I’VE FINISHED EVERYTHING FOR INTEL!!!!!!!!!!!! MY PAPER IS GOING TO INTEL!!!!!!! AKLDJFALKDFJALKDFJALKFDJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111




OK, I am the happiest person alive right now. Seriously. I’ve been working on Intel for more than a year (since October). And, well, I usually never write about mentorship, so I thought I’d dedicate my journal to my experience starting from mentorship up until now

At the beginning of my junior year in high school, I began to search for my mentor. My mom told me about this medical center where I could potentially find someone who’s research I was interested in. In the pathology department, I found my mentor (we’ll call him Dr. H so as not to reveal names). I sent him an email asking if he would be kind enough to teach me about what he studies and supply me with a potential project I could enter into Intel next year. He replied back telling me to give him a call.

I was soooo nervous, you have no idea. I called him during science research class (with my teacher Ms. Cooper right next to me as I began to panic) and he set up a date to meet up. When I first met him I was late xD But he didn’t really care, which was awesome (b/c I felt like a total idiot). I thought I was going to go through a whole “interview” process, but it turns out that all he said was, “So, when can you start?”

I began coming to him every Thursday for 2 hours so he could teach me all about what he does. I got homework from him, though >_> But that was fine xD He would give me a paper to read every week and the next time I saw him we would discuss it. The first paper he gave me I could not understand at all. It was called Long-Term Memory Requires PolyADP-ribosylation (I was like o_O). But he explained it, and explained it well.

He would give me a new paper every week, and I would always have sooo much trouble understanding them. Sometimes I still wouldn’t understand what he gave me, but I always managed to get the main gist of it. To help myself, sometimes I would try to summarize what I read. It sort of helped –coughnotreallycough-

A few months in, Dr. H began to ask me to explain what I read. I never managed to do it xD And I was always so scared. I would stay up the night before till 1 to 2 am trying to understand the papers >< I would highlight what I thought was important, blah blah blah~

By around February, I had finally gotten my ID to officially start working at the medical center (the process was so long and boring, I won’t give u the details. Just know that I had to sit through a 3-4 hour lecture and then run around the entire campus from, like, 12 to 4 just trying to get my picture taken for my ID).

I began to learn different techniques and how to use equipment and stuff. The first day of experimenting, I spilled isopropyl alcohol on my work station 8D I was so embarrassed and ashamed xD But this work station I spilled isopropanol became my work station for the rest of my mentorship ^^ (good thing I spilled there, my work station has more space than everyone else’s xD)

While working for Dr. H, I met this really amazing guy. He became my lab partner and we instantly clicked. He’s just so friendly and easy to bug and tease xD We became instant friends although we only saw each other two or three times from February to June

So, I learned the techniques. It took me from February to June, but I learned them! Dr. H was really impressed with me because I’m really good handling a pipette xD He also didn’t need to teach me dilutions (he went on and on and on about it xDD I could calculate them in five seconds and he would be like “ WHAT?”

Finally Dr. H and I began to discuss possible projects. I really wanted to work with rRNA and protein synthesis. My lab partner (let’s call him Mob) then got to study degradation machinery (which I didn’t want to do b/c I didn’t like learning it too much)

I had no idea I haven't updated in so long, so let me just fill you guys in on my summer so far~

I'm currently working at a medical center for a science experiment for Intel. Now, I don't want to go blabbing about the experiment here (b/c another scientist might steal it <_< >_> ) but it's been pretty tough
My hours are 10-5, pretty much. It's like, I go in there and immediately start working with various chemicals doing techniques, such as RNA purification, Reverse Transcription, agarose gels for electrophoresis, PCR, etc. etc. I think my pipetting skillz have gone down the drain b/c I just worked about 1 1/2 weeks on this one thing, only to have the results completely BLOW UP in my face >_> Yes, I am sad, but hopefully I can repeat the experiment and I won't do a double digestion RNA purification -nods-

Now that I've bored you all to tears (i'm sorry, had to rant!) I'll tell you about my more interesting obsession over a little something called HETALIA xD

Thanks to ~crimsonobsidianrose, I have become majorly obsessed with the manga/anime. Honestly, I've been doing nothing but looking up videos, reading fanfiction, and looking at fanart (cuz we all know i can't draw it xD) I used to be obsessed with Death Note, and I still am, but Hetalia has made it's way into my heart as well :3

I think that's honestly all I really had to say xD I miss all my buddies from school, so shout outs to all of you! And btw, for those people who go to my school, remember, ~niki-uchiha and I are trying to found the Film Festival Club, so if you're interested (and like Mr. Yellin, who will be the advisor if we get passed) please tell us! :3 And if you want to join the Knitting Club, you can just ask me 8D (coughPresidentcough)

I have a question. What kind of non-english music do you listen to? I've gotten obsessed recently with German music for some reason xD (i'm not even german...seriously, I should probably listen to spanish music since my mom is Puerto Rican, or Russian music since my dad is 1/8 russian...don't ask about the other 7/8s, I have no idea xD) I was hoping I could be introduced to whole new worlds of music this summer ^^

And for those of you who don't live in America, lol, well, you might be kind of lost in this journal XD Also, no hate comments plz. I'm just voicing my opinions, and I don't feel like political debates b/c my school has this whole, "Election Simulation" thingy, and we've been discussing politics for five weeks now...I am tired XD

For the past two years, America has been going through election processes to see who would become our next President. Finally, it was between republican senator John McCain with Sarah Palin as his VP and democrat senator Barrack Obama with Joe Biden as his VP.

I was a supporter of Ron Paul (who nobody knows), but he dropped out as the republican candidate XD oh wellz...

Anywayz, last night, on November 4th, we finally voted (well, I didn't, but the rest of the American citizens who can vote did) and we chose Barrack Obama to be our next President!!!!!!! (i'm just glad Bush is out of office, lol)

Well, whether or not you dislike the results, either way, each candidate would have made history. If McCain won, he would have been the oldest elected offical into the Executive Office, at age 72. Sarah Palin would have been the first woman VP. But Obama won, and he is the first African American man to be elected as President. At first, I didn't even realize this, but then the news channel i was watching was like, "Finally! An African American President! "

And then I realized what a break through America made as a nation. We disregarded race and voted based on political views. (well, most people did. some people are still racist. I'm not saying that if you voted for McCain that your racist since that would be completely untrue and quite a rude remark. I'm saying that there are still people out there who didn't vote for Obama because of his race)

So then, after I realized this break through in American history, I realized...I had just WITNESSED history right before my eyes. And i was just so excited! So far, I've been in a generation that's lived through two major things: the attacks on September 11th and our first African American President.

Anywayz, I continued to watch McCain and Obama's speeches till about 1 am. Everytime Obama would mention McCain, like, "He was a formidable opponent and a man that deserves great respect", the crowd cheered. But when McCain would mention Obama, like, "He was a great opponent to face and we must all unite as Americans to help him rebuild our nation", the crowd booed.

Srsly, I'm very angry they did that. However, part of McCain's campaign was trying to smear Obama's reputation. (Palin claimed Obama was associated with terrorists. However, this "claim" was actually the fact that Obama used to know this guy that was associated with bombings...and this is when Obama was 8 years old....and didn't even know this guy all too much...)

Well, that's all I really had to say. I know my Uncle is pissed becuz he wanted McCain to win. Like, really badly. My uncle even supports President Bush o_O (not that he isn't a good president...from a...well, a certain perspective, I suppose)

Thank you to all who voted, whether you voted McCain, Obama, or one of the guys from the Socialist, Indpendent, or Green House parties (I don't remember the rest). Remember, we're in America, and we've been given the privelege to vote for who we want to represent us! Don't let the people who fought for these rights have fought for nothing! Always, always, ALWAYS vote!!! I can't wait for the day when I can voice my opinion.

*ahem*

I GOT A MENTORSHIP WITH A PROFESSOR WITH A PhD AT A UNIVERSITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is MAJOR for me. You see, in high school, I'm taking junior year science research. I've already taken sophomore year, which is basically just learning different techniques, like streaking agar plates, working and transferring bacteria, building bridges made out of popsicle sticks and dental floss (yeah, mine didn't turn out so well XD)

ANYWAYZ

I got a mentorship with this professor. He studies synaptic plasticity, which basically deals with a synapse between two neurons and how increasing or decreasing its size by the use of the PARP1 enzyme will effect long term memory.

If you just got all that without doing the research I did, you are a genius

SO, I'm SUPER excited now! You see, for the next half a year, I'll be studying this topic and learning techniques on how to perform certain, specific techniques. :3

THEN, I'll start my very own individual project. If it all goes well, I can enter many different prestigious science fairs, such as NYCSEF and INTEL!!!!!!!!

Science is totally my calling (and death note cosplaying...death note cosplaying is my calling too). I was just so excited that I had to tell everyone

In other news, I'm taking JAPANESE!!!!!!! It's SO MUCH FUN! And now I can use Japanese terms correctly, so people can't say "U shouldn't uze terms liek 'kawaii' cuz ur not Japaneze" and I can be like, "Oh yeah?! Well...DENWA BANGO WA NAN DESUKA????"

...ok, that means "what's your phone number", but whatever XD

Um...I've been sleeping! And, uh, I've been hanging out with for most of the summer (we both kinda have nothing to do). It's freaking me out, actually, that I have absolutely nothing to do besides try and find a mentor for science research class o_O

But you know what else I've done? I'VE READ BREAKING DAWN! And there shall be spoilers in my upcoming words, so YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...oh, and it might be boring, so u can skip it if u want to XD



Ok, so, b4 I read the book, I had one person and one person only in my mind...JACOB BLACK.

It was my wish that he would finally IMPRINT and be happy :3

So, I gathered two of my friends, and , to go to barnes&noble to get the book at midnight. When we got there, however, there were so many people with this tag that said TEAM EDWARD. Ok, so we approached the front desk and they were like, "What team are you on?" and my friends and I were like, "Team Jacob!"

And then the girls that asked us went XD

I do like edward, but I LOVE Jacob! Well, anywayz, we got tags that said team jacob, but there were so many team edwards! in all, i saw five other team jacobs and about a hundred team edwards. oh, and there was one team switzerland! XD

Ok, so once i got the book, i began to read it obsessively. And now, i have finally finished it

...you know how in fanfics some characters are OOC (out of character)? Well, the characters in breaking dawn were fine, but the PLOT was OOC o_O

I LOVED the book, A LOT, but so much happened, my head started to spin! Well, anyways, i do like Nessie, but she was completely unexpected. And then when jacob imprinted it was a mixture of FINALLY and ZOMGWTH??

But i'm so glad jacob imprinted! and now edward likes jacob (as a brother...or son-in-law soon...yeah, i'm still not used to the idea)

I still love jacob like there's no tomorrow, and he became friends with the cullens! he even saved them, so now all of those jacob haterz will have to BOW AND KISS OUR FEET cuz jacob DID save them from the pack of wolves

btw, i don't mind if u hate jacob (i can't see how though XD), but plz, keep ur comments to urself! immediately after reading the book, i went to deviantart to look up some breaking dawn pictures. i couldn't believe how many "I hate jacob" icons there were! why people??? don't spread the hate, spread the love! if u don't like jacob, don't make deviations saying, "Zomg, jacob must die cuz he, like, kissed bella, and omg, now he likes nessie, PEDOPHILE, i could care less about all the jacob lovers, they could die too cuz i'm a moron blah blah blah" he's not a pedophile, ok guys???

i was also sad in the book when bella yelled at jacob for imprinting on her daughter (like he could control it). jacob never gets a break, does he? but when bella decided to have jacob take care of renesmee should anything happen to both herself and edward, i had tears in my eyes!

6. i can knit and crochet! they are my most favorite hobbies in the WORLD. i know the people who know me in real life already know this (lol. run on sentence) but i think that knitting and crocheting is really unique! i've made hats, scarves, a pillow, a blanket (which looks so awesome :3), bracelets, ponchos, cell phone holders, headbands, bags, doilies (fear meh power 4 the awesome DOILIES!), flowers, etc....:3

Well, my AP World AP Exam is OVER!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

omg, all that studying i did...TT_TT
I studied for about 8 to 10 HOURS...o_O my mind was fried after the exam and i think i've forgotten everything XD *global regents, here i come!*

OH. lol. this is funny. while and i were at the theater, all of a sudden, the screen went blank! i was FREAKING OUT because L had just shown up and he's my favorite character (along with mello, matt, and near) and everything. but the sound was still on! and THEN, when they got the picture back, the SOUND went out!!! XD LOL. seriously, it was like a gathering of death note fans that banned together to yell at the people to put the picture and sound back! LOL :3

as for the second movie...LE GASP! i saw the japanese version (with english subs) on youtube, and it was just...WHOA. i stayed up till 2 am watching it XD

um...that's it. that's pretty much my whole life...oh, everyone, go see the Pork and Beans video by the band Weezer cuz it's awesome and i saw it about 20 times already XD

Okay, this is about a character from the book called Jacob Black.
why, why, WHY does EVERYONE hate him???????????!!!!!!!!! he is the absolute NICEST, FUNNIEST guy in the book! and his heart was torn into PIECES! yet everyone is like, "Well, he kissed Bella." um, HELLO?! he's IN LOVE WITH HER!! and he thought she was responding to the first kiss! it's not his fault he can't feel her pushing him! and she kissed him VOLUNTARILY back in the woods!!

may i remind you that she is in love with him?! i don't support the pairing, but i love jacob so much! he's so nice and honest and good looking, too! and yet everyone is like, "Jacob sucks." i understand if you prefer edward, but please, isn't this a bit much?? to HATE jacob?! the guy who saved bella??? and she played him like a fool, and she knows it! that's why she was crying!! SO WAS I!!!! well, no, i couldn't cry because my family was there, but i was about to burst into tears and my parents were like, "Are you alright?" lol

so, i open the bag, and julia, (nicole), and I started eating the chips.
Then, Julia looked in the bag, and low and behold, there was a foreign substance within its contents! by that time, i felt nauseous, because not only was the substance multicolored, it was squishy. O_o
Julia poked it, and it split into three pieces. anyways, i took it home, and my dad called up the pringle company, and they were like, "Thank you for telling this to us." i don't even think i got a free coupon for my trauma. LOL. oh well.

anyways, i've been pretty stressed lately. i have SO MUCH severe lack of sleep...again...and it's only the beginning of the new semester!!!!!! O_o

i got stuck with practically all hard teachers with a few exceptions...and the teachers that were once easy turned hard for some bizarre reason. i think it's everyone gang up on me semester. *sigh*

so lately, i've been obssessed with fanfics featuring these four, especially ones with mello and near. i just love it when they're little and act like bickering brothers!!!! but there is too much yaoi between them...<_<

i really don't like the yaoi fics...sorry, but i can only picture them as friends! i like fics where it's near's first day at wammy's, and mello is all "who's THAT?" and treats him a little mean, but then mello feels guilty and gives him a piece of his chocolate! :3

...okay, so a fic like that doesn't actually exist...but if it did, i would favorite it immediately!!!!!!!!!

I, however, and along with many friends, have severe lack of sleep. some of my friends (Sadia and Audriana) have even done all nighters.

It just so happens that I have recently had lack of sleep, since I stayed up till 4:39 IN THE FREAKIN' MORNING LAST NIGHT AND WOKE UP AT 7:00!!! That equals to about 2 1/2 hours of sleep!!! O_O (jeff, don't tell mom...<_< )

Now then, you may be wondering, "WHY THE HECK DID YOU GO TO BED AT 4:39???!!!" There is a simple answer: HOMEWORK

Nicole called me and told me that our english teacher assigned a reading assignment...AN ENTIRE BOOK WITH A LIST OF QUESTIONS. Now then, I read about one third of the book, and I answered about 1/3 of the questions, because I thought that was our assignment. According to Nicole and Izzy, it wasn't. so then, I started at 9:00 and finished my english hw at 1:00 am. Then, I checked my email, and I had SPANISH HW. THREE ENTIRE COMPLICATED WORKSHEETS!!! I looked at them and was like, "Am I still taking Spanish class? Or is this French or something?" HONESTLY. That took another hour. Okay, so now it's 2 am. I checked my agenda, and it read MATH HW. *groan* But that usually only takes me about 15 minutes...until today. You want to know why? Well, my teacher gave us homework on STUFF SHE DIDN'T TEACH US!!!!!!! >< That took another hour. Now it's 3 am. By that time, I was saying (in my head), "Screw this. I'm going to wake up dead tired tomorrow, I might as well hang out on the internet." So I read Death Note for about a half an hour. Finally, I remembered my ENGLISH SEMINAR, which is a final for my class...*shiver*
Now then, my english teacher is crazy. So, I studied up on Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities for another hour. Then I had a snack because I was hungry. Then, I went to bed and woke up 2 1/2 hours later. *sigh* If it weren't for the surprise english and spanish and math hw (which I would have finished earlier so I could study for my AP WORLD FINAL), I would have had enough time to have a life and to sleep.



ANYWAYS. This is a growing epidemic at my school. I normally only have 4-6 hours of sleep every night! I have friends who just stay up the whole night doing hw!!!!!!!! I was debating whether or not to stay up the whole night, but I didn't. I figured 2 hours of sleep was enough to sustain me for the rest of the day. Anyways, I started falling asleep in AP world. Yaroslav (I can't spell his name) caught me falling asleep while writing notes and he started laughing. Then, I think I fell asleep in the middle of a conversation with my friend Audriana. O_o

i've been staying up till the wee hours of 2 to 3 am EVERY NIGHT THIS WEEK. right now it is 1:20, and i am doing math hw and preparing the presents for tomorrow to give to my friends at school...
yes, life has been stressful. i counted and i got 15 hours of sleep in about 96 hours...i feel dead. seriously, i feel so WEAK at school...i don't even fall asleep during class anymore. my eyes are just opened automatically, and they BURN!! but i have to keep my eyes open, but it hurts!!!

anyways, nicole is probably questioning, "Kimberly, why didn't you do your homework earlier?" good question, nicole, but the thing is, when i went home today, i had a splitting headache and i couldn't move. next question.

Celina: i totally sympathize with you!! here, you can have gaara, neji, and sai!! oh, and zuko too! keep them forever!

yes, tiffany they are. or, to be more precise, my english teacher is trying to kill me. but only when she's in a bad mood. when she's in a happy mood, she doesn't try to kill us and sympathizes with us. maybe i should let nicole explain what happened during this week:

Nicole: well, you see, the week started out badly for kimberly. on monday, our english teacher was in a bad mood, which meant bad, horrible things were to come our way. as in, "If you don't have your homework, you fail the test i'm giving tomorrow." number one, I, nicole, FORGOT TO BRING MY HW!! so i failed. number two: you're not allowed to fail someone who NEVER TOOK THE TEST. i know...i've heard things...<_<
anyways, kimberly did have her hw, but our english teacher was STILL pissed off, and scared poor kimberly. then, kimberly studied for two hours till 2:30 to 3 am for the test...because she also had to do collaterals and stuff. and kimberly thought the test was ok...and then kimberly had a chemistry collateral, a science research lab, a chem lab, an ap world collateral, english hw (which takes 3 hours for her to complete...literally!!!!), a chem test, and an ap world assignment...and a latin project and latin quiz...all in a few days. please give kimberly...but mostly me...some cookies. thank you.


okay, enough ranting. i'm actually in a very jolly mood today!! ONE MORE DAY OF SCHOOL!!! although, besides presents, i only have to look forward to projects and hw after vacation...*sigh* oh, and a spanish test...

erm...where was I? oh yeah...ONE MORE DAY OF SCHOOL!!!! BRING ON THE COOKIES!!! AND PRESENTS!! and, of course, the wonderful joys of giving...*nods head in approval*

as an update, nicole and i saw a play for extra credit for english class...our actor for our movie was in the play, so nicole thought it was a good idea to make signs that said "GO BEN!!" and "I LOVE BEN!" i thought he would be seriously be embarrassed, but he was actually flattered. oh, and nicole and I (but mostly nicole) are going to make our former english teacher from last year (who is a guy) wear an ugly dress, wig, and high heels...ask if you dare.

and one more random thing...i think i'm going to become an L fangirl...hm...my brother, , watchs DN, and i like L, so...(his name might be...LARRY!)

thanksgiving was at my house this year...the first time in my entire life!!! i mean, we always go to my cousin's house for thanksgiving instead!! it felt a little weird...

1. STUDY FOR ENGLISH TEST ON MONDAY!! my english teacher just gave everyone in the class double 0's (double zeros!!!!! this is the first zero of my LIFE) because no one could answer this stupid question about a Tale of Two Cities!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS??? so now she's giving us a REALLY HARD TEST on all of book I. we have to memorize the first two paragraphs, pretty much memorize every single FREAKIN' DETAIL of the book, and know all the vocabulary we DON'T KNOW...THIS SUCKS! the worst part is that we weren't even supposed to have a TEST because we didn't do chapters 5 and 6...she says were on our own...i'm scared
   
2. STUDY FOR AP WORLD TEST ALSO ON MONDAY!!!!!! since i WASN'T supposed to have an english test on monday, i thought i would only be paranoid about this...but no. this test will suck because i'm horrible at social studies...i'm scared again...oh, and has both of these tests as well...
   
3. SACCHAROMYCES CEREVISIAE LAB!!!!!!!! this is a lab about saccharomyces cerevisiae (try to pronounce it), aka baker's yeast. it's a lab report. except i have science research. science research labs are around...oh, i don't know...10 TO 15 PAGES!!!!!!!!!!!
   
4. SPANISH COLLATERAL ON TUESDAY!!!! *freaks out* i did it, but my group doesn't know who's playing who in the skit we made!!!

REALLY. now i just have a cold. i've been hacking up a lung this entire week, and i lost my voice for about 3 days. it was a good thing my friend julia bought me some cough drops....i really needed it.
    
16. the president of the knitting club (i'm vice president! XD) hasn't shown up for THREE WEEKS! she finally decided to THIS WEEK, but she didn't want to and made me organize the yarn...WTH???????? ORGANIZE YARN?? WHAT'S THE POINT?????????? and on top of that, some people are STILL missing their supplies, AND she wants people to pay for the yarn....HELLO!!     erm...well, my life is getting a LOT more stressful due to english class...and lack of sleep...and too much gym...and not enough sleep...and too many tests...and lack of sleep...and so many projects...and lack of sleep...and trying to find an actor for me and nicole's movie...and lack of sleep...did i mention that i was getting lack of sleep? i did? good. i got my point across.
    
    ANYWAYS, let's talk about what i'm doing so far. well, i'm done with my hw, but i still have to work on this project, but i MIGHT do it tomorrow, cuz it's only 11:30, and i might actually get SOME sleep...about two hours earlier than usual. XD
    
    english is stressing me out because we have a project friday (almost done) AND this stupid group project. we have to make a ballad. i'm good with rhyming and poetry (it's the only form of writing i can actually enjoy doing), but group work is hard...especially when she says ur topic isn't good enough...and your research isn't good enough...and that we shouldn't ask her questions about our project on friday cuz we should have finished it...and that our life expectancy is definitely not as important as our projects...so we should all get some more lack of sleep...and hey, why not just not sleep at all??? like my friend...she stayed awake the entire night last night (i'm not kidding you)...she fell asleep in spanish class...poor, poor friend....

    in science research, we're doing popcorn experiments!!!!! YEY!!!!!! it's A LOT of fun!!!!!! my group's experiment is that less popcorn will pop if more popcorn kernels are put into a pumper. so far, our data proves to be inconclusive. but whatever. we get to eat our experiment after!!!!!!! after we make popcorn and count the data and stuff, we grab the popcorn we make and start eating away!!! XD XD XD and today, someone in our class brought a stick of butter, so we went to the lab, heated the butter in a pan over a hot plate, randomly made some more popcorn, and BAM! we poured the butter over the popcorn, added a pinch of salt, and we all felt like we were at the movies!!!!! ^^
    
    well, i guess i could rant some more about more stuff, but i'm saving my rants for when i see my friends on monday (hopefully). LOL. you guys better get prepared! XD

    let's count down the things:
    an ap world project. it's a group project that's taking more effort than it's truly worth!! curse my group's enthusiasm...jk. it's due next week...
    
    an english COLLATERAL: for those who don't know, my school gives COLLATERALS, which is a big word for humongous projects. it's due Oct. 6, which is a saturday. my teacher didn't pick the date, the school did. she said she guesses my class will have to show up saturday morning...lol. she was just kidding with that. now it's due Oct. 5.
    
    i've had three quizzes so far. a latin, chemistry, and ap world quiz. on monday, i have an english TEST, a contest for science research, and a latin quiz. on tuesday, i have a chemistry TEST. on wednesday, the ap world project is due and i have a latin test. and all throughout the week i have ap world hw, which consists of an essay AND summary...not to mention it takes an hour to read ten pages from the freakin' text book.
    
    well, i don't really call this venting my anger, but whatever. oh, and i have hw from all my classes on a daily basis. that's 7 classes. that's seven freakin' hw assignments daily. NOT TO MENTION the fact that i'm the vp of my club (the knitting club! ^^), so i had to come in early today to a meeting. and i have labs every friday morning, so i wake up early...AGAIN. AND i want to join this film contest at my school...i have to ask mr. yellin about that...oh well, mr. yellin is the best teacher ever. XD so are a few other choice teachers, but why get into detail?

    Homeroom: same homeroom teacher!!!! yay!! she's nice. and my friend lawrence is there too! ^^ oh, and so is bowie. celina, if u r reading this, i will once again email u bowie's email address (DO NOT LOSE IT AGAIN!)
    
    Spanish: the teacher is really nice and motivated! also, she's reviewing!!!!! which is good, cuz i can't remember anything. oh, and if u get something wrong (like i did. XD) she's all nice about it.
    
    English: WHY AM I ALWAYS STUCK WITH BAD ENGLISH TEACHERS????? WHY???? WHY COULDN'T I GET THAT OTHER ONE I WANTED???????????? THAT NICE GUY?? (i'm not revealing teachers names unless they read this) well, the teacher seems strict, she gives a quiz EVERY FREAKIN' DAY ON THE HOMEWORK, and i'm somewhat scared of her. oh well...i was scared of my other english teacher, but then i ended up loving him. let's hope this works out the same way...
    
    Aerobics: yay! aerobics! NO TRACK!!!!!!! *laughs like a maniac* sry. i just hate running miles... anyways, the gym teacher is REALLY FREAKIN' NICE and easygoing!!!!! *thanks God, the almighty, for bestowing a nice gym teacher*
    
    Science Research: YES!!!!!!! WOOT!!!! I GOT IN! I GOT IN! I GOT IN!!!!! this class is science research, and it's a lot of fun! we made paper airplanes! *mine can't fly* and it has my old, extremely nice and funny science teacher from last year!!! *so happy* also, if i take this class and the classes that follow, i'll be able to enter the Intel Science Fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    
    Latin: the teacher seems nice. she's new here. anyways, she wrote a couple of books, and she doesn't go my Ms., but by Dr. How cool is that??? anyways, i'm lucky, cuz the other latin teacher is mean....lol. my friend said that as soon as he walked into the classroom, the teacher started to randomly say latin words and their meaning! LOL- i mean...my poor friend.
    
    Lunch: YAY!!!! I HAVE LUNCH WITH MOST OF MY FRIENDS!! *dances* anyways, i'm trying to start eating "healthy", so i'm having my mom pack a fruit or vegetable in place of my chips and chocolate. lol. liked to eat my chips when we went to school together. tiffany, u would probably be mad if i showed up with fruit instead of chips, wouldn't u?
    
    Chemistry: yay!! i have mr. (insert name here)! he's nice and FUNNY, and i had him for lab last year! now, i have him for chemistry AND lab!
    
    AP World: YES!!!! I HAVE MS. (insert name here)!!!!!!! she's like, the BEST ap world teacher EVER!!!! i had her last year for the second term, and she was the best!!!!!!
    
    Math: this teacher seems okay...i mean, she's a bit overly enthusiastic, and her jokes aren't funny. and, it seems her class will be boring, seeing as how it's math at the end of the day. *sigh*
    
    if u read my mood, i already know the onion rings and coke contradict the healthy eating habits i'm trying out. so
    
    argh...the only teacher that gave hw was my english. it was definitions. we needed to find the part of speech, the etymology (look it up), and two or more definitions. is she aware that some words DON'T have two or more definitions????????????? i spent twenty minutes trying to find a second definition for this one word!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *shouts*
