Answer: The Jhoto ones, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. Cyndaquil's my all-time favorite, because it evolves into Quilava~

1) My school's mock trial team pwns hard. 4th place in the state. [53 total teams compete]. We lost in the semifinals to the school that has made it to nationals more than any other school in the country [and consistently places in the top 5 in nationals, too], so nobody feels bad about it. And since we were one of the 4 semifinalists, we got a nice trophy. 8D
2) Apparently my hair curls well, but does not hold curls that long. [I got attacked by my teammates that I was rooming with pretty much as soon as we got to the hotel Friday afternoon. They went "OMG YOUR HAIR IS SO LONG WE HAVE TO CURL IT" "YES WE DO" and I had no say in the matter. >>;]
3) I'm pretty sure I'm over my crush on keychain-boy. But... now I have a crush on one of my mock trial teammates. ._.;
4) Fate apparently hates my high school, because both its mock trial team and basketball team lost to the same school in their tournament semifinal round...
5) I am emotionless enough to convincingly portray a police officer, apparently. I'm pretty sure that was a compliment. [They did say that I was the best witness that round, so I think it's pretty fair to assume it was a compliment. The comment, paraphrased, was "But we all agree that the most convincing witness was the police officer. You were calm, direct, and emotionless, just like a real cop!" For the curious, I play 2 witnesses, one on each side, and my other witness is an engineer.]
6) To quote one of the attorneys from the team that beat us, "driving is serious business." I had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing. >> [I wanted to ask her if she frequents the internet or watches YGO:TAS or something like that after the round ended, but I forgot to... Because, you know, the internet is srs bsns.] [Yes, yes, I know driving is serious. You don't need to be concerned about me there, I drive like everyone else is out to get me, i.e., paranoid. >>;]

I had 2 shots and a blood draw today. -_-; So, arms are going to be sore for a couple days... Good thing I don't have anything huge planned, and I don't have to work until Friday. Ibuprofen, ibuprofen...

So this year for Thanksgiving, instead of going to my aunt and uncle's house like we usually do, we're going to the hick house.

And I downloaded the portable version of Gimp onto my thumb drive. So, hopefully I'll also get some stuff done. [Since, with relatives over, I won't be able to play console video games, as there's only 1 TV and it'll be probably broadcasting football constantly on one of the 3 channels we actually get up there.]

Which brings me to...
THE CHALLENGE!

Since it's the winter holiday season, holiday pictures swarm the internet. However, most of them are Christmas. I'm not saying Christmas is bad or anything [contrary, Christmas is fun], but I think we should try to contribute to some holidays that aren't quite as mainstream.
So, my challenge to you is as follows.

Pick a winter holiday that is not Christmas or New Year's. It can be from any religion, it can be well-known or obscure, if you're not Christian it can be the one you celebrate [if you celebrate one], it can be a holiday somebody else chose, it doesn't matter. It just can't be Christmas or New Year's. Draw a picture or make a doll for it, or write a short fic about it. [I don't care if you draw a Christmas picture too, I'm just challenging you guys because some holiday diversity would be nice to see.]
Or, you could also do a picture that shows multiple holidays, and including Christmas or New Year's would be fine for that.
If you accept the challenge, have fun! And give me a link to what you make.
I'll be participating too, using Hanukkah. [I know at least one of you can figure out why. >>;]

My consolation prize from Natsume came in the mail today, I got the chicken plushie that was the Island of Happiness pre-order bonus. And since my local GameStop doesn't get pre-order bonuses for anything that's not a pokemon game, I am pleased. And the chicken plushie is adorable.

Even though I spent most of the day feeling like I never should've gotten out of bed, I guess it wasn't a bad day overall. Not exactly one I'd love to relive [I almost never have days I'd like to relive >>], but... this is probably the best I've felt in a long time, actually.

Oh, and trimester final exams are this Friday and next Monday. Yay.

So I made the mistake of looking up "Libera Me" from Hell, from the Gurren Lagann OST. I should've known better, since Minna no Peace by Afromania, the third ending theme, turned out to be freakishly addicting and is probably going to surpass Shangri La by Angela as my favorite song ever.

So, the first 2 episodes of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann premiered last night on the Sci-Fi Channel.
It's insane, it's in-your-face, it's over-the-top, it's one big sexual innuendo, it's pure crack.
I think I'm addicted.

When the English language DVDs start coming out, I just may have to invest in them.

So... my birthday is Wednesday. I'll be 17.
...How'd that happen? o.o;;

...And I have to work on my birthday. But, it's a Wednesday night, and Wednesday nights are usually dead... Even a busy Wednesday night is more dead than a dead Monday afternoon. >>;

I already pretty much know what my parents are getting me, since whenever they asked I said "I dunno, surprise me," which means they're going to get me nothing and when I find, like, a new video game I want, they'll pay for it and call it a late present. [However, I do know that they're getting me the first Lucky Star DVD, and possibly 21...]
I wanted so much to say "I WANT A LAPTOP! 8D" but I know they'd just look at me, laugh, and go "Uh... no."

I need to figure out what to draw Katana for her birthday...

So... Rock Band.

So apparently after dumping me off at work last night, my parents and brother went shopping. Mom and Dad bought an elliptical machine [if they put that thing on the side of the basement that my computer's on, I think I'll scream...], and my brother bought Rock Band [PS2 version, so no Roam for me... aww...].
-I think the drums are kinda boring. =/ And I hate using the kick pedal thing.
-Me doing vocals = EPIC FAILURE [Although I think I could do vocals pretty well on Roam, since I know that song by heart, it's one of my all-time favorites...] UPDATE! If I know the song decently [Wanted Dead or Alive, When You Were Young, Here It Goes Again, Maps, Blitzkrieg Bop] I'm not epic failure on vocals. 8D
-My brother hogs the guitar. I tried it, though, and it's okay. Unlike on a Guitar Hero controller, I can actually reach the orange button. XD;
-Rock Band has a better song set than Guitar Hero III [which my neighbors dumped here for whatever reason before they left on vacation]
