Well this is a foist. I actually have some new art that I would like to upload, unfortunately I do not have a scanner anymore. Furthermore, I just can't justify the hundo on a new scanner at the moment--or near future.

Hmm, I suppose I'll figure something out.

I love to draw, unfortunatley I sketch out a quick picture and then move on, I never finish anything. I just can't enjoy inking or coloring, so all my drawings go unfinished. A long time ago, say 97, I dreamed of owning a computer and scanner and being able to 'finish' all my pictures. Now I have that stuff coming out of my ears, yet look at my pitiful gallery.

I'd love to know how many artists actually enjoy computer coloring. Not only do I find it tedious and boring, but it seems that all others complain about it as well. I think that all of art throughout its various stages should be enjoyable. If coloring is a chore, how can oneself make themselves do it.

I also wonder about the point of finished art. When I spend twenty hours laboring on trying to finish a completed work, it just feels that the time would be better spent overcoming my artistic deficiencies. Although the main reason most of us got involved in art was to be able to create those beautiful or just plain awesome works of art that we were bombarded with during our lives. So it appears that finished art is an inevitability, regardless of if we enjoy the whole process.

Also, my inspiration to write only comes when somewhat sloshed, sad.

P.S. Don't pay any attention to that preselected--written for you-- deviantart mood BS! I would actually like to choose complacent as hell, yet it isn't there. sad face Yet I am ignorantly happy because I am complacent .....

Well I am actually in an art class now and all my worries that I had about it being a bad decision have evaporated. I am truly enjoying it and know I am making great progress. I just wish that the damn paper wasn't so huge so that I could get some scans of my work up here. If I was able to post my work from school, that'd be great because that is the only art I am currently producing. I guess that I do not draw hardly at all right now because I am not sure what I am interested in drawing anymore.

Hi everyone.

I have been meaning to make a DeviantArt page for a long time now, just never really had the time. Most of the first items I will be putting up here are old, some very old, since I am just trying to get started and running.

I don't get around to finishing a lot of my art the way I would like. I usually get bored with it and move on to something new, or just don't have the time.

I recently had to sell my Wacom Intuos 3 tablet, and since coloring with a mouse is quite a chore, not to mention inaccurate, there won't be much colored art on here until I can acquire another one. Hopefully a Tablet PC.

Thanks for Looking.
