Okay, folks. Here's the deal.

By now, you've heard that Scott Jarkoff, aka °jark, is now a FORMER Staff Member.

I'm not privy to the whys, wherefores, and whatever-the-hells are going on behind the scenes here. Don't ask me anything about that. I know probably just as much as you do.

DeviantArt, in my opinion, is becoming less about COMMUNITY and more about CORPORATION.

So what we need to do is bring back THE COMMUNITY.

Here's my suggestion.

On August 7th, DA turns five years old. Five years for a website like this should be a grand affair, one big event.

So don't submit anything on August 7th.

I'm talking a print, a deviation, a scrap...nothing.

Instead, just leave a comment. Visit a user's page and just say hi.

If someone wants to buy a subscription that day, I'm all in favor or it. It'll keep the servers going, and anything that keeps the hamster running is a good thing.

BUT...I think folks shouldn't buy any prints. No print subscriptions. That goes against the COMMUNITY theme for the day.

We want to put the COMMUNITY back into DA.

Sorry im just venting off soem anger and depression and trying to get my feelings out about how I feel..

Most of you probably dont know yet but last night, the 3rd Angela Ordenaux of Prairieville LA was killed bu her ex husband..

Angela was a dear friend, she helped my family when we needed it most, when my mom decided to move away form my dad becasue he woulodnt leave her alone, she couldnt find a house, Angela opened hers to us, and we gratefully accepted, a few monhtes passed and Mum found a house! RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!

We were all so happy, she was my moms best freind, they loved doing everythign together XD They even ruled over a BAr DART LEAGUE 2 years strait

As I said she was a dear freind Loved, and she will be missed..

Anyway her ex MUDERED her or at least thats my opinion and he did it front of her daughter who is 13..

He came to thier house and was bringign them to the bar for a dart game when he began hitting on her and cussing at her, after she had had anough she threatned him by yelling if you dont let go of me im jumping out of the car.. Obviously he didnt let go, so she opened the passenger side door, and as soon as she did he purposely swerved the car into an empty lane of traffic, and making Angela fall out of the truck, head first onto the street, she died form severe head injury..

God Bless you Angela and dont worry he WILL DIE for this he took someone form us that we loved dearly and for that he deserves death..

We love you Angela Rest in Peace..

and dont be afraid to stop by and visit some time ^^ Ill be nice hell if you wouldnt just be an "apparition" as experts say ID hug you to death AGAIN

Sorry guys Ill try to limit my vocabulary ._.

Its just im a Junior in high schoolt his year and Im supposed to order my senior ring this year, that way at then edn of the year I can go to my ring ceremony wiht the rest of my class mates and get my senior ring, onyl problem is last week I was absent when we had a meeting about the rings so I missed that and now today I find out that FRIDAY I have to have a $70 deposit ready and I dont even know what ring I want!

Plus even if I did I dont have $70 to deposit rigth now, and if I dont order my ring from the schools ring complany then I cant go to my ring dance, I cant go to my Ring ceremony I cant even get a senior class card, I feel like crap now ._. I ahve to order my senior ring form Jensons which isnt my schools ring complany so no ring ceremony for me ._.

Boy senior years gonna rock
