothing.

It's obviously just because I'm kinda in shock that he's dead, because I see him at least twice a week. I'm just really sad for those girls. His funeral's Friday but I can't go because of my job. Yet another funeral I'm forced to miss.

My prayers are with them.

God, they can't just stop arguing for one friggin' day. It's so tiring, and they just won't shut up. They get louder and louder, and music doesn't sound them out (like professionals say to do). I don't want to turn out like them with my future husband.

I finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows a second time. I noticed a loooot more the second time around

*melts* I love Severus. I mean, I literally love the man... character... figment of Jo's imagination.... Up until "The Prince's Tale" in DH Severus was so one-sided. Always scowling, sneering, smirking, taking points away, stalking around like a bat... and then suddenly we see this completely different side of him. It made his character so much more realistic! But my favorite part would have to be love for Lily. I practically squealed when reading of it the second time. I wonder what would've happened if Severus had given up the Dark Arts and continued his friendship with Lily? But of course that is completely unrealistic because Severus lusts for power and control, something he didn't have growing up. God, I just love Severus Snape!!

And I love Jo for creating a character with such depth!!

It's quite pathetic really, but I feel like he's become my friend over the last eight years. I could understand him. Why he acted the way he did, way before even the fifth book came out. And in his last moments in DH I was actually quite content. I felt his role was complete, his time had come, and he'd finally be at peace. Sure I cried, but I was very content that his fictional life was over, because he deserved it to finally end. he had been tormented enough over the years, and deserved peace at last.

Pathetic, eh? I mean, who considers a book character a close friend? Okay, so I clearly have mental problems........

Yep, parents are still arguing... guess I'll go walk my dog.
