Accepted that it's pointless trying to apply for the Unmarried Partner visa since due to rules that changes last July, it is in fact impossible to use a financial co-sponsor, and the responsibility to provide 18,600 pounds falls almost entirely on the UK resident, aka the Brit. Now it isn't likely that he's ever going to get a job to pays him this much, much less keep it for 6 months as are the requirements of the visa, because of his Asperger's. Mixed feelings about the city so far. First of all, I LOVE how it's built, the bike system (INSANE amount of bikes, all kinds, people carrying babies, people walking dogs, tandem bikes, vespas, and NO ONE wearing helmets), haven't taken the tram but it looks cool, the roads are wide and open so you can see clearly, the architecture is gorgeous, the canals are crazy... It's just fun to walk around. We accidentally came across the red light district on the first night -- I think it's was the edge though, we didn't see any naked ladies, just some empty windows and red doorways. So I just spent two hours trying to remove the fbdownloader search virus/malware/crap and after uninstalling the program (which I did days ago), removing the search engine from chrome (it comes back every time I restart my computer), running a maleware search, Hitman Pro, and doing a SYSTEM RESTORE, I am still stuck with it. I've spent the last month chopping away at yet another script draft. It's been causing me more grief than the last because we've switched some events around, cut out a couple characters, added a new character, generally changed scenes... I can say with confidence it's getting progressively better, but damn. :faint: I've been working much slower than usual because it's giving me such a headache, which does concern me a little. Went to Croatia/Bosnia the other week. Stayed in Split, Mostar, and Dubrovnik (aka King's Landing).
