Well, let's get started. A lot of real characters with some bitchin' duds! It was pretty exciting to see the matches. I can't wait to see more of them!

Comments: Your entry was nicely action-packed! One thing I think you should work on though is try to loosen up you drawings. When I read your entry I felt rigid (yes it's possible) so try and make your lines rounder instead straight ones and give them a little freedom.


Comments: Some of things I think you should work on are: Make your drawings more defined. You entries had a very sketchy look, and lots of stray pencil lines from being rushed. Erasing those stray lines would improve the overall effect. My second suggestion would be to try and sketch in backgrounds, and give the readers a sense of setting. My last suggestion is to maybe type the dialogue rather than hand right it, or write slower if you are still having computer troubles. Your handwriting was a little hard to read at times DX. Overall, you had lots of potential and it would have been nice to see what you could come up with in ideal conditions .


Comments: For you, I think you should work on anatomical proportion. I see a lot of potential, and I'd like to see you achieve that ^ ^. One thing I want to recommend though, is to use multiple fonts in your comics and such. There's a bunch of sites you can go to to download free fonts, and you could make good use of them for sound effects and such.


Comments: I liked that you made a really good use of the space on your paper. One thing you could try, but this is just a suggestion is maybe using some shading to define colors.

I realized the one thing I truly wanted for Christmas, I won't be able to have even with the well wishes and possibly help of others...so I made a quick list of other things that would be nice too I guess? xD;;

Step One
- Make a post containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. Question: What is Smeepism?
Answer: Smeepism is anything! I'm not even completely sure what it is. I'm not a super genius, and I don't know everything so I can't honestly tell you. However, one of the more basic uses is my religion! Why? I could never find a religion that satisfied my desires for values. The one thing I want to achieve during my life is happiness, and I realize that what makes me happy differs greatly from what will make someone else happy . So I made one up! Smeepism isn't a set list of ways to live your life, because you make up your own goals and aspirations and junk like that yourself! Instead of defining people as a whole, it allows freedom for each individual and promotes each person to think about what values are most important to achieve happiness (though if someone decides to cheat, steal, take advantage of people, blah blah blah, it's their own problem. It would be unfortunate for someone to value those kinds of behaviors, but I don't doubt that some idiot does ) So because of it's creation I made a t-shirt! *tries to convert you all* XD;; In all honesty though, if you want one, you're more than welcome to buy one, but I won't push it on anyone. I rarely like to cover the topic of religion because I discovered the hard way that people tend to get offended, and I don't want to offend anyone. However, you have to realize that I have the freedom of my own opinions just as much as you do. I've had problems with my grandparents trying to push Christianity on me and I didn't appreciate it. When it comes down to it, live your life the way you want, and I'll do the same. BUT FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO DIDN'T HAAAVE A RELIGION, HERE YOU GO LOLOL

So far, I've only watched 2 full anime series, read 2 full manga series, and have beaten none of my desired games (pitiful performance, but oh well)
But for the one's I've seen but not finished, they're so AWESOME *lots of fangirling* So I'm gonna talk about some of them!!! ^ ^

Anime
Lucky Star
LMAO, This series is great, just the random conversations that seem to have absolutely no meaning are delightfully charming.
The opening song is addicting and kicks ass to X3. Each character has something that attracts you towards them, even the
one's that aren't part of the show (Like Akira, for example XD)
For those of you who don't know about the series-
Plot Summary: Portrays the lives of several school girls attending a Japanese high school with a very loose humor tone. The main heroine is Konata Izumi, an athletic and intelligent girl who, despite these attributes, is not in a sports club, and her grades remain low. Her laziness at school is due to her love for anime and video games, and is not interested in much else. The serialization began with the four main characters in their first year of high school: Konata Izumi, Kagami Hiiragi, Tsukasa Hiiragi, and Miyuki Takara. As the story progresses, they move onto their second and third year.
A nice choice to kill time with ;D

Brave Story
OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOOOOD, It's actually an Animated Movie, but hey, same difference *shrug* . 11 out of 13 Parts
of the movie are currently on YouTube, which kills me not to have seen the conclusion yet, but this movie is so GREAT. For those of you who don't know anything about Brave Story-
Plot Summary: When 10 year old Wataru's father leaves home and his mother is taken ill to hospital, he decides to change his fate by traveling through the door shown to him by his friend Mitsuru. In a land of magic and monsters, Wataru must summon all his courage and embark on a journey with several comrades to meet the Goddess of Destiny and change this "mistaken fate".
While it's hard to tell with YouTube quality, the graphics look really AMAZING, and the story itself is really interesting. This is coming from someone who's had no prior knowledge of the novel or manga series and just watched the movie earlier this evening too ;b. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a movie to watch

Hot Gimmick
OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH I FREAKING LOVE AND HATE THIS MANGA WITH A PASSION LOLOL.
And I can explain why. This manga is so great, it's got the best kind of romance I like to read about, a hate/hate relationship. And the freaky thing about the whole thing is, I dunno if this has ever happened to anyone else before, but my god, when I was reading the first few volumes, I was bouncing all over the place, giggling, rolling around in the fetal position and basically spazzing out. All because I was fangirling over the manga WHILE reading it.
I swear, looking back on it, I'm surprised my heart didn't explode.
Summary for those who are interested-
Plot Summary: Hatsumi is just a regular girl, living in your regular company apartment complex, with your regular neighbors, but when her sister asks her to go buy a pregnancy test, everything gets out of hand. Afraid for her family’s reputation, Hatsumi gets black mailed into becoming the neighborhood bully’s slave. Then Hatsumi’s childhood crush moves back into the neighborhood, and it seems that all the guys in the neighborhood are out to get with her. It’s neighbors in love, and it’s scandalous.
So, I feel if you read Shoujo manga, this is a MUST READ.

Now, to shift gears to Novels, OMG, IF I AM REACHING ANY ARTEMIS FOWL FANS, DID YOU HEAR ABOUT
THE PLANS TO MAKE A MOVIE OR HAVE I JUST BEEN SITTING UNDER A ROCK?!!!
I read a few articles on the Artemis Fowl official site, and in Eoin Colfer's blog about actual confirmation of a movie.

I haven't gotten to reading any of his other novels, but the Abhorsen trilogy is my favorite set of books ever, with the Artemis Fowl series second, and Harry Potter following :3.

Do two hundred pictures each with one of the themes I have written below. While the original challenge discourages you from combining multiple themes into one picture, It is allowed now because 200 themes are a lot of ground to cover, and I realize that XD. Although, doing 200 individual pictures would give you a sense of accomplishment once you've finished :3. Do only the themes listed below, do not change the words because it ruins the nature of the project
There is no time limit but because of that you are expect to finished or finalize EVERY picture. This challenge is made to help build artistic skill so don't upload unfinished scribbles.
The main picture should be drawn but not limited to just that, use any medium you want to create your master pieces.
Themed pictures can be used for trades, requests, gifts and ect.
The list of themes should be placed somewhere in your journal so that other artist can see that you are participating in the challenge and so they can see how much you have completed. Don't forget to link back to this journal so others can do it. Also make sure to tell me that you're doing this so that I can add you to the participants list.
Make sure to update this list and check off what is done and make a link to the finished picture
The title of the work should share the same name as the theme for it or at least stated in the description. Be sure to note in the description that the picture is for the challenge.
You don't have to do them all in order.
