Things are going at crazy speeds. I've graduated college, I'm about to take my nationals to get lisenced. Yes the scanner and tablet are both still borked. Unfortunatly they've been made low priority. *weep*

Phht.. you wish...

Actually several things have been going on. And it kinda has made me scarse all around. First, college is winding down, and in two weeks I'll be in clinic for the last 6 weeks of my whole college stint.

More recently, me and the boy toy I live with had to move to a different apartment. So that's what we've been doing lately. (toooo much junk) However, currently my tablet is out of action because I can't find the right power cord for it. Which has me all sad. I have no idea where it is. I thought I had the right one, but when I plug it all in, nothing happens. *sighs* Kinda kills the art thing. I mean the scanner's still dead.. so you guys don't even get pencil sketches


Second Life still has my soul. Which is good, I think. *chuckles*

Other then that.. Ohh.. just kinda putzin around.

Anyways...

Things here have been rushy hectic. Alot of changes have been happening. I'm still in college, still learning massage therapy. However... we're being kicked out of our apartment come august because the owners want to renovate and rent it for more then what they're getting from us. Guess the whole special deal wasn't that special in the long run.

So now I'm trying to find us a place.. hopeing to stay in this area.. and do class stuff.. and pack.. and whatever else that needs to be done. This is where I'm kinda thankfull I don't have a job, or I'd just be dead. *laughs*

I'm still trying to get this peice done for Bloodhound Omega's contest... Though between this, getting a new computers.. and a few odd failings of programs that I *need* to do the artwork.. it's been a slower then normal process.atleast I got the linework and the main part of the body flats down. just a few more details.. and some information and a name for the critter.. and we're good.

Other then that.. if I can get my scanner working again.. there's pages of sketchbook doodles I can share.

I know it's not fun watching an artist's gallery when there's no regulare updates. There will be again someday soon. Promise!

I'm kind of at mixed feelings about it. I'll be turning that dreaded 30.. and closeing a huge chapter in my life. Or so it seems. I'll no longer be a "young adult", and yet I feel like I've totaly wasted my youth away. Oh sure, I tried to make something of myself back when I got out of high school. Went to an art college. However, money issues kept me from completing that.

So that left me 10 years, resenting, hurting, crazy insane.. and clinicaly depressed. My 20's were a love hate relationship with myself, that drove my hubbt type unit crazy.

Then, something in me snapped last fall. I mean absolutely snapped. I had had it.. I couldn't live like this anymore. I couldn't live with the regrets, the life, the depression.. I couldn't continue to be a 400 pound whale with no hope of a future or a job. Doing the art thing was litteraly getting me know where, mainly because I was so depressed at times I couldn't crank things out like real artists.

I joined Curves. I took that first step to try and better my life. I might have wasted my 20's.. but I sure as hell wasn't going to enter my 30's a lame duck. I drew apon myself to change it. I grew stronger in my faith, and decided to finaly work towards being a full fledged shaman. Found myself enrolling into a massage therapy college.. and well.. just doing what I should have done years ago.

Ok sure, I'm still a 400 pound whale... but that's a slow change.. however, I've been doing awsome in my class.. I'm meeting new people and making new friends.. and I find that without this depressed cloud over my head, my desire to draw is slowly inking back. Who knows.. I might beable to start this design of tea/rum lables I've bee wanting to do. Might even restart my graphic story.. or start a new one. Dunno yet.

Though the dreadness is... I hate to move on to the next decade of my life.. knowing I wasted the last.. when I was young and should have been doing this the moment I moved to WA... So I could be enjoying my life more now... Yeah.. maybe I'm still a lame duck in a way.

Frankly, after realizing how.. unsucessfull I've been with trying to make a living with doing art, I had a change of venue.

I've been going to college for massage therapy.. which has been sucking my time with studies and such.

Na, not going to give up on drawing. It's just that right now.. I've been so absorb with my studies... I just don't have the stamina or the inspiration to draw right now.

Maybe someday soon... X)

Something along the lines off...

10 bucks will get you a sketch.
15 will get you the origonal mailed to you.
30 will get you a full colored, cgi. (you know.. the kind I've been doing...)
(and no, this will not be printed and mailed to you for more. Why? because if I email you the picture, you can put it on a pen drive or CD and take it to kinkos and do it yourself cheaper in the long run)
Now... it will be 30 extra each additional characters.
HOWEVER! I am doing something new. Medican Wheels. I have done them before.. though no examples because they were done on flimsy paper that a) is way to big for my scanner, and b) were either given away or did not survive the move. Now, for 75 bucks, you will have one done. All I'd need is your birth date. Why so much? Well aside the research time... it's going to be (drum roll) a poster! That's right, through the magic of.. delight... I will not only make a Medican Wheel out for the 13 months... but will try to get them printed at kinkos as posters, and ship them out to people who want them!

Now, why the price hike for the CGI images? Well.. time, effort, inflation, and I *very* much need some monies bad. If I am going to call myself a professional artis, then by golly roo, I need to start makeing deniro for it.

Oh yes.. I mean 13 months. There are 13 full moons, and the medican wheels go from.. I believe new moon to new moon. I will make one, just so you guys can see what they'll look like before I'll open orders for them. Even get the poster made first. (though no idea how I'm going to get a photo of it.. we lost the digital camera in the move. I'll think of something! Walgreens does photos on CD... I'll just get a cheapo disposable)

Now.. he was succesfull in burning up the house. *sighs and just laughs* I mean that's all I can do, is laugh. My family has had a string of horrendous luck for years. It was only a matter of time before the house finaly caught on fire.

Yes... everyone and animal got out safely. Even the birds (though one bit the fireman who was trying to save it.. heh)

Apparently he was trying to cut a metal bedframe into peices to try and get it out of the house easily. Well, whatever he was useing to cut the metal cause enough sparks to light the house on fire.

Mom was at work, and some guy called to tell her. Only he wouldn't talk to her, he insisted on telling her boss. (Why the hell is beyond me)

I ain't a furry artist. The furries I have drawn are a) for friends and b) for profit.

Then we still have the Celestial series... A poker playing image... Ken's Time character done up like Dr. Who (Tom Baker's ofcourse), and somewhere in there I guess I could do a contest peice for Zexnon. then whatever comes my way.


Again, I will open five spots for commissions later on down the road, and we'll see how that goes. X)


However, I've been firmly entranced with CoH again... so expect some Super Hero/villian themed art eventually. X) They added cloven hooves. That means Dyisi actually looks like a satyr (save she has that arrow finned tip tail.)

You know.. that brings me to a side rant. They added things like cloven hooves, clawed feet, and wolfish looking faces. However, what they didn't bother to add in were canine and goat tails. >.>

COMMON!! HOW HARD IS IT TO WHIP UP A CANINE AND A GOAT TAIL!??

Though as things go in order..

Father almost died due to pneunoma, conjestive heart failure, and an infection in the lining of his lungs. While he was at the hospital.. they gave him steriods for the inflamation.. and then for some idiotic reason, tested him right after for diabetes. Now, why is this stupid? Steriods raises the blood sugar... high. So ofcourse he'll test possitive for diabetes. So they stuck him on drugs he didn't need, not just that.. moved him around all the time due to renovations. The stress managed to rupture ulsers to the point he was bleeding internaly so bad he needed two pints of blood. *smacks forehead*

Well he's home now, on a nebulizer because of the infection.. an aptnia machine so he doesn't stop breathing at night.. and probaly a few more medications then the type he has.

So having put so much energies for him... and my mother (who has to deal with this and his senile mother, while I'm 3,000 miles away) I've come down with a cold or something... joy. So now I'm sick as a dog. bow wow..


Also.. where's the artwork!? I had all these things planned!! My wacom pad finaly died. Kaput... no more. We've done what we could.. and it's ovah. Can't even reinstall the program.

So now I have to dig out all the left over pads and pencils. Though this will suck for ED. I hate mixing mediums when I started drwing it with the tablet. And I was nearly done with the doppleganger too

Well it was a nice run... cannot afford to replace that... it runs like from 100-300 bucks.

Yeah, I put my ugly mug on the cover... there's a reason for that. But no.. the story isn't about me.. persay X)

Commissions and things:
Yes, I am taking commissions... (and for you in that furc thing.. no I'm not a port artist)
I draw it all... elves, humans, animals, furres, weres, mythos, cryptids, abstracts, spiritual pagany stuffs...

And it's mostly done on the wacom tablet.. so the prices is time spents. If you want it done on materials like paper and such it's time + materials spent.

I charge 50 bucks for a single being drawing. 10 bucks per extra... (so if you want say, Your DnD elven warlock fighting a Dire Weasel, that's 60 bucks. Want a Mimic added in? That's 70... you get the idea.) I will offer discounts as specials eventually.

Signatures.. (The Scirin one.. for an EQ charicter of a good friend is an example) will run you 20 bucks.

Now.. if you want them done with materials.. pen, paper and the like... Extra 20 (hey, materials ain't cheap...) So a single charicter portrait is 70 bucks. But, I will still only charge 10 bucks for any extras.

All prices are in American (Yeah yeah) and well, since I don't have paypal... checks are the prefered payment. When I get paypal up... it'll be easier.

Have been working on a rather seriousish webcomic.. graphic story.. whatchever you wanna call it. But because of no hosting, and Keenspace is the devil's tool to use, I might just upload them here. I've about 7 panels done, building up the 8th... And this is just the prologue. X) I donno how many pages I should run each chapter... I'm thinking maybe 12.... but then again, maybe as long as it takes to tell each one.
