So Ive been kinda scarce lately, sorry about that. Alot's going on with moving and Ive been sick for the past 4 days, SUCH a drag XD

Even though I havnt been feeling right I still got dragged to Chuck E Cheese yesterday with my mother, 2 older sisters, and 2 nieces. The place was rather empty but still, for someone who really doesnt like kids a ton, thats not the place to be XD
Plus, in all honesty the Giant Rat is creepy.

It had its funny moments though, the main one was when I was playing my DS at the table and happened to look up and see this music video thing playing on one of the many little tv's. It showed the chicken, big purple thing, chef, and southern dog all on a rollercoaster. I had to LMAO cuz who the hell let them on the rollercoaster? Srsly Wtf? Also, I got to watch my sister flirt with this guy that was my age and had like no interest in her XP

Then I got sucked into going to the Mall... my mother is the type that thinks she can make my happy by buying me stuff (even though Im the opposite and would rather just hang out with her and watch a movie which I have voiced MANY time but noone listens -_-)so she got me this dress, purse, and fan at an asian shop there... got it smaller than I need so that it'll be something to shoot for... lulz sure X_X and Im a total tomboy so its like 'when am I gonna wear this?' I appreciate it and its cool, black and red but still.

Anyway I think Im done ranting heh sorry about that XD
Oh the Nendo Faq thingy is up and I plan on having another contest in the future. Prize would be a Nendo XD Matt or Light. When would be the best time for it and would anyone be interested? (I might have asked this before but im spacing out right now lol) Thanks

Nendo How to and FAQ

Where do you get your Nendoroids?

I usually buy them off eBay but sometimes get them at a local anime/comic shop. If you buy them off eBay, please be careful as many are bootlegs (fakes).

Are yours bootlegs or real ones?

To be honest, I don’t really know. At least 2 of them are bootlegs, I could tell that by the quality. The ones I purchased locally are definitely real. The others are very nicely made and don’t have any flaws so it’s hard for me to tell.

How much do they cost?

It depends on where you buy them. If you get them off eBay they can go for as low as 15$ ( but your taking a chance of getting fakes) or as high as 40$.

How do you change the faces/arms/bodies?

Don’t you worry about breaking them?

Not anymore. At first I was a wreck thinking I would accidently snap an arm off or something but after one of them rolled off the table, hit the floor, and turned up fine, my concerns disappeared XD

How many Nendoroids do you have?

XD Right now on 8/4/08 I have 15. One of those is a Haruhi nendo, all the others are Death Note related.

What kind of paint do you use?
I use basic acrylics you can find at Wal-Mart or any craft store. Here’s a general pic: [link]
Though if you can, try to stick to apple barrel brand, I’ve found its easier to work with than others and doesn’t get all… clumpy.

How do you get them so shiny?
I use a gloss to give them the shine and to also seal them. Here’s a picture of different gloss’s I use: [link]
The sculpey one is only used when I seriously mod a Nendo (ex. Watari)

What do you mean by ‘seal them’?
I basically mean coating/protecting the paint job. If you seal them, you can get them wet/dirty/etc without having to worry so much about the paint coming off (though everything has its limits). To use something as an example: [link]
In that comic Mello and L were both in the chocolate. Mello was covered and yet because he was sealed I had no real trouble getting it all off him. L on the other hand was not sealed and even though he barely got any on him, it took a lot longer to get off.

What kind of paint brushes do you use?
Anything decent, the brushes in the gloss picture are actually my backups XD and are not good quality. You can use any type of brush you please, but you might have problems with strands of brush hair falling off while your painting and getting on the nendo. Then it’s hard to get off -_-

What do you use to edit hair/make props?

So yea, we ended up keeping that cat... she got tested and doesnt have any diseases. That little cat is still here... Ive been calling her Kichi (kee-chee). I really dont WANT another cat (4 is enough thanks) but Im starting to get attached and so is everyone else. I hate to say this but i really wish i could find someone to take her. Were supposed to get dogs soon and the cats we have are laready going to be an issue. I dont think adding another would be a good idea.

(EDIT: like seconds after i posted this My step mothers like 'were keeping her if she doesnt have leukemia.' Shes a bitch, the last stray that came around... my father and I wanted him and she made a fucking fuss over it. But now she wants this one and noone else is aloud to say anything. God im pissed now, the cat is young and if i could just find an animal place to take her she would definately get a home. Not like poor older bums that noone wants...)

Speaking of Cats... my cat Deuce... hes such an ASS! I was hanging on the porch with him yesterday and he went and started shit with a wasp and it got pissed and chased ME. I was like 'wtf deuce leave it alone damnit' -_- I also got attacked by a moth that day... i preferred the bee DX

So I figured I should list some of it here in case anyones interested, before I throw it onto Ebay. As far as prices go, Im not real strict so if you want something and it's a little high, I have no issue with lowering it. All the prices listed dont include shipping (all in USD$). To check shipping just note me, it shouldnt be much for places in the USA, others... Im not sure XD I'll have to check. I have more pics available of everything if needed. Im usually fine and her death doesnt bug me alot but it just hits me at random times... usually when Im thinking 'maybe I should call nicole' and I realize I cant anymore or I log into msn and have to log right back out because I cant stand to look at her screename and the away message she left days before she died:

Alrighty sooo I received the Misa Nendoroid yesterday (with a broken body + missing pieces) and had PLANNED on painting it and finishing Mello today but of course (after getting everything ready) I go to grab my paint brushes and theyre missing
Where the hell do 14 paint brushes run off to? I had a mix of nice and crappy ones and both are gone, so I cant even say the theif had decent taste XD Whatever though, Im gonna buy more tommorrow night so Mello shuld be up then or Saturday. Gotta say Im not sure how its gonna look XP but we'll see.

Also my mom got a puppy last saturday. Its a 4 month old German shepherd/Beagle mix with floppy ears and what I like to call Near syndrome. She'll take her toys and put them in this little chair (meant for kids) then climb up, tuck her paws under, and start playing. Last I heard she was named Misa (suggested by me after Near was rejected) but it might have changed. I dont live with my mother so I dunno what she'll end up calling the dog. Probly something retarded like Gummy Bear...

Aaaand ... I took all 6 of my GED tests this week. Glad its over but I wont know how I did until like a month from now... which SUCKS XD

I know I passed writing, reading, the essay, and science but Im a little freaked over Math and Social Studies. One of the math questions was just plain retarded... When am I gonna need to know the weight and sale value of farm fresh chicken eggs? I have no intentions on being a farmer XD

My little sister got it from school and the second I found out, I avoided her like the plague and was fine and dandy till I went to get a drink. I poured mahself some sprite, washed mah hands then grabbed some ice from the ice bucket... Only to hear my dad and step mother arguing 5 minutes later about how she shouldnt let Brighton (my little sis) get her own ice when she's sick.

Anyway, sorry Ive been a bit scarce and late to replying to comments AGAIN -_-'
My nephew (11) is visiting and he's been more of a distraction than I had expected. I thought the endless stream of video games and mmorpgs Ive downloaded would distract him but nope XD didnt take the bait. Since he's been here and Ive been taking care of him and my 8 year old step sister.... I have officially decided I do not want kids lol. Just no... Id rather get a few dogs or somthing XD

BTW I dont think I ever commented this but yea Ive got my baby back (my laptop) and its working well... the hinges are fixed but its still not great. The guy at the shop says he'd give it another year with heavy use before I have to get a new one. I dont even wanna think about it lol. (Ended up costing 160$ USD)

My birthday is coming up (july 14th) and Im dreading getting older but also looking forward to it in a way. My mother said she would take me to get a tattoo. Im scared to death but want one badly enough to deal with it. I just want a small pawprint either on my inner wrist, behind my ear, or the back of my neck. I wonder which hurts least? XP

I was sitting there... minding my own business when this random dude called me 'Hey there sweetheart' and I loooked up (super shocked and kinda scared cuz I never get any attention from guys unless its guy friends or w/e) and this guy srsly... near bald, chunky, smoking a cigar, and just plain scary looking was walking twords me. Figures... I had no weapon in case I needed it, was in a bad section of town, and me cell phone was dead. Anyway I was kinda too afraid to run off since my mother was suppossed to be coming right back but he came over and introduced himself, made me shake his hand THEN WOULDNT LET GO O_O commented on how 'soft and warm' my hands were then FINALLY let go of my hand and asked if the seat next to me was taken. XD Im a pansy so I only squeaked out something like 'uh... y-yea my mom's in there getting cigs' and he was all 'oh okey then darlin' and sat at the other table a few feet away and kept looking at me. When my mom finally came back he got up and left but HOLY SHIT I was so scared and like whoa X_X Am I over-reacting cuz... I dunnuh but that really bugged me and I dont think I acted well with it. I probably should have taken off or something but I dunnuh X_X
