I decided today that I want to start drawing like I used to again. I want to pull out a little sketch and doodle everyday, no matter how it looks, no matter how much better I could have done, I will not throw it in the trash. I realized that what progressed me in art over the years was sketches. Those dumb little drawings I would make everyday for my amusement and for the amusement of my friends.

Back then, I had a drive to just draw, but now I'm caught up in being ashamed of my own shadow. For two years I've been constantly critique myself of every line in a drawing saying, I should be better, this isn't my best, I'm not good enough.

Well here's the deal. I don't care anymore. Drawing is my talent in life, and I'm going to draw damnit, I don't need to be the best of the best.

MY GOAL: To accept who I am as an artist.

Thank you all for your support, especially my old time friends. You know who you are. It's time for me to start off new with a clean slate and a new goal in mind.

Unfortunately, I chose a drawing (traditional) portfolio this year, though next year I well have 2-D (digital) so I'll be able to post my stuff here. C:

I plan on doing two poke'mon ginjika, though I won't tell you which poke'mon, they will be girls. I plan to have those done this weekend, then after that I have two original works I want to finish. Then I'll get to the realism stuff- Yes, I want to learn to paint realism digitally. ^^ ;

BUT BEFORE ALL THAT- I want to join the Pokedex Contest with my ginjika, though, since I have to do three AP projects before Wednesday... I'm going to ask for an extension. :l I have the sketch down and everything, I just need a bit more time for coloring. Not much time anyway, just like 2 days or so after the 10th.

Ah well, wish me luck with getting all this done. :/

In other news: I highly recommend the j-drama Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (check my wallpaper). I've been watching so much j-drama now a days. Hanazakari no Kimitachi e and Nodame Cantabile are two that I have watched completely, and I WILL watch more- hahaha.

Overview:

1. Ended 8th grade year and started 9th. Let me tell you, my high school sucks.

2. My computer broke numerious times, the most in one year. But hey, what do you expect from an eMachine?

3. Started 2 clubs and became the admin of 1. Too bad my 9th grade year has been a son of a b (sorry for the use harss letter,) and I'm so bust I can't do anything.

4. Started to play World or Warcraft. Too bad I miss EverQuest so fricken much that WoW doesnt fill my needs of Online Gaming : P. They screwed up EverQuest very bad like, they should really change it back to the old days.

5. On WoW I had a level 30 that got deleted. *sobs* I have another level 30 but its not as good as the last.

6. Did I mention I am very stressed from high school? If not, I am very stress because of high school.

7. I have hardly drawn this year. I need to get on that this year.

8. Got a free subscription. Too bad it was only for a week. *sigh* lol

9. Found 2 new animes to watch, Naruto and Bleach. Though Yu Yu Hakusho ended.

10. Had jaw surgery over the summer and because of that I am out of shape like no other. Was out for a month and I couldnt play Volleyball *sobs*. I also still cant feel half of my lip. *pokes it*

....and it goes on....

Oh yea, I got homework over break, curse you teachers!

What I'm looking forward to next year:

1. Final Fantasy 12, Kingdom Hearts 2, and Zelda: Twilight Princess. WOO-HOO!

What I want to happened next year but probably won't happen:

1. For all my stress to be gone. D:

New Years Resolutions (is that what they're called?):

1. Draw more. xD

2. Get good grades that I dont get grounded for. (I get grounded if I get a C, curses...)

I HATE EMACHINES!!!!

So what my computer is doing now is whenever there is to much stuff open or a big program is open, my computer freezes for a few seconds and my monitor blinks like crazy.

Not to mention I can't play WoW or watch my Bleach and Naruto. =[ And don't expect any stuff for a while, it's not my fault my computer won't let me. =[

I also got this thing that plugs into my NGC and connects it with my Gameboy SP. Pretty sweet, pretty sweet...
