I'm really not sure what I'll get done until the start of the new year...

Social life is progressing, been to a few parties, hang outs, etc. Found not one but two girls interested in me, though drama might be an understatement with both of them.

Made lots of headway in the closet last month as I took my vacation holiday from Thanksgiving and cleaned it almost completely out. Got a few oddsa and ends spread around my living room, bhut hoping to have it finalized within the week/month.

DnD - I/We have 3 active campaigns going. I know I told you to expect them last month but DM wanted a little more creativity in 2 of them so I'm still haggling with him on a few details. Eventually backstories, reference guides, armor and weapon mock-ups (like the Stormbiter already posted) will be submitted.

PC/Video Games - Completed the WoW Thanksgiving Achievements and titles for my Main character an let my time expire. I'll be back for the CHristmas holidays eventually this month but not going to waste money while I'm playing Left For Dead 2 with friends via LANs.

Reading: Part 3 of the post-Willow Trilogy (2 is FINALLY completed!).

Watching: Still* clearing out my DVD collection; Marathoning Criminal Minds, The US Office, The Tick (both) & Mutant X. A buddy has tivo'd Dexter Season 4 for us to watch every couple of weekends.

Working: Nuff' said. But I'm liking it better this year. Stressed out the ass at the moment though. I've mentally committed to give it 5 years to see whether I could do it for a living, but I'm exploring returning to school for a masters in this time as well.

Hopeful: Chilling by myself some. Date!

Planning: LAN, party, concert(s), holidays.

Goals by January 01 (to start comparing based on monthly updates?)
1. Work out once a week! (try to establish a routine)
2. Submit SOMETHING original on DeviantArt -- DRAWN!
3. Submit SOMETHING original on DeviantArt -- WRITTEN!
4. Finish 3rd post-Willow Trilogy of book
5. Complete the Christmas Achievements in WoW
6. Finish DVD collection
7. Clear PC down to 450 musicians or 400+ GB avaliable
8. LAN Party?
9. Finish the closet boxes (currently residing in living room)
0. Keep stress at work down so 1 is doable without killing myself or another

Basically I'm going with the mod(10) grading scale to give myself some partial credit should I accomplish things.
I'm really not ssure what I'll get done until the start of the new year...

Social life is progressing, been to a few parties, hang outs, etc. Found a VERY cute girl interested in me and married (!), and another who is interested in seeing me immediately after she hangs with her boyfriend (?). WTF is up with the drama?

Cleaning Closet - Still boxes and books waiting to be unpacked, sorted, repacked or trashed.

DnD - Have 2-3 active campaigns going. See gallery this month for the backstories and character studies as completed. Look for at least a Dwarven Bard and Halfling Artificer. Both of those are level 4 now. Third is being re-defined by DM, details will follow on the reference sheets, but it looks to be some martial class or bounty hunter.

WoW - September/October was spent mostly doing Brewfest & Hollow's Eve Achievements, managed to get both titles on 2 different characters (my 80 druid and 72 hunter). Next Holiday To worry about is Christmas, so I have (Og'rila) rep to grind for a few toons. Going to try and powerlevel a few toons to 80 or 60 (for profession reasons) by Christmas. Not sure how that will turn out with a few key holidays and raids forthcoming in this month. This month: LEVELING!

PC/Video Games - AFK from LANs for a few months now, hoping one pops up sometime soon. However we are developing Rock Band. I currently sing on hard to expert and play bass medium varying on the difficulty.

Reading: Part 2 of the post-Willow Trilogy (yes, still.) And I would like to say the chapters are 30+ pages each and my OCD won't let me stop until I finish at least one whenever I start so give me time dammit.

Watching: Still* clearing out my DVD collection; Marathoning Samurai 7, Criminal Minds, The US Office, & True Blood Season 2. Using Hulu to catch up on other series; White Collar & Star Gate Universe. Buddy has tivo'd Dexter Season 4 for us to watch every couple of weekends.

Working: Nuff' said. But I'm liking somewhat better this year. Stressed out the ass at the moment though. I've mentally committed to give it 5 years to see whether I could do it for a living, but I'm exploring returning to school for a masters in this time as well.

Hopeful: Catch up on sleep and housework -- starting to look a little ratty.

Planning: Two parties I know of, Thanksgiving at 2 places, etc.

Goals by December 01 (to start comparing based on monthly updates?)
1. Work out once a week! (try to establish a routine)
2. Submit SOMETHING original on DeviantArt -- DRAWN!
3. Submit SOMETHING original on DeviantArt -- WRITTEN!
4. Finish post-Willow Trilogy of book
5. Max out (80) one additional character or two minor ones (60) on WoW
6. Finish DVD collection
7. Clear PC down to 450 musicians or 400+ GB avaliable
8. GTFO of house at least oen weekend this month
9. Clean out the closet (one stack of boxes)
0. Stay in the house one weekend -- nothing -- ME time.

Similar list from last few months but trying to be a little more realistic. One of the major commplaints I have with my job is the lack of personal time. Very little can be completed at work in a timely manner, so I end up bringing it home. On the off chance I do it all there, I get home worn out and grouchy not wanting to do anything.

Basically I'm going with the mod(10) grading scale to give myself some partial credit should I accomplish things. I'm tired of setting goals and giving up easily on them--I need to get serious and this is what I'm trying first.

Update December 01 (early a.m.)
1. 0 pts. still working around schedules
2. 10 pts. not my best work or even 100% complete but a nice mock up
3. 10 pts. sadly resorting to blog/rants as a writing. Still got character references, backstories, and modules coming.
4. 10 pts. finally book 2 finished, 3 started.
5. 8 pts. Completed all Thanksgiving quests and raided some. (sub ended for a while)
6. 8 pts. Down to the last 5 (picked up 1-2 in sales)
7. 0 pts. Didn't even try much more than clearing a few films off--still not enough.
8. 20 pts. Went out almost every weekend including 2 parties.
9. 20 pts. cleared the entire thing out over holiday, reduced 20 boxes into 5.
0. 10 pts. see above.

Total = 86 pts. Not bad, though I did extra-ordinarily well in 2 categories that could be subjectively scaled down to a 66. Still on the right track.

Holy Cow! A buddy of mine mentioned for me to check out my pageviews and lo and behold I'm almost at 2000. I guess I should do something considering as slow as I've gotten them over the two years I've been so called 'active' on dA.

On my vacation now and more than anything I'm trying to clean up my apartment and sort all my bills/paperwork. That will take up most of the remaining time I have, but I will be off and on on artwork pieces, rpg ideas (a few buddies are trying to teach me), and warcraft.

Movies forthcoming I'm going to see: Transformers 2, Harry Potter 6, GIJoe, New Moon, etc. I've got some high expectations for those.

Still dateless, but I am trying to associate with single women now. God help me (pun pseudo-intended), I may have to go back to one of these fanatical, local churches to meet a future-Mrs. *******.

Two buddies of mine are now in posession of/ownership of their own places now and we're trying LANs and get-togethers all around this next month or so.

Random Question of the Journal:
If you had to choose, would you go forwards or backwards in time and why? (for the record a random one-shot trip)

Forward. As interested as I am in history, fantasy, etc. I'm also interested in the science fiction/possibilities of the future. I'm intriqued by the assumtion of aliens, space travel, etc. In my own humble opinion the human race has become stagnant for the most part in the 21st century. In the 20th we invented, evolved, and damn-near perfected flight, automotive, computers, etc. Now that we've gotten those you see how little has changed in say...the last 25 years.

Anyone recently or having grown up and attended school in Texas will attest to the dry, masachistic bullshit that is the TAKS (previously the TAAS, soon to be EoC). God oh god how I hate that shit. But in less than 2 weeks it is done. So I will commit to this, after I get the testing through I will begin working on SOMETHING. May be small to start off, but something will be posted on here directly.

May be going to Scarbourough Faire (TBD). Not dressing up, but may for Renfest in the Fall. A few high priority movies coming out in the next few weeks I want to see with my friends. My Blizzard-Warcraft time card is about to expire and I think a break is well due.

If I do remain isolated in here I have a box of more than 20 PC games I haven't toughed, my entire DVD and Videogame collection to weed through for garage sale purposes, and a stack of books (classics mainly at this point) calling to me as I fall asleep.

I also need to start eating better and working out some so maybe the time will present itself. I ordered pants today from JC Penny and I realize I've balooned a lot more since college that I'd like to admit. So that's a big priority considering my family's recently unearthed medical history...

Well I've been on the World of Warcraft bandwagon for about a year and a half and I'm beginning to feel the time creeping back into some void of activities I had wanted to, but never accomplished. Well I still intend to play the game, it still has some things I would like to explore/experience and I want to see some of the suppoisedly interesting content they have lined up with Lich King.

All that said, I'll be taking sporadic hiatus' with the end of this current time card. I've literally got a box of PC games I haven't even opened or played since I bought or was gifted them by friends. There is no one major problem wrong with the game as I can tell, but all the little minor flaws you ignore or peruse over as you're leveling are blatantly obvious when you're stuck at a level cap and everything starts becoming repetative. (Next blog will be my playing style and I'll elaborate).

I do enjoy the WoW universe however so I will, if I ever get everything situated, be incorporating it into more pieces just as soon as time and my own technology allows. I have quite a few ideas for one pieces and maybe a small series. Well just all have to wait and see if anything happens.

I will be getting more things posted that I have done as soon as (above) scanner is operational.

When not ass-end up at work I hang with friends and enjoy video games and movies.
Well not much has been changing recently or truthfully as far flung as spring. I have uploaded a screenshot of my desktop. Why? Because I'm desperately avoiding the responsabilities and work I need to be doing at this very moment.

At this time of the year (holidays, birthday, end of school semesters, and end of the year), I tend to getreflective and depressed as a result of it. Truth be told, I am not happy with alot of my situations at this moment, some are within my realm of influence, some can be given enough time and effort, and others are completely beyond my grasp at this point. So for my New Year's Resolutions I'm keeping them simpler, but specific...

1) Lose Weight (health, energy, physique, etc)
2) Occupational Change (one I enjoy or can tolerate)
3) Develop Ideas (notebooks filled with ideas for arts and stories and projects, but I've been lacking follow through)

There are always minor goals I set based on my friends and immediate things, but these will be consistent battles throughout the year.

I wish each and every one of you a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Well, I'm perceiving that I will be able to post something new this semester. Not just because thanks to the walmart 5-cent notebooks I'm stocked and can expand on all these one liner ideas I've had and make details, decisions, and even start of mock-ups more easily. Also because I'm sick of the same pictures on here. Those who have occassionally gone to my art blog, such as it is, will notice lots of ideas and little follow through. Why? Because I have a full-time job, am going to graduate school, and still play warcraft on the occassional night.

Lots of research going into my original characters and their backstories. So detailed in fact it will be a miracle if I get a final draft of anything Bleach up.

Speaking of, can't wait for the 2nd movie to be dubbed by our boys at datebayo. Not to mention that the 3rd one it already about to premiere soetiume this fall.

Lich King will be a nice trip. I'll have a little bit of coin by then I'm sure but I don't know if I should spend the extra and get it for launch or wait til I get all my toons to 70 before going that route.

Spore comes out later tonight, but no coin nor interest while still playing an active warcraft account. By the wway, if you'd like to start World of Warcraft, I'm willing to refer people to blizzard (you get a special mount and tons of bonus xp), just message me before you sign-up s I can get whatever info they're asking.

Alright, most people have heard or know something about a 'mash-up'. It's basically what DJs have been doing for years except they don't add thier own sturms or scratching. Basically its taking the recorded music and mixing only it create a new song or a compilation of an idea or feeling. One of the best ones I can reference if "Boulevard of Broken Songs" by a San Francisco DJ named Party Ben, which features Green Day, Oasis, Travis, Aerosmith as well as other acts.

Anyway, the point of this is to say that I am looking for a creative person proficient enough toattempt a mash-up. As I am flat broke at the moment, but may be able to scrounge up something for a completed product this has no due date, would remain the creator's property, etc.

The Idea: A combination of multiple songs that convey an ominous but active enviroment in the air. Specifically included tracks: "Flight of the Valkyries" and "Flying Blue Monkey Music from Wizard of Oz--Title Unknown atm". Addition possabilities include but are in no way limited to "Flight of the Bumblebee" "Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone", etc.

Alright, small updates and two very simplistic designs, but they took much more work that they appear due to the intricate borders that I had to screenshot many times to be satisfied that I got right. As the posts read this is a post-mortem tribute to my old WoW guild: "Fighting The World", on the Blood Furnace server. Guild is now more or less deceased as we've all mostly scattered to various raiding guilds and some of us dropped out entirely. At some point and if I contiue to play an active part in the newer guild(s), I may submit versions of thier tabbards as well (something to consider).

I realize there's nothing drasticly impresssive by these but it's two pieces I didn't have. As I take of WoW-absence in May to apply for jobs and go on interviews you SHOULD expect to see more frequent and more though-out pieces. Currently in progress is a list of 100 different ideas that I hope to get up eventually. I'm also working on a mini-comic based on WoW as well as original character designs in 3-4 different fandoms.

Though gas and avaliable cash will be a consideration, I'm going to TRY to attent A-kon this year and gauge if I'd like to continue to go to conventions in the future. I also plan on attending a few Sci-fi ones next year that DFW offers free of charge + parking. Time and money will tell.

Ok, I'm not going to promise anything anymore because the last few times I've done that the universe in one form or another has put an abrupt end to my productive juices as of the last few months. Ideas ARE being stored, but it takes me a while to post. Not because I am a perfectionist, look at my stuff; not much of it would I consider perfect. That said, they are finished (save the VG avatar series which is still in the clean-up stack). And it takes me some time before I am satisfied with a piece--this is why I'm not a professional artist I couldn't work on a deadline and be happy with that work.

The facts are these...
-I am still checking dA, so I can try to stay up to date and to clear out my messages/deviations pages.
-I am still taking notes (god oh god there are so many scraps of paper around me as I type this) for future/current works or tweaks.
-I'm moving home and getting a 'real' job and life from college in December.
That said, give me until January or February and when my WoW subscription finishes and I'm too broke to reknew it, the creative works should flow...

Well, regardless of prior commitments and mmorpg-ing with my buddies, I will be posting SOMETHING in the next few weeks. What condition it's in and what it ends up bing are still negotiable. I currently have over 150 ideas for sketches, projects, or comics/fan-fics and I adamently want to get some of them down while the details are still fresh. I've even started a Word document to help me collect my thoughts.

Struggling in school with the master's level math course, teacher's no help, so any prayers would be appreciated. Still single, so yeah angst and depression are on highs this season. Later.

Well, about that whole getting back to school where I have all this free time to go back and arts up some of these dozens of projects that are fully developed but waiting on my to implement them...that didn't quite happen. The two education courses I'm taking are a breeze but the two advanced math classes are kicking my ass! Good luck wishes should abound from this poosting as one is a masters course and I'll be scraping my teeth to get out of this one.

So a buddy of mine tells me I need to post a definitive list on what I've seen and liked in anime. Considering I've been watching less than a year, shouldn't be too bad. Here goes.

01. BLEACH - addict
02. Samurai 7 - enjoyed characters
03. Samurai Champloo - guilty pleasure
04. Cowboy Bebop - awesome
05. Busou Renkin - ehhhh
06. Yu-Gi-Oh! - kinda enjoyed til the storylines repeated
07. Pokemon - yes, I am old enough to shudder at the sound, but have young enough cousins that I knew all of the original 151 and some that came immediately after...

I think that's all I've seen completely so far and enjoyed to some extent.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just so everyone knows, I'm a little OCD, occassionallly a perfectionist, and a life-time procrastinator. At the moment I'm also very overzealous which is the only way I know to explain how I could be half-completed with 20 projects (written or drawn) and still haven't posted anything recently. Sorry for the inactivity, but I'm an idea man, I can see something clearly in my head, but until my paper reflects that (by either my hand or another's) I don't like to post them.

Have faith, in July school is over and I'll have a month to catch up on my drawings, writings, readings, and sleep. Hopefully that will suffice for now.

Well if you missed the week long stent my first semi-complete character held in dA, don't feel bad, I'm retooling him and at least one more before final posting. Mostly to keep my cool ideas from being jacked before he actually registers on any of the Bleach (anime/manga) RPG sites. I'm currently browsing a few, but any solid recommendations would be nice. The hardest part for me is they all require a sample RPG text. I, though I could be wrong, take this to mean a short monologue of the character or narrator explaining a bit about the character involved. The creative process is driving me nuts in that I'm trying to put as much reference material into each unique character as I can, but ultimately the names and simply drawing them are taking forever. The names because of the power of the names I'm trying to generate (mixing cultures, not to mention trying to learn the basics of Japanese). I'm trying to vary each of their abilities and experience as well as alternating sexes for each one I create. Currently I'm mid-completion on 4, 2 men and two women. I'm also resisting the urge to generate more until I can at least record my ideas for the ones I have down. The samples may have to wait til I have a free hour in July but the zanpakutos and basic character mock ups are being roughed every time I have a chance to. As soon as they're up expect a two-fold upload each: one of the character design, one as the information reference sheet. Haven't decided if one will be in scraps or not just feeling as I go.

Finally as they get posted any and all criticism and opinions will be welcomed so long as they're informative. For example, I would prefur no positive or negative comments unless it's about a particular part of the character or reference material and that you tell me what you find good/bad about said material. I admit to being new at this but I already realize and brush off the inkling to make the characters God-mode like in power/reiatsu. I also know that I don't want to recreate some of Kubo Tite's material, though I will already admit and document that at least one's design will be based off of a similar character. I'm hoping I change it enough to satisfy copyright, etc.

Jacked from Nefis, encouraged to answer by my younger cousins...

1) What was your first Pokemon game?
Red, ironically a gift from the aforementioned cousin.

2) Can you remember who your starter was? If so, who and why?
Charmander, proud pyro then and now.

3) Did you ever complete the Pokedex in any games? Which one(s)?
With help of cousins and brother, cleared red, blue, silver, gold, and crystal.

4) Did you watch the Pokemon anime? Who was your favourite character?
Such as it was, lost interest as I got older and relaized the story was being recycled about every third episode. Identified with Charizard, if I had to listen incesently to that trio, I'd try to hurt them too.

5) Do you still watch the anime?
No. Skipped channels over it with my cuz, but nearly puked when I heard Ash's new voice.

6) What's your favourite Pokemon type? Explain.
Fire or Psychic
In either case, the raw power behind most attacks, when used properly, can overcome any type defenses the opponent has with a few exceptions.

7) Who's your favourite Pokemon? Explain.
Depends on reasoning. Charizard, Golem, Mewtwo, Gyarados, etc.

8) Which Pokemon do you dislike the most? Explain.
Any of the ones that are visually asthetic or too cartoony.

9) Which is your favourite region? Explain.
Kanto or Johto, all I've been exposed to.

10) Which is your favourite Pokemon series (ie, Kanto 1-151, Johto 152-251, Hoenn 252-358, others)? Explain.
Kanto, until he starts releasing the pokemon for trivial reasons.

11) Can you say a series Pokedex, without a reference, in order?
No, and I refuse to try.

12) Do you know all the type advantages, disadvantages and all the super-effective moves for each type?
not as many as I did when I played it.

13) Did you prefer Pokemon before the new ones, or after?
Define new? I was content with the original 151, the game was well constructed if a little childish at times. I'd even consider purchasing one again if they updated (by which I mean aged) the content and capturing system.

14) Have you got an Original Character who is a trainer?
No.

15) Have you ever wrote a fanfiction story about Pokemon?
No.

16) Was the OC based on yourself?
???? If you mean the TV show, (1) WTF? where did this come from, and (2) No.

17) Who is your favourite gym leader?
Elite Four, after the first three or four gyms they're normally the only ones who challenged me. It also helped that I realized how to rasie stats easy enough then.

18) What about Elite Four trainer?
See above.

19) If you lived in the Pokemon world, who would you starter be? (Please choose out of the normal starters, excluding Pikachu and Eevee).
Charmander (Kanto), Cyndaquil (Johto).

20) Which city would you live in before you started your journey? Why?
Cinnabar Island, Fire-based gym, plus the Haunted Mansion's unique catches

21) Would you travel just in the one region, or spread to other places?
Spread, but I'd try to keep a balanced lineup from all over. Or atleast the option in storage.

22) Would you train just one type, or different ones?
Different, but I have my favorites.

23) What kind of Poke-Person would you be? Trainer? Breeder? Gym leader?
Trainer->Master, lol.

24) Would you collect gym badges? Or keep Pokemon as pets?
Badges.

25) Who is your ultimate two-on-two team? Explain.
Never played a 2-vs-2, but I'd choose Mewtwo & Charizard or Gyarados since they're my heavier hitters.

School's starting to press in on spare time again so I'm setting a few extra-curricular goals for myself before summer and moving day hit:

1) finish up, or at least declare finished status on the 4-5 half-assed sketches in the gallery now
2) at least rough-sketch a handful of the ideas from the idea book, possible begin a themed set
3) clear out my paper file tubs
4) get a job secured for summer
5) study and do well in classes
6) clear out my favorites menu (it's getting into the 4-digits)
7) wipe drive and acquire external/portable for anime and movies
ONLY USE ENERGY DRINKS IF YOU WILL PHYSICALLY BE ACTIVE!
I tried downing one for a LAN party, big mistake. I forced myself into the game and didn't really move to much and my right arm is tritching like a bitch right now. Oh, I was awake, but I was too impartially awake to sleep when I finally could and that just made class today worse. My body experienced what I can only call Energy Drink Constapation (E.D.C.) in that I felt the need to do something but when I finally relented to it, it was almost sore and painful to do so. By the time I felt ready to lay down--classtime.

CAFFINE IS YOUR 'BURNING THE MIDNIGHT OIL' FRIEND!
True if you don't watch it you could end up reacting to the slightest event as Hammy the Squirrel (Over the Hedge), but it doesn't hurt near as bad as the E.D.C. and its much easier to alleviate. Merely lay in a semi-comfortable, horizontal position and sleep! Make sure you will be able to absorb the matress and sheets for 8+ hours if you've been going for a while on this one.

Lesson learned and stored in the back of my mind for future references.

[Shit-] Storm

Spring Break was over too quickly. And anyone who read my previous journal entry when I got home and saw it staring me in the face knows what I know now, a mere 10 hours 'til class in the morning: I still have yet to do it. Or sleep, shave, shower, etc. before the 8am monstrosity.

Even though we TOLD the teacher none of us planned on doing the ass-load of homework she assigned (Jesus woman, you as a college professor had the week off), but I have a sneaking suspiscion that a few pricks did it early on. Me, I work well (sometimes better) under pressure.

Let's review:
8am - Elementary Number Theory, 1 assignment, 10 problems.
...no problem, I can do this as soon as I log off...(he says, while still typing)

11am - Linear Algebra, 0 assignments.
...forget about it, just remember there's a test next week

4pm - Mathematical Pedogogy(?) a.k.a. "How To Teach Secondary Math", 10 assignments, 5+ problems each, 110 pages to read on Education Legality, 10 mini-sketches due from Mathematics Computer Lab.
...
...
...bitch
...
...
...
...This could be a while. Lucky for me college and life in general has taught me the value of not sleeping. And for being the shit-assignment this is, maybe I should goto class without showering...or shaving...
...
...maybe.

Let the countdown begin.

The more anime my buddies show me or that I find and watch online or on my own, the more convinced I am that this is a serious medium and should be seen as such. I have previously not felt this way, saw it more as a passing fancy or hobby, at best maybe an alternative way of showing a similar storyline from a movie or book.
With the limited showcase I've seen thus far makes we question my previous comprehension of animation. There have always been lines, or two main types of anime that I saw: 1) children's viewing and 2) adult viewing. The first one is self explanatory in that they cater to that specific demographic and can yeild shows appropriate for that age-level. The later however, always eludded me. I knew there were adult-styled animation even before I could comprehend it all. There is an internetafterall. But I saw that such a medium could be limited to certain aspects of a story and in honesty I did NOT expect them to be able to convey the gambit of emotions a live-action production is capable of. On top of that I beleived that the audiences would have little if any loyalty in commiting vast numbers of cast/characters to memory.
As one of my previous journals mentions, I consider myself a student of most mediums, book ans film being my favorites. As such, I am more than often intrigued when I hear of a movie adaptation. In truth I am rarely satisfied with them and are normally frustrated by their lack of honesty in translating mediums. So much is lost: monologues, emotions, rationalizations, even flashback references at times.
It is at this point I suggest a new company, troupe of artists unite for a good cause. Different stlyes, backgrounds, whatever. As mediums are melting pots for ideas, this company would be a melting pot of mediums. Whatever craft you choose could be explored in this enterprise. The chief object of this company would be to, along with whatever original ideas they decide to produce, to give as best as litteral translations of stories to film (anime in this respect but not necessarily solely). Good animes can go into hundred of episodes in various and multiple incarnations (prime examples being Dragonball Z and Gundam). As such it would be simplistic to break apart stories already subdivided into chapters and thus produce episodes. Arcs can be restricted to chapters as they provide easy references to gauge progress on. Obviously due to overlap, certain artistic liscese will be extended, but also kept in check.
Due to their popularity in multiple cultures and vast library on which to pull them from, I would suggest science fiction and fantasy as a probable place to start. Just to name a few: books like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Eragon; as well as the expanded universes of Star Wars, Star Trek, and Firefly could provide a plethora of possible series. Thus starting out with their own (two) distinct fan bases with which you could merge. From there the doors would open allowing other pursuits and genres.
This idea if emplimented, could also satisfy a significant portion of the fan-base who weren't satisfied by, say: Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, Harry Potter 4, Firefly's cancelation, the ending of Matrix Revolutions, etc.
If anyone of consequence does happen to read this I hope you take the time to actually consider this and not just dismiss it as a whem. Such an undertaking would of course be somewhat of a risk, but you also run the risk of limiting your own creativity in the products you sell.

I am NOT Catholic, nor am I even highly religious in any practicing way. However, I do have a few such friends (on both extremes) and it's become a tradition that I attempt to give up something for Lent. No real religious significance, just as a way of alleviating a need for something. Last year one of my d***-roommates convinced me to give up my sacred Dr. Pepper and all other 'dark' caffinated beverages. In a town where the water tastes like shit and offers few commodities in the cheap/tasty ballpark, I lasted a week. By then the caffine shakes had some people convinced I was lapsing into a sugar convulsion. This year I opted for something less harsh physically = swearing. Hense the astericks earlier. I shall attempt to go the entire Lent without verbally cursing another human being, object or abstract thought. I say physically only because I flipped my roommate off today after he insinuated my leg was hugged by a <2 year old girl in Wal-Mart today due to a resemblance with Santa Claus (second time this has happened; another journal, another time). So I lapsed already, this doesn't bode well...

48 hours. Sounds like a lot. It becomes even more when you include that bottom fourth of Friday, and even more so when you sneak in Monday morning before responsability has a chance to grip your throat with its merciless claws. No matter what you plan on doing, what you need to get done, sometimes life just doesn't work in your favor. This weekend was such a weekend. I have a LOT of homework including an essay (1 week late) and a semester project both due tomorrow and I'm even now still on the computer. We had a 31-hour long LAN party location changed once, but more or less continuous. Seriously, as much time as we can find to waste during the week, you'd theink there would be a handful or so during the weekend we could squeeze out something resembling productivity. And yet once more, they play my song.
Hope I can still work well under pressure...

Damn...
I have a fettish that I'm not proud of and is costing me money on at most a monthly basis and has the potential to be a weekly cost-consuming vaccum. I am a movie junkie plain and simple.
Being in college I have scant everything: social life, food, and especially cash. I have a part time job working for minimum wage max of 20 hrs/week. Basically I get $150 every two weeks. F'n ridiculious. Sadly when I first moved over here I had a LOT of time on my hands so I began working. That didn't fill up enough time so I signed up for Netflix. It orignally seemed like a good idea and fit perfectly. I had another roommate who made bi-weekly runs to Blockbuster and another who frequented Movie Gallery on the weekends. I got in the habit of watching movie after movie. It also didn't help that the ONLY form of entertainment in this or the next town over for minors were movie theatres. Not even a f'n bowling alley!
Well lately cost, and the fact that I'm trying to save up for 1) an apartment locally during summer; 2) a large portable hard drive; 3) attempting to go out with a girl in another town that is vastly out of my league...etc. I have henceforth opted to discontinue it and stick to TV, PC, Video Games, Books, and what pathetic little social graces I have left.
This isn't going to be easy...
Damn.

Well, I can finally officially claim that titloe as I have now broadened my horizons and repertoir. I have helped on multiple themes, designs, and decorations (including logos and t-shirts) for the educational organization KToT (Kindergarten Teachers of Texas). I designed a T-shirt for our State Beta Club Officer Election in high school (he got VP of the nation!). As well as solely pinning the most recent Alpha Phi Omega (co-ed, service fraternity) shirt design for my campus (should be posted within a week or so). And finally I created the entire logo for a local comedy club, which may or may not ever get off the ground (again, as soon as I can scrounge the time and graphic together in the same place and time). I also designed a football jersey design for a 'LION" team (my college), though due to the price of printings we opted for a t-shirt instead. Still avaliable if requested.

Current projects include...
* attempting to design t-shirt for Fall 2007 Alpha Phi Omega Rush.
* designing new Alpha Phi Omega wallpapers for new website unveiling.
* attempting to design t-shirt for local Society of Physics Students Chapter.
* attempting to gather various art projects I've done, catalog and post them (it WILL be a while, as they're in dozens of different locations and mediums).

If anybody has a commission, let me know the information, etc And I'll take a look at it. If anyone is interested, message me and I'll get on the ball finding examples of my work, otherwise please be patient...

Greeting to fellow artists and browsers. I'm relatively new to posting art on the net, but an old hand a sketching and doodling going back to elementary school and beyond. Never been a fan of too much abstract, so most of my pieces will have some content or focus, depending on the subject. That said, I'm slowly learning various programs on my computer. So to start with I may only be manipulating other pictures (i.e. creating wallpapers, etc) but I do plan on eventually releasing some finished projects of my own. A buddy of mine and I are also trying to put together a t-shirt designing business, so occassionally you may find one of them up here. Until then, don't expect much except raw sketches or wallpapers.

I'm a big fan of science fiction/fantasy/mythology so expect to see some of those. I am only recently getting involved with anime, though I still don't understand the varying techniques involved within each style. Artistically I prefer different sculpting, drawing, and computer editing terchniques.

Examples of art/entertainment I enjoy:
ANIME: Bleach, Gundam Wing, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc.
CARTOONS: Tom & Jerry, Loony Tunes, David the Gnome, etc.
COMICS: Sin City, Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, etc.
DISNEY: Aladdin, Robin Hood, Lion King, etc.
ECOMICS: Red vs Blue, Cyanide & Happiness, etc.
MOVIES: Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc.
NEWSPAPER COMICS: Dilbert, Bizarro, Non Sequintur, etc.
TELEVISION: Firefly/Serenity, 24, Psych, Keen Eddie, etc.
VIDEO GAMES: Prince of Persia, SSX3, Legend of Zelda, etc.
