Why is God against me?!

Alright, I've started my winter quarter and I have my classes, being a single one being dropped and another being added. I was so excited about that because I was able to get into Advanced Writing for Comics. Woohoo!! Though, it seems I have no art studio classes this quarter, which is kinda weird. Intro to Psychology, Advanced Writing for Comics, and 19th Century Art History, which I have with Nessa! (Whee!)

But for now, I'm slowly waiting for my laptop to be returned to me while amusing myself with video games and friends here. So if anyone is curious, I -am- alive, just am without internet for the time being.

I got gifts for the friends and an empty wallet to show for it. LOL! But yeah, thought to put something on here so people would know that I was still alive and kicking. And I really REALLY just want to get out of here and go back down to Savannah! T_T No more apartment looking, no more uncles leaving their wives, no more having to deal with slapping friends about for stupidity, no more having to try to get my mom's cimputer to work, no more being my lil sister's taxi service, no more funerals, no more weddings, and no more DRAMA!! Watching: The Phantom of the Opera

I drove home for Mother's Day weekend, was expecting to get things done and such but NOPE. The one day I'm there fully, I get to go to the hospital. My mom took me to the emergency room and I spent the whole day there. It sucked ass. But at least I finally found out what has been causing my stomach pains. Something called GERD and the beginnings of an ulcer. Now I'm on meds and have to go on a certain diet. ~_~ So pretty much, the diet rules out eating at JO's because it seems that is the source of the problem. I can't have any dairy products(which sucks), spicy, fatty, or fried foods. Blarg. And when I have one of my tummy ache attacks, I have to go on a water diet. Meh.

At least I got to spend the day with my mom on Mother's Day.

I knew it was Santa, quite tiddley and gay.

Staggering nearer those eight reindeer came,
While he belched and hiccoughed and called them by name
"On Whiskey! On Vodka! we ain't got all night,
You too, Gin and Brandy, now all do it right!

Clamber up on the roof, and get off this wall,
Get going you rummies, we've still got a long haul!"
So up on the roof went the reindeer and sleigh,
But a tree branch hit Santa before he could sway.

And then to my ears like the roll of a barrel,
A hell of a noise that was no Christmas carol.
So I pulled in my head and I cocked a sharp ear,
Down the chimney he plunged, landing smack on his rear.

He was both plump and chubby, and tried to stand right,
But he didn't fool me, he was high as a kite.
He spoke not a word but went straight to work
And missed half the stockings, the drunken old jerk.

Then putting his thumb to the end of his nose,
He fluttered his fingers as he quoted prose.
As he sprung for his sleigh at so hasty a pace,
He tripped on a shingle and he slid on his face.

But I heard him call back as he passed out of sight,
"Merry Christmas, you lushes, now really get tight!"

And Earlene in her curlers and me in my John Deere cap
Had just settled into our La-Z-Boys for Wheel of Fourtune and a nap.

Then out in the vacent lot I heard such a commotion
I thought it was neighbor Clyde, finally got his T'bird in motion.
I heaved out of my recliner and to the window I flew,
Busted out the screen and hollered for Blue.

The moon was shinin' down on my old wrecked cars
So bright they was sparklin' like rusty old stars.
And I couldn't believe my own hardworking eyes
When a jacked up Ford pickup come flyin' through the sky!

Faster'n Ole Ironhead hs possums they came
And he whooped and hollered and called 'em by name
Git up Sooner! Hi Duke! Move yer tails Yaller and Spud!
On Blackie! On Queenie! You mind me Duchess and Bud!

To the top of the satellite dish! To the top of the shed!
Now move it! Step on it! Y'all get out the lead!
You know how, on our road, when a car goes by,
There's all this dirt flies up into the sky?

That's how this crew went staight on up to my roof
With that pickup full of toys, a real nice gun rack, and Redneck Santa too.
Then 'fore I could pop my teeth in I heard up on the tin
The scrabbling around of them Flying possums of his'n.

I yanked my head back in the trailer and hitched up my shorts...
Down the dryer vent Redneck Santa came with a grunt and a snort!
He was dressed in red-and-green camo from his neck to his feet
And I had to give him credit he still had most his teeth.

Looked like stuff from Earlene's yard sale slung on his back-
There was flyswatters an' Tupperware an' 8-tracks stickin' out of his pack.
His eye took in our humble home
The furniture we bought on layaway in town...

Earline's pride, that Elvis on velvet...
My collections of barbed wire... and license plates made by relatives.
I coulda' swore I even saw a glistening tear
When his eye fell on sweet Earlene, a snorin'in her chair.

He kindly favored Hank, Jr., with a big round belly
That shook when he laughed like a blob of K-Y jelly.
Yep, he was fat all right, blocked out our whole Large screen TV,
And I had to laugh when I saw him, 'cause he looked just like me!

When he winked his eye I knew fer sure he'd treat us right-
Why, he might even leave me some ammo tonight!
I stood there dreamin' of whitetail while I watched him work,
Then he stopped and, like a real man, let out a fart and a burp.

He topped off our stockin's with Moon Pies and bottle rockets,
Then squoze up that dryer vent like spam in your pocket.
He jumped in his pickup, laid down on the horn...I'm not lying'!
And they took off like white lightnin' with their possum tails flyin'.

But I heard him holler as headed for the 7-11....

I just got back from my life drawing class, it was fun. I just got done with a three day pose and I'm quite content with it but I had to turn it in with my other good rendered drawing that was a two day pose. With that, I had to turn in my life drawing sketch book as well and I'm hoping I did alright in it...hoping. I got about 168 gestures done where I was suppose to have 200 but I got all my other work done and some extra stuff here and there. With that done with and the rest of the day free, I'm going to go crash and get some sleep because I know I need it.

With my other finals, I've decided to do my illustration with prisma maker than water color, mainly because I've used it before and I want to get better at using them anyways. I'm thinking of doing a split illustration with a fun made boarder. One side having Kyra and Cortez and the other with Galus and Seasu. I thought they would make a good clash, all I need to do now is figure out how I'm going to pull it off. I decided to do Kyra and Cortez because I listened to my Jade/Kyra CD I made a good while back and just got inspired. And I'm doing Galus and Seasu becaues I've been meaning to finish it, I've been putting that picture off for months and I feel bad about it. So I'm going to kill two birds with one stone. But I also decided to use prisma maker because I have alot and Mary has alot, so it helps with money cost and I also don't need to go out and buy water color paper. More money saved. All I need to do now is ask Jason if I can use his light table to transfer the images onto bristol board and I know he will let me.

So, some sleep for me and then another all nighter. And once I have most of that done, I will study off and on with my art history exam for tomorrow. Once those two things out of the way, all I need to do is go out and get steel gray paper and finish my portrait of myself for my life drawing final which is due Thursday. After that...SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!

As long as I stay in focus, I'll survive. I just can't wait and its suppose to be bigger than NekoCon...which is even cooler! The only thing I'm going to need to survive in is the weather....SNOW! I'm going to have much fun with that, snow ball fights. Whee! But I think I'm going to have more fun watching one of my friends try to survive as well...he's never seen snow in his life. The only thing I'm disappointed in now is that I can't lok forward to anything like the first movies. But it made for a great finish movie. I liked how it went with the book more but the only thing that got me going was the ending...black out, scene again, black out...scene again. It did that about four times before the actual credits came up. That just bugs the hell out of me but it was still good. I'm a happy little fan. Well, enough with updating...I'm going to the mall!! Woohoo!! Even though I have to take my lil sister, its al good becuase being able to see LOTR: Return of the King pays it ALL off. Yeah baby...YEAH!! I'm going to squee from the joy of it. And don't even get me started on physicals, they are from the devil. *nods* Mmmhm, the devil I saw. The worst is that I couldn't eat al day because I was getting my blood checked out and the appointment was at 3pm. O_O I was STARVING. My stomach even growled when my doctor came in...she thought it was amusing. Oh yes, its amusing when... *trails off into silence, mumbling under breath* But thats my big adventure for today...going to the doctor.
