I'm spending quite a bit of time helping design the new NaruSaku boards - and I'm the one tackling the skin! It's going to be a lot of work but it should be worth it.

I'm currently working on two fics - Spirit of Fire: Volume One (remade SoF with hopefully better story), and Dare to Hope; a NaruSaku one-shot set right after the latest manga arc (the Gaara arc as I type this).

There is one NaruSaku fanart coming up, it was inspired by an idea I had when I was thinking about how their relationship is summed up. ^_^ They're a pretty spontaneous and unpredictable couple, so that called for fanart that hopefully captures the never-know-what-happens-next thing!

So much stuff to do, never enough hours in the day...

I've been extremely busy finishing my Web Design course, and I hope to graduate soon! Now that's out of the way, I'm working hard on requests and stories I started ages ago but got sidetracked by life and other demands.

Right now, I'm working on:

3 Fictions:

Spirit of Fire: Remastered.

My existing Naruto "epic". I stopped writing on this a few months ago, but I now have the drive and inspiration back again. I will be giving the old chapters an overhaul, correcting errors and changing bits/characterisations I didn't like. Then I plan to add two brand-spanking-new chapters onto the end! I have had so many good reviews for this fic, and I am very thankful.

The old version will stay up for a while, it will just have an Author's Note pointing people towards the new one - then it might get deleted after a few months. The new version will of course carry on the story at a regular basis! I just wanted to sort a few messy bits out before continuing with new chapters.

Out of Order.

New Fic. This one will have mature themes and be more of a romantic comedy. Again, it's set in the Naruto universe, and it will centre on Naruto and Sakura. They will both be 18 years old. I wanted to set this just after the Akatsuki arc, and 17 felt too soon for the developments I wanted inbetween that and the story's settings. The title is because I wanted to develop the Naruto/Sakura relationship in unusual ways rather than the usual A-B-C of relationships.

"Uzumaki Naruto is having one of the best days of his life. He's just finished a hard solo mission and has finally been promoted to Jounin! He walks towards Ichiraku, daydreaming about telling/boasting to Sakura about his promotion.

All of a sudden, Naruto's great day becomes one of his worst..."

Plot? What Plot?

A new series of Naruto drabbles. They'll cover whatever I feel like covering.

Current Projects:

NaruSaku fiction for Soritia:
95% Complete. A tribute to her rain painting. Longest one-shot I have ever done. Just adding polish. ^_^

Manga for Blayze:
15% Complete. This is a manga for one of his RPG parodies, and will be a big project considering the amount of pictures I need to draw AND put together in a layout! All concept sketches done, first page done. I wish I had Kishimoto's skill.

Picture for Yoko:
20% Complete. Moving into the lineart for the final piece. ^_^ It'll then be corrected, cleaned up then inked and coloured.

Spirit of Fire - Chapter 8:
65% Complete. I rewrote it. Sorry! I felt some of it was going a little too fast in terms of character relationships. But the bulk of the old chapter is still intact, and I just need to keep going. ^_^ If the Naruto manga does take a break for a while, then expect to see me work on this story a lot more.

Well, this has clearly helped me organise things in priority. I will finish the quickest jobs first, then mop up the rest before undertaking ANY new projects!

Well, first things first. I updated my fic a few days ago with Chapter 7. It's a Naruto fanfiction that continues on from the moment Naruto and Sasuke faced each other at the waterfall. So, if you haven't gone that far in the story yet, be warned of spoilers! There will be EVENTUAL pairings. I stress EVENTUAL because there will be buildup before anything happens.

I hope to complete 8 today, then send it off to my beloved critics, SharinganK and Aethos! After THAT is done, I'm going to finally do plenty of drawing. ^_^ I've started to construct my own lightbox so I can make squeaky clean pencil drawings from scribbles. £150 for a professional lightbox when you can make a decent DIY one for far less?

I just hope I can get a picture done in time for Naruto's birthday this Sunday! Today is my last free day before that... so I should get a move on. Yeah.

I am currently working away on the latest two chapters for my fiction "Spirit of Fire", which I may post up here in its entireity. I had been struggling with 7, unsure why it didn't seem to be working well.

Then it clicked. It was the pacing of the scenes. Some scenes just went on for far too long, so I changed their order around a bit and as a result it's looking snappier so far!

I have also been working on two pictures, which I will post up here. One is a Sasuke parody request, and the other is a Kakashi picture that popped into my head. It'll be titled "Boo". It's my first try at drawing a fisheye lens view as well.

The Sasuke parody is taking much longer to colour than I thought, but I just have to remember to be patient. It IS going well so far, and I'm on a steep learning curve with Painter 8! I should try some quick scraps sometime and experiment with the various paints, find what I like.

Well, back to SoF! I hope I can finish 7 tonight at least so that my poor hungry beta-readers can have something to get their teeth into. (Thanks once again, Ash and Aethos - you two rock!)
