Well, not much new to report, I'm still drawing obsessively and during busy hours when I should really focus, but oh well, no matter. I'm working hard on psyching myself up to actually work on a manga I have planned, I just have to get over my laziness and general lack of ability.

So a short journal today, since it's Sunday, I have an early start tomorrow, I should get some more fanarts out there, since you guys seem to like them, I just need inspiration and motivation, otherwise I'd be cooking.

I won't be attending that for a different reason. I don't like to waste my money, since I make so little I need to hold on to it desperately.
Also my dad's birthday, which I guess I have to attend or something, who knows, right?

On art newz. I've been straining my delicate plushy brain to come up with at least three comics a day, Ellim comics to be exact. I'd like to thank an unspecified friend for supplying me with backgrounds to use, and I would like to thank you guys for not thinking I'm just some crazy idiot and un-watching me.
I plan to start making the sequel to 1,000, which awarded my 1,000 pageviews, and will probably do that at around 5,000 or something, if I get that high that is. I also have been reading a lot of manga and as such haven't *cough* made any of the manga I had planned on. I need to set myself some timetable or something so I don't lazy out of it.

Anyway, I'll figure out soon how to do more links to artists I like and artists I know, so you can see people who are much more skilled than me. So stay tuned.

Also, I'm planning to start churning out more Ellim comics, they're getting harder to write as I am running out of possible jokes I know, that and I aint been all too creative since the internet came along and Youtube stole up all my free time, but damn those monkeys are just too adorable.

I also plan on beginning a new Zelda fan-comic, and in this one I plan on sort of highlighting integral plot parts of the games and sort of relive them, since Zelda sits up there with Wolverine trivia and candy on the list of things I know too much about.

So don't start hating me because I'm lazy with the artz, what did you expect from the KING of SLOTHS? It is implied that I am as such, very lazy and enjoy the privilege. Also, I've been playing Sims 3 and I am a little underwhelmed, it's good and all, but there hasn't been many changes from Sims 2, the game feels more like an expansion pack than a new title, but what do I know? Will Wright has more money than God so who am I to judge, aye? Anyway, toodle-oo until my next journal post which will probably be in the year 2022 after I've successfully become wealthy from making a game about house-cats doing the laundry.

I found a spare moment in between kissing ladies and making millions of inexplicable money to make a few sketches, which I will submit as soon as I get them completed.

Also, May is going to be hectic, with Myer having their stock-take, I drew the short straw and will be responsible for the take of the stock. As such I will have to do that over a period of a few days, but I already know it's going to be an exhausting few days which will kill me, since mathematics has never really been my best attribute, but oh well.

Also, round three of the pvp is nearing it's due date and I have alot of drawing to catch up with on that front. The ideas are somewhat fresh and thick, but I'm having difficulties with the time management. So as I sit here at uni, having missed the special lecture which I will probably regret later, I can only say one last thing,

I've been working on my second part of a pvp tournament that one of my momentary boosts of egotistic confidence got me into. It's moving alot slower than I had hoped, since I'm going more epic than I really have before, with explosions and fireworks and the whole she-bang, and a fluid fight progression that makes physics seem like an outsider in this amusing little sequence.

I've gotten myself a temporary job to tie things over until I get that oh-so well paying job that I know is going to come at any point now. No, not really. I did, however get a temporary job, designing up a set of safety posters. That's right, an actual, professional class job, as a professional designer. And let's just say I'm not doing that shabbily. I have already designed the logo and have handed over almost 20 draft ideas, six of which are being looked at closely, and all of this on my 2nd day of work.

I finally got that damned art tablet I've been eyeing for over a month, and best of all, it works. I've begun trying to get used to the handling, it's a bit jarring not being able to look directly at both the art and pen at the same time, since I'm used to the old fashioned hand drawn style of artwork, but I'll get used to it, or my name isn't 'Captain Awesome of Sexytopia.'

All this fails to cover for the fact I haven't submitted anything for the longest possible time, but I did promise you guys I would start churning out artwork again, and Captain Awesome of Sexytopia doesn't go back on his promises. Oh, also... This will become a regular part of my posts...

Also, there have been very bad bushfires down in Victoria, near where alot of my family is, so I've more or less been trying to figure out exactly where the fires are, and worrying, of course, as I usually do.

I've also been trying to draw some Ellim comics again, I know no one really care about him but I do. It's been almost a year since anyone's shown that poor blue fluff-ball any interest, so I'd better give him some attention.

I still haven't got around to commissions, but with all the stuff I'm 'supposed' to be doing, I'll do it first thing...

I'll post some more of my junk as soon as it gets made, so until then, please don't get sick of waiting.

I have recently taken up this long abandoned interest in writing. I know what you're thinking, and no, it isn't smut... Mostly...

So I've been sitting at home neglecting the 5 billion artworks I've promised to people and have instead spent the time writing up absurd little short stories, most of which are my own pagan tales of things like the creation of the world etc. I find it amusing that already some of my (sigh) Christian friends have been quick to denounce my stories as evil, and against god and whatnot, but I think it's all in good fun. Not every story ever written is praise to god, if so, I would hate it as much as I'm currently hating Twilight.

Oh yes, didn't see that one coming, did you? Here's a point, vampire romance stories have been around forever, Twilight hasn't broken any new ground, apart from the stupid part where sunlight doesn't kill vampires, instead making them glitter-shine. Oh yes, that instills fear into the heart of mortals when a demonic monster glows in the light. Also, the 'red eye-gold eye' thing isn't original, it has been done several times in several stories (read 'Journal of El'Crest' I would be much more able to deal with it, however if it were not for two things.
a. Twilight is written exclusively for women, now that's just bad marketing strategies, basically halving the consumer market, and
b. Twilight is a fad, yes, take that all you friends of mine who say it's the best thing ever. It isn't, it's the new Pokemon or whatever, nothing more than a fad which will soon fade away.
(Also, Edward Cullen is a terrible... TERRIBLE vampire name)

(Don't take this personally Lia~Kitten, I still am willing to listen to your Twilight geek-out moments)

Getting that off my mind, I've also been playing Crysis lately, and I have to admit with a begrudging sigh, it is pretty F-ing awesome (notice the insinuated swearing). Sure, the story is not one hundred percent perfect, and it is hard to sympathise with characters wearing top of the line exo-suits while the enemy Koreans are stuck with old World war 2 guns and hilarious accents. Of course, the small group of exo-suit wearing Koreans are F-ing awesome, and I relish seeing them because it means time for me to throw away my top of the line assault rifle and fight hand to hand, with super magical strength powers turned on, of course.

Oh, right, art news... Nothing new, still haven't got around to sorting commissions out yet, but fear not because I'll get on it, since I appear to be lacking in funds anyway.
Apart from that, nothing new to report, I'll figure out more as I make it.

So, since I still haven't fully finalized the inner workings of the idea, I guess my first order of business would be to drum up some interest.

This situation is compounded by the fact I've realised I'm no kid anymore. Kids nowadays have no respect, when I was little, I was courteous to my elders, but now, kids act like they could 'take me on'. Also, I have trouble understanding the stupid slang they use now. OUR slang made sense, like saying 'w'ever' instead of 'whatever', 's'wot' instead of 'so what', or 'eh?' instead of 'excuse me, what did you say?' Kids have confused what slang is, and instead of taking syllables away from the word, they add more onto it, like 'no shizzle my nizzle', which apparantly means, 'no worries, mate'.

Also, what the hell are twelve year olds doing with mobile phones? What do they do in their day that is so taxing that they worry they may miss a call from someone, and who calls a twelve year old for anything? It's senseless. Stupid Kids!!!

Sometimes you get these creative bursts where everything is drawn so terribly easily, other time you sit at your desk with a pen and paper in hand for hours waiting for just a trickle of imaginative flair, only to realise it's suddenly three in the morning and you places to be in three hours, so all hope of creating stuff is gone. I love those days, unfortunately for me, they are all too common nowadays, and it doesn't help that I'm writing up 2000, the follow on from 1000 as I reach 2000 pageviews. I'm also writing Remnant, Witch, and helping a friend of mine with the artwork on a comic he's making, and let's not even ask when was the last time I made an Ellim comic strip. DON'T ASK!!!

Now that I'm getting slowly closer to the terrible 21, I'm realising I'm no longer just that oddball kid that kept stealing his neighbours' Inkwells. At least I can still look back at the various things I've made over the years and wish I was still that creative. *sob*. I still blame you, Rebecca.

It all started when I was four, and read my first ever comic. *drifts into memories*...

What? Oh, so guess what. I'm breaking comic layout design rules with some of my comics, most notably Remnant. There is a sort of rule that a page should hold no more than six individual panels, but many of mine are suddenly jumping to eight or nine panels. I know this doesn't sound like much, but when you try and put that on an A4 page, it becomes hell. Not the literal hell with the fire and the disco inferno, but a metaphoric hell with the sizng and the font resizing. Although I must admit from a complete design aspect, Remnant is really fun to do. Mostly because I'm not spending an hour per panel, Ican knock two pages out in an hour, while eating DORITOS and watching mindless TV.

Also, I'm scrambling to come up with idas for the Legend of Zelda, which aint that cool, 'cos that comic has carriedme. Oh, and yo'll notice now I'm actually getting off my arse and linking my comics, thanks alot for talking me into all the extra work, BEC!!! *evil music plays*
I SHALL HAVE MY REVENGE ON YE!!! Cartoonists say ye, right?

To complete things I handed in my final assessment today, and now that all has been said and done, I have completed yet another semester of uni.
That's good and all, but now it would appear as though I have a window of a month to regulate my sleeping patterns and get a job, the most important of the two. So I sent off a group of comics to respective newspaper editors, and wrote a letter which basically was me telling them my achievments and grovelling for a position. I got one letter back saying they don't make comics in their papers anymore (why?) and another, more respectful one which simply stated that they already had a cartoonist. I'm not complaining (mostly because I left links to this site in my letter) but it isn't helping me sleep any easier. Hopefully I will hear from the others and hopefully there will be some good news.

Anyway, to all of you who are waiting for me to post something. Yeah, I'm getting right on it. And to those of you who got my letter and are viewing this site as a scource of reference, I'm a really good employee

Ooh, double negative, don't answer that question, it's a trick.

However, this sudden concern about my level of stress has me alarmed, so therefore informing me that I am too stressed is not the best method of stress reduction, because I have been balancing on the string between normal and crazy for twenty years, and now it seems some medical school graduate is going to tell me that I'm nearing a nervous break? Ha, a laughable concept. I'm religious, so if someone pulls me up for talking to imaginary people, I'll just say I was talking to God (or Satan, depending on the mood of the conversation) believe me, catholics have been using that excuse for centuries.

Anyway, while I'm here, I might as well talk about art, as this does appear to be the most appropriate forum. I have completed a fully finished story outline for my Chibi Jedi comic saga 'Remnant', and will post the cover and first page within the week. Also, as you may have noticed, I've posted a few image tests for WITCH, which is now in black and white, and as such I am tweaking the appearence of everything. 1000 has hit a standstill for the time being, as assignments and whatnot are a bit pressing at the moment, and my Legend of Zelda spoof is also temporarily frozen. However do not fret, for I'm sure there are African kids who are begging they could wait for a (mildly) amusing comic strip, who needs food, right Jesus? Oh, really? Tell me more... Interesting, you deity with the peity (get the rhyme?)

Well, I'd better be heading off, the men in white coats are comming for me. So I'm going to burn off their faces with boiling oil. That will show them I'm not insane. Ha ha ha...*poor attempt at manic laughter*

Anyway. I have been working hard, but now my WITCH series is going to be made in black and white, which might have been better to know earlier, but oh well, I don't see any need to complain. I get more time to work on it, and I don't have to worry about textures anymore. Hoozah.

Well, I have very little to do, and alot of time to do it in... Ha, I wish.

I am sick of these assignments, they're set for IT students, and I am not an IT student. Multimedia is about designing, conceptualising and creating art, not coding and programme scripting.

Oh well, I guess complaining never got anyone anywhere, so I'll grit my teeth and work harder, and figure that this is not the best forum to air my grievances. Although it would be nice to find the right forum...

On to art news. I have started continuing my work on WITCH, much to my own delight, I have set out the first thirty pages in terms of frame size, style and content, now to just make it a reality.

1000, which is my personal favourite at the moment, even though I don't see how anyone who isn't me can understand it, will be temporarily postponed for a few days, but I will strive to finish it soon enough

Legend of Zelda, I am starting to run low on ideas, so may end up trying to go for a more random setup, but fear not, I will keep it going as long as possible

Remnants, the chibi jedi I am in the process of writing, will be set in between the events of episode 3 and episode 4, since there is a twenty year gap in between those movies. It will show the adventures of those jedi that sought refuge in a secret jedi sanctuary

Ellim, which is still my largest comic collection to date is about to hit 100 comics, and I'm struggling to think of something cool to make

So I do have a fair bit in the works right now, and will post them all as soon as possible. In the meantime, feel free to comment or critisice, and I'll respond as soon as possible.

I've begun working on yet another comic, bringing the official tally up to four. The main problem is that I have two assignments which are also really big. So my time on these comics is going to be very crazy for a while. The new comic I'm making is going to be a rather long short story concerning my chibi jedi. I think they're just too adorable. I'm also supposed to be working on the 8-Bit Wars animation, but will have to put that on hold while my copy of Star wars is missing.

The other comics I'm working on, Legend of Zelda, 1000, and WITCH are also probably going to feel the strain of my lack of time, and I still haven't thought of a good title for my jedi story, I was thinking something like 'Knights' (referring to the fact they are jedi knights) or just 'Jedi', I know it sounds lame but simple titles are always he best titles.

Anyway, I still have to think of improving the story I'm swishing around in my head right now, so I'll get back to you with the info.
Anyway, feel free to comment on my terrible artwork, or just leave a comment about anything and I'll try and get back to you. And remember you can comment anytime about anything, my door is always open, so get creative.

There is a strong and large difference between the two. IT-ers are the techies and Multimediers are the artists. But hey, at least I might graduate this year and get a degree which will not open any doors for me. Hoorah.

I should put more effort into my drawings, or finish my 'Witch' or '1000' comics, but no, I have to learn actionscript to create a functioning motion detective virtual mirror, or FMDVM for short.

Although all this work has somewhat damaged or disabled my other comics right now, but I ask for everyone to be a bit patient. I will have another episode of the legend of zelda out soon, I just have to finish it up. I also have a couple of others in the works, and still have to gt to work on the rest of 'Witch'. Which I should get to, as there is never as much time in the day as I think. However, I intend to continue to post new parts of 1000 daily, excluding weekends.

I guess that tunic wearing elf boy has a fan base which is larger than I hoped.
I'm also trying to create a comic for this Manga book which I made an add for. Look to the left of your screen I highly suggest anyone who has manga talent give it a shot, it's looking for local talent, so anyone who's looking for a foot in the door should give it a shot.
I am again replaying Ocarina of Time for the thousandth time in order to get more comic ideas, which I intend to do, or my name isn't what I think it is, which I think it still is.
Anyway, better jet, finding out stuff is harder than I thought, which I do occasionally.

I'm currently working on a mini-movie dedicated to the fallen soldiers of the 8-Bit Wars, which is really an excuse for me to display all my knowledge of the history of the 8-Bit Wars and the ensuing carnage that followed. I'm really pointing this out because I realised how to write it, and that is... The make it in the same style and as an ode to Star Wars. Now not many people would see the direct similarities between Star Wars and the 8-Bit Wars. But that's why my mother won't be getting those grandchildren she so desparately wants.

So time to discuss the valliant heros of the wars, you ask... I'm glad you did.
Games of the 8-Bit Wars were constantly trying to outdo each other, Sega and Nintendo brought this to a head when Sonic and Mario took the spotlight. Sega sacrificing the reigning Alex Kidd after the game which was released in the Sega Mega-Drive, 'Alex Kidd and he Enchanted Castle', which is argueably the worst Alex Kidd game ever created. Nintendo created Mario in the original Donkey Kong, and his original name was 'Jumpman' the carpenter. He was later brought to the states In Donkey KongJr (Sequel) and named Mario, the Italian Plumber. In the original Donkey Kong, you played as 'Jumpman', and Kong was the villian throwing barrels at you.

Now I know what you're thinking, and yes, I do enjoy big named brands at low low prices. Also, it is going to be rather difficult to film a movie centered around cartoon characters, so... I'm making it as a cartoon movie. Wooo.

I got bored during some classes and started drawing Ellim. For those people who aren't myself or Ellana H.(who isn't?) Ellim was our first project for web scripting last year, we made a little space game about a ship that was travelling through space avoiding brainstorm brains. It was pretty basic, and since Ellim wasn't shown, only his spaceship, I remodeled him. In a few of the images you can see small sections of his spaceship, its a remodel of a '52 Chevy Corvette, I'm told its a famous car.

I'll post some pictures of the car and that later in the week, I'm still working hard on making a comic, I've written out a story and it's pretty ambitious. It will have pirates and the like. Woot, I'm also throwing in some mystery to help myself convince... well, convince me to make more... yeah.

Well, I have lectures and such to skip, so I'll see you on the edge.

Also I'm home now, so now I have a bit more time before uni starts up again, and work is slacking up. I now have set up my room better, I live in Ascot now. I have been designing the characters more, and when I get back my pc and get a new scanner I'll show you all. MYAHAHAHAHAHA!

In life, I'm healthy, mum still talking to relatives and convo.ing about what my childrens names are going to be, apparantly one will be called Marianne (boy's name?) And yeah

I am going to my aunt's wedding tomorrow, and am in Melbourne Australia for those playing at home, until tuesday, then I get to go back home to my no internet house in queensland. I've decided to make a short comic adventure using Trez and some other characters I drew way back when (I have made them look better than they did, for those of you who think a comic with stick people is way too cool) I've done a page and a half and have realised I suck at drawing boats, ships and machines, damn, aye?
I'm here at my grandads, drawing away. Boring my family, and hearing my mum tell my relatives that she really really really really really really really really wants me to give her grandchildren. No pressure or anything, every 19 yr old single male should be thinking about having kids. Well, I'll try and keep up this AWESOME journal, and you can keep not reading it, I call that a strong friendship see ya on the edge.
