I've survived this whole college thing so far, and this place is totally gorgeous. I cannot wait to visit Canada!!! I might go with But idk.

Thanks everyone for liking my art work. I'm doing a lot, I'm just busy with other things.. I wanna do some snow inspired artwork, but my camera is broken so I need a new one.

Anyways, so this is the first day of Hanukkah, and Christmas is coming soon And then I get back to Buffalo for another amazing year. I really love it here. I wish some of my friends from back home could be here to experience it with me, but that is not the case.

After being betrayed by a so called best friend, I found myself branching out and discovering people whom have inspired me entirely. Like its so radical. They're practically my drug sometimes. I think sometimes you get yourself into a little shell with people you know well and keep others at a distant and don't get into their shells. But maybe sometimes you need to break those shells and open up to others and let them open up to you. I'm now sad that it took so long for this to happen and I'll be moving to New York soon and I won't get to spend more time with these amazing people.

Along with that, I discovered some amazing TV shows. I know, I'm such a TV and drama addict, but you have got to check these out. First, Cash Cab and Over Haulin' are my morning Starbucks. Then Dexter. Not Dexter's Lab, but the serial killer. Look it up and watch it. It does not disappoint. Then True Blood. I know I know, I swore I'd never do that pussy vampire shit but you know what? It is really a cool show. It's pornographic, gore filled CSI with southern accents (aka, my life? haha) But yeah. It's not that Twilight garbage. It's not even like "omg vampires". It's all about acceptance and overcoming discrimination and finding truth and justice and all that cliche stuff. I loved it. Also, Iron Chef (Japan). I forgot how awesome this show was.

Then our power went out and I forced myself to read this book I started a little while ago called The Pillars of the Earth and omg it is really amazing. If you're into..like.. good books, then check this stuff out.

FINALLY got around to my Watchmen review. I'm so bad at making myself actually write things. I'm like spastic and multi-track-minded so like I start writing it and then I'm like "omg this sounds lame, i think i'll work on my screenplay. oh hey I have art work to do. omg it's wednesday yay antm" and then I do homework. So I made myself write it. Have fun. I'm trying to really buckle down with this stuff. I'm getting pretty serious about criticing.

Okay my friend Ethan and I totally just raped Yahoo!Movies and I found like a ton of cool movies. Check it. So like there's Let the Right One In which is a movie about childhood love and vampires. Alien Trespass is hilarious looking. Bart got a Room is an amusing take on the teenage years. Gigantic looks sweet. Paris 36 makes me want to sing. And Earth made me tear up.

Uhm, yeah, finished my duck stamp. It was mailed off today. Gino and I are sorta..competing? And I'm doing language fair artwork. My amazing friend is like my only competition for that, but I'm gonna crush her (sorry baby. love yooou) Anyways. Yeah. That's all. You can catch me on Twitter and my blog.

In other news, my art is at the Scholastic Art Awards, and I'm terrified. I really hope I get a gold or silver key. One is enough, I mean I entered 8 pieces.. I really think my friends Gino and Aimee will take everything. They're amazing. Cole too. And the twins. But Gino's is the best I've seen all year. Check him out on DA. Go to my favourites and you'll see some work by razorcutstencil or something like that (I'm too lazy to look atm).

Other than that, I've been obsessed with my webcam and making videos. I like spend half the school week thinking of a good idea and scripting it out =/. Haha.

So my 18th birthday is closing in! It's Dec. 9. I'm pretty excited. I'm going to have a ton of people over to do crazy stuff. It's so weird. Like, I'm finally going to be an 'adult'. Maybe I can get hired >_>

I got accept into a college!! I mean, I knew I would get into it, but it was my first acceptance letter. I thought it was a rejection at first because it was a small envelope and theres that whole thing about getting large envelopes for acceptances. But I got accepted into the U of M. Now I need to find some money to go. I'm really hoping I get my Buffalo acceptance letter soon too. I'm really excited.

My right arm is injured. Badly. And I'm right handed. So, it really sucks. It's affecting my artwork. It's the radius, or the muscle around it. My mom is going to take me to the minor med this week and get it all checked out. Hopefully it's just a small muscle problem. Worse case scenario, it's a cracked joint and I'll need surgery.

First, my beautiful (actually, quite ugly) laptop Henry Jones, passed away last month. His motherboard died D;. So I finally got a new one, and I LOVE IT. His name is Oliver Tangelo, after the boy that helped me chose the perfect laptop for me. He has a webcam so I can make rants and stuff :] But it's been crazy hard transferring all of my files. But my new favourite person ever, Denis, has helped me. He even gave me CS3 and taught me to torrent.

Ok so, some Japanese exchange students were in Memphis a few months ago and they were all pretty cool. But this one weird one asked for my email so I was like, here, whatever. And then he emailed me and I was like ugg... because he was really lame. Then he started being really freaky and confessing his love and saying creepy things and sent me a yukata and stuff. Apparently, someone told him American girls were easy sluts or something. So I blocked him and I hope I never see that creep again. Ugggg.

Anyone that remembers me from when I was in 9th grade (3 whooole years ago, omg) probably remember that guy I feel for and he broke my little heart. Well, after Mason dumped me, that guy came back into my life again. Of course, I've been in love with him wince 9th grade, but I'd managed to suppress it and love someone else too, but as we became friends again, it all started over again.. Only he approached me first and was like "I'm so sorry I did that to you. I really want to be with you." And like a sucker I feel for it. But JK! He just broke my heart again. I don't want to go into the details too much. And now I'm so not over him and I just can't get over it. Blah. And I feel miserable because I've lost him twice.

Ok, college. Well I recently went to Portfolio Day at Memphis College of Art. MCA and Watkins (in Nashville) really liked my stuff. In fact, the Watkins lady said I could get a scholarship to the school easily. That made me happy, but I don't want to go to either school, though they want me. And MICA wants me too. But I'm not feeling the whole Art College thing. I really want to go to a University. I'm in love with University of Memphis and SUNY Buffalo. I think SUNY is my best bet because it's in a safer place. But I can get the most money from U of M atm. It's a tough choice. I finally got all of my stuff in to both and I am just awaiting my acceptance letters. I know I'll get accepted because of my grades and stuff.


Well, that's all I guess.

My scanner is not working right.

Tablet problems have made it harder to board my short films.

The problem is the program is dying because of the lack of funding. They blame the painters.
The women in charge are the most uneducated beasts I have ever seen. They tear apart all the workers art and destroy the person. I have never felt so personally victimized.
See, they have no money because no one will buy the art. No one will buy the art because the women in charge make everyone change everything and make it what THEY want.
One woman said that art isn't art unless it has all of this stuff that she just made up and just..ugg....

I'm on break at the moment. 3 months of laying around. Relief! I won't be traveling this summer. I wish I was. I really want to go to Comic Con in LA. My moms going to CA to see her family but they won't me go too.

I know why too. Poetry has no boundaries. You can describe things with one word. But stories are more complex, somewhat. I just have a hard time putting my idea into words. So anyone watching my lit account, all 2 of you...., I may end my story writting as I wrap up the last parts of Double.

As for art, well, nothing's really inspired me...except maybe the Bible. I am still working on my image of creation in my mind before trying to work on it.

As for my personal life:
I'm now a Junior in high school! Remember how nervous about 8th grade I was? Actually, I think that was before a majority of you joined DA and I still drew anime and yeah. Before your time. But I've come a long way.
I'm also applying for a job at Barnes and Noble. No reply yet... -___-"
I'm getting my driver's permit this week!... Just......stay off the roads....

Whatever. So! How has everyone been? Spring is here (but it feels like summer). Ew. The ground is covered in that pollen and my friend Oliver practically made love to the stuff and many pollen particles attacked me so now, my left eye is doing that buring, itchy allergy thing. But oh well. I'm out of ideas for art. I'm STILL working on the Lord of the Rings thing...finally started on Gandalf.
Also I have a picture of Mt Fuji I painted for the language fair. Too big for my crap scanner...might take a picture of it. I have some loverly pictures of the Spring flowers to post also. But whenever I hook up my camera, my computer doesn't reconize it. I think I need a driver for it or something... I don't know. It's a newer version of Nikon, if anyone can help.

Authorities then destroyed all of them, and realized that they were ads. They claimed that the device had all of the components of a bomb, except, the explosives. In other words, it was a black box with wires. Basically, it was an advanced LiteBright. -__-"

Basic Rules For Driving In Memphis
Rule #1-- Remember that the goal of every Memphis driver is to get there first, by whatever means necessary.
Rule #2-- Turn signals are just clues as to your next move in road battle, so never use them.
Rule #3-- Under no circumstances should you leave a safe distance between you and the car in front of you, no matter how fast you're going. If you do, the space will be filled in by somebody else, putting you in an even more dangerous situation.
Rule #4-- Large SUV drivers think they're immortal, especially if they have 4WD; challenge them because they are usually women and cave in easily.
Rule #5-- The faster you drive through a red light, the smaller the chance you have of getting hit.
Rules #6-- Never get in the way of a car that needs extensive bodywork. They might not have much to lose, but you do.
Rule #7-- Braking is to be done as hard and late as possible to insure that your ABS kicks in, giving a nice relaxing foot massage as the brake pedal pulsates.
Rule #8-- Construction signs tell you about road closures immediately after you pass the exit before the traffic begins to back up.
Rule #9-- The new electronic traffic warning system signs are not there to provide useful information, just to make Memphis look high-tech.
Rule #10-- Never pass on the left when you can pass on the right. It's a good way to scare people entering the highway.
Rule #11-- Speed limits are arbitrary figures, given only as suggestions and apparently not enforceable in the metro area during rush hour.

Rule #19-- When the light turns green, put the pedal to the metal; gas is cheap in Memphis, and this is a drag race isn't it?
Rule #20-- Seeking eye contact with another driver revokes your right of way.
Rules #21-- Never take a green light at face value. Always look right and left before proceeding. (See Rule #5)
Rule #22-- A right lane construction closure is just a game to see how many people can cut in line by passing you on the right as you sit in the left lane waiting for the same jerks to squeeze their way back in before hitting construction barrels.

More About Memphis
1. Downtown Memphis is composed entirely of one-way streets. The only way to get out of downtown Memphis is to turn around and start over when you reach Arkansas or Mississippi.

Personal life update:
Well I finally have gotten about completly over "that guy". I took him off my top friends on myspace and am keeping my head clear whenever I'm somewhere I could potentionally see him. Out of site, out of mind. And the Taiwanese drama 花樣少年少女 has given me something to dream about. (Ahhhh Quan and Xiu Yi are soooo cute *sqwweee*)!!! I've got another week before school...and I'm getting my hair cut again...well it's gonna be like Hebe's from S.H.E. And I reeeally need to see The Prestige again. I'm serious, that was one amazing movie. And I finally saw all of Hero today...I remember when Jing Jing was complaining about Chinese movies being so dramatic. Well, I like them like that. American movies usually pretty much suck. Asians know how to do it right.

Ok so, to all my friends, I love you guys and thanks for being there for me this past year.

If my YouTube pausing skills were good enough, I'd draw every BR death. Unforunatly, I'm not fast enough to capture the perfect frame. So, drawing Fumiyo getting knifed and Chigusa getting scarred was hard. But I found a lovely site with screen caps. Of course, not with the nice ones I'd managed to snap and draw of Fumiyo. But I found a lovely one where Mitsuko is slitting Megumi's throat with a sickle. I need practice. So there we go. xD.

Btw, I have icons (of YIM, LJ, forums, blah) of Chigusa and the scar scene, Megumi's throat spraying blood, and Fumiyo with the knife in her head.
Also one of the lovely Hirono Shizumizu in the tampon scene (that's what I've officially dubbed it).

So, Sunday was spent cleaning and everything until family got here. We discovered that Sky likes to chase laser pointers O__o. It was so weird. Anyways, then we ate and got presents. My presents = Lots of money. Good choice, people! And then they left and everyone kinda layed around.... I played some FFR and watched ANTM. Around 11 we were like "Oh. It's Christmas Eve.....lets get to bed, then." I fell asleep...but woke up to lights flashing outside. It stopped once I sat up and peeked out a bit through the curtains. Nothing was there. I tried to get back to sleep but it was too hot so I just tossed and turned and kinda fell asleep sometime around then. Around 7 my parents woke me up and I was all "Grr I'm sleeping" but when they said "Merry Christmas!" I remembered what day it was. So we went to the den and opened gifts. I got a printer thinger for my camera, and The Hobbit and War of the Worlds (both books) ad Final Fantasy 12 and my neighbors gave me a pretty necklace and my Aunt and Uncle gave me money and an umbrella. Well, that was once we got there. After opening gifts and eatting, we gave hte neighrbors grandkids gifts (and a plunger o___o) and then headed off to my Aunt and Uncles house in No Where Mississippi. Population of 20, probably all related to each other. It took a while to get there so I took my computer and we watche dmy brothers new movie, Brothers Grimm. At their house, I read Battle Royale and we watched A Christmas Story (shoot me! please! not that movie AGAIN!!!!!!). The foods were yummy. Then we came home, I watched more ANTM and played around and read...then went to sleep. That was my Christmas. xP

I was very amused by it. I want a pet dinosaur now!! Also, works there. I did not know that. Good thing I have the power to know who people are just from seeing them from the back O__o. Then we played a few rounds of DDR x3. And got ILoveEgg cell charms. But it won't fit on my phone, so I hooked it onto my camera x3. I got the fortune teller egg, and named her Madame Satomi. Hmm...in other news, I'm not feeling too artsy. You may not get some stuff here for a while........I have a vacation movie to make and stuff to read.....I'm so uninpiered....and I know whatever I draw is coming out gorey.....so much BR........................................
